Mall security encountered a man armed and wearing a tactical vest when they asked him what agency he was with he said he was a Fed he later said he worked for DHS and was on a protection detail local police then confronted um has m security already spoke to yes okay that you said you were with who exactly DHS yeah you're with DHS do you have any credentials on you yeah right there okay give me just one second 6175 I'm with the mail at bit secret um you have to double check things like this they if they if you don't have credentials they don't want you to be in here I'm seeing that so me just double check my yes I'm out with the mail in secret to detail right now okay gotcha um some on Sergeant coming if you don't mind just hanging tight real quick so we can we do this somewhere else yeah AB stuck where you like guys just doing some shopping at the mall yeah sh I'm I'm sorry for this whole half line though it's what's the big deal um so they the m security just has a pretty big thing with open carry firearms um from people that aren't us um so they just wanted us to confirm credentials and then you know if that's all good no har no foul just stuff like that yeah we've we've had people come in here with start right there yep yeah same so give me just one second credential to me it looks like a f of cat card but he's got a che card she's got as well DET got to call from all secur I don't they any credentials that's why they just called us we already talked to them got on you is in your business it's like well small security know there's there's I guess some sort of stipulations I have that open car yeah are you from here Texas yeah a lot different from down there I'm from Texas as well where you from near Dallas I'm from Dallas yeah South Dallas yeah same I appreciate you with us thank [Applause] you it was later determined that this individual was not a fed he was a private security guard that had lied about being a Marine in order to get that job the female in the video apparently did really work for FEMA he was charged with two counts of impersonation of an officer or employee of the United States and one count of making a false statement to a department or agency of the United States he pleaded guilty to making a false statement to a department or agency of the United States
