On July 6th, 2024, Sonia Massie made a simple call for help, reporting a possible prowler outside her home. Moments later, things turned violently when Deputy Shawn Grayson shot her, killing her on the spot, claiming he felt threatened by a pot of boiling water. These body cam footages are not from Shawn Grayson, but from a fellow officer at the scene. Since Grayson didn't turn on his camera before the shooting there, Shawn Grayson is seen knocking on the door.
