angry. >> Mhm. >> Got blue healer in them. That's for sure. Yeah. It looks like a >> ma'am. Is that your dog? >> My brother and his girlfriend's dog. >> Do they live here? >> Yes. >> Are they home? >> Yeah. He just took the dog in. >> Oh, that's your brother? Yes. Okay. Yeah. I'll need to talk to him after he gets a dog secured. >> Yeah. >> Um we've been here before for this. >> I didn't know that. >> I believe we have. recently, >> I believe. So, >> how connected is he to this dog? >> Not very anymore. I understand. >> He may have to >> get put down. >> Well, that's not for us to decide, but he may want not to have it anymore cuz this is a huge liability. >> There's two people in here going to the hospital now. >> I know. I know. >> I don't know what to say. >> Yeah. >> I'll go block in a minute. Okay. I'll just >> Yeah. Just make sure the dog is safe. >> Yes. >> And then have him come over here. >> So then >> it's his dog. >> His girlfriend. He said it's his girlfriend. So I thought I was assuming that was his girlfriend when I said it was her. >> She said that's his that's her brother. >> Her brother. When he said it's my girlfriend. I just assumed that was the girlfriend. >> Yeah. And she said the dog is his. >> So make sure that dog is safe and then have him come over here. >> Do they live next door then >> or is it part of this? It's part of this. Last time I was in this house was uh a 32y old that was found dead in the tub on Father's Day. >> The suicide with the shotgun. >> Was that here too? >> Yeah. >> Jeez, this house has some chicken. Remember the chicken with the diapers on this >> house has some bad vibes, man. Say that again. >> He doesn't leave the dog unattended. So >> Oh, got >> uh Where's the dog? >> I'm not worried about that. It's the darkest time. >> They're both getting transpar. >> No, the kids only signing a refusal. >> Okay. >> Well, I need your info, so I'll follow. >> I know, but this is a real ride. A real ride. This is going to be good. I'm going to clean myself up and I'll be here. It does. >> Do you know if that thing? >> I don't know. Officer over there talking to the owner or not. >> I need to get their >> I think the third person is really. >> Yeah. Mark, is this the same dog? >> Uh if it's u is it like an Australian like mixed breed dog or whatever? I don't know what the hell it is. >> Okay. Is the Is the lady who owns it? Wanita. >> Oh, he's right here. He's actually >> I haven't got that information. Tonyy's with him. I think he's over by the fence. >> Okay. >> He's He's on the stoop right there. >> Does I have a catch? You need to put it in the back of the squad. >> Well, what I mean? >> No. No. So, like what? So, this was like two days ago. Come on. >> Well, what dictates if we can confiscate the dog? I mean, I'm going to say with >> I think with a bite, according to county, they need to be quarantined for 10 days, >> if they're not quarantining the dog, >> I don't know. I would say I mean, I'm at this point with where I mean, I think the report finally got in and submitted >> Yeah. >> yesterday. So, I don't know that that got to them yet. I almost feel like though since this is two in like a 3day span that they should come out. I mean I I would be I >> I would maybe call county and say what would you recommend? Can you guys come and pick the dog up >> for quarantine? >> Yeah, I'll I'll call him right now. >> All right. >> Yeah. >> You want to do that and I'll go I have to get more information. >> Sure. Sure. Sure. >> You doing okay? No. >> What do you got going on? >> I've got an external fixator on. My foot has had surgery. >> I don't know what that is, but it doesn't look good. >> God damn it. >> It's a cage to hold my broken foot. >> Holy [ __ ] >> dude. >> Yeah, I've got pins in my heel. I got pins. >> I know what you're talking about now. And now you're saying it. >> Uh, I had to run downstairs, so it's hurting. And >> I got you. So, take take a breath. Take a breath. So, >> she's going to come down here. Um, >> your girlfriend's here. >> Gotcha. Gotcha. All right. That makes sense. >> What they did is they she let him off the leash down here, but the gate >> cracked like that one is right now. >> Nudged his way through. Do you know where it all where the where the bite happened or was it >> behind the car? I think I wasn't sure. I just heard the commotion and I I I >> downstairs and I saw it and >> Okay. >> started heading downstairs. Just take take a breath. Everything's going to be okay. >> Yeah, I know. >> Uh and uh you make sure you're okay. And then uh I'll have Officer Priest come over and What's your girlfriend's name? >> Uh Renee. >> Renee. Okay. I'll have her him talk to Renee, get all the information we need. He'll explain kind of the way it goes from here. Have you ever dealt with a dog bite before? >> Never. >> Okay. It's It's not that