Relax. Relax. Don't What are you doing? Stop. You're under arrest. Why? Stop. No. Stop. This is your last warning. Get inside the vehicle or I'm going to put you inside the vehicle. I I understand you. Let's go. Let's go. What's up, everybody? Today, we have another arrogant Karen getting arrested. Now, this one does something pretty incredible. She manages to surprise me with an excuse that I have never heard in over 2 years of doing these body cam videos. So, strap in and without further ado, let's get started. Hello, I'm officer at the Palm Beach Police Department. Reason I pulled you over is cuz when I observed that we're here, you were unable to maintain your lane and I'm getting calls about your driving. Oh, I'm sorry. I was just on your phone. Do you have your license registration proof insurance? Is that telling me you're on your phone while driving? I was asking if I was you have insurance on this vehicle. Do you have it on you? It's on your phone. What's the company? Uh All right. I think we should pull that up. Yeah. All right, can you step out the vehicle so I can explain something? All righty. So, like I said, the reason why I pulled you over is cuz I was behind you and I observed you were like taking up two lanes. So, you were failing from the same lane. And also I received a 911 call on how you're driving and specifically about your tag. So I'm issuing you a warning just for that failing to maintain lane. But because of the fact when I came up to you on the driver's side, you did say that you were texting your husband. So I'm issuing you a citation for driving while texting. Okay. So you have within 30 days to figure out what you want to do with the citation. You can either pay it in the instructions in the bag to pay it. You can fight it in court or is it a ticket? Yeah, it's a ticket. Okay. So, what this woman is trying to do right now is to outsmart the police officer. You see, as soon as she got pulled over, she lit a cigarette so it would reduce the smell coming from her breath. And then she confessed to texting and driving, which would explain her erratic driving. Now, she probably thinks that she's going to get away with it and she's just getting a ticket. But unfortunately, the investigation has just begun. I like even showed him the text message from my husband. Yeah. Oh, no worries. I mean, you got to realize this is a very, you know, busy road in North Lake, especially when it's 55 miles from you guys know from um Aya Aya Ayala. Yeah, I know him. That's my one of my best friends and his all his sons. We play for Gardens PD. Oh, okay. All right. All right. My phone's in the beach garden. Okay. Do you want me to make all Okay. No, you don't. He knows who I am. No, you don't need to make phone calls. Huh? That's fine. Okay. Yeah. Like at the end of the day, like I just showed him the text message from my husband. He's upset that I'm coming home late. Gotcha. Okay. Well, so I'm just going to keep it real with you. Okay. I have an officer who does DUI investigations. He's in route here. So, right now, from this distance, I can smell the order of alcohol emitting from your I have not drinking anything. I have ice coffee I just purchased from McDonald's. Okay. Well, I mean, I can smell it from this distance right here. I swear I have to drink anything today. That's fine. You don't have to prove your points to me. I have an officer that's going to conduct an investigation. He's going to handle it from there. And then, you know, if he deems you're not under the influence, you're good to go. Okay. All right. Just stand by. Since you said you didn't have anything to drink, are you diabetic at all? No. No. I can show you my iced coffee. No, I saw the ice coffee. I mean, that's that's not my concern. It's just the order of alcohol coming from your breath. I haven't heard driving patter and a call I received you know she had a concern on your driving. So earlier she was trying to name drop this guy called Robert Ayala. She doesn't even know how to pronounce his name. And what she's saying is basically look I'm part of the thin blue line. I support the police. Now, if the cop were to actually do that and just look the other way because she supports the cops and she's friends with one of them, that would be corruption. Basically, this Karen is trying to corrupt this cop to avoid consequences, which is pretty disgusting to be honest. Explain if you're not under the influence and you just follow my fears, then you're good to go. There's no need, you know. I know, but I'm already in trouble. So that's the kind of like I have been a verbal abusive person. I can prove it to you on text messages. I don't know what to tell you. All righty. So Bridget, do you understand English? The English language. Just got to confirm. Okay. What's your highest level education that you completed? Uh 12th grade. Okay. And graduation. So, a high school diploma. Yes. Okay. And what do you do for work? Um, I'm actually on disability right now cuz I got bilateral pneumonia in February and I had a 15-year culinary degree. Mhm. Uh, I was an executive chef for J Alexanders and I've been on disability for bilateral pneumonia since February. Gota. And I've been doing this as extra money. Extra money. And do you have any medical conditions? just a bilateral pneumonia and a heart uh condition. Okay. So, that's just just educating your breathing. I got bilateral pneumonia. Um all of my organs started to fail. I was in ICU. I was put on a ventilator. My heart started to fail. My lungs started to fail. Everything. Okay. But that doesn't affect the way you can drive and walk and fine motor skills. Correct. No, I've been getting better all over the time, but my pulmonologist has not cleared me to go back to my the environment that I'm in. Okay. But does that affect the way you drive? Okay. All right. Um, do you have any injuries currently? No. No. Um, I got scraped today by working and I have I cut my finger. Do you cut your finger? You scrape. How'd you scrape your knee? Yep. How'd you do that? Uh, by I was doing landscaping. Okay. Okay. All right. And are you comfortable in the shoes you're wearing? Cuz I know you were driving