I AIN'T GOING TO HURT YOU. YES, I'MING PISSED, BUT I AIN'T GOING TOINGING LAY A HAND ON YOU. On October 11th, 2023, officers Sergeant and Allan were dispatched to a vessel in distress in the area of the Mud Keys. Upon arrival, they observed a vessel with a man later identified as Mr. Ball waving a flag to get their attention. Mr. Ball will eventually tell them that he's been at sea for 7 days because his motor failed, leaving himself and his two vessels stranded at sea. When the officers offered to transfer him to land, he states, "I will snap my neck before I leave my boats. This is my home." Now, seeing that these events all took place before a rather large storm, I spent hours fixing the audio to remove as much wind distortion as possible. And I've included captions for various parts of this video. I will also be fact-checking several things the officers claim Mr. Ball to have said, which ultimately ended up getting Mr. Ball arrested and more than likely him losing his home. Okay, we we are not a tow service. Do you have a way to reach a tow service? I don't even have a GPS. I got a map. Mr. Ball states that is no identification on him. So, the officers use binoculars to use his vessel registration to identify him. This may or may not also be for the officer safety as Mr. ball looks like a character straight out of the movie Water World. Where where are you trying to go to? Got two warrants out of North Carolina and Kansas. Assault and drug. All right. So, you are asking for a ride in the land. Boats. Okay. Boats can't go. We're not at service. I'll drown in the boats. Well, we're not going to let you drown. That we can't let you do that. So, I've got to stay with my boats. I need my boats. It's If I lose my boats, I'm homeless again, man. I can't sleep. I can't lose my boat. I'd rather die than Yeah. Like I said, we are not a tow service. We I don't want to be liable for this and this current and in this wind. You understand? Let go. Let go. I've got no home. I got no family. I've got nothing. I've got nothing. This is all I have. I'd rather die with the bugs. Look, man. We can't let you die out here. It's not not going to happen. All right. Then I need to get these boats out of here. My only option. Do you want us to call a tow service for you? Is there any reason that they would? I don't know. Well, that's not going to happen. So, I understand, sir, but like I said, we're not a tow service. We can call you a tow service, but they are going to charge you. All right, we're going to back off just a second. Give us give us a minute. All right. Hey, brother. What's up with your warrants? Warrants? Yeah, you got two warrants. Kansas and North Carolina. Kansas. North Carolina. I was guy threw a rock in my back. and he spit blood [Music] and spit blood in my face. That's attempted murder on me trying to kill me with the disease. Yeah, that's not good. All right, we're not going to force you anywhere, but we also can't leave you out here to die, you know. So, do you have You said you have no food or water. I've got a can of stew, a jug of water, but it's kind of starting to run low, but I [Applause] I lose my mind. I've been trying to get the land for I trying to take everything from We're going to come to a welfare check for you in the morning. All right. Doing all right. Uh, do you have how's the battery on your radio? Hooked up to a car battery. Okay. So, Coast Guard is able to hear most of what you're saying. So, at least you got communication there, so that's good. The officers actually called a tow service trying to get an estimate from Mr. Ball, but it sounded very expensive. All right. So, they they said that they need either a credit card or I think they said 10% for for like a a down payment type deal. Is there any chance you have either of those? The wind is so bad here, guys. I'm just going to tell you what he says or what I think he said. He said he had an empty prepaid card and several things he could possibly use as collateral, which I don't think will fly. I mean, I'm going to tell you they're not a broker service, so they're probably not going to take collateral. want to issue this and get out of here. All right. So, I mean, like I said, we can offer you personally a ride and we cannot tow your boat. So, if Well, I'll be back out to check on you in the morning to make sure that you're still good to go. Um, like I said, until then, unfortunately, we just can't. It's We're not a tow service. We can't unfortunately tow anything. So, I apologize, but I mean, you know, towing that thing is not easy. We're not Yeah. And this wind and this current is not Yeah. It's a liability. a lot of people involved unfortunately when it comes down to this which is why I tell voters so much money because they have the insurance to cover those sort of things. Um, so what we're gonna have to do right now is I have to issue a citation for the vessel at risk. So I'm getting charged. No, it's just a citation. I don't know what a citation. So it's not like a non noncriminal. It's just So this one is addressable. Sir, we can take you in. You don't have to be dead. That's the thing. We can take you with us. No one goes down with the ship. This is my home. If I lose my home, I I can't sign. Why? Arthritis and against my my belief. Anything of a signature is evil. I' I'd rather snap the neck. to have your opinion on all that. But if you fail to sign the citation today, just acknowledging that you've received it and you know your options with it. I don't know what that is. Pardon my stress. I've had I don't know if you if you know how cigarettes