big a deal. Uh if as long as the dog's not habitual. Has it ever happened before? Do you know? >> It happened the other day when she was walking him. >> Okay. So, >> this is a second second occurrence in like last two days. >> Yeah. So, um, we did it by the person by a person. >> I know she was able to do a roundhouse kick on it or something like that. >> Uh, he'll explain the the procedure and it's not and it's something that, uh, um, he'll explain it to you. Um, we just take the information down and then, uh, >> yeah. Uh, it's a little boy, okay? >> He's got a pretty good puncture in his leg. Uh, both dad and the kid had have bites on their legs. So, um, whatever whatever happened, he was he was not he wasn't the dog wasn't happy, but dogs do dog stuff. He's got a very large bubble right now, right? So, anything that uh is on is uh >> penetrating that the edge of that bubble is uh you know, in his wheelhouse. >> That's right. No, I get it. Um yeah, like I said, uh Officer Price, he'll come over here and chat with you a little bit or with your >> Did the little dog get hurt? >> I don't know anything about another dog. Was there another dog involved, too? >> I I don't know. I >> The little dog was probably trying to protect the the kid, maybe. I don't know. >> All I was trying to do was get that dog ground. Yeah, you you did a good I mean you were fine when I got it. You had it all taken care of. Um let me uh send officer Pesi over here to kind of talk with you and >> Paresi. Yeah. He'll come over and chat with you and then uh get some information from you and then he'll do the report and he'll kind of explain to you what happens from here. Okay. >> Yes, sir. >> Awesome. I'll send him back here in just a second. >> Doing okay. >> Oh my goodness. Yeah. >> Not really. But >> you need somebody to come about. >> Okay. They're all right. It's got some some scrapes and some punctures. It's okay. >> I didn't know the gate was open. >> I know. It's It happens. It happens. >> Both of them were open. >> Yeah. Yeah. That's what talking to your boyfriend in the back there. He was kind of explaining to me how it all went down. >> Okay. So, um you sure you don't need to be checked out a little bit? >> You sure you're okay? Okay. Relax. They're going to be They're going to be fine. They got some scrapes and some uh some some punctures, but uh >> scary, isn't it? >> It's not okay. It's scary. It's scary. Especially when you have one that's >> as sweet as as sweet to you and then you know like this. So >> I don't know what he's going to have to put down. I don't know what >> is this the second time that he's he's attacked somebody. >> He >> Yeah. >> Yeah. >> Okay. >> He's a puppy and >> Yeah. He was explaining um >> Do you know what kind of dog? >> He's an Australian blue healer. >> Okay. And does is he current on shots? >> He he got his first puppy once, but he hasn't gone back yet. >> Okay. >> How long ago was that? Or how old is he? >> He's 5 months. >> 5 months. Okay. Okay. You had the first round of shots. >> I did the first round. >> When did that happen? >> Remember? >> It's been like December. >> Since December. Well, he was only 5 months. >> Um, just got the first round when he was a puppy. >> Yeah. So, just his first round of puppy shots. >> First round. >> Okay. >> I haven't been back. I haven't surgery. >> I got 2110. Can you contact animal control? See if they can get >> What's the dog's name? >> Ink. >> Australian. So, we're talking a three-day span here. >> I know. I screw it down. I already know. >> So, what what's going to happen is uh we're going to have see if animal control come out and just to see what they want to do. Um >> yeah, I've contacted them. >> We'll let them make the ultimate decision. >> Hi. >> But, uh you know, >> I'm not going to I'm not going to I'm not going to browbe you over the whole thing, but it's >> uh that's dangerous. That's dangerous. >> I know. >> Okay. >> I know. It was my fault. >> Well, the gate left open is is one thing, you know. You know, dog going out and and doing what you know, dog reacting like that's a whole another. I know. >> Yeah. So, um let's uh let's just kind of take a deep breath and uh make sure you're okay. Okay. I know your your boyfriend's got some some health issues. It looks like he >> he just had surgery, but that's why we're even here. We was in the country. He's not used to people. He's not used to cars. >> Okay. >> I'm Yeah. I'll let Officer Breezy know real quick. So, yeah. So, I mean, they've been notified, so >> we'll see if they will or won't. Sometimes they will, sometimes they won't. >> Well, either way, I mean, they're quarantine. I mean, how are they going to, you know, I know I and I think >> Okay. >> in this case that um I mean, just by the span of a couple days and they >> all right. >> Uh this is Renee. Uh she's the owner. Um >> hi, Rene. >> It is 5-month old puppy. It had its first round of shots, okay? >> But didn't have any follow-ups after that. I don't know what that means as far as puppies go. >> Um, do you have a rabies? Where was the rabies uh shot? >> Affirmative. >> Um, they'll explain kind of the process whenever they get here. >> Yeah. >> Um, this is the third time. >> Uh, there was a fourth time where I guess it wasn't possibly like another time where it went after someone but didn't they get a get away from what I'm now hearing. >> Oh, well, you know, >> twice. >> So, well, when I say third time, I mean people. How many people? >> Oh, yeah. >> Yeah. So, there was there was one person before we took a report on these two and supposedly there was another person who didn't actually get fit, but dog. >> Um, just so I understand. I'm not sure like I'm a dog and if someone told me I had a syringe of my dog, I would be upset. I'm not sure to you or I'm trying to understand that there >> I'm upset about all >> a little in shock. >> Yeah. >> I just woke up and I let him out. >> Do you know why the dog was outside or >> Yeah, it was my fault cuz I was let him down to go potty. I thought the gates were shut. >> Okay. crack as much as they can. >> Okay. >> There was they were both wide open. I didn't know. I come down the back stairs. You can't see them. And >> it was my fault because I figured the gates were shut. They've been letting their dog out front. >> So, I just let them out. He's got no one else to do. I usually know it. >> Not the end of the world. Okay, the I know it's upsetting just >> um with it being the second the second incident, animal control is going to come out and evaluate the situation and see what they're going to do. Um with uh with dog technically there's a there's a 10day quarantine period now with this being the second incident reported of a human being. I I don't know the person to be honest with the person that went the other day. Uh yeah, there's there was these two and then uh there was I guess one where there was actually a port and there was the one you're talking about where the dog they got away. That's why I was involved with any of them. So I'm going on this some remembered and then uh uh so there's there's two documented reports uh this one and then one previous and then according to some witnesses there was a third but I don't know what happened with that one. They they didn't stick around by the time we got here. Animal control is going to come out and do their thing. >> Decide whether they're going to let the quarantine period happen here. >> Located subject left the little boy. >> He's okay. >> They're okay. They both have puncture puncture wounds on their on their cap. Um, the one has two, the dad has two, and then the little boy head. There's cool punctures, you know, maybe a maybe a scar, maybe a bruise. A lot of bruising probably for sure, but they're definitely bleeding where it punctured punctured the skin. So, the kid's going to go get checked out, make sure um she was explaining to me the the shots. It had its first round of of puppy shots. >> Yeah. But no followup. >> It's only six months old. >> Yeah, she said five months. So, I don't know how that works. I don't know how that works. She thought it was maybe in December that he he the dog had its first round of shots. >> I think it that was when we picked him up. >> You know where where he received those shots at? >> Uh it was uh we had to pick him up. Uh it was past the cell. >> Was it a breeder? >> Yes. >> It was a breeder. >> Yeah. And I know that she was reputable and she >> Yeah. So I'm sure they have the >> just whether I don't know what follow-ups are required to make. I don't know. I don't know [ __ ] about that. So um we'll work through it. We'll work through it. But yeah, the remote control will come out and uh >> yeah, it's one of those one of those things. >> Are they on their way or >> Yeah, they're on the way. They're on the way here. So, um Well, they they said they weren't that maybe some people. I don't know. On the way for me is as fast as I can get here, but on the way for some people that's not the same thing. >> Yeah, true. >> So, we'll see. We'll see. >> Sure enough. Uh, Renee, can you um Yeah, I'm probably gonna need to look at this a little harder. Um, but uh can you grab the phone or Where's Candy at? Would you go upstairs? >> I don't know. >> Okay. Uh, I'll just I'll get the phone. I'll call I'll call up Randy. And uh yeah, she's kind of she's my sister, but she's good. >> Where you got her from? No, she's the the one who uh just she's like >> Oh, okay. Okay. >> I got you. I got you. Okay. >> Well, I'm so sorry. >> Yeah. I mean, like I said, I I never I never get upset with the owners because dogs do dog things, but it's dangerous, you know. It's dangerous. >> Yeah. I guess this gate