today a lot tonight not a lot not a lot gotcha all right um would you mind coming on board my vessel performing a few tasks I just want to make sure you're safe to drive the vessel do I have to you don't have to um but here's what here's what's going on I am noticing a few signs of impairment and I want to make sure you're safe to drive the vessel so by you performing these tasks it just dispels my fear that you're not safe to drive the vessel I want to make sure you are safe so by you performing these tasks I can make sure that you're safe to drive the vessel and we'll get you out of here all right uh go ahead and throw that life jacket on for me go ahead and strap that on put it on the right way strap it around your back thanks sir seen that one that's that's a good move that's the first time seen that awesome all right go ahead and is it easier up there or you want to go back here okay gotcha all right go ahead and take a step on the gunel and I'll help you over here we're going to put you right on the front of the boat all right take a step forward good deal don't get pinched we're going to have you walk back this way in between back behind me right here back behind me we're going to have you walk around the gunel this way want actually this right works right here we're going to do right here I'll have you take a seat right there all right go ahead and take a seat perfect please sit straight at the front edge of your receipt put your arms down at your sides and place your feet shoulder width apart so you're comfortable and stable so Arms by your sides not rested On Your Knees Down hang them down perfect and if you can scoot this way a little bit so you're stable right in the center of the cooler perfect and then arms down by your side shoulder feet width apart are you stable all right do not move your feet until the tasks are over stay in this position and do not do anything else until I tell you to do so do you understand you understand that for the next task I am going to have you remove your eyeglasses so I'll take them and I'm going to hand them over here just so they're safe I don't want to be responsible for them perfect thank you all right the next task is called finger to nose what I want you to do is make a fish with both your hands and extend your index fingers and turn your palms forward so it's going to look like this okay see how I'm doing okay so pinkies in make a fist and then fingers out so pinkies all the way in so make a fist make a fist index fingers pointed fingers yep thumbs in so total fist put your thumbs in like a fist yep and then just your fingers just these fingers perfect and then down by your sides like this remain in this position while I explain the task do you understand yes okay okay perfect so ma'am the boat's bumping I don't want that to affect him oh [ __ ] go to go to neutral turn turn your boat off just go ahead and turn the key off for me all right so it's okay just to prevent the boats from bumping and doing anything I'm just going to back off no I'm I just I want that light on we're just going to move away just so we're not banging into each other okay so you guys can hold tight are you okay just sitting here yep you're okay fine okay all right so I'm going to I'm going to repeat these instructions to begin you're going to tilt your head back back to about a 45° angle and close your eyes so it's going to look like this when I tell you to touch the tip of your nose with the tip of your index finger and immediately return it to your side so it's going to look like this this is the tip of your index finger this is the side of your finger and this is the pad of your finger the dime siiz portion of your nose right here is the tip of your nose this is the side of your nose and the bridge of your nose okay so when I tell you to you're going to touch the tip of your nose with the tip of your index finger and immediately return it to your side it's going to look like this when I tell you to remain in that position okay prac y you don't get to practice I want you to remain in that position get to practice no no sir okay you get to practice I don't get to practice okay all when I say right you must touch your right index finger to your nose when I say left you must touch your left index finger to your nose do you understand I understand begin what begin what remember the instructions that I told you yeah you were going to tell me to do something and okay so you're going to tilt your head back and close your eyes okay left close your eyes yep right no I okay I got left right right left all right you can relax pretty good guys the next task is called the Palm Pat you're going to place your hands Palm to Palm with one hand up and one hand down it's going to look like this fingers together like just like me you're going to remain in this position while I explain the task do you understand understand all right when I tell you to begin you're going to turn the top hand over and count out loud one then turn the hand back over and count out loud two counting only when the hands make contact like this one two repeat this speed up as you go and do not stop until to make sure you keep your hands and fingers parallel during each pth like this one two one two one two one two do you understand yes okay begin one two all right go ahead and stop and it's going to be like this remember just one hand begin so we're going to stay like this and you're go one two one two one two two one two one two one two all right you can relax the final task is called hand coordination okay make fist with both hands and place your left fist at the center of your chest and your right fist against your left fist like this so left fist yep perfect