Today's body cam video takes place at Lover's Key boat ramp where FWC officers were conducting a safety inspection and two men on jet skis were observed driving recklessly putting everyone at risk at the boat launch. All right go ahead and get loaded up okay man but I'm not done talking to you okay I'm going to see your ID because we got addressed I'm going pull your history and we're going to check some of your we're going to check the the FWC database no you didn't do nothing wrong I'm conducting a boat or safety inspection on your boat we're responsible for you see that like I haven't done none of that okay we're conducting a boat or safety inspection I know you didn't do nothing wrong what that guy did was wrong but I don't I don't have a boat I can't chase after him right now we'll get him when he he's the the camry i imagine i haven't run that 28 yet but just know there is two occupants inside the forerunner um a male and a female warren on this guy but he's gonna get somebody killed he's just as drunk as this guy yeah uh yeah this guy here and this is dangerous i'm gonna be honest with you i already know that he has somebody else on the jet ski with him now because of witnesses that we talked to okay so he's got somebody else if there's a plan for him to try to evade us it's only going to get worse okay so his best option if you have some way to communicate with him is to come back and let us deal with him okay okay otherwise he's gonna he's gonna go to jail regardless for running from us i know okay i know i know i just tender everything but i want to know if we can leave no at this time you can't because this trailer is what's associated with the with the with the boat that ran from us if you leave right there what is to stop him from meeting you at another boat ramp and going home and now we don't find him we're gonna come to the house because we have his id what i'm telling you right now is you're not free to leave so it's unclear if they ever caught the man on the blue jet ski but i'd imagine they arrested him at his house given that the officers have his id as for this guy he was charged with resisting arrest without violence operating a vessel with normal