was open. It was probably because all the damn hoses. No, they they had them both open. They they were I don't know. >> Both of them open. >> That's what she said. >> You know what? >> They're very They're both very cooperative. They understand the situation. >> You know what? I might just call them from here cuz the animal control is a is a is a contact on here. >> There you go. >> Can they take their dog to animal control? >> Well, that was that's the other part. I think that they at this point if they're not going to come out, then they have to take it over there. I'm I'm forcing their hand. They've got to take this responsibility of like, hey, like if you really want to show that, you know, you were you were doing you're doing your normal good stuff, but like you know, you I mean reasonleness. If they're not going to come here, you got to take it there. This is your responsibility. She got the sheet of paper from the animal bite the other day saying that. So, you know what I mean? >> Got to keep the point. >> Yeah. I mean, the dog is is Hank, right? >> Hank. >> Yeah. Yeah. Hank. Yeah. Five five or six months old. >> These are done on uh >> computer now, right? >> Don't report. >> Yeah. >> Well, I mean the uh >> she I think that that thing is >> the ordinance. Yeah. You should be able to pull the uh thing on like the C ticket. >> Yeah. >> Yeah. >> Yeah. It should be on there. >> Compliance sticking on that. >> Yeah. >> Yeah. >> Yeah. It should be on there. >> Okay. >> Yeah. No, I knew the end bike was in there. It's its own >> Yeah, it's it own. I'm just going to try this this animal control and see what happens. >> Did you go inside or >> She went in to clean up? Yeah. >> Okay. >> Is that a citation? >> It is. We have no choice. >> I understand that. >> Um the other part is though, I mean at this point cuz just for I mean public safety cuz this is three people. Three people bitten. >> Three. >> Yeah. Cuz somebody got bit the other day. >> Where at? >> It was right over on Sixth Street when she was out walking. >> Okay. is one >> and then two. >> Two today. >> Oh, two today. >> Yeah. >> Yeah. Both the >> So, >> makes Yeah. >> makes three. And so, >> you're not asking for my advice, but I'm going to give it to you. Get rid of the dog. >> Yeah. >> Yeah. >> Okay. >> I mean, it's >> it's a liability. >> Yeah. Right. If it kills a child, I mean, if the kid was smaller and there was wasn't a parent around, a kid's riding his whatever, people are going to sue. It's not worth it. >> I'm just I have dogs, too. And if if my dogs did this, they'd be gone. >> So, it's just my opinion. >> No, I understand that, >> you know. And I didn't ask for it, but >> Yeah. >> I mean, the other thing that we were going to say is cuz >> if We've pushed on animal control to come out in come out here. >> They're being difficult and for for a very kind uh word and almost, >> you know, I know that this is not an act of animal cruelty. >> Okay. Yeah. >> It's just >> we're just going to call it what it is. I mean, unfort it's vicious and and there's some form of some level of negligence that happened. Okay. with and so with what happened with that, you know, I pushed on them to come out and do their job. They're not doing that. But it is also the dog owner's responsibility. Then I say that some way or shape or form obviously you're out of the mix, but see or you're staying with is it one sister? >> Sister. It's my sister. >> Your your sister. Okay. So your sister King County Animal Control, their main office is off of Keslinger Road. Yeah. you know, you know where I'm talking. So, okay. Again, I'm not trying to be trying to insult you or anything like that or I thought that um you guys were from out of town. Am I correct? Or >> uh we just uh were here temporarily to find a place basically. >> Gotcha. Gotcha. Okay. And that's what Officer Kamal told me. He was the officer who came came by for the other dog bite. Yeah. So, so >> and you seem like decent people. I mean, >> the thing the problem is I walk away from here and these people say, "Well, what' you do?" Well, did you give him a citation at least? >> You hear what I'm saying? Their their child was bit. He's going to the hospital. He's got a puncture wound, >> you know. So, >> yeah, >> I I know you understand that. >> Of course, I do. I >> But I I'm sorry. I'm just trying to rehash the whole thing. Uh the uh Yeah. So, just so you know, the gates were left open. No, none of us left it open as far as we can tell. Both gates. And that's I don't know if the kids did it >> but but it doesn't even matter at this point as long as he's okay. >> Yeah. >> And I'm sure he'll be fine through this of course. But that poor dog. I mean >> you know he's just got that. >> Yeah. He's he's a uh you know a a blue healer and they're um very loyal but uh he's still a puppy and uh you know