center of the chest right fist right here when I say begin you must perform four tasks the first task is to count out loud from 1 to four while you move your fist in a step step like fashion making contact between your fist at each step it's going to look like this 1 2 3 four so stay in that position like I told you no you don't get to practice I want you left fist right F want you if you can't do it I I just did it I just showed you so remember it's 1 2 but you can practice okay so you have to in that position like I told you left fist right fish the second task is to memorize the position of your fist after you count to four clap your hands three times and return your fist to The Miz position so after you count out to four you'll be out here you're going to go 1 two three and return your fist to the memorized position the third task is to move your fist in a step-like fashion in reverse order counting out loud from 5 to 8 and returning your left fist to your chest so after you clap and you return your fist you can read all this out but you have to make me do it so if you have to memorize it so so after you clap you're back to the memorized position you're going to go five 6 7 8 and the fourth and return your left fish your chest so you 5 6 78 and left chest you're going to make me do it so I'm explaining the tasks and the better you listen the better you're going to memorize it so you really need to take this opportunity not to argue with me and to listen to the tasks okay right and the fourth task is to open your hands Palms down and place them in your lap so after you return your left fish to your chest all you have to do Palms out in your lap okay I want you to remain in that position left fist to your chest okay do you understand no do you need me to do my again I'll do them again all right you understand I've gone through the instructions twice do you understand them all right begin one two three four bro go ahead take a seat take a seat you did you did a lot of [ __ ] I did and I and I've read the instructions to you twice and you've told me you understood both times no I did not the second time the second time the first time I repeated them and then after the second time you said you remembered them there was a lot like I can do whatever you want me to do when you want to do it okay so I want you to do it so bring your left fist to your chest like at the memorized position and begin one two Palms down you all done that's that's your task there was a lot coming at me right there like you couldn't do it like if he asked you to do that okay all right I have one more task for you okay all right this task I need you to stand up and face out there okay all right take a step forward right there all right go ahead and place your hands behind your back all right remain in this position just like this all right at this time sir I am placing you under arrest for voting Under the Influence for we're going to need assistance with the subject vessel there's not a sober operator on board of the vessel no in fake uh Bui in the middle of Tampa Bay try go ahead if they're willing to they're trying to get in lands and Marina in Apollo Beach but we may have to make other ring okay that would help out all right thank you all right let me call Malachi back real quick are they trying to get a so Poppy's going to call Coast Guard and see if they can assist with getting the vessel back okay so just so you guys are aware he's under arrest for voting Under the Influence okay what we're trying to do right now is instead of impounding the vote through Sito or agency like that trying to get somebody to help get the boat back either where it belongs or to a dock it can stay overnight and get you guys home safely all right so bear with us um we're going to try and work through that and I'll keep you updated as I know things all right yeah so coast guards right here they're going to come take over they're going to help get you guys back to where you're going okay so he's he's going to get transported to orient County Orient Road jail in Hillsboro going he's got to spend a mandatory eight hours in jail okay that's a detox period that's by Statute he has to be there after that that's from time of arrest after that he's eligible from release so that depends on on if there's an on call Judge available and if he gets processed and their status at the jail that's on them process it don't don't what you taking pictures so it's called search incident to arrest I don't need your permission I'm going to photograph Your Vessel get a little Rowdy get a little Rowdy well we need to bring that back down don't get Rowdy on us making it better honey yes sir it's called search incident to arrest so like we said SE attention to arrest that's the phone for him okay um yeah what's up I'm going to run over there quick um this vessel no one safe to drive the boat um come here to assistance we were we contacted you guys to get them safe passes back that's we were told okay well that's that was we don't have the time to be able to do that CU we have hours that we constrained too okay so Coast Guard's here to assist their options are foro us home right that's I can't make that choice for them you are making that choice for me you made that choice for you when you decided to drink and operate a boat so I didn't make any decisions for you today the vessel and its intoxicated occupants were eventually picked up by a towing service because Coast Guard did not want to help them out they're pretty clear about that which I can't imagine was cheap and the captain was charged with by and refusal to submit a bre sample if you guys like today's content or just thankful for the five star blurring service I