barefoot. I was cuz I don't like the boots, but I didn't want to. Okay. Well, I'm going to conduct an investigation. So, it's up to you. You can either have your shoes on or off. All right. And then another concernment of mine, which is a bit odd. As soon as I pulled you over, you quickly smoke. Take a smoke break. Okay. I don't know if you're trying to cigarette. I don't know if you're trying to hide the order of alcohol and then you trying to sip your eyes coffee. If you saw, my cigarette was already halfway down. I was smoking way. So, this woman has such a long list of excuses, it's not even funny. Now, to add to the list of excuses, she's going to talk about her several prescription drugs that she takes. And some of them are stimulants, some of them are downers. You have Xanax and Adderall. It sounds like she is having a cocktail of medication. Yes, I takeone and trazadone and peroxitine and uh Xanax. Okay. What do you take those? I take them. I be take bopone times a day. I take trazone at night and I take the proxitine during the day. Okay. Xanax as needed. As needed. Uh probably like 3 days ago. Okay. And are those other medications that are uh um like uh No, no, no. Um like anxiety. Okay. But I have right now and I also take um uh I'm blanking on it like um aderall. And I have the prescription in my car. Whatever. When did you take the um I've taken aderal two times today. So I'm just sick three times a day. So like breakfast, lunch, dinner. So, you've already taken your card prescription? Yes. All right. I have that prescription in my car with my name on it and everything. All right. So, just keep your feet together and your hands by your side. Okay. So, I'm going to check your eyes. You're going to keep your head still and you're going to follow the stimulus light here. So, I'm going to fast forward past the eye test because you've seen it plenty of times. But honestly, the medication she's taking, even if she were to have a couple beers with the Xanax, especially, that will destroy you instantly, and you should not be anywhere near a car if you're in that state. So, I'm not saying she's completely plastered. She drank 10 beers, but even one or two could have a significant effect on her driving. Thank you. Okay. So, her eyes are normal or reacting normally to light. Okay. So, listen. I know I know that you don't understand what's going on and I know that you may not agree with our assessments or anything like that. Okay? But I'm telling you professionally that your eyes are not reacting as they used to be. For someone who claims that they may not eat, okay, for someone who claims they have not ingested any alcohol, okay, the medications that you're on, I'm not familiar with some of those medications. Okay? Some of those medications may have labels on there that tell you not to be driving a a vehicle, okay? Because they mimic the indicators of impairment. I just let me just explain this to you. You can still be placed under arrest under your prescription medications for impairment. Okay? I can tell you right now that your eyes are not doing what they're supposed to do. Okay? So there's there's there's significant misting of your eyes. Okay? So, your eyes are not reacting as you're supposed to. Your eyes are supposed to be nice and smooth. You're supposed to be able to to move and gaze and everything else. Your eyes are bouncing around. That's an indication of alcohol impairment or some type of other uh drug in your system and potentially something. Okay. So, that's that. Now, I know that you're claiming that there's no alcohol or anything like that. I don't know why. Where we're at right here, there shouldn't be any alcohol. Okay. I promise you, I'm getting some some wafting some odors of alcohol. You're saying that you haven't drank in the last month. Okay. With my medication. It doesn't I I would agree. Don't don't drink it with your medication. Okay. But it doesn't make sense as to why I'm getting these rocking odors of it here. Okay. We're not like at a bar or anything like that. People walking by. Okay. So, I think we would we can agree that there shouldn't be that odor here. Well, I'm telling you I'm telling you that that's something that I'm picking up and I think that this officer here as well is also that and I haven't I'm not showing any signs of it. Well, your eyes are your eyes are showing signs of of intoxication. I promise. We've got we've got other assessments to do. Okay. Definitely. Myone is something I take three times a day. I take my trazadone at night, which tradone I'm not allowed to drive on. And did you take that one yet? You said you took your your nighttime medications. You haven't taken that yet? I took my boprone and my aderall. All right. So, I'm going to skip most of the FSTs, but I do want to show you the last one. I've seen this trick before. It's pretty damn sneaky, to be honest. It's used when cops think that the suspect will be combative when they get arrested. And it's a sure way of getting the handcuffs on without too much of a fight. Take a look at this. 15 16 17 18. [Music] You can stop. So, we have one last task. Okay. So, the last one. So, we're facing away with the light. You're facing the trunk of your vehicle. Okay. You're going to have your hands out like an airplane, but your feet together. Okay, you're going to stay like that as if you're balancing a position. Okay, and you're going to count from 1 to 30. Okay, out loud with your eyes closed. Do you understand that? All right. So, have your hands out like an airplane, eyes closed, and count from 1 to 30 out loud. You may begin. Relax. Don't. What are you doing? No. Stop here. Get arrested. Why? Stop. No. Stop. Not doing this right now. Are you guys serious right now? That's literally You're going to catch resist. Stop. Don't be forceful. Nothing. I have a belt on. Okay, I'm going to have to take that belt off. They're not going to accept that to jail. Stop moving. Just stay like that. No, because this is ridiculous. I don't give a [ __ ] Okay, you guys are literally out of control. I haven't drank a [ __ ] dime. Take a breath of lighter. Whatever. You got I know how I know what you're going to do. I know.
