We would have been dead. A Florida homeowner comes face-to-face with a gun against a devil-looking intruder leading to a high-stakes standoff that unfolded in the dead of night. The man was later identified as Jonathan Richards who deputies say had been moving through the neighborhood before the confrontation and was ultimately reported by [music] the terrified homeowner as the frightening scene unfolded. One of those homeowners is then seen carrying a rifle in an attempt to scare that guy away. The woman describes the confrontation as a meeting with the devil. Yeah, this is the homeowner. And then I seen the helicopter. I'm like, "Oh my God in heaven." Y'all started screaming at me. I'm like, "No, please." Okay. That has nothing to do with me. Nothing, Corporal, to do with me. According to deputies, he faces multiple charges including attempted burglary, loitering and prowling, and possession of burglary tools. Authorities say the case will now proceed through the judicial process as officials continue to encourage residents to remain alert and report any suspicious activity in their neighborhoods.
