- Law enforcement officers take an oath to respond to those in need of help. - That being said, not everyone calling 911 actually needs help. Sometimes they just want to cause some chaos. - Today we have Detective Dale to guide us through five cases where people call 911 for utterly ridiculous reasons, starting with this man. - Police respond to most 911 calls, including this one where a man called to complain that his d**g dealer stole his money without giving him d***s. - [Policeman] You guys were going to buy d***s? - No. - Yeah, yeah. Don't lie to this man. - Dispatch in Columbus, Ohio received this 911 call, which is likely one that they will never forget. - [Pierre] I just gave this guy $25 to buy me some, c*****l m**h and he ran in his house, didn't come out and I don't want to do nothing that's irrational. But either dude gonna gimme my money or something gonna happen, so. - [911 Respondent] What's the address and what's your name? - My name is. - [911 Respondent] I'm sorry, what was it? - The caller's willingness to disclose his name is basically him doubling down on his decision to call law enforcement over not getting the illegal d***s he was promised. It's nice to deal with honest suspects every once in a while. - So I said I really don't wanna do nothing. But when he said it was cheap, dude took my $25 and went in his green house on Dakota Avenue and didn't come out, so. - [911 Respondent] Okay, what he look like? - [Pierre] He's black. He has one of the blue Champion hoodie and he had on black pants and a black a book bag. Don't argue with these people. Don't argue with them. Don't argue with them. - Police arrived on the scene to get the full story. - [Policeman] Hey, what in tarnation is going on? So some someone robbed you? - Yeah. Black dude said that he know where to get some ice from and she said that she like to smoke. So, 'cause I'm trying to show her a good time I was gonna my pocket to get dude money and then the. - [Policeman] You guys were going to buy d***s? - No. -Yes. - Yeah, yeah. Don't lie to this man. Don't lie 'cause it'll be f****d up. Yes, I was trying to get her high so I can. - [Policeman] Oh, okay. - Flat out, there's no need to sugar coat whats going on. I tell her let me talk for a reason. And dude ran in his house, never came out. So dude took my $25 and we was on Sullivan and Cypress right here just sitting in a little benches right there that's in front of that little church building. And I don't know if there's cameras or what. But I'm just telling you dude ran off of with my money. And I'm not getting no p***y and I don't got no d***s for it, so I'm super pissed, flat out. - [Policeman] All right. - And that's what's really going on. - [Policeman] Well, I'm not gonna be able to get your money back. - Okay like that part's cool, but dude. - [Policeman] Okay, can you pul your hand out your pocket? - Oh, I'm sorry sir. - [Policeman] That's all right. - Wallet, chain. I'm sorry, I'll just show you. I don't have no weapons, I don't, I don't sir. No, I got go something here. I don't got weapons, I don't man. - [Policeman] Homeboy grabbed your money, ran in the house and then didn't come back. - And ditched, he took it and ran and didn't come out, so. Therefore at the end of the day, instead of doing some b******t, I said, I'm gonna stand here until the police come. I'm not scared of you, like I'm not scared like you stole my s**t and I don't care. Do what you gotta do, but I'm gonna call the police instead of do something crazy and we gonna get to the bottom of why you ran off with my s**t. - Guns down there. There's sitting around. - [Policeman] All right. Dude went in this house with my money, so he stopped me from getting p***y 'cause he ran off with my money to get her high, flat out. - [Policeman] Okay, well, I mean, you know we ain't gonna be able to help you get your money back or your d***s or anything like that. - I'm not trying to get money or d***s. I just want something to happen, man. Because at the end of the day is they stole my s**t Dude had a gun out and when I was going through my wallet to go through my money, he grabbed my money and ran. So at the end of the day, it's a robbery. It's like he's strong arm me with a gun. - [Policeman] Okay, you didn't mention anything about a gun. You said that he had a gun now. - Yeah, so the gun was on his hip. The guy didn't just say gimme your money. The guy had his gun shown. He was like, oh, grabbed money and took off. - [Policeman] But did he threaten you at all with the gun? Or did he just, he just had it out. - He had the gun out on his hip. He snatched my money, I seen. - [Policeman] Was it on a holster or in his waistband? - It was just in his waistband it wasn't in a holster. - [Policeman] Just in his waistband. - Yeah, it wasn't in a holster. - [Policeman] All right, so he told you that he knew where to get ice and you were like, that sounds cool. I'm about to do that. - Flat out. - [Policeman] And you pulled out money and he. - Grabbed and ran away. - [Policeman] Had his gun in his waistband. - Like this, like. - [Policeman] And then grabbed it and ran in here. - Ran in his house. So I told him I'm not leaving until. - [Policeman] He didn't make any threats though? He didn't pull it out he didn't fire any gunshots off or point it at you, nothing like that? - No - Jokes aside, Pierre is every cop's dream. He is honest, non-combat and respectful. That being said, the cops are obviously unable to get his money back since it was stolen during an illegal transaction. However, if an armed robbery took place, meaning, the suspect pulled a weapon before stealing Pierre's money, law enforcement may have caused to arrest the person who robbed Pierre, regardless of the circumstances. - She's mad 'cause she ain't got her d***s. I'm just saying, I was trying to get some p***y. - [Policeman] That makes sense. - I mean, just keeping it real. I mean, like, that's why I said just let me talk