You're being arrested for aggravated assault on a PO, on a police officer. >> You got to step out of the car. You got to step out of the car. Don't do it. You're 25 year old. You're an adult. Right. Playing like a child. Get out of the car. Get out of the car. Out of the car. What's up everybody? In today's video we have a drunk Karen who tried to run away from the cops earning multiple felonies, but first I want to show you this video of a spoiled brat who pointed a laser at a police helicopter and is now facing 20 years in prison for this extremely stupid decision. Without further ado, let's get started. >> got me in the eye. And were you blinded for a little bit? I mean, yeah. It hit me right in the eye. Right eye. And it was McDonald's parking lot right here, right beneath us. Going through the drive-thru. Hello, Deputy Morris Sheriff's Office. All right. I'll get him. How old are you? I'm 25. All right. Can you do me a favor and step out of the car for me? Come right out of those real quick. Come on, can you come over here with me, please? Um obviously you're not in handcuffs or anything like that, but I'm going to just read you your rights. Okay? >> They have the laser? >> Yeah, they got admission and they're getting the laser. All right. So, I'm going to point to you guys. Tell me if it's the right one. How old are we talking? Is it like a kid or something? I don't know. They're getting the mission? >> Yeah. Ask how old. Let's figure out if this is a kid or something. How How old are you? 25. >> 25. I have some questions. Do you want to answer my questions? >> Sure. Yeah? Yeah. All right. So, what was going on with the laser? You were I was just playing with it. I was just putting it in the air. You were putting it in the air? I was just playing or like flashing it around. Flashing it around. Okay. Yeah. Did you like point it at the helicopter or anything? No. Okay. Well, cuz you see the helicopter right there? Yeah. It's a police helicopter. It's a Sheriff's I didn't point it at it. I know, but they they saw that you did point it at them though because it hit them. Oh, it did? Yes. I didn't mean to. So, that's a federal crime. The reason why it is a crime is because if you shine a light at them and it causes blindness to them, they can crash the helicopter. Okay. Uh you know what I mean? So, it's super they it's they take it very, very serious. >> No, I understand. Um Yeah, that is a crazy laser. I'm not saying you're going to go to jail today, but what I'm going to do I'm going to write a report on this incident tonight. Dude, that's not hot. Oh my god. Put your hand out. No, dude. Those things are hotter than hell. Okay. I'm going to say that I talked to you. Um it might have been a mistake, right? And then this that report gets forwarded over to a federal entity and then they're the ones who decide whether or not they want to do anything, okay? Okay. But it is very serious. >> It's not It's not like that bad, dude. It takes like now that I like It wasn't even that bad. That was like a second. It's like oh that was hot. And it goes to the FA So what I find really funny about this video is that they're trying to explain to her how serious it is and that you shouldn't play with lasers. Meanwhile, the police officers who are grown men are playing with the exact same laser like it's all fun and games. Granted, they're not pointing it at a helicopter, but still you're trying to teach this lady a lesson, you might want to be serious for a moment. FAA, right? It gets forwarded. He's going to pop your tire, Ian. You have a balloon? Dude, I want I want a laser like this so bad, dude. Where did you get this from? I got it from one of my friends. Lasers are pretty wild. Yeah, they are. They're called star lasers. They're for pointing at stars and stuff. You can order them on like Amazon and stuff like that. And it goes that far? Mhm. It's for stars. What did they say? Uh they just want to charge you with aggravated assault. Yeah, I interviewed her. She said that she wasn't doing it intense She said she was just like playing with it, messing in there. I don't know what they saw or what their reasoning is. It's up to you if that's if that's what you want to do. That's what they want. You guys I'll stop, dude. Don't Dude, No. >> I'm live, bro. What the I'm going to have to issue you a number one lane driving citation. I rated it as a God, it's not that bad. Ow. Okay, dude. I need you to merge into the number three on the street. Can I ask why Okay, so right now you're being arrested for aggravated assault on a PO on a police officer. Okay, that is a very powerful laser. Those are our pilots up there. If you strike them in the eye, they could possibly lose control of the of the helicopter and crash. I shouldn't have done that. Okay. So again, you are getting charged with aggravated assault on a police officer, okay? So you will be going to jail tonight. So what happened when you were over there at the McDonald's? I don't know. I So again, you're being charged with aggravated assault on a PO, okay? You said you were pointing it at the stars because it's a star laser. Yeah. And you happened to see the helicopter, but you didn't think you were that close to it. Is that correct? That's correct. When you saw the helicopter, did you like turn it off? Did you keep pointing it? Did you keep rotating it? Like what what did you do? I turned it off. If