not like a infant puppy but he's got a large bubble right so anything that gets inside the edge of that bubble is um and we've been trying to work with him to shrink that bubble basically and he go down the street he'd be barking at everybody we did that yesterday and I was able because he just would start to growl, but you know, with a couple good commands, he was fine. >> Mhm. >> And he was learning. But damn, this is so unfortunate cuz she we lost the dog last last uh last year, last summer. >> She uh we lived out in a very rural area. our our nearest neighbor was a mile away. And um we lived on a a gravel road and uh she let the dog out in the morning when she woke up to to go to the washroom and uh washroom and to take a piss and uh well, they like to uh chase cars. And by God, one went by that day and the guy was kind of an ass. And uh as the dog was catching up to him, he just he hit him and killed him. >> Mhm. >> Big tragedy. So this this this dog was supposed to be a new companion for her and it was um you know uh I've got another healer up there, but she is so sedate and does not. We were hoping that the two together would be >> Yeah. >> Uh she would be able to teach him some good things, but of course he's just he puppies out that >> anyway. I know that you guys Well, to sum up, >> I'd say at this point, since it sounds like they're not going to come out, um I'm giving you being you and Wanita the information to go up to Peck and Kessling or the main office for animal control. Yeah, we will >> take the dog to them. Are you going to Can you do that today? >> Yeah, as soon as she gets cleaned up, I've got to take a look at this. >> Absolutely. Absolutely. I know. I mean, between her and sister, if there's like I said Okay. >> Yeah, we'll we'll get them there. >> I appreciate that. I can take it there. >> Okay. All right. All right. Do you have any questions for us? >> Uh [clears throat] I I No, not off the top of my head, but we may. And I um uh as long as we can contact you if we do. >> I mean, if they do show up here, you'll know what you you'll know. >> Yeah, I don't think they will. >> But I don't think they will considering they basically were very abrupt with our dispatch. >> I see. >> And then and then they didn't answer the call through. >> Typically not real helpful with us. So, >> oh, that's unfortunate, you know. >> Yeah. Yeah. >> You gotta, you know. >> Yeah. >> I'm not trying to vilify anybody, but unfortunately, >> um, >> yeah, it's people. Yeah. >> You know, >> Yeah. >> I uh >> Well, and I think it's I I don't I don't think it's a personality thing. It's just their policies. So, >> Oh, I see. >> You know, I don't think it's the people we're talking to. I think it's just Oh, they're kind of locked into a routine procedure. >> Yeah. I think it's what they're told. So, >> yeah. Yeah. And I don't I don't think there's like I've never dealt with anyone there who I would think was rude or anything. It's just their >> I just think that there Yeah. >> bureaucracy out. >> Okay. Well, that's I'll just, you know, try and focus on that when we get in there. >> Yeah. >> I mean, just again, you haven't been unreasonable with us. >> No, not at all. >> And and you know, when Officer Duncan was talking to to Oneita about stuff, I mean, again, you know, she >> obviously >> this has flared up. >> Yeah. way beyond uh anything that I ever foresaw in the last couple days. >> Yeah. >> Um it's >> Yeah, >> it is what it is. But I've got to, you know, I gota >> It's You got to be responsible. >> Tell me you guys are at least on the first floor. >> No. >> Oh jeez. You have to go all the way up to the top of that. >> No, normally I'm okay. I have to go to uh get um uh infusions every uh we got a pick line. Yeah, I was going to say I saw that and I'm like obviously to help fight off stuff for infection infection and everything. >> Well, thank you for restraining the dog for us. >> Oh, yeah. I'm I soon as I saw >> I heard it I we didn't have any other good option >> and that wouldn't have gone well. >> No, I understand that. I do. Um, but he was uh for some reason uh he's just he's stronger than she is right now and >> you know uh well uh not me. >> Okay. >> But I came I came tumbling down and uh >> and uh this just went right for the dawn and uh I knew that that's what had to happen. So >> yeah. So, I appreciate everything you guys have done and I'm really sorry to be such a disruption in the day. >> Well, we just don't we here. We just don't want to we don't want anybody else to get hurt and we know that you're not trying to actively resist. I mean, you've been reasonable. I just hope that we can >> We'll continue to do it and we'll get this corrected in one way or another. >> Okay. All right. >> We appreciate that. Okay. >> Let you go. All right. Thank you. Best of luck. Heal up. >> All right.
