On November 17th, 2023, officers Allan and Ross were dispatched to Wisteria Island where it was reported that a man was taking and harvesting two young Kunchch and going as far as to do it on camera and boast about doing it illegally. For those of you that are unaware, the queen conch is an endangered species in Florida. And it is a big no no to mess with these creatures. Wisteria Island appears to be I don't know how to put this like tropical Mad Max. And if you're like me and you're trying to figure out how these people are able to stay on the island and occupy it, that's because it's yet to be determined who is the rightful owner, the Bernstein family or the federal government. And I want to say the citizens of this island claim claim it to be a peaceful community. But I can't help but notice the officers brought an assault rifle with them, which I can't say I've seen them do too many times. Did you personally see him with the Queen or just the video? No, no, I was there. All right, we'll have you uh problematic. Could you get him a written statement so that he can write down what he saw and all that stuff for me? Let's see. But when you told him like, "Yeah, don't eat those." Then he said, "Oh, I'll do whatever I want." And that was Yeah. Whenever that was This is the first time I've seen anything like this. I got you.
