I didn't call them. Truly, she just has a drinking pot and she's on the phone jibber jibbering everybody and calling them swipes and I'm an ass wife. She's hit me with her cane. I haven't laid a hand on her. >> So, >> yes, I live here. This is my This is my establishment that I bought 15 years ago. >> Okay, I got you. So, who called? >> Yes, she did. Cuz I sure didn't. >> Okay. Who is that? Is this your wife? Is it your >> No, she's just uh my girlfriend of about three years. This is just getting more escalating every day. I mean, last week she just grabbed the out of my cheeks. I went to the Elks lodge to do something. >> Rick asked me what happened. >> Okay. >> I have to put up with this every night of the week. >> Yes, sir. >> Even it's even got bad. It's in the morning hours like it's 7:00. >> Okay. >> You know, and I didn't lay a hand on her, but she's got a hold of me a couple of days ago and just grabbed me by my throat and, you know, shook me. I didn't, you know, I didn't lay a hand on her. I didn't push her. I didn't do a damn thing. >> Yes, sir. >> Bruises and injuries. She's got I got pictures in my phone where she fell over here in her pajamas at about what 7:00 in the morning. That means time stamp, but she's in her pajamas just totally drunk walking around laying out in the house laying out on the floor. >> Uh I'm just saying. >> Yes, sir. I understand. I mean, I know it's not the way anybody should be handling this here. She called the cops. I And she's abusing me. Says I beat her. I did not. >> Nothing got physical tonight. >> I didn't touch her. Oh, she's telling you she's also I think Rick asked me about blood on my ear. >> Nose. Yeah. Yes, she has. But I mean, I'm not pressing charge. That's me. >> You know, I don't I want to stay clear and let everybody know I'm [clears throat] not pressing charge. She called. She's hurt. that she's hurting because she does it herself. Yes, sir. >> She's got swollen ankles and if she wouldn't drink, she probably wouldn't have all this issue. She threw up more times the last couple of days in the morning hours. >> Okay. Did y'all get an argument tonight? >> Pardon me. >> Did y'all get in arguments tonight? >> She goes, "The dogs are outside. The dogs now outside. I'm outside." I told her the dogs are in their bedroom. >> Yeah. >> Get go to bed. We got a dog in the back room there and a dog right here. Small dogs, >> but that's their routine. They go to bed. They go, "One goes to that room, one goes to this room." >> Okay. >> And I told her, "You don't even know what's going on." >> That's what I said. You don't know >> for one minute what you did. >> You know, >> sir, she got drunk enough last week, take off, went to Arby's, fell and busted herself. >> Oh, yeah. >> And then she wrecks and then she comes back one night with my vehicle and runs right into the back of this car. This is brand new. This is a on the front. >> Do you need medical as well? >> No, no. I I'm not I don't I don't want to press. That's what I'm saying. >> I'm just asking about your neck and I'm fine. It's just a small statement. I've lied to everybody at the Elks Lodge saying that I got it in a tree branch. >> Would you be able to willing to fill out an affidavit for us of your statement? >> Not at this time. See what all takes place. >> Yes. Okay. Thank you. >> Give me just one second. All right. Hey. >> Hey. Are you a cop or >> I'm a police officer? What happened? [clears throat] >> He attacked me. >> Okay, let's sit down over here. Okay. >> Okay. Thank you. Thank you, Jesus. >> Yeah. I'm going to let go. Yeah. >> So, what happened? >> Um, he attacked the out of me. He um physically >> sorry threatened me and he attacked me tonight. >> How did how did he attack you? >> He pushed his body into me and pushed me. >> He pushed his what? >> Into me and pushed me. And I did this to defend myself, you know, cuz I was like I didn't know what else to do. >> And so you just clenched your fist. Yeah, I did. And there's scratches on his face from my goddamn dogs. >> From your dogs? >> Yes. From this morning. They scratched him. >> What about the one on his nose? >> His arms all the time and they scratch his face today. >> Okay. So, when did all this happen? >> Tonight. >> Tonight? >> Yeah. >> Okay. >> I'm sorry. >> So, what do you mean by he pushed his body into you? He pushed his body weight into me and he ways more than I do and he scared me and it physically made me afraid and I was scared. So I said to him that I will shoot you in the head if you hit me >> and I don't even have a goddamn gun. And he was cussing me out and treating me like [ __ ] And then he said, "I'll call the cops on you because you'reing drunk." >> Okay. So, did you hit him back or anything? >> No, I didn't hit him back. I just had to push him off. >> I just pushed him off of you. >> Okay. How much have you had a drink today? >> Not much. >> Not much. >> You want to take my blood? >> I mean, I can't take your blood right here. >> You can. And I will allow it because I am not that drunk. [snorts] >> Okay. Not cuz I have a