are, they cure the stress they cause. I've been without tobacco to the point where I'm digging through my trash bag with maggots in it to trouble out tobacco and I've got no tobacco and so I'm very stressed. So part of my stress level you finding me from me asking you to come out here and help me is is OH MY GOD I WANT TO SNAP MY NECK. I WANT TO TAKE A HAMMER to the [ __ ] thing and try it myself. You want to find me, you better shoot me. Well, then off with your dogam [ __ ] No. You want to take that to the courts? Go for it. But this is [ __ ] I have called for help. I have radioed for help. I have flagged for help. I have whistled for help by two different whistles. One of them's on that one. One's on you. This one. I did not ask you guys to have to to come out here just to be like, "Here's a citation, sir. You're going to have to pay to support even though you can't even pay to get help." Off you [ __ ] help me. You ain't doing a goddamn thing to help me or my ships. And I go down with my ships. I have busted my ass for damn near eight goddamn months just to get where I'm at. You're [ __ ] The officers move away from the vessel, but Mr. Ball wasn't done losing his cookies yet. He could soon be heard on channel 16 until the Coast Guard yells at him. The only thing that I didn't mind. I have ordered to run this country for the past 11 years. And I have busted my house for the past eight, nine months trying to get away at it. And everything around that I own is at risk. and he wants find me for being at risk and tell people won't help him and then tell me that nobody's going to help me and so I'm going to go download my goddamn [ __ ] because you mother don't care for help channel 16 if you'd like to communicate further request shift and answer channel 22 Oh my god what the wow That was that was something else. That was like a 75 in a ramp. While still in the area, the officers observed a pontoon boat approach Mr. Ball and the captain of that vessel will ask the FWC officers if they can transport him to the sailboat. To which the officer says, "No, he's under arrest at this point, which is likely because he refused to sign the citation." But I'd like to add, at no point was Mr. Ball warned that if he refused to sign, it would result in an arrest. Can I take him over to another boat? No, ma'am. No, ma'am. He's under arrest at this point. What the are you guys doing here? [Applause] Helping. The only thing you care about screwing me over. No. Oh, yeah. You'll take me to land. Thank you. No idea how much you know [ __ ] that. You guys are [ __ ] useless. Who the are you? Where are you? We're not a tow service. We're not a tow service. How does that actually be helpful? Because we could take you a human life to shore. [ __ ] help. Okay. It's not [ __ ] helpful. I'm sorry. There's nothing else we can do. Taking me to shore. You might as well kill me. No. So, let's talk about what just happened because Mr. Ball is clearly upsetting spaghetti and he had some pretty not okay things to say. But what he doesn't know at this point is the officers just took those threats as he was threatening their families. Now, let's quote from the report. While waiting for additional officers to arrive, Mr. Ball continued to yell vulgarities at us. Mr. Ball stated, "I will slit your throats." Mr. Ball stated, "I hope you die in the most unimaginable, gruesome way possible and that everyone you love has to watch." Mr. Ball stated, "Your kids are going to die. I hope someone slits their throats right in front of you." Up until this point, I could not find Mr. Ball making these statements. In any of the footage, I cleaned up all of the audio using iZotope Advanced, which is by no means a cheap audio restoration software. The only mentions that I could find made about slitting anyone's throat was his own. Okay, so moving on. Backup was called and the officers can be heard discussing pepper spray. Try and keep us downwind from him in case we have to spray him. Spray him. All right. Well, listen. I think I don't know your boat. I don't know like what's going on with it. If we can get you to come with us, we will go get your boat and bring it to this one. Okay. You want to come with us? Two things got to happen though. Got to wear a life jacket. I want you to say Okay. And then you cannot bring any weapons. I heard you got a knife. Can't bring your knife. I don't have Okay, we're going to go. We're going to go get your boat. I promise. We're going to go get your boat and uh and we're going to secure it. Okay. I'm not going to be any safer than right now. Yeah, we may be able to help you get to shore. We want to make sure your boats are secure first, though. The wind is horrible here, guys. So, I just removed it entirely. Mr. Ball is immediately searched because the officer stated that he had a knife. So, what? You got a lot of pockets in here. It's kind of cool. Uh, that should be a pocket. No, I mean like here and there. That's not a pocket. Okay. That shouldn't be a pocket. Well, sit down for me. Right there. That boat right there has been my home. Like it's the first thing in my life I've ever had my name attached to and I got everything legal. I'd rather go down with the ship, you know. I got it. Chill out. Hey, we're going to go grab his boat and secure it. So, if you can probably hip tow it up to back up to here. That one. This one. Tow it to this one so we can tie it off so I didn't lose it. So, you had this one anchored and it broke free. I had the anchor put into the back of that boat. I still have the anchor back that boat. They cut the