because the truth means I don't gotta make nothing up. I can just tell her how it is. - [Policeman] Okay. - You know, so just tell them that or I was trying to get her high. So why don't we just keep it real? - [Policeman] All right, yeah. Well, yeah, I mean, he may have had a gun on him, you said he didn't point at you, didn't make any threats. - No, but then that's what I'm saying is. - [Policeman] He just said, I know where you can get some ice and you were like, okay, that sounds cool. - Yes, dude. - [Policeman] And you had money out, he grabbed it and ran off. - Dude ran my money, so at the end of the. - [Policeman] Okay, it is a theft, absolutely it is. - I don't wanna do nothing stupid, man. I'm not gonna lie. - [Policeman] How much money was it? - $25 man, it was 20 and a five. - [Policeman] A 20 and a five. What does this gentleman look like? - Black guy, he had on a blue Champion hoodie. He had on a black satchel like mine, like a little mini book bag. And he had on black pants. And that's what I noticed. - [Policeman] Okay. How old does he look? - He looked about in his early thirties. Like I'm in early thirties, so he had that look. - [Policeman] Height, weight on him. - Yeah, he looked about a buck 50, about five, 10. - [Policeman] All right, I'm gonna go try and make contact with these guys here. You just hang out here for a minute, okay. - The officer heads to the house Pierre claims the thief ran into. - Is it just you and your brother in here? - And he's MRDD, so he ain't lying, causing trouble for anybody. He said nobody came running in here recently either. - [Policeman] All right. - I don't know if they, did they say they've been staying here the whole time or did they go walking? - [Policeman] They down the street, she's a 49. He's trying to get her d***s for 49 activity. And it's kind of fun 'cause he just flat out says it. - It's not this block, I don't think they come to my door and hollering something about ice, ice, ice. Pulled it all. Maybe that's what they want. Because there was a trap house with. - But that's my garage. I mean, you guys can look there. - [Policeman] All right, there's nobody else in the house? - Yeah, I got my brother in there. - [Policeman] Just your brother. You mind if I just poke my head in there and say hi? Is he all right? What's his name? - His girlfriend's here. - Eric's my brother right here. This is my brother. - [Policeman] Hello, we might have a, I don't know these people here probably on some d***s. - I think they don't go for something, something wrong. - [Policeman] But they said someone run in the house and. - [Eric] That's a lie. My door's been locked all morning, I've been here. - [Policeman] You guys are the only ones that live here? - [Eric] The only one that lives here in my house. - [Policeman] Just you live here and him? - [Eric] Yeah. - [Brother] Yeah, me and my brother. - [Policeman] You and your brother. All right, nobody else lives upstairs or downstairs? - [Eric] No, no. I mean we got my buddy's girlfriend's here, but. - [Brother] Pat. - [Girlfriend] I'm right here. - [Policeman] That's okay. It could be a bit of a misunderstanding. - [Eric] Something's gotta be wrong, coach. - [Policeman] He said he is seen someone run into here and there ain't no one in here that matches the description, so. - [Eric] That didn't happen here, I've been here all morning sir. - [Policeman] All right, I appreciate it. - [Eric] If something happens, I sure be one to tell you guys, you hear. - [Policeman] All right, I appreciate it. - [Eric] Ain't no problem. - [Policeman] Are you positive it was that house 'cause I was just sitting there, walked around. There was nobody in there match that description. These guys, there's two old guys that live there and they said they ain't had anyone run into their house. - I know, man, but that's. - [Policeman] Was it a house nearby? Maybe you thought it was that one 'cause it down the alley, I mean. - Now, trust me is I was on Sullivan Cypress, so you can really take this alley and cut through a parking lot or that little building thing. It's a church right here in the parking lot. I just cut through the parking lot and watch the dude. I watched him as clear as day. - [Policeman] Okay, well, like I said, I was in there, there was two old guys and I guess his buddy's girlfriend was in there. So those were the only people in that house. So I'll take down your info. All right, I'll get you a report number and whatnot. - [Pierre] Thank you, man. - [Policeman] And where do you stay at? - [Pierre] I live at that shelter. - [Policeman] Van Buuren? - [Pierre] Yes sir. - [Policeman] Okay. - [Pierre] Honestly. - [Policeman] Well, maybe, I know it's kind of a silly thing to say, but probably ixnay on the ugdrays there for a while. All right, maybe find a way to attract women that don't need acquired such a taste. - I know. - [Policeman] Try to find better places to hang out too 'cause don't need someone out here. (Pierre laughing) 49 doing 49 stuff. - Yes, I love these hoes. All right, sorry. - [Policeman] Don't yeah, leave them alone too. They're gonna get you. - I know, man. Thank you man. - [Policeman] They can get you some kind of disease that you can't shake off. - [Pierre] Thank you. - Pierre received no charges related to this incident because no d***s were actually exchanged following the transaction. The most he could be charged with is d***g conspiracy, which is often difficult to prosecute. Hopefully Pierre will really consider the advice this officer gave him. The next man on our list certainly doesn't. - [Policeman] I'm not trying to be rude, but I've been doing this a long time and you're flat out lying to me. And honestly, I'm just getting more and more upset with you. - It's not often that police get two very different calls relating to the same incident. But 2018 police in Albuquerque received a 911 call from a man who was the victim of a hit and run accident. Around the same time