Like, I don't even know her. Can I just leave? >> Why was she in your car then if you don't >> No, because we just left the same place together and I thought she needed a ride home. I don't even know her. Please take her home. Like, I'll leave right now. I don't even know her. >> Put your leg outside. >> I'm not my mom. >> She's on her way. >> You don't even hand me my phone. >> It's right there on top of you. Put your leg in the car, please. >> my [ __ ] mother and I want to go the [ __ ] home because you stupid white cops are stopping ME FROM GOING HOME. >> YOU'RE NOT GOING HOME. >> If I'm not going home, why the [ __ ] would I make it easier? >> Each one situation that you continue to do is going to be an additional charge. Okay? >> Additional charge for what? What the >> police >> [ __ ] am I doing? >> For obstructing a police >> do [ __ ] You're trying to talk to me. I'm talking calm and you're not [ __ ] COMPROMISING. >> AM I NOT CALM? >> How the [ __ ] LET ME GO HOME. >> PUT YOUR LEG IN THE CAR NOW. >> NO, ANSWER ME. ANSWER [screaming] ME. YOU'RE NOT WAITING TILL I'M CALM. YOU'RE WAITING TILL YOU HAVE AUTHORITY. YOU STUPID WHITE WHAT THE [ __ ] are you looking at with your stupid [ __ ] DRUG SELF? WHY THE [ __ ] CAN you not look AT ONE [ __ ] AREA WITH YOUR [ __ ] EYES STRAIGHT WITH YOUR STUPID [ __ ] SELF? >> CAN YOU PLEASE MOVE UP TO THE FRONT OF THE CAR? >> YEAH, WHY DON'T YOU GET THE [ __ ] OUT OF HERE, YOU [ __ ] PIG? >> CAN YOU PLEASE PUT YOUR LEG IN THE CAR? >> NO. >> WHILE the suspect continues this behavior for the next 5 minutes, her mother arrives. >> Why the [ __ ] am I the ONLY ONE IN THE CAR? >> [screaming] >> JUST GET IN THE CAR. >> WELL, NO one wants TO HURT YOU. >> YOU'RE A LIAR. >> IT'S NOT GOING TO GET BETTER IF WE DON'T LISTEN. >> WHAT THE [ __ ] IS GOING TO GET BETTER? >> [screaming] >> I'M CONFUSED. >> I'LL GO. I'LL TALK to the detectives and I'll take you home with me after. But then I have to book you. >> That's fine with me. >> I'd spit on anybody who the [ __ ] I wanted to and it wouldn't be your shut the [ __ ] >> Just please put your legs in the car. >> Close the [ __ ] >> After being transported to jail, the suspect allegedly struck a correctional officer in the left side of her head on the ear and her nose, causing it to bleed, prompting the correctional officers to deploy pepper spray on her. According to court records, this suspect, 21-year-old Jayla, was charged with two counts of felony aggravated battery on a peace officer, felony aggravated battery on a correctional employee, resisting, obstructing, reckless driving, and disobeying a stop sign. She is presumed innocent unless proven guilty in a court of law. >> So, how's it going? >> The situation with the stolen keys did not end there. According to the police report, Jayla's friend told officers another group of girls had her keys and were driving around with them. Jayla's friend says if she doesn't get her keys back, she's going to the girl's house. The officer told her more than once not to do that. She just wouldn't listen. Now, police can figure out who did it and have enough evidence to move forward, but they can only do so much if the victim won't cooperate with prosecution. The FBI actually recognizes that when it comes to how these cases are reported. So, if police is trying to help you, at some point you have to work with them, too. Now, we did some more digging into Jayla's past and found another viral traffic stop incident that gave her the infamous name, "Give him A TICKET, GIRL." >> [screaming] >> BUT, COMPARE THIS TO ANOTHER INTERACTION SHE HAD WITH police and it's night and day. >> Did you know your plate was suspended? >> Um, I was calling the Secretary of State and they're getting right to me with what I need to do to fix it. >> Do you have your insurance? >> This is one reason I'm a big believer in finding a good counselor or therapist when you need one. Sometimes you have to learn how to slow things down and think before your emotions take over, and that's not always something you can figure out on your own. If you're struggling with that, there's nothing wrong with getting some help. A good counselor or therapist can help you get control of those emotions instead of letting them control you. That can change a lot more than just an interaction with police.
