On February 21st, 2025, deputies responded to a report of a heated argument between a man and a woman. But what started as a disturbance call quickly turned into a confrontation over false identity and a trespass order. >> Sheriff's office. >> Yes, ma'am. Did you hear anything? >> Um, not since they went back in. >> Okay. But they was just arguing and all the clothes were gone out and then [clears throat] they both went back in and said, "I don't know what's going on." But she asked me to call the police and she asked me to use my phone before that >> and she called somebody and said for arrest and she has a warrant and she wanted to turn into I don't know what's going on. >> Okay. They got they got what? >> I have no idea about that. There's so many people that come in and out of that apartment. >> Okay. All right. Thank you. Hey, I'm sorry. >> So, were they um hitting each other or anything or was it just >> I didn't see them hit each other. Like, she was grabbing her and like forcing her to go back in the apartment. >> Okay. So, I mean, like I said, this is nuts. Ever since I moved in, it's a mess. They constantly have people come in hanging out the hallway yelling, hollering, all kinds of stuff. >> Okay. >> I don't know. It It He didn't seem He seemed very aggressive though. Okay. And you saw it through your people, I'm guessing, or the door knock somebody and then she did her thing and then came back the whole day. She didn't come back and open my door. I opened up the door cuz he was literally pushing her towards my door. >> So I opened up my door and she said, "Can you call the police?" And I said, "Do you need to come inside?" She said, "No, go call the police." >> Okay. >> So I said, "What?" >> What's her name again? >> I think it's Ila. That's what she said. >> Okay. All right. Do you know his number? >> Uh-uh. I don't I should be right. Like I said, there's so many I don't even know exactly who live there. >> Okay. No, you're you're fine. >> Right. Okay. >> Sheriff's office. >> We have a key. Come to the door. >> I'll get the key. >> Firearm. >> Sheriff's office. >> Hello. Anybody here? Come out. >> Are you >> Destiny? >> I'll be at >> Come out and talk to us. >> Who else is in here? >> Who else is in here? >> I just said it. >> Just that thing. >> Her boyfriend. >> There's no dude in here. >> Her boyfriend is back there. >> Okay, come out here with your hands up. >> Okay, sweet. You're going to knock on the door. >> You are trying to get evicted or what? >> No. >> Have a seat. I said all both of you have a seat. You guys don't listen to me. Come out of here, dude. Want you to come in there. >> Is there anyone else in here besides you three? >> Do what? >> What do you guys What's going on? Somebody called and said that you got drug in here by going to chat with them or stay in there. Let's open up your investigation, please. What do you want? >> So, we got called over here because somebody said that y'all were out in the hallway fighting and that you asked to call the police. You knocked on the neighbor's door, asked called the police, and then that you were brought back in here. >> No, I'm okay. What about you, dude? >> What about you? >> So, why why do we have people calling us saying that you guys were up here fighting and stuff going on here? >> Okay. >> Are you Destiny? >> Okay. >> So, nothing's going on. >> My sister, she got back. Y'all just literally woke me up. I was I was asleep and I didn't know nobody was knocking the door. I'm sorry. I didn't want y'all to wait out there for like 10 minutes. I'm sorry. >> But I was asleep, but no, I didn't. Nobody. >> Okay. >> So So why are we getting called for this? >> I have no idea. >> Who's Who lives here? Who's on the lease? >> Me. >> You're on the lease. So what are you doing here? >> That's my She's staying in the night for just >> Okay. So you've been asleep. And who's this dude to you? That's her boyfriend. >> Okay. So, why are we getting reports that he's putting his hands on you in the hallway? >> I don't know. He didn't put his hand on me. >> Okay. Even if he didn't, you guys out there arguing in the hallway? >> No. >> It's not against the law to argue. >> Yeah. But he didn't put his hand on me. >> So, it was No. Now, yes. So, were you guys arguing? >> Were you guys arguing out there? It's not against the law arguing. >> Yeah. >> Okay. So, you don't live here. He doesn't live here, right? No, no, no acts of violence occurred. He didn't put his hands on you. You didn't put your hands on him? >> Mhm. >> Okay. You have an ID on you? >> No. >> Regardless if you were sleeping or not, I literally opened the door and said hello and you're like, "Oh, here I am." Like you knew we were out there. >> No, we didn't. I was. >> Somebody did. >> I was I was creating people outside. We weren't any sleeping. >> You didn't You don't You don't go from fight in the hallway to asleep in flight. >> No, I was asleep. She was sleeping. I'm literally in my right now. What are you talking about? He's in the restaurant. >> I was in there with him. He's pooping. You're in there hanging out while he's pooping. >> He just at the same time. >> He just started the bathroom. Oh, >> Belf. All right. What's your birth mark? All right. Listen, you ain't in trouble. Will you just wrap it up and come down here and chat with us? I'm sure you heard the majority of what's going on here. >> All right. I ain't trying to ruin your poop. Just Just come out here. >> You want me to go start the trespass forms? in the allh. >> So you do you live in North? >> Yeah. >> Where do you live? >> What's that? >> You got to get at least you know a lot of If you're not going to trespass was telling these ladies, we were banging on the door. All people have to do is answer the door. Nobody in the store get the police offic. >> So why at the door? >> Because we got a call. >> That a guy pulled a girl back against the So part of the rules I hear from what I understand on the lease is that you have to cooperate with the police. If somebody would have answered the door, we would have spoken. >> We're okay. >> But that's all right. Anytime we come