they received a call from a drunk man claiming that his car was stolen. And something wasn't quite lining up, despite the suspect's cries to his mom. - I haven't f*****g done anything, mama. - Late into the night an officer responded to the victim whose car had been struck in a hit and run. - [Policeman] What in the heck happened? - I was just driving man and like outta nowhere I felt something hit my car and like I just started swinging across these lanes from like back there. And like I was screaming in the car like outta the part. And then that car pulled up like about a hundred seat and like I got outta my car and I was like, what the hell? And like they literally just got outta the car and started running south. - [Policeman] Okay. - And I called my dad and my phone had died, but actually outta his way. But literally outta nowhere I just fell someone hit my car. - [Policeman] No, they hit you from behind. All right, let's go figure out who this is. It's probably stolen, knowing my luck. Probably drunk or somebody was in the rocks. Okay. - The officer stated that the car was probably stolen by a drunk driver. Now that he's gotten information that the car's been reported stolen, he opens the door and realizes this may not be as straightforward as it looks. In other words, something stinks. - [Policeman] Ooh, smoking a little weed. It's not stolen. The guy lives right up the street. He just called right now to report his vehicle stolen. So what does this guy look like? - I don't even know. - [Policeman] Okay. Yeah, I know. Yep. And then the pipe's down near the gas pedal. Yeah, there's the grinder. Okay, there's my PSA, he's gonna hang out with you for a second. I'm gonna go over to this guy's apartment and talk to him about his stolen car. What's going on? - Okay, so are you here for the stolen vehicle? - [Policeman] Yes sir. - Yeah, okay, gimme one sec. I'm meeting with the officer right now. Okay, thank you, by bye. So I was over at my friend's house over here. - [Policeman] Okay. At these apartments? - Yeah. - [Policeman] Okay. - And I came out to my a car. - [Policeman] Okay. - Because I don't have my cigarette with me and my car was gone. - [Policeman] Okay. - Then when I called the vehicle department, they told me there had been an accident. So it's somewhere right around here. - [Policeman] Okay. All right, okay do you have an ID on you sir? - Yes. - [Policeman] I'll be brutally honest with you, they saw you run from the car that you crashed. - Okay. - [Policeman] So cut the s**t. What happened? - I've been at my friend's house. I've been drinking, I'll be honest with that, okay. But I came out to my car to get some cigarettes and my car was gone. - [Policeman] You sure? - Yeah. - [Policeman] I'm not trying to be rude, but I've been doing this a long time and you're flat out lying to me. And honestly, I'm just getting more and more upset with you. - I'm not lying to you, officer. - [Policeman] Which means I'm just gonna add more charges for filing a false police report, which is a felony by the way. So do you understand, do you want a felony? - No. - [Policeman] Or do you want a DWI? Because you're gonna get a DWI no matter what. It's just a matter of if you're gonna be honest with me because I know you're lying to me. - I'm being honest with you officer. - [Policeman] The guy you hit. - I didn't hit anybody. - [Policeman] Okay. - I haven't been driving tonight. - [Policeman] Okay. The guy just looks just like you wearing the same clothing. And if I pull the DNA off the steering wheel and everything else, it's gonna have. Dude really? Not to mention I can pull the cameras from the intersection right up there. Are you sure you want to go this route? Because once I do it, I'm just gonna book you, you understand that, for filing a false police report. So you wanna start all over again or you want to keep going this way? - I have not lied to you once, officer. - [Policeman] Whenever you're ready. - It's clear this officer's patience has already run out. Unfortunately for him, the suspect just wants to dig a deeper hole. - [Policeman] I'm only gonna give you one chance. I already know what happened. You do whatever you want to do it's your life. How do you wanna do it? - I'm telling you, I've not done anything tonight. - [Policeman] Okay. Can you tell I don't believe you? - I don't care what if you believe me or not. - [Policeman] Okay. All right, well let's get one thing straight from my report, where was your vehicle parked when it was stolen? - Right over there. - [Policeman] Which is? - About three spaces down. - [Policeman] Three spaces down. Okay. And who do you think took it? - I have no idea. - [Policeman] Okay, where are your keys at? - In the car. - [Policeman] You always park your car with the keys in it? - No. - [Policeman] Okay, because the keys are still in the car. - Yeah, I know they're still in the car. - [Policeman] Right, because when you. - I'm not saying anyone stole my car. - [Policeman] When you left them in there, okay. - They didn't hot wire the car. - [Policeman] Okay. - I made stupid mistake. I drove my car to my friend's house. I left the keys in the car. - [Policeman] Okay. I'm just waiting for the other officer to get here so we can get this started. There's gonna be another officer showing up here. He's a DWI cop. He's gonna be talking to you and giving you some tests to determine if you're impaired by the alcohol that you've consumed this evening, okay. Just to confirm, you want to report your vehicle stolen? - [Alex] Can I answer my phone? - [Policeman] Might as well get it over now. - Soon after the suspect makes a call, his mother arrives on the scene. - [Policeman] Hi. - I'm Alex mom. - [Policeman] Yes ma'am. Okay, here's the deal, he crashed into the back of a car, he ran and then he tried to call 911 almost a matter of three minutes after the crash saying his vehicle had been stolen, but he knew that it had been in a crash. The person that