On August 25th, 2024, a hunt for the man began after reported by a woman who had been threatened with the release of a private photo on her social media if she didn't send him money. >> Hello, is this Megan? >> This is Megan. >> Deputy C. Sheriff's Office. How are you? An officer calls the victim and she says the suspect is threatening to share her private photos unless she pays. >> What's going on? >> Um, so I had a call on Friday. My husband was texting me pictures saying that it would be a shame if these leaks somewhere. He was threatening to post them online if I didn't send him money. Um, he's currently in acid addiction right now. Uh, the deputy that was out here said there wasn't enough probable cause because he hadn't actually posted them anywhere yet. And today I got a message from someone who I believe a customer of mine for my small business and he sent pictures of himself and then a picture of me and him to her and she sent me the screenshots of elicit like explicit photos. >> Okay. >> The case is already open, but now like my whole face is not in there, but part of my face is and I have the picture that was taken prior to that photo. and then and then sent a picture of a bunch of drugs lined up on a plate. And so he has mental health issues. He has depression and anxiety. He's been Baker acted before for trying to um overdose. They asked about Levy County because he is very unstable right now. >> The officer arrives at the victim's home, interviews her, and checks the photo. For privacy reasons, this part is muted. About an hour later, the victim tells officers that the suspect also sent the same photo to her brother, >> Megan. >> Okay. >> Hey, so you saw him at your house? >> No. So, he's heading towards an island from what someone's that someone who he's trying to get money from said. But I also he sent the picture that I showed you as like the fault the picture before that picture that he sent that girl he sent to someone else who just sent it to me and then he sent two videos and pictures to someone else and I'm waiting for those screenshots. >> Okay, so he also just sent it to my brother. >> Officers begin tracking the suspect's location. >> His voicemail again. Is he sending more pictures?