back, >> no, there's trespass notices get issued. There doesn't have to be a crime for there to be a trespass notice. >> Okay. So, will we have a sign paper or something? >> Uh, yeah. He'll bring it back up here in a minute. But if you're out in Northland in the future and you come into contact with the sheriff's house at all, it's automatic jail. There is no warning. It's automatic jail every time. >> Problem is, I mean, you have things She did stay awake. Can I see my is my on the phone? Is my phone like uh >> Yeah. Do you hear lights or anything on you? >> So we trespassed or whatever this is called? >> Mhm. >> And what does this mean? We just can't come back to Northland. >> Correct. >> This is crazy. I'm not even >> We didn't even do nothing. No, I'm not I'm not understanding why I'm getting trespassed. >> Well, obviously you did something otherwise you wouldn't be standing here talking to you. >> I didn't do anything though. [snorts] I don't even make sense. >> You don't know your social, Marcus. >> Oh, I don't know my social. >> When was the last time you had a state ID from that state? >> I don't think I've ever had a state ID. >> How long you lived in Ohio? >> What? 3 years now. >> What was your name again, >> ma'am? >> This Oh, me. >> Come out here with me. Yeah. You don't have a credit card in there anymore on it. >> No, I don't have any of my information on you. >> You guys no something like this can get you victed out of here. >> How long you stay here? >> Like 5 minutes. >> You ain't trying to move out already, are you? >> Especially in the middle of the winter. >> I'm not trying to I'm trying to eat my way back. That's what I want today. So, what I'm going to try to do if I can figure out who this dude is, cuz I know he's bullshitting me. I've been doing this a long time. You don't just not know your social when you're 25 years old. >> How old are you? >> 21. >> You know your social? >> Well, that's because I was taught by my dad that you have to I was taught when I was 17. Um I didn't know it until I was 17 and I was about to be 18. I was pregnant though. And um that's when I said to myself multiple times that I knew I probably needed it. >> Mhm. >> I never met someone older than not. No joke. I gave y'all my name on my birthday. I don't understand what's wrong. >> Well, it's not. We have to verify who you are. They're trespassing. We can't just trespass just give us We can't write down Tom J. Write down your I'm confused. >> It's not coming back to anybody's name. >> It's not coming back to anybody's name. What you mean? >> Like you have nothing with your name on it. Has it's saying like it's like you don't exist. I mean, I got a birth certificate. I got a a social security card. Where's all that stuff at uh at home? I get ner if it's probably if it ain't there. It's at my mom's house. I think my uh my birth certificate might be over there, but it's not there. Probably at my mom's house. I know my mom got my copies for show. I don't understand how I can get trespassed. I didn't do anything. So, anytime we there's a the sheriff's office has contract with with um the apartments. So, anytime we get called and there's like a negative contact um a trespasses in order. That's how they keep people from coming in cause problems. >> We didn't do anything now. >> Well, but the thing is we knocked on the door several times. Don't you guys come to the door? Everybody, but technically mostly we don't have to answer the door. That ain't no crime. >> Well, based on the circumstances today, we had to come in and check on everybody. We had to. We We yelled that we were going to get the key. We're going to come in here. All people do is open the door. We've been in here probably. >> Well, I'm our house. I can't open the door, man. >> Everybody open the door. >> Yeah. >> Work on this one for her. >> Okay. >> Just keep coming. We talking about you going to go to jail. It's a high chance. I didn't do nothing. I didn't lie about my name. I told you this. I told you the truth. Why do I have to watch for? I ain't did nothing. I don't have no warrants. I ain't no criminal. I ain't did [ __ ] I told you the honest truth, bro. This [ __ ] is like it's pissing me off, bro. Cuz I ain't even do nothing. And I ain't trying to like you you been cool, bro. I ain't like I ain't did nothing. I'm taking this [ __ ] when y'all get here. Like I don't got nothing on me. None of that [ __ ] Irated, bro. [ __ ] I got I got a brother who's in jail. Y'all can run. [ __ ] I didn't see there the other day. >> Huh? I work a lot of time down there. >> I'll take that. >> That's what I'm saying. Like that's my brother. Like I'm not lying about my name. I promise you. >> My name I'm not from here. I don't have no ID. Like I ain't did nothing. Like >> what would I do? >> What I do? I didn't go to jail. >> Yes. >> I didn't do nothing though, bro. Can you give me a chance to call somebody and prove myself? Your name? Jared. You've been lying to me this whole time. Jerry. Y my name is not your girlfriend even you out. >> Wow. You told me that you play forgot you had a real name. >> I'm going to have her sign this. Come here. Okay. This is just saying that you're trespassed for two years. Okay. So, you're going to sign here? >> You got shoes, brother. >> All right. Am I in trouble? >> I thought you got a warrant. >> Well, business trespassing already. >> The paint copy over Harrison 231. >> I got to get on the bus. That's what I'm saying. >> I'll give you a phone back. I got to be halfway down. You want me to turn it off so I don't die? >> I'm not going to lose it. Where am I going to go? >> So, you really about to take me to jail? >> Yeah. For >> 49 minutes. I've been trying to figure out who you are. Go with her. >> No, he didn't. His name's Jared. My name is Maris. That's my name. got mad at you. >> No, I've got two people in my car. So >> there's two people in my car. So >> you got a lightning. >> So what am I going to jail? Can you tell me what I'm going to jail for? >> Either obstruction or orientation on the >> Y. So I'm going to shut the door. Someone out. Stand right here and face this wall.
