but I assure you this video's got a happy ending so so you don't need to you don't need to get creeped out and leave yet because I'm telling you this has a happy ending on April 19th 2023 Florida Fish and Wildlife officers were dispatched to a I don't know if I call this a home it's kind of just a landfill but they were dispatched here after Hillsboro Animal Control discovered several protected species locked in cages in some of the worst conditions ever seen recording so I found the gator okay um it's about that long all right and the Bobcat I sent you the second picture did you get that confirm it's a it ain't no how you doing sir I'm officer Robert rard Florida fishal Wildlife all right all right all right yes sir so I guess there's a a bobcat and some other stuff yes okay are are you how are you property owner are they yours like what's the I'm I'm around here but the county own this property now County got the property yeah okay see this sign there they put up how you doing sir how you doing sir all right hang in oh was that the one that's up there yeah huh interesting so you mind if he shows me where they're at anything y want to do I appreciate it anything y want to do that Bo is in absolutable condition G right there oh yeah there he is and as far as I know that's the only one in there I haven't I haven't poked around in there at all only I've seen nope probably put half yeah that thing's stinks oh it's nasty so I haven't seen any alligator snappers but I did see a couple soft okay but like I said these tanks are soy you can't see yeah I've got one of our captive Wildlife guys heading up this way right there all right and I discovered that when I was trying to contact for him okay that was when he brought you back to look for the dog yeah he's got a chain on and everything Curtis told me that one of the neighbors told him yesterday that he went to jail was walking that thing on a leash really all right baby but if you look in there you see all all the fish carcasses there's no water in there for it no it's just all rotten meat yeah so and I don't know what's in that one the white ones over here yeah so the one far right there's something in it cuz it keep Rippling but I haven't seen it I don't know what it is but but it I imagine we could drain those down if we had to but yeah that one I I haven't been in because he's got it covered with the with the wheel like you're trying to keep something in it yeah looks like it that one over there the bigger white one's got some soft shells in it um and I don't know what is in that there's some big rocks in the bottom of it but I also believe there's a couple turtles in there all right have you seen any of anybody in the house anything like that it seems like it's pretty there's a a RV trailer on the other side of this structure okay and there's two people over there but they're sitting down on the front pork smoking cigarette okay I don't know who's behind us but there's a bunch of dogs and pit bulls and stuff back there okay but I haven't encountered anybody on this property all right oh my God yeah I thought it was it was strawberry mash from the Moonshine oh there's definitely something in there oh there's a bunch of somethings in there i' I took a pitch for it was digging around in there and I was bumping all kinds of stuff but I don't I don't know what's in that one so only thing I can think of you know these have all got drains on them and they can all be drained down to see what's in there it got an air raater yep hook the plastic bottles it's kind of a different setup the plastic bottles have holes punched in them with the airator in it just to spread it out yeah I gu a bubbler yeah okay so but that's all I've I found like you said the count owns it all now anyway so I imagine they're going to come in here and demolish it all and tear it down what was in here have no CL look like some kind of bow or something feathers everywhere yeah he's got some other cages in here yeah The Only Exception is I don't I don't think I can I don't think we could do that so my plan iser is to go try and recover this dog okay and then come back I'll start working on that Gator I got a little cage in the truck I can probably get them in I got my catch pole okay but that's what my that's what my plan is is is to go um if you wanton keep the deputy here with you so nobody sneaks up on you yeah it's fine I got Curtis with me um but I'm going to see if I can't recover the dog and then I'll come back okay uh watch how you going get these well the alligator I'll just pick up and put some tape on I'm more worried about that Bobcat than I am that Gator they're real cats what's that they're real cats yeah oh yeah they're they're wild cat they're not a li they a cat cat you know I'm not sure I think they're I mean they're definitely a wild cat but yeah I think they're they're probably I'm guessing on this one I mean biologist be able to answer it better than I could but I'm my understanding they're you know pretty closely related to like house cats they're just still a few feral steps off and I don't feel like going through a round of rabies shots so what do they want I don't know some people just like them as I mean I had one lady down why mama had a little golden chain on her she used to keep it in her person walk it Animal Control said uh one of the neighbors said that the uh one of the neighbors I guess was walking that Bobcat the other day like it was a pet no way that's what they were saying they might they might get him big enough to eat them this guy looks like more like a pet I don't want that that nasty water on me quit flopping you don't wear well problem is it's harder to grab with gloves on man you got so he can't hurt me there oh I lost both my thumbnails to one smaller than this one time no way yeah he uh he got out of the tape as I was breaking the tape it was really wet like this one was that's why I'm going to let him dry off a little bit um but yeah when I went to pull the tape the tape slipped right off his nose and he caught me on this thumb and then he bit me on that one [Music] and now you'll have to release him right yeah but he's a native species so that's not too bad they won't bother him nah find a good spot for him take him out to Mosaic property or something well even the even the Bobcat uh Captain Wildlife said those we can release too [Music] so no there's definitely something moving in there there's definitely stuff moving around in there man they got no water or nothing there's a uh how old do you think that is a couple years at least I mean he or she's not real big what does he eat look inside here see all this nastiness that's what they've been feeding them dead fish Birds apparently currently a crab yeah they got them on a chain I wouldn't be surprised he said they've uh they've got some dog fighting history wouldn't be surprised if they're not raising them to throw them in a dog fight ring real it wouldn't surprise me if they're still if they're still playing with dogs like that it wouldn't surprise me at all I'd say the cat would win H probably would just watch this there's a makeshift electrical line right there I don't know how sound it is so just yeah he's almost full size he can go back out but they've got them leashed up so it shouldn't be too hard to get him that's the proper response he's ready for the wild yep okay cool I'll put him in I got like a dog cage we'll just show him in there and I'll D dump them off some down way down 39 over there Mosaic land I was going to tell you I mean if he wasn't you know we've got an officer that's that's got all her permit licensing and all yeah I know who that is [Music] yeah come here the leash off that's the thing I want to try and do that here pretty gross come on get out get get out [Music] get put firsts go and get that damn leash off I wonder if we can cut it through the side of the cage they already have like a fire I can do it here these I've got some I should have some safety some she surgical shears so like if we get that angle where he's that right there and get the shears behind it should be able to cut it without risking cutting him here what I'm going to do is just watch those H claws yeah the problem is I I don't know if I can undo it with this I can grab him let me grab those shears real quick man all right do that through the edge all right see go through safer these are impenetrable for any animal really yeah he can bite the hell out of you y that's why that's why I grabbed him it's not not a problem yeah you probably scratch above it you know that's why see yeah okay yeah you go over there and try and cut them through there see if you can cut them through there if not I'll hold them down you all right here's what I'm going to do I'm going to hold them and then you cut it okay all right there you [Applause] go right can you reach it I'm trying