he hit is right over there and well, they basically watched him run over here. - Well, where is his car? - [Policeman] It's right over there in the middle of Comanche. - Oh. - [Policeman] Yeah. He's told me this elaborate story about a friend that lives in these apartments basically. And then when he came out that his vehicle was missing, but yet he called us a matter of minutes later and you could actually hear the, well, the 911 tape, we're gonna pull it, but basically it's him out of breath from running away from there. And he called us literally 60 plus seconds after the crash. But yet somehow he knew that his car was in a crash when he was reporting it. You see what I'm saying? It's kind of obvious that he's lying to us. The only problem with that is that he's trying to falsely report his vehicle stolen, which in itself is a crime also. So I'm trying to save him the trouble. I'm trying to be honest. But it looks like I'm gonna have to book him on the other charge also. This is officer here is here to do the DWI investigation. So if you would interfere with that then we'll go from there. - I could take a breathalyzer. - [Policeman] I really just don't wanna argue with him and I don't wanna get lied to you. I've been doing this way too long. - I do not want to take a breathalyzer. Okay. - [Policeman] It is what it is. We've all been young, we've done stupid stuff before, but. - Mom. - [Policeman] Sir. - Is this this gonna happen right now? - [Policeman] Yes, this is what's gonna happen right now. - Mom. - Alex, Alex. Can I talk with him for just one second. - [Policeman] No ma'am, I'm sorry. - [Alex Mom] Alex. - He's made his decisions tonight. - [Policeman] Okay, so one more time. You wanna report your vehicle stolen? - Honesty is the most important thing that you do right now, honey. And if he agrees to go with you, can he not have the. - He's not really. - [Policeman] He doesn't have a choice. - Doesn't have a choice. - [Policeman] He's under arrest right now for DWI. And I'm gonna have to book him for filing a false police report too. - Can we? - [Policeman] That's up to you. If he wants to be honest, that's one thing. But I have to do my job and if someone commits a crime, I have to charge them with it. And he's committing an additional crime on top of the DWI and leaving the scene of an accident, possession of d**g paraphernalia. There's the pipe, the torch, the m********a, the grinder. - What pipe? - Everything that's in the vehicle. Please don't lie to me. I've had enough of your crap, straight up. - Was I in the car? - [Policeman] Oh my God. - Alex come one. - [Policeman] All alright, ma'am. - Let's take a walk over to that car over there. - [Policeman] All right, so we're gonna load you into this vehicle over here, okay. - Can I give you a hug? - Wait, wait, wait. - [Policeman] You can give him a hug. - Can I just hug him? - I haven't f*****g done anything. Mom. I haven't f*****g done anything. Mama. - Okay, all right ma'am, thank you. - Appreciate it. Let's put him in the car. - I'll talk to you tomorrow, Alex. - In New Mexico, making a false police report is a misdemeanor, but charges can be stacked on top of it if your lie results in an innocent person being jailed. - Take the truck and I'll give you. - No, no. - Alex. Are there things that I can take of his or do you have? - [Policeman] If he would like for you to have all of his property and we can do that. Do you want her to have all your property? - Yes, sir. - [Policeman] Okay. - But what I wanna ask is. - [Policeman] Look, I'm trying to be really, really cool with you, but unfortunately I just really don't like getting lied to directly to my face. Especially when everything is so cut and dried. Do you understand? - Come talk to you right here. - [Policeman] And you're really, really young and I get it. I mean, I look young, but I'm old. - Put your legs in for me, then you can talk to this officer here. - [Policeman] Look, I'm the one that has to do the other report, okay. I'm trying to do you a favor by not charging you with filing a false police report, do you understand? I get it when people are young, they do dumb stuff and they make mistakes. But it's really obvious what happened here tonight. And you keep telling me the same story and we all know that you're lying to me, okay. So you're already in enough trouble, okay. I'm trying to give you every opportunity to not screw yourself and get more charges. Do you understand? Okay. It's just that simple. - Okay. - [Policeman] I mean, I don't know. How do you wanna handle it? Okay, I'll do the paperwork. - [Alex Mom] I think he's trying to talk it, think it through, just give him a second. - I f****d up. - [Policeman] I know. I'm trying to minimize how much trouble you're in here. I get it. - [Alex Mom] So what you're saying is that if he fesses up that. - I'm not gonna charge him with it, I don't, he's in enough trouble as it is. You can go look at the car if you like, ma'am. I mean, luckily nobody's hurt. - He's saying that it's not gonna charge you this filing as false report for your car being stolen. You said that it was messed stuff. - [Policeman] I mean, it's okay. I can't put words in your mouth. It is what it is, man. - [Alex Mom] Are you okay, honey? You're really sweating a lot. Are you feeling okay? - I'm so f*****g nervous though. - [Alex Mom] I understand, that's okay. I just wanna make sure you're physically okay before we head out. What? - [Policeman] This is normal them getting nervous. I added the plate to the other call. So I'm gonna clear if you wanna change this 277 to a 47. - Oh, I just completely logged down seconds. - [Policeman] Oh, it's fine, I'll just put it. - So for the phone, obviously I didn't know but just call Brisban, I'll notated on the report that when I placed the phone on my car it slid off, it cracked. - [Policeman] They'll pay for his phone. - They'll reimburse you either way. So if you go and get it fixed, just bring