you strike them in the eye, they could crash the helicopter and that's zero tolerance, okay? You are how old? 25. You're 25 years old. You're an adult. Right. Playing like a child. Right. Okay? Step on over here. So they're charging her with aggravated battery on Leo, which is a very serious felony, but it is nothing compared to the other charge that will be authorized later down the road. I mean, this thing seems very powerful because you see the officer was playing with it and was lighting it on his arm and it looks like he was checking his arm for a burn mark. So imagine the damage it could do if you're flying a helicopter and this hits you right in the eye. Could cause a crash. Go ahead and have a seat. Can you help me? Okay, do you have anything on you? Anything in your bra? Anything inside your person cuz you're going to go through a body scanner. And if you go through the scanner and they find something on you, they'll obviously charge you for yes, for taking stuff into a jail. Okay. I just want to make sure I give everyone the fair warning before we go. Okay. I swear you guys, I didn't realize, but I understand. That's something definitely not to mess around with when it comes to laser striking an airplane or helicopter, okay? Yeah, she's they said that she was clearly outside of the vehicle pointing at them, struck them, and then got back in the vehicle. Yeah, I don't know why they're going this route. I'm just Being on patrol, brother. I'm going to call my sergeant. A laser strike, especially that high-powered laser towards a police helicopter, is nothing to fool around with. Don't play stupid games when it comes to laser pointing at an aircraft before you know, anyone with especially that powerful of a laser. You guys struck the pilots, like I said, this is coming down from them. This is a zero tolerance when it comes to laser strikes with aircraft because of how serious and you know, it's it's common sense, actually. So, you're good. We were just testing this, you know, how high it was going, but Yeah, you can say goodbye real quick if you want to. Let him through. Yep. You guys make smarter choices. You're old enough to know better. All right. Have a good night. Can you go and step on out here? If you want to just stand right here for now. Come on here, just in a minute. On the way. Okay. So, they charged her with battery upon a peace officer and unlawful interference with the flight of an aircraft. And that second charge is no joke. If they decide to charge you at the federal level, you can be in prison for up to 20 years with a charge like this. Now, if she has a clean record, I highly doubt that she'll do any significant amount of time in prison. Maybe she might even get probation. Maybe the judge sees this and say, "You know what? She's young and dumb, and she was just pointing it, and it accidentally hit the helicopter." I personally think that she did it on purpose because what are the chances that it hits the officer right in the eye as he's flying the helicopter. So yeah, I think she did on purpose, but we'll see what the judge has to say about this. It just happened so we do not have an update on the case yet, but let's move on to the second video. We have a drunk Karen who drives away from the cops and leads them on a chase as she is completely plastered. Take a look at this. Is everything all right? Yeah. Okay. You were yelling at me. So the reason I stopped is because I saw you go up on the curb right by that high school. What's going on? Okay. How much have you had to drink tonight? Okay. I'm sorry. So who? My book. Your book? Sexual traffic. Yeah. Sexual traffic? Is Okay. So you're being trafficked? My Your two children are? Okay. What are their names? Okay. Okay. So let's let's start Okay. He left who is he? Your husband? Okay. Can I have your ID and insurance, please? Yeah, we have we have quite a few detectives. We have quite a few detectives. Who are you looking for? Who are you looking for? Do you have a driver's license? That is bad. Who I am. Oh, you're good. She She drove on the curb in of the school. Right in front of us. >> Yeah. You got the car ready? Good. You got the plate ready? Yeah, I got the plates. Can you roll down the window, please? No. That's the wrong window. Go ahead with the same thing, six please. Uh do you have your insurance? Ask him. Ask who? Ask him, my husband. Okay. I He's not here, so I need your insurance, please. What do you need to do? Ask him. Ma'am, I need your insurance. What do you need to get? All right. How familiar are you with the English language? I'm very familiar. Okay. What's your highest level of education? Ma'am. Married. Your highest level of education is married? Married. Married very what? Very high, very low? Bachelor's? Okay. Awesome. All right. So, can you do me a favor, please? Would you be able to recite the alphabet? Do you know the alphabet from A to Z? Can you recite the alphabet for me, please? Just a couple. Can you do it for me to W? A to W? That sounds way too difficult for her. She can probably not even do from A to C. She is completely plastered talking about all sorts of nonsense. At this point, I think it would be safe to drive her ass out of the car before something happens. >> A to W. Okay. How familiar are you with numbers? Can you count from 1 to 100? What was that? So, you're not going to count for me? All right, Linda. So, you