line. No, they didn't cut the line. That's not what they do. I I mean, I know you're you are disagreeing with them, but they have body cameras, all that. They didn't cut the line. The officers towed his boats so that they would be next to each other and informed Mr. Ball that the anchor was secure. Even though this is the same anchor that Mr. Ball had been struggling with for days, I if you let me, I can I can grab that anchor. I can take this thing off. I can take that up and I can I can swim right back up. Listen, I I've been totally honest with you. I told you we would help you with these boats, but we do have to deal with the threats you made against law enforcement. Okay. I'm not trying to make threats against law enforcement. I never made any threats. No. No. No. No threats. I've said yourselves. You can go do yourself. Like, no. I don't want if I if my boats go down, I go down with my ship. I don't want to make no threats to someone. If I if I'm pissed off, I say, "Go yourself. Go kill yourself. I hope something happens to you. It ain't going to be for me, though. Okay. Well, no. Both officers are wearing body cameras, so everything that was said was on those body cameras. It's not going to say anything about me saying I'm going to do something to them. No. Got it. No, I do not do that. Okay. No threats. No. Yeah. I I told him that I hope something neg I hope something bad happens to him. I got it all on video, too. Okay. Like I've been videotaping. I was like, I hope someone, you know, you know, I hope happens to you, I go yourself because you ain't helping. Okay? Because they weren't they even told a couple people not to help. I have not made any physical threats. I have not made any verbal like verbal threats. No. Okay. Well, how about this? Listen, because of the severity of that. That's a big deal making that. It is a serious I don't want no misunderstanding. We're going to continue our investigation. But to do that, we're going to put we're going to detain you, okay? We're just going to put you in handcuffs while we talk to them and stuff and and find out what what exactly happened because they do have body cameras. You guys really like people, don't you? You are some sadistic. No, I DID NOT. NO, I SAID I HOPE SOMEONE goes and I hope someone does. And yes, I [ __ ] hope someone does. It would never be me, though. No, I did not make any physical threats. I did not say I was going to hurt you. I said that I hope someone slits your throat. It ain't going to be me. That's not a threat. That's a that's that's basically saying a hope, a prayer. So, as you just heard, the officers confirmed that Mr. Ball threatened to slit their throats. But, as I proved earlier, he didn't say any of that. And I'm not saying he said great things, but he didn't threaten these officers in my opinion. What do I know? I'm not a lawyer. And the only time he mentioned slitting anyone's throat was his own. And it's clear to me that Mr. Ball is so upset and afraid of losing his boats, he couldn't even remember what he said. And unfortunately for Mr. Ball, he will continue to believe he said what the officers are claiming, which doesn't help him. You want to investigate? I have my tablet. I've been videotaping me screaming and all around. I got it. Listen, at this point, you know, I'm really getting to scream. I get it. Well, I don't feel like you're helping me at all. I think you just sadistically tricked me. Didn't trick you. Listen, first listen to me. First thing I cared about was your boat. Okay. I did not want to see. We If your boat was floating away, it could have floated away. I did not want it. I did not want that. I had a chance to test that anchor myself. But I I'm just You tricked me. I didn't trick you. Listen, I'm telling you that boat that is secure. That anchor is locked in. How am I going to get back to it? Listen, I don't [ __ ] care. I do, but listen. No, you don't. How do you care? You violated I did not violate. Well, we're we're going to charge you with that and then you you have your tablet. You have the ability to fight that in court. I can't get to my tablet. It's on my boat. You'll be able to How How are you going to go into my boat and get it? No. No. Who's going to go to my boat? I don't have nobody. Well, when you get out, you can do that. And even at full plane, Mr. Ball continues to lose his cookies. And there's no chance I could have fixed this audio. Yeah, without my Now, at the end of the report, officer Sergeant stated the following, but there is no body cam footage of these events happening. And that's not to say they didn't happen. I just wasn't supplied with them for some reason. At approximately 1920 hours, OFC Allen and I arrived at Stock Island Jail for processing. Mr. Ball was processed into Stock Island Jail. Mr. Ball stated at the jail, "Wait till I get out. I know a lot of people all around the country. You'll see." Mr. Ball stated that no one better come at him with a needle while he was in the jail because he would stab it into their neck. On that day, he was charged with refusing to accept a citation and threatening a law enforcement agent. Now, now, fair warning, I'm no audit the audit. I love his videos though. So, I have no idea what I'm talking about when it comes to case law and such, but when I looked up the court case, it appears he picked up a few extra charges in relation to threatening and was found guilty of all of them. I think I don't I don't know. I'm stupid. I even tried reaching out to Mr. Bald to get some more information, but he's literally a pirate and I highly doubt I ever will.
