of me right two of you guys absolutely BR brother I'm telling you that's what I'm doing like why are you doing this to me don't don't get me wrong I understand you know okay as soon as we emerg from the the Turnpike south from 874 you already caught my eye because of how you were driving when we got on the turnpike South and started going um South that other car flew by when I went to get him you wanted to speed up and do the same thing he was doing right so you get stopped had you driven the way you're supposed to drive I would have been dealing with him but now I'm dealing with you that's the that's the first issue the second issue is what you've been drinking I told you I want to do field sobriety to check your eyes to make sure you're good to drive and you don't want to do that right which is fine that's your well that means this I don't want to ask if I ask you if you want to do field sobriety and you give me no answer that means you don't want to do it my hands are tied the the the the well if you feel that way I really can't say anything okay like come on I'm can I just at least do this [ __ ] and do what these handcuffs are very uncomfortable I'll I'll put a second here in a minute come on brother I'm I'm so respectful to I'm a law enforcement come on I'm hurting right now brother all right give me a minute okay can we do this we talk can we stand outside and at least do this I will I will let you out in a minute right now you just got to sit there hang on all right do you want to notify your all right let's start over right I gave you the option to do field sobriety you didn't answer that means you don't want to do it I'm I'm I'mma say this one more time okay I just hold on hold on I'm GNA say this one more time okay if you refuse field sobriety because I'm gonna give you the last option if you do feel hold on let me just finish talking if you do feel sobriety and I feel you're fine to drive you're fine to drive if I don't I got to make a decision to arrest you or not based on that understand if you refuse completely then I got to make a decision based on that understand okay so would you like to do it or not do it I would you do want to do it yes sir Okay so I'm going explain it to you he's going to demonstrate it for make a fist with both hands extend your index fingers and turn your palms forward you're going to remain in that position while I explain the task do you understand yes sir all right so do what he's doing and stay like that while I explain it when I say begin you're going to tilt your head back to about 45 degrees and close your eyes all right not yet when I say begin he's going to show you what it looks like just like that and then you're going to close your eyes okay yes sir when I tell you to you're going to touch the tip of your nose with the tip of your index finger and immediately return it to your side so remember you're going to touch that tip to your nose and immediately return it back to your side you understand yes sir begin remember to close your eyes left right left right right left rela all right the next exercise is called the Palm pet so you're going to place your hands Palm to Palm with one hand up and one hand down like he's showing you you can remain in that position while I explain the tasks do you understand all good thank you we're going to start this one over again not right now not right now no but you can refuse at any time it's not about refusing but I want my attorney I I understand that but we don't do that okay I'm going start this one over okay since we got interrupted sir all right so you're going to place your hands Palm to Palm with one hand up and one hand down like this yes sir you're going to remain in that position while I explain the task do you understand yes sir all right when I tell you to begin you're going to turn the top hand over and count out loud one okay then you're going to turn the hand back over and count out loud two counting only when your hands make contact like this do I count or correct okay he's he's going to show you right now look look at him one two okay you're going to repeat this you're going to speed up as you go and you're not going to stop until I tell you to you're going to make sure to keep your hands and fingers parallel during each Pat like this do you understand sir remember to speed up when I say begin you must perform four tasks the first one is to count out loud from one to four while you move your fists in a step likee fashion making contact between your fists at each step so demonstrate uh one through four four that's the first step all right the second step isor position after you count to four clap your hands three times and return it to the memorized position the third step is to move your fist in a step-like fashion in reverse order counting out loud from 5 to eight and returning your left fist to your chest and then the fourth task is to open your hands with Palms down and place them in your lap do you understand yeah all right begin we going to go through it again or you want I got you I need you to do it how how we showed you you show me time just want to make sure I got it right do it the way you remember one two that's it I actually do it again I just want to make sure okay and then your hands down yes sir I just want to make sure I got it the right way that's it I want to make sure good yes sir according to the report once at the station the officer slurred much of his speech and made several incoherent statements while in the INX room that day he was charged with operating a motor vehicle with his normal faculties impaired and refusal to submit a breath test I have no idea what happened with this case or if any disciplinary actions were taken so if you have any information for me let me know in the comments below and let me know what you think about law enforcement breaking the same laws that they enforce