the receipts then they'll reverse and tick them off. I apologize, it sucks. It happens but that's why we it replaced to deal with that. - Alex, what's your work schedule tomorrow? - I work through five. - What? - I worked through five. - Okay, so what's the usual procedure for? - [Policeman] A typical process for a first DWI, it's a first. He'll probably be out sometime around like lunchtime I would say. - Maybe start looking for a certain sobriety. - So what do I need to? - [Policeman] He's gonna be calling you in a few hours basically. - This officer has gone above and beyond to help the suspect who has done all he can to just make things worse for himself. - [Policeman] We can go over there. I'm actually fixing to drive back over there if you wanna go take a look at it. It's not drivable at all. The passenger side front tire is completely torn off the frame. All the suspension's been torn off and. - So. - [Policeman] It's two vehicles. He basically three blocks down from the arroyo he rear ended another car and then he went into the median and the other vehicle went up the curb to the right and then they both stopped. He tried to drive away, but his car gave out and then he got out and ran over here. - The man's charges are unknown. But a DWI conviction in New Mexico can result in a license suspension of up to a year, up to 90 days in jail and up to a $500 fine. Fortunately, this suspect didn't put up a huge fight. But the same can't be said of Matthew Donaldson who claims to be a mob boss. - I can't breath, help me! - We're here to help you out. - No, you're not, you’re f*****g killing me! - Matthew Donaldson of Monroe County, Florida called law enforcement dozens of times for a number of reasons, to place food orders, demand transportation and harass dispatch. Finally, law enforcement had enough of this misuse of 911. - [Policeman] Get on your stomach, do it now. You're gonna get tased, get on your stomach now. - After repeatedly warning Donaldson that he would be arrested if his behavior continued. Well, the behavior continued. Law enforcement descended on his house to arrest him. - I have to take away thing you own. You didn't listen, did you? Put your hands behind your back? Hands behind your back now. Hands behind your back now. Hands behind your back now. Put your hands behind your back. - Read that paper and you d**d. Read that paper. - Get his legs, sweep his legs. - Your family' d**d. I'm the godfather. - Stop. - You're d**d. - [Policeman] Get your your stomach. Get on your stomach, do it now. You gonna get tased, get on your stomach now. Get on your stomach now. - Your whole family's d**d. - Get on your stomach. On your stomach now. On your stomach now. On your stomach now. On your stomach now. - Your whole family's d**d. - Get your taser out. On your stomach now. - I'm the godfather, you dumb. Help. - [Policeman] On your stomach right now. Put your hands behind your back, do it now. Put your hands behind your back. Put it behind your back, do it now. Hands behind your back, do it now. - I can't, you broke me. I'm the godfather. - Hands behind your back. - Cheers guys for that, I'm the godfather. My father k****d JFK and RFK. I have a picture and now listen, you're d**d. I have a picture. - You can release here. - You d**d. Get up. - I can't. - Get up. - [Policeman] Leave him on the ground. - It seems this man is in a state of psychosis. Often psychosis is accompanied by beliefs that you are either connected to or being hunted by people of immense power. While it's fair to say the man isn't aware of what he's doing, police were within their legal right to tase him after he approached the officers with aggression and threatened them repeatedly. - I'm the godfather, you can't kill me. I'm the godfather, you dumb. - [Policeman] All right, now you're going to jail for a three counts of resisting, misuse of 911, harassment and battering, at least me. Either of you guys kicked? - He kicked you for sure. You d**d. You know what happened to JFK. - They're on the front somewhere, I think. - Just leave it. - You not listening. - We're gonna need a. - You're not listening. He's told me I'm gonna die. So I just turned on my fan to tie dye. - [Police Officer] Okay. - So - [Police Officer] All right, yeah, he's going to jail. - And I know he's threatened all three of you. Regardless, paramedics must have him assist and it's safer to do so at the hospital. Although getting him there won't be easy. - Then we got some kicks like everywhere else though. - But he obviously saying he can't breathe, there's problems so we're gonna transfer him to the hospital just to get checked out. - Can possibly follow us or? - [Policeman] We're gonna have one in there with you 'cause he's. - [Medic] Yeah, yeah, just incase yeah. Are you listening? I have no feeling in this hand, please. I can't feel my hand. - I can't, we gotta unload him, otherwise we won't be able to do it. Let's try unloading him first and then we'll deal with it as it comes down. - I can't feel my hand. Help me please. I cannot feel my hand. I can't feel my hand, you're breaking me, you're breaking up. - Paul, get over here, what you doing? - After successfully getting him into the hospital for an evaluation, law enforcement has to get him in a cop car to be transported to jail for battery of an officer that goes about as well as you'd expect. - Oh, that's not gonna work very well. Can you lift this side? - Help, you breaking my freaking wrist. You're breaking my wrist. - Stop. - You breaking my wrist, my elbows, my arms. Why? Why are you taking me? Help me. Otherwise you're just gonna be laying down in here. - I can't breathe, help. - Are you trying to sit him down or? - Yes, sir. - Oh, okay. - Okay stop, I can't breathe, stop, stop. I can't breathe. I can't breathe. - I'm just gonna leave the hobble back here he's kind of cramped up. - Donaldson was arrested for battery of a law enforcement officer, misuse of 911 and resisting