right and um sounds like you got put in a hard spot I did and uh all askings for you to be a good person and be honest all right but you seem like a good dude uh you never been in trouble or anything okay I know you came down here on your own free will which is awesome yeah we we went to the local one first and then they told us to come here yeah all right so uh you know with what's going on I have to make sure you understand your F Amendment rights okay yeah and um what that means is anything you tell me could if you were charged with something down the road if you were if you are ever charged with anything because I don't know what's going on yeah I know what uh Kayla's grandma told me what Kayla told me yeah okay whatever you tell us could be held his evidence against you okay so I want to make sure you understand this all right yeah it says I'm a police officer I warn you that you have the right to remain silent that anything you say can will be used in a court a law against you that you have the right to consult with the lawyer before and during any questioning and have a lawyer present with you while you're being question that if you cannot afford a lawyer one will be appointed for you free before any questioning and that you may stop talking to me or any other police officer at any time during questioning so like I said what that means is um if you were charged with something anything you tell me could be held as evidence against you okay and like I mentioned you seem like a good dude okay and I feel like you're going to be honest with us and you know tell from the top on this well this morning it might have been this morning or last night I was asked if I could go help move boxes mhm for a little bit extra money so I was like okay I'll do that well this morning I got picked up still being led to the fact that I'll be lifting boxes to pick you up um Bonnie did okay I pick you up from your house yep and when I got there she's like well you won't be moving boxes there's actually a body okay and I didn't know what to do from then on cuz I didn't have a phone to call no one yeah and I just did everything she asked me to do okay so you get to her house or she picks you up what did you guys talk about on the way to her house um she just asked me how I was doing if I got a job yet and uh if I was going to help her move these boxes yeah yeah so when you get to the house tell me about that well when I get to the house we come through the front door um sit in the kitchen for a minute and there's a gun sitting there on top of her her table this little thing she's got along with the wallet mhm and um then we go then she opens up the door the garage door says there's actually a body in here mhm and there it was stretched out and I T PL you know besides body would beat what color was the tarp black black tarp yeah it had uh like two or three rugs sitting on top of it for some reason I guess when she tried to cover it up she didn't do a good job of it okay but from then there she's like well I'm going to need help getting rid of it and I said well I don't really want to but I also remembered that she has a gun and if she if she did shoot him you know she wouldn't hesitate to shoot me yeah for no reason just not even helping her yeah and which is understandable you would feel that way and I was in a tough spot and I didn't know what to do so I I helped her try to dispose of it what was the first thing you Tred to help her do um first thing I did is I I looked at the body just to see who it was and who was it it's Kayla's Dad okay so you immediately recognized that it being Kayla's dad got tattoos right here I'm sure you could look at his face tell it was him too y did you see any injuries to him what what kind of injuries did you see to him it looked like there was bullet holes like coming from his arm there was blood all over his shirt okay I didn't see where the um entry wounds were okay but from there I started dismembering him what was the first part you dismembered his arm which arm I think it was his right right arm um where was she at when you were doing this inside so she didn't stand out there and watch you or anything no okay so you dismembered his right arm first what did you use to dismember that arm with a um little handsaw okay was it hard was it hard to get through or anything yeah that was real hard so after you disember the arm where did you put the arm at I just left it on the um tarp okay okay what did you do after you did that I uh severed the other arm okay and I left all the parts with the bag cuz I couldn't lift him yeah he was way too heavy so after you did the other arm what did you do next I started cutting off one of the legs which leg I think it was the left leg all right and then the right one so you the hip or the knee the knee the so you start cut off by the knee yeah um so you got the left leg dismembers yeah did you get the right leg dismember I got them all yeah all right what else did you dismember uh that was it I left the head okay with the body uh what' you do with the saw I hung it back up on the rack okay uh what' you do with your clothes she told me to leave them there she got me these clothes to change into did she where' she what she change at oh I changed out in the garage she was inside uh so understand you sold the gun there and it's perfectly understandable that you know if you see a gun and you know you think yeah I want to be this next dude this hard yeah you know um cuz I had no way of calling for help for anything one yeah uh are you pretty familiar with that house I've been there a few times like I don't know four or five maybe cuz it was her a stepmom so uh at so all this took place inside the garage yeah so after you um dismembered the arms and legs hung this all back up did you go what did you do go back inside and tell her that you did it no I tried to finish wrapping it up and trying to get it into the tote but I couldn't lift them okay what kind of tote just a regular size tote about this big all right so after that what' you do uh kept trying and kept trying until I finally gave up said I couldn't lift them couldn't get them in there and that's what you told her yeah did she come out and look at yeah she came out to see what she say when you told her that said well guess I'm just going to have to try to find some help mhm and that's when she ended up calling Caleb's brother the first time and what did she tell Kayla's brother she told him that she needed help moving a body who's Kayla's brother Casey Felman Casey Felman I think he's the one they called earlier okay so after he called Casey what she what she do uh after she called Casey he said he didn't want to be a part of it and then she tried to call Kayla and told Kayla about it mhm and then tried to get her sister's boyfriend to help us but he doesn't even know about it anything at all because he's been at work all day did she get a hold of her brother did Kayla get a hold of her brother oh yeah okay oh you said Bonnie called who now Bonnie called Kayla's brother to ask for help Casey yeah and then Casey called the law mhm and then after Bonnie called Kayla Kayla called her grandmother mhm and then that's how we ended up here so after Bonnie called Kayla and told Kayla what you got to do I went back down the garage to try to move the body again but I still couldn't move it mhm and what' you do after that um I told her I was I was done for the day and she said well let me go get you an outfit to change into mhm and uh she said leave your clothes here so she went to go did she go get your an outfit yeah that's what I'm wearing now where' she say she went I I don't know did you go with her uh-uh so you stayed at the house while she left yeah where'd you stay at in the house I stayed out in the garage so the dogs wouldn't come out and try to mess with anything yeah so when she got back what what happened when she got back she gave me my clothes and I changed and then we waited around for a few minutes and then she took me home all right how many times are you uh did you guys cuz I'm getting ready to go talk to her we got her did you guys have any type of intercourse or anything like that no no okay um did she give you anything any money or anything she paid me money yeah but that's what I thought I was getting for the boxes okay when did she give you money after after Sor right how much uh I think it was $70 okay where's the money at now at my house in the wallet what did you spend it on spend it on um toilet paper and stuff like that just be honest man because like I said we talk to K too yeah well I mean we about we with it okay um so she drove you home what' you do after that uh i k Cayla was downstairs she let me in the building and then right after we got upstairs is when I told her everything that happened did you wear gloves or like that where did you put the gloves at I put the gloves with the clothes and the shoes on top of the shoe rack all right all right B we'll just hang TI for a minute and we'll be right back with you is there anybody I bathroom yeah for a [Music] I'll take and picked you up and you were on your way to the house she told you that he was already dead but she said that there was a body yeah and you knew yeah so she told told you that while you were on the way from your house to her house room that's what she told me yeah what did she tell you in the car right she said that there is a body she said I don't know who it is uh it was some guy from a bar MH that apparently um her husband Jeff was supposed to up shot at the bar why did you tell me earlier that she didn't tell you till you got there were you're afraid you'd be in trouble yeah okay all right Bud um this is this is crazy so she kind of made some indications that you two may have had some other stuff going on why would she indicate that oh that's some BS there's no way all right bu but I just wanted to make sure okay yeah appreciate you being honest with me all right and she also said that you guys she told you that she would pay you more money if you came back tomorrow to finish the job is that true yeah but I definitely ain't going back yeah I believe you all right butd I appreciate it you same TI for a minute okay for
