He was also ordered to pay $6,850 in fines and fees. His expected release date is May 30th, 2026. When officers activate their lights and sirens, the best and really the only option is to pull over and cooperate. But this suspect had other ideas. Instead of doing the right thing, he broke the rules and decided to play his own dangerous game. Yeah, this is not definitely the best move while a trooper is walking up to your car. And for actions like these, there's always a heavy price to pay. Yeah. 10 more hours and this is Are they on our channel or are they still on PDA? PDA. Okay. Yeah. Try to keep it in sight. The suspect, 33-year-old Jeremy Smith, then crashed the stolen patrol car, stole another vehicle, and managed to evade capture for two more days. It was later discovered that 2 days prior to killing Officer Hair, Smith had kidnapped and murdered a paramedic, the same individual from whom he had stolen the BMW. Given the severity of his crimes, Smith now faces a mandatory life sentence without parole. Prosecutors may also seek the death penalty for his actions. On April 28th, 2021, a Georgia state trooper was conducting routine patrol on Interstate 185 when a silver Hyundai Elantre flew past at 108 in a 70 mph zone.