arrest. The case was soon dropped after Donaldson was deemed unfit to stand trial. - Perhaps the only thing worse than calling 911 for stupid reasons is pretending that you've never called 911 at all like the next person on our list. - No, I don't like anybody who treats me like this. - You're fine. - Who are you? a woman called 911 dispatch in La Crosse, Wisconsin to complain about a cleaning company she had hired. Because the company did nothing illegal, she was told there was nothing dispatch could do. In response, she called 911 six separate times, hurling insults, threats, and vulgar language at the operators. Little did she know karma would soon be on route toward her house. - What's going on today? - Why don't you just get a life? - Okay, so hold on a second. You wanted to talk to me, didn't you? - No. I wanted. - Hold on, hold on, hold on, hold on. Come here. - Shut up. - Come here, come here, come here, come. Put your cat in the house. You're gonna be placed under arrest tonight, okay. - Why? - Step down. Thank you. Put your hand on your back. - Put your hands behind your back. - You're evil. - You're gonna be placed under arrest tonight, okay, For disorderly conduct by phone. - What? - And for calling 911 multiple times without. - What? - Let go of handcuffs. - Can you please let go. - Let go of handcuffs. - Let go, let go. - Who are you? - Please let go. - Let go of the handcuffs. - Just let go. - Who are you? - Can you let go, please. - I'm just trying to help. I don't like anybody who treats me like this. - You're fine. - Who are you? Who are you? - We are the police department, okay. - You are not the police. - So please let go. - Stop. - Let go or you gonna get tased. - You already tased me. Look at my neck. You. Look at my neck, I have seven, seven, seven, I have seven scars from you a******s. I hate you. - [Policeman] Are you okay? - Am I okay? - [Policeman] Yeah. - No, I'm. - [Policeman] Are you physically okay? - Yes. - Okay, so listen, you are gonna go to jail tonight, okay. - No, I'm not. - [Policeman] You are. - No, I'm not. - [Policeman] So that's what we're doing. - [Policeman] All right, we'll gonna help you up, okay. - [Policeman] So time out, before we. - You know why you're doing this? Because you're are helping people to get children out there and help them. - [Policeman] Do you need anything out of your house? - To use them as. - [Policeman] Do you want a phone or a wallet out the house? - [Policeman] Do you need something outta your house? You want keys out the house? - [Policeman] What can I get for you outta your house? Otherwise, I'm just gonna lock it. I know you probably need keys and stuff. Do you need something outta your house? I want you to respond so you can get your stuff or I can get your stuff because I don't want you to not have your things. So I think we got your phone, maybe. Have we got her phone? - Yeah, it's over there. - [Policeman] Okay, so we got your phone. - Who are you? - Police department. - [Policeman] Do you need your keys and stuff out of the house? - Who are you? - I'm Danny Madujana, we talked on the phone several times today. - You're evil. - Okay. - [Policeman] Do you want anything outta the house or no? - My cat. - Well, your cat can't come with you to jail. You put your cat in your house so that's good. - Get me out of these cuffs. - I can't, unfortunately. - You know why? - Do you want me to shut your door? - Because you're all there for. - Hey, I'm gonna give you one last chance and we're gonna go, do you want anything outta your house? - Yes. - [Policeman] What would you like? You can have your. - I need to be in there. - [Policeman] You can't go in there. - Yes, I can. - [Policeman] You can't. - What did I do wrong? - [Policeman] Okay, so we're just gonna go. - What did I do wrong? - [Policeman] We're gonna go. - For starters, this woman misused 911, which is a misdemeanor and resisted arrest, which is yet another misdemeanor. - You're so evil. - [Policeman] Watch this step. We need you to walk, okay. - My cat, my cat. - Ready, yep. - I hate you. I hate you. - Okay, have a seat. - No, no, no. - Take a seat. - You gotta get in, okay. Oh my God, you are evil. You're f*****g evil. Oh my God. - Let's go, get in here. You gotta get in. - Oh my God, he's so f*****g evil. - Get in the car. - Why don't you help me. - I am trying to tell you to get in the car. - Help me. - I can't. - You know why you can't? - Right now you're under arrest, okay. So please get in the vehicle. - For what? - [Policeman] Take a seat for us. - For what? - [Policeman] For calling 911 too many times. And unlawful use of a telephone too. - Oh my God. - Three, two, one. - Get in the car. We need you to get in the car. - No. - All right, get your legs here. - No. You are evil. You're f*****g evil. Oh my God, you f*****g evil. - During the investigation, it was revealed that just a week prior to this incident, the same woman had called 911 21 times in a single night. Law enforcement reported to her house where they offered her counseling and addiction services, but she declined these offers. She was charged with two counts of false emergency calls and disorderly conduct. She was released on a thousand dollars bond. A month later, her case was dismissed by the prosecutor. The last person on our list not only attacked law enforcement but her own flesh and blood. - [Rachel] I didn't do anything. - Stop. - [Rachel] No, no. - On Christmas in 2022, emergency dispatchers received a call from a woman who oddly enough asked if it was safe for her to walk home in the cold. When officers arrived to speak with the suspect, Rachel, they witnessed her throw a box at her child's head. Very quickly they were off to an interesting start. - That's my person. - [Police Officer] Let's talk. - I have a ride. - Let's talk. - Well, I have a ride. - [Police Officer] I know, let's talk. What? What's up? - Is this Brian? - Yeah, yeah. I just called him, I needed a