This feels more like a training scenario than a real-life situation. I don't know if I agree more with the trooper or the guy driving the Jeep, but both make good points, so I'll let you decide. The trooper follows this Jeep and with the moving radar determines that our speeder is doing 72 in a 60 mph zone, but when she activates her lights, she doesn't get the response she was expecting at all. Where are we going at 70-something miles an hour still? Why are we still doing 70? As the suspect approaches the exit, he turns on his turn signal. Out of nowhere, he switches to his hazard lights and continues on the highway. He has a very specific place he's trying to go, but to the trooper, it looks like he's just leading her on a high-speed chase. Dude, don't make me fall 10-37 on this. Yeah. Adam 44, Little Rock, 10-37. Another vehicle pulls off into the shoulder lane, but the suspect's car keeps speeding along. If those cars can hear the sirens and pull over, you would think the suspect would do the same. Trooper Cass decides she needs to end this chase before someone gets hurt. Watch what she does next, but the really shocking part is what happens after the stop. I'm about to media. >> [screaming] [screaming] >> Show me your hands. Hands up. You got to stop. You can't keep driving. Get out of the car. Get out of the Keep your hands right there. Stand up. Stand up. Put your hands up there on the Don't move. Put your hands right there so I can see you. Put your hands behind your back. You want that job? Walk right over here. I completely understand the father's situation. Who wouldn't do everything to protect their kids? Watch what the trooper tells him though. Do you think he made the right choice? Did the trooper overreact? Why you just stop? I could have gotten you there a lot quicker and then not have to do all of this. All you had to do was pull over. We're close to the hospital, too. I could have pulled over and helped you get up there quicker. Now you've got a felony charge. Turn around. Sit down. Just slide in. Put your feet in. Slide back if you need to. There you go. Do you have your ID? Yes. Go ahead and open that door. Get this smoke out of here. Hey, sweeties. That guy was telling him, all you had to do was pull over. I didn't know. Yeah, but you can't just keep driving. If he just pulled over, I could have taken y'all up there. I could have escorted y'all. But now he's got a felony charge for fleeing. What? Yeah, it's a felony to not stop for us and continue speeding and breaking the law. If you want to get out, open this door so the smoke stuff can get out. Adam 44, Little Rock, I'm about to move in so we can at least have one middle lane. They're coming here. All right. Stay right there cuz you're in a way from traffic. I'm going to move my car over here so that cars can go around, okay? So nobody hits your car here. I'm going to leave this one cracked to get air. Hello, can everyone hear me? I'm going to move so we I'm blocking that lane. Which key is to this vehicle? This Jeep one here? Apparently, he had an allergic reaction, so I was just wondering if you could hurry and pass me. When something is driving, I had my lights way back at at like that. And we kept on I was like, "Yo, what are we doing? Stay in the right lane." But he wouldn't stop. There's nobody near me. You want to unbuckle him?