tumor on my spine and it hurts like a mother swipe and I have to do something. So I I do drink whiskey at night. [snorts] I drink it starting at 7 8ish at night [snorts] and that's how I sleep at night and that's the only way I could sleep. >> Okay. So is that your first class? No, it's the second or third glass. >> Your second or third glass, >> huh? >> That's your second or third? >> Yeah. >> Okay. >> But you can rest me if you want to. I don't care. I'm so much pain. Can you check more? [laughter] >> I hurt so bad. I can't get in with the goddamn doctor to fix my spine till June. And I might be paralyzed for life by June. Okay, >> because that's what they said because I have a T7 men and it's rare that it causes these problems, but it is a thing. I had it and I read it. You know, >> she's a She's saying he only like kind of slightly pushed her. She's like three glasses in right [laughter] now. >> Hey, man. They told us you were hurting somewhere. My teeth have t and it hurts so bad and it's causing paralysis. >> You had surgery on your spine or >> not yet. >> Okay. I've got a fracture. >> Yeah. >> Are y'all transporting? >> Yeah, we're taking >> Okay. 375 390. She's getting transported. >> What happened with the the Arby's thing? Cuz I we were the one of the ones that found her out there. >> Okay. I can't tell you exactly what happened. I was already in bed. >> Okay. >> She took off with my Jeep. This one right here. >> Hey, used to hang I used to hang the keys up, you know, all of them. Knew right where they're at, everything. and she took it. And the way I understand it, all I know is I guess she might have just blacked out and hit her face >> Yeah. >> on the ground. I don't know. >> It looked like she fell when she got out of the car when >> I'm just saying but but you know and I and that night I swear to God when I walked up there to get my vehicle I've never seen so many cops in my life. I go, "What the hell? What are they waiting for?" You know, because I thought they were kind of maybe looking for me or something. And so, >> yeah, >> but like I said, I I I drove up there first of all, seen a lot of coughs and then I came back uh and walked up there to get it. I was using this one here and but she took this one a couple of times before that and one day just crammed right [clears throat] up into the back, the brand new one I just bought. >> She's taking medications. >> Okay. She claims she's got meds. She don't take her No, no, no. I can tell you right where her meds are. I can tell you there's a past stack of papers that has to be filled out and sent back in and on top underneath that stack of paper is like a dime or a quarter on another paper and her all her meds are down there. She has not been taking her meds. She does not like taking >> Yes, sir. Are y'all married? >> No. >> Okay. I've just known her for about 5 years. Is that long? >> Yes. >> Yeah. >> Okay. Y'all just friends? >> Well, okay. Well, we are partners, you know, you could say, but I mean she don't she don't put nothing into this deal. Yeah. You know, it's been >> not a dating relationship or anything. >> Y'all just live together. >> Well, no, we're we're a couple. >> Okay. Yeah, that's what I thought. >> We're not We're not, you know, we're not married. I did ask her to marry me at first. >> But y'all been together about 5 years here. >> Well, we've known for about 5 years. I think she's been living here about 3 years. >> Okay. >> Cuz she needed a place to stay. >> Yes, sir. >> And she was sick with uh what's that stuff we had? >> Uh co. >> Yeah. She was sick. So, she didn't have nowhere to go. and I told her to come over here and we just been together ever since. Did it cause pain? >> Well, this here, there was this I only reason I knew about it. I touched it and I had blood on my hand. That's how I knew about that. >> Okay. Did it cause you pain? >> No. I mean, you know, just like some nails digging in, you know, there is pain, but not that I'm going to die from. >> Yeah. But there was still pain there from it. >> Yeah. Okay. You might figure out some pictures real quick. I'm going to hold the slide above you. All right. >> We'll try to get your nose. I'll try not to get the slide in your eye. >> Hey, was this with the cane that's sitting on the couch in there? >> Uh, yes. It's the only she has. >> Yes, sir. Do you mind if we go inside and take a picture of that? >> I don't care. Okay. Thank you. I mean, >> like I said, I'm the one not called the place, >> but [laughter] this being y'all living together, this is considered family violence. >> Oh, I know. >> So, we have a duty to do something here. >> Well, I know. But I mean, >> at the end of the day, we still >> got to keep things from escalating, you know, >> any further than what they are. >> That's why I was out here and I called Rick, cuz if I had to, I had my keys in my pocket that I thought I had. Yeah. My keys in my pocket and my man Curtis ready to go. >> Ready to go? Yes, sir. How many times did she hit you? >> Okay. Starting like what, just an hour ago or so? >> Yes, sir.