ride. - [Policeman] So what's going on? No, come here and talk with me real quick. - Well, if you guys like just discharged me from the hospital. And so I'm walking home. I couldn't get in touch with him right away. - [Policeman] Okay. But you had called 911. - Because I didn't know how I was getting home until I reached him. So now I'm getting home. - [Policeman] Hold on one second, okay. - Why? - All right, come here, Rachel. Rachel, come here real quick, okay. Why? - [Policeman] Come up here against, go ahead and turn around for me. Go ahead and place your hands behind your back, okay, turn around. - Whoa, whoa, whoa. - [Policeman] Turn around. - Whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa. - Can I take you home? - Based on what? You just released me from the hospital, okay. - [Policeman] Rachel. - Just a moment ago. - [Policeman] Turn around for me. - Based on what? - [Policeman] I will explain that. - Tell me before I turn. I'm not gonna turn around for you. Why? - [Policeman] Okay. - I was in the hospital, I just was released. - [Policeman] We witnessed you throw that box at your daughter, okay and hit her in the face with it. So go ahead and turn around for me. - Brian. - [Policeman] Turn around. - [Brian] Why can't she just come home? - Just stop. - [Policeman] Rachel. - Rachel, you need to listen, okay. - Okay, I'm listening. But what are you basing this on? - [Policeman] On hitting your child with a box. - I don't hit my kid with a box, talk to her. - [Policeman] We watched you throw the box at her and hit her in the face with it, okay. - Brian, what's the deal? You guys. - [Policeman] Okay. - Is this legal? - [Policeman] Yes, turn around. Turn, Rachel. - Stop. - Rachel, Rachel, stop, please. Don't make this difficult. - What, what, what, can you let go with me? - Rachel, don't add charges. - I have to work in the morning, I'm walking home. - Rachel, don't add charges. - Okay. - Okay, so listen. - Yes. - Okay, turn around. - Why? - Because you are under arrest. - [Policeman] Yes. - Why, I'm under arrest? - [Policeman] Yeah, you're under arrest. - Why, why? - Stop man. - [Policeman] From hitting your child with a box. - My child hit me in the face and Brian with. - [Policeman] Okay, listen, listen, I'm not gonna argue with you right now, okay. I need you to turn around for me. - Don't arrest me. I just called you guys for help. - [Policeman] Listen. - I just called you for help. I'm walking home. I need to be with my kids. I don't hit my children. Please don't take it that way. I've just been in the hospital under your guys direction. You know, can we please not do this? - [Policeman] No, we are going to be doing this, okay. - Why, why, why? - [Policeman] I've explained it to you now and I need you to turn around. - Brian. - Guys, was released by the hospital? - [Policeman] Yes. - Okay. - [Policeman] Do not pull or resist, okay. - I'm not. I just need to talk to you about why. - [Policeman] Okay. - You're bringing something up from like hours ago. - [Policeman] Yes. - Okay. And did Chloe say my mom is throwing a box of tampons on me? Come on, man. - [Policeman] We watched you. Do not resist. Just turn around for me and put your hands behind your back. - Don't f*****g arrest me. - Telling police not to arrest you will not keep them from arresting you no matter how many times you say it. - [Policeman] I am trying to be nice right now. - Why, why are you arresting me? I'm walking home. - [Policeman] Rachel, turn around for me, okay. - Brian. - [Policeman] Do not resist. - I won't. Why are you being such an a*****e. - [Policeman] Okay, then I need you to. - I'm walking home. - I need you to turn around for me, okay. - Rachel, stop resisting, Rachel. - What am I doing? - Stop, Rachel. You're resisting. Stop. - What? - Rachel, stop. - [Rachel] What did I do? - You resisting. - I threw a box of tampons at my kid. - [Brian] Goddamn you going to jail because you resisting. - [Rachel] And my kid punched him in the face. Did you not witness that? - [Policeman] Rachel? - [Rachel] Did you witness my kid punch him in the face? - [Policeman] No. - [Rachel] Did you witness her punch me in the face? - [Policeman] Rachel, stop tensing. - [Rachel] What did I do? I threw a box. - [Brian] Don't add charges Rachel. - And what? - Rachel, don't advance the charges, please. - Rachel, we're trying to make this easy right now, okay. - What are you making easy? You're just like trying to like glorify. - [Brian Oh my God, Rachel, calm the down please. - [Policeman] Okay, let go of your hands. - Should I have just not called them and said I was walking home? - [Brian] You should not have called them. You should have called me. - Is that what I? - But you did. - Yeah, I did because I was looking for help. - And we are here now. - And how are you helping? - [Brian] Oh my god. - Are you helping? - [Brian] Why did you call them when you needed to call me? - Are you helping? - Rachel, you need to listen. - How are you helping? - [Brian] Please, let me take her home. - You have an arrestable offense that we witnessed, so you're going to jail, okay. - No. - Don't make it worse. - [Policeman] Yeah, don't make it worse. Don't make it worse. - I didn't do anything. - Stop. - No, no. She's my kid, stop. - [Policeman] Rachel, stop. - I didn't do anything. - [Policeman] Stop. - [Brian] Will you please stop, Rachel? - I didn't do anything. I didn't do anything, you talking about a box of tampons. - Stop Rachel. - [Brian] You're dealing with somebody with mental illness who doesn't need this. - With Rachel detained the officers speak with Brian, the man that Rachel called to pick her up after she called 911. - [Brian] She called you? - [Policeman] She called 911 asking to make sure if it was safe for her to walk home. - [Brian] It's not safe for her to walk home. It's 20 degrees out, it's not safe. I need her back. - [Policeman] Okay. - [Rachel] Right and what you're doing right now is seriously f*****g up my