Born in '75? >> Yep, Luis. >> Animal control responded to the scene and took custody of the dog while officers transported Luis to the police station to begin the booking process for the charges against him. According to investigators with the Iredell County Sheriff's Office, the investigation began after allegations involving two juveniles who had been brought from Argentina to Iredell County under Luis's temporary guardianship. The reported incidents are alleged to have occurred between 2002 and 2008. As a result of the investigation, Luis was charged with felony human trafficking, felony statutory sexual offense, felony sexual activity by a custodian, and felony indecent liberties with a child. He is currently being held without bond in Florida while awaiting extradition back to Iredell County.