mentioned something about trafficking. What's going on? Okay. Naperville? Detective Elliot from Naperville, okay. Can you catch me up to speed on the case because I can't access Naperville's records. Okay. Just give me a quick summary. Okay. Mhm. By who? Your ex-husband? Okay. Where is your daughter now? With him? Okay. And you were headed back to Which is? Okay, I'll be honest. I mean, you sound pretty intoxicated. You I can smell a strong odor of perfume like you're trying to cover up some alcohol. How much have you had to drink tonight? You came back from where, I'm sorry? Crafts? Crafts? Crafts? Crafts Brewing? It's a Crafts Brewing. Okay. Crafts Brewing? Okay, where where is Crafts? Oh, okay. Like a sip and paint kind of deal. Okay. How much did you have to drink there? Nothing. Like I literally I Well, now you're giving me two different answers. No, I'm not. So, how much have you had to drink tonight? Okay, what have you had to drink tonight? Linda, I'm going to have to ask you to step out of the car, okay? I'm going to have you do some uh field sobriety tests, okay? Linda, I'm going to have to ask you to step out of the car, please. Can you step out of the car, please? No, I'm not doing that. Linda, look, I got some concerns, okay? Okay. You're you're driving, you're hitting curbs, you're supposedly going to Villa Park, but you're going west when Villa Park's east. No, I'm not going In Villa Park? Yes. Okay. Well, Villa Park's that way. No. No, I'm not You're not driving until I can until I can run you through the field sobriety test and see that you're okay. If you're okay, look listen. I'll tell you what. You get out, your fields look good, you get back in your car, you drive home, and you're good to go, okay? Now, that's a pretty good strategy that the officer has here. He's putting the scenario out there that there's a chance that if she does these tests, she might be able to go home and pretend like none of this happened. He knows very well that it's not going to happen, but he's letting her believe that. Now, this could work with a normal suspect, but unfortunately, this Karen is way too far gone. I'm sorry. It's just this traffic, so I want to make sure you hear me. I'm sorry. I don't mean to yell. It's just I can hear you I can hear, you know, the traffic behind me, so I can't really hear you. But, if you get out of the car and do your field You All right. You You got to step out of the car. You got to step out of the car. Don't do it. Officers deployed a tire deflation device, but she drove right over it, speeding off into the night. I'm thinking so. I'm going to try to make contact one more time. Be ready to take off. Get out of the car. I'm out of the car now. Get out of the car. I'm going to rip you out of the car. Out of the car. Get out of the car. Get out of the car. Out of the car. Out of the car now. I got cuffs. 21-11 21-11 11-72 >> Yeah. Can you open up the channel? Oh, yeah. Sure you want to? Hold on. Yeah, step on out. We're going to search you real quick. Nope. Okay. Stay inside. I Yo, she's she's going to step outside. She's not going to listen. Okay. Come on out. Come on out. Come on out. You're so cool, by the way. I love how she's trying to belittle them saying you're so cool, by the way. Well, they look a lot cooler than you who is currently in handcuffs and is going to jail for multiple felonies. Not the brightest move you did there. You know what they say, never turn a misdemeanor into a full-blown felony. Shoes. All right, don't say sorry. All right, cool. Do you have anything that's going to poke, sever, hurt? No, I don't. Okay, can you please spread your feet apart? Spread your feet apart. Why are you moving? I'm going to sit. Stop moving. Don't Stop moving. What? There you go. Stop touching and stop reaching. You can read her rights to her now if you want. We established earlier that you understand English, so I'm going to read you something. I need a verbal >> to listen to you. I don't care. I need a verbal yes or no. you. All right, verbal yes or no? >> Okay. No. No. All right, before I ask you any questions, it's my duty to advise you of your constitutional rights. You have the right to remain being Do you understand? Linda, do you have the right to remain Put her in the car. Put her in the car. Oh my god. Exactly. Thank you. Sit up. Have a seat. Uh am I not heavy enough? Look down. She's got no valid Do you have insurance? I could tell by the way she was kind of ignoring him. I was like, "All right, let me get my stuff back." So, I put it by the register and I was like, "Yeah, let's put it in the front." And then sure enough he was like, "Ma'am, get out of the car. Get out of the car. Get out of the car." She rolled rolled the window up, put her arm in the window, and like pinched him. He was like, "Ow, this." And then she Well, then she put it in drive and went right over the stop sign. on St. Charles North Avenue She hit like another curb on St. Charles. Speed was like what? 40? 30 to 40. 30 to 40. Yeah, I'd say 45 max. Yeah. You got it, good. Those tires were going quick. Yeah, they were going to She was charged with DUI, battery on police officer, fleeing and eluding police, as well as resisting arrest. So, that's four charges with two of them being felonies. So, we have a real winner over here. Thank you so much for watching. Don't forget to subscribe and I'll see you guys on the next one.