family even more when we were really trying very hard to work things out in a difficult time. So I want you to think about what you're doing. This is ridiculous. I just need to go home and be with my kids. I've been in a hospital because of you, and I need to go home and be with my kids because they've had a difficult time and tomorrow's Christmas. I'm trying to walk home. I just called for some help to get home because I didn't have my car at the hospital, obviously. You know, like, I didn't like earlier. Come on, just give me a break. - [Policeman] Just stay there for me, okay. - [Rachel] What? - [Policeman] Just hang out there for a minute, okay. - [Policeman] Did you know how to turn off her phone? - [Policeman] Yeah, I don't know. - [Policeman] I don't know iPhones. - [Rachel] Let me go. - [Policeman] She's calmer than what she was. - [Rachel] Please just lemme go home and be with my kids. - [Policeman] This is gonna go with you, okay. - [Rachel] What? - [Policeman] It's turned off. - [Rachel] Why you arresting me? You don't need that like come on. - The police managed to get Rachel into the cop car and to the station, but when they arrived, things only got worse. Options are gonna happen. - Stop. - You have me in here for throwing a bag of tampons. - Stop. - Stop what? - Stop. - Let me go home. - You're not going home. - It's too late. - What's too late? I was walking home. I was walking home And you bringing up like some sort of other s**t from earlier. Gimme a break. - Actually, you might wanna get a chair. - Rachel, hey, what happened? - I was walking home from the hospital after these picked me up and took me there earlier. And then they said, oh, we saw you throwing a box of tampons at your kid three hours ago. And then they arrested me, that's what happened. - Okay. - I was trying to go home to see my kids. - I understand. I know we were just talking about a few minutes ago though. - Yeah. - Okay, I'm all ears it's fine. - [Rachel] Can you guys let go of me please? - Calm down, okay. - Yeah, can you please go? - Just come hang on, just hold on. - [Rachel] This guy is like grabbing me very aggressive. - You tried fighting us. And you tried kicking me earlier and you just kicked the door. - I didn't kick you. - Yeah, you kicked the door to the bottom. - [Rachel] I kicked the door open. - [Police Officer] No, you tried to kick me. - [Rachel] Stop. - [Policeman] Out on the street. - [Rachel] I am a little lady, okay, I'm a little lady and you're a man. - All right, calm down. - I just wanna go home. - All right let's just take a picture and put them in the front, okay. You gonna be cooperative? - Yeah, I just wanna go home, I didn't do anything to hurt anyone. - There's nothing we can do right now till later on in the afternoon to see the judge, okay. - I didn't do anything to hurt anyone. - Watch, come over here. I'm gonna take off the cuffs off, come here. Okay, come one. - I didn't do anything. - Yeah, I'll take them off. I know, just hold on, here lemme take this off. - I didn't do anything to hurt anybody. - I know. - You know, like if they came to my house. - But I wasn't there originally. See, I mean, they're the ones who picked up, you know? - Yeah, They picked me up when I was walking. - Turn around and face that way. Makes it easier. - Stop being so bossy with me you a*****e. Look, this is what my arm is. Make sure you see a picture of that. - Okay, just gimme a few minutes, okay. Do you wanna take your jacket off? - Okay, first. - Yes. - Do not post the photos. Don't do that. - This is a process Rachel. - No, but this is not what this is been about. These guys came to my house, we were having a problem, a family problem at home. And can we just talk about this? - No. - Yes, we have to. - We're pass that, sorry. - We're not past that because I was walking home from the hospital. - Rachel, I understand, but the thing is that we were there listening to what happened. - What, what happened between the hospital on the way home? You're talking about something that happened three hours ago before the hospital. Like, what is the process, seriously. Can we just talk? - Yes you can talk to this guy. - I wanna talk to you. - No. - Rachel, go inside, now. - Why are you talking like this? Why are you talking like this? - Rachel, can you sit inside now, I'll come talk to you. - You come and talk to me inside. We were talking earlier. - [Policeman] No I know but. - [Rachel] Come and talk to me inside. Come and talk to me inside. Don't treat me this way. - [Policeman] No, step inside. Don't treat me this. - Rachel, I'm not disrespect you, but I. - [Rachel ] Don't treat me this way. - I can just talk to you the other way, okay. I need you to step inside here okay. What did I do aggressive. - [Policeman] Step inside. - [Rachel] Tell me what I did aggressive, sir. - [Policeman] Rachel, step inside. - [Rachel] Tell me what I did aggressive. - Screaming aggressively while you are asking what you've done that's aggressive is never a great strategy for getting out of custody. Neither is the next thing she's about to do. - Rachel. - Who's being aggressive? - You are. Close the door. - [Rachel] You are. - Rachel, go inside. - [Rachel] I'm not being aggressive. - Go inside now. - [Rachel] You talk to me and tell me why. - Rachel. - [Rachel] Why do I have to go inside, why? - Because you are under arrest, that's why. - [Rachel] Why? Tell me. Let go of me. - Get inside. - Let go of me. - Now you're man handling me. I will file a report. - Rachel, just go inside, come on. You're making this way more difficult. - [Rachel] Why, why? - [Policeman] You are making this way more difficult. - [Rachel] What did I do? What did I do other than through a tampon box? - [Policeman] That is what you did. - [Rachel] Yeah, okay, and this is how you're gonna treat me for throwing a tampon box. - [Policeman] Stop making this so difficult, just step inside and we'll talk to the other officer over here, okay.
