[Music] on September 13th 2024 law enforcement received a call about a woman in distress at a plaza near Taco Bell she was seen running into traffic and appeared to be in a state of panic Witnesses indicated she was trying to reach the hospital but officers were uncertain about her mental condition what led to her panic in the first place keep running in she need to go to ja go to hospital we're going to go to the hospital if I go out that way nope we're going to go to the hospital I can't have you run we're going to get you help thank you guys help you you're okay they're going to help you okay you're fine down down you got to understand going to help you okay it's out of your control right now okay you're not in your right State of Mind nobody right we going to get you to the hospital you understand that you bet you get it one second when officers arrived they found the woman disoriented and unable to focus she admitted to taking something but it was unclear what drugs or substances she had consumed Witnesses confirmed that she had run across the street causing her to collide with a car her belongings were scattered nearby and a few Witnesses also mentioned that there had been a male with her though officers could not confirm his presence at the time I have nothing on nothing on they said you got hit car you all right I got herad road that with car yes yeah we're just getting out of the roadway okay what did you take what drugs did you take 9 9 a you say you had her purse it's up there they say it was up there by the trash the initial call came in a taco belt there was a man up there also tripping that just a few minutes ago I I was just pulling up here and I called you guys okay yeah there were several ran over several police had came so I just knew I I was at my parents house where talk to other police I just went I just come from over there there was no police here yet no wasn't any no I just called 91 they let me know several calls that big call cuz I was at my dad's and I heard it like that way and I kept hearing it and hearing it and hearing it and hearing it and then I I live on Jonathan I was just just coming down this way I saw her run out grabing all the cars yeah I see what doing I thought yeah I I I thought itags in the road and they turn around a human on there yeah yeah you say she was with somebody else yeah they said it was a guy up there tripping in front of Taco Bell with her with her they say he was acting the same way I didn't see you say somebody else you didn't see them no no I didn't actually see them but that's her stuff right there over by the side all right thank that's all her stuff right there yeah as the woman tried to regain composure the officers continued to gather information she was unable to recall her basic details and struggled to focus on the questions revealing that she had not been in contact with her family for some time and had no close relationships her emotional state worsened as she was unable to communicate clearly she expressed feelings of distress and seemed confused about the situation 11 thank you guys no problem I live down next uh couple Witnesses out here said there was a male with her acting the same way have you got any calls on that head up sorry you I'm sorry what's that what's going on sure don't know no I was with I was with a friend I don't I don't know what happened and I was last thing I remember I was sitting behind what was it trash key on a mail sure what it was what's your first [Music] name what's your last name what's your middle name what's do you know you're social I'm no sir how old are you what's your date of birth what's your middle name I can't sh can you focus on me can you focus on me okay do you know who I am okay I'm officer I'm a police officer okay I understand that you can't focus but I want you to focus on me a second okay all right your name is uhhuh okay where do you live focus focus on where you stay do you know what you took smed drink it's just me look at me it's just me here me and you it's just me and you okay you're okay you're safe what's your middle name [Laughter] [Music] honey I'm sorry all right have you ever had a driver's license no no okay do you know your mom or dad's phone number don't no no haven't talk to you haven't talked to them in a while no who who do you who are you close with the officers continued to engage with her trying to calm her down by focusing on her breathing and guiding her to inhale and exhale deeply to stabilize her the woman admitted to drinking alcohol and smoking marijuana which seemed to contribute to her behavior one of the witnesses reported that the woman had been out on the streets for a while displaying erratic Behavior she had been causing trouble by running in and out of traffic trying to open car doors and ultimately colliding with a vehicle Witnesses said that she had been dragged by the car for a short distance before getting back on her feet and continuing to act erratically I I don't have people for real for real I we got EMS coming to check you out okay okay I think that's best cuz you're freaking out you're fine all right I Need You to Breathe can you focus on breathing in breathe in for me now breathe out breathe out now breathe in now breathe out I need you to breathe in and breathe out you're okay you're okay don't hit your head you're okay don't hit your head you're okay so you're smoking some weed and drinking you ever felt this way before no are you with somebody [Applause] [Music] she smokes some some weed and Dr some alcohol she's going through something hasn't talked to her family in a while doesn't have anybody it's happening why is happening guys a preference yes ma'am there her belonging name she says morning there's a man with her that's over there by Taco Bell somewhere I don't know if he took off now but just the man that's with her okay um they've been out here all morning doing it so it's obviously not the we but um her belongings if you see where that pole is in front of Action Tire her book bag and stuff is right there okay I didn't know if you wanted me to grab it and bring it over I really did you want me to get it if you're able to that would be that would be lovely yeah no problem but you don't have to if you don't want to yeah I'll go get it it's easier for you guys but um I just wanted to let you know that there was somebody else with her and they've been out here all morning doing it so I know it's something other yeah and it just got worse to where she was sitting there just a minute ago and she jetted across the street ran into the side of somebody's car and they started running they caught her over here till she wouldn't run in a row so we was over here just holding her but we couldn't get nothing out of her she's just been just going crazy I'll get thank you H I don't have a rep do you have a the head [Music] do you have stuff with you you have me [Music] [Applause] grab that lady said she's going to grab it she she's going to have to be strapped for sure is she in the criser yeah oh when the EMS arrived the officers informed the woman that they were taking her to the hospital for an evaluation she appeared to be in no condition to understand the situation fully but she was reassured that she would receive medical help as the situation continued to unfold the officers ensured that she would not harm herself and kept a close watch on her in the [Applause] system you I me WR and I honestly D fck probably better just to take of the hospital in there she banging her head do you have a wrap just for the helmet home never thank you H you're welcome just a little more information from the guys that actually Tire yeah they said earlier um she was running into truck and trying to open people's car doors okay somebody dragged her for about like 10 ft and she face planted so I don't know okay thank you you're welcome they said she banged into the side of a door a car door and they drug her about 10 ft she face landed is that what she told you to I didn't know if the witnesses told you that I mean what street did you grow up on [Music] I currently ran rehab I'm fresh b rehab where what were you at rehab for drugs what kind of drugs what kind of drugs it's kind of it doesn't matter well I want to know be able to tell the doctors no no I I mean hey we're going to get you to the hospital and get you feeling better okay okay but listen to me listen to me are you going to be cool with us no okay no kicking no spitting no screaming here we go water please I need some water I can get you some water please please this way for me you okay I got you sit on this here okay got can you keep your leg out straight for me thank you you check her pocket [Music] [Applause] please she was warned not to kick spit or scream during the transport to the hospital she was also offered water to keep her calm while the woman remained largely incoherent the officers were aware that she had been through Rehabilitation before though she was hesitant to discuss the details she mentioned that she had been in rehab for drug rated issues but would not specify the substances she had been treated [Applause] for you're okay we're in a hospital please not yell be quiet going to go a lot better C down I did I I promise you're safe we're prise you say I question what makes me why you me you care about me why straight to 59 or 4 yeah you probably go straight to 59 [Applause] charges included disorderly conduct and public intoxication
