I'm not asking you. I'm telling you that >> they called us and said that you had left, gave us a vehicle description. I saw you and turn on my lights and my siren >> and tried to stop you and you took off for me. You got into a crash and hurt another person. >> Yeah, but you guys are at fault for that, too. Did you stop to see if that person was okay? >> Yes, we sure did. >> Really? Cuz I didn't see you stop. >> No, I didn't. The other officers did. We have other officers. >> Oh, the three fault police sure didn't. >> So that So right now you're being charged with fleeing and looting and bunch of bail jumpings by the look of it. though. >> Well, I know my charges. >> Okay. >> Prosecutors charged Aluke with a long list of felonies and misdemeanor, including felony fleeing and eluding an officer, felony hit and run causing injury, secondderee recklessly endangering safety, later dismissed, but read in. Along with theft, bail jumping, and other misdemeanor charges, also dismissed, but read in. Her case quickly grew complicated. Warrants were issued after she missed multiple court appearances. Probation violations stacked up and her criminal record in Sock County over overlapped with the Richland County case. Judges consolidated charges and prosecutors agreed to plea deals where dismissed counts could still be considered at sentencing. Ultimately, Duke entered no contest please to the most serious counts. Felony fleeing and felony hit and run causing injury. She was sentenced to nine months in jail with Huber work release and electronic monitoring allowed, two to three years of probation, covering several consolidated cases, and later in September of 2024, an additional 40 days in jail consecutive to her Sock County sentence. She was also ordered to complete community service, undergo treatment programs, pay restitution, and follow strict probation rules. But throughout the case, court records reveal a consistent pattern of missed hearings, probation struggles, and repeated warrants. From felony fleeing to bail jumping to a hit-and- run with injury, Stephanie Duch's case shows just how quickly charges can pile up and how Wisconsin courts balance jail time with probation when a defendant faces multiple overlapping cases across counties. Case number three, March 21st, 2023, FondeLac, Wisconsin. Another major drug and weapons case ended in a long prison sentence. 28-year-old Aaron Lameé faced the judge in FondeLac County after being caught with meth, cocaine, and charged with reckless endangerment involving a firearm. >> 90. Several other charges like fleeing an officer, THC possession, operating while revoked, and paraphernalia were dismissed but read in. On October 4th, 2023, Lame appeared before a judge and entered no contest ped to three felony counts. The court found Lame guilty and imposed a stiff sentence. For the methamphetamine charge, Lame received 8 years in prison and 5 years extended supervision. For the cocaine charge, he was given 5 years in prison and 3 years extended supervision. And for the reckless endangerment with a dangerous weapon, Lame was sentenced to 9 years in prison and 5 years extended supervision.
