These types of calls can definitely be challenging for law enforcement to deal with, especially when there's multiple individuals involved in an incident, some of which appear to be intoxicated, which always makes that more challenging. There's conflicting stories or statements about what happens. It appears as though there's two groups involved in this incident. Each group is alleging crimes against the other, and it can definitely be a chore or task for law enforcement to have to separate all these people and obtain multiple statements or interviews, try to sift through what's fact versus what's fiction, especially if they're getting a lack of cooperation from some of the witnesses or people involved in the incident. And it sounds like this entire thing is stemming from a prior relationship or family related issues or drama. And in my experience, unfortunately, that's how a lot of these types of things go, especially if there's lingering vindictiveness or animosity between two people that used to be married or in a relationship and things didn't work out. And for the domestic violence crime itself, which is going to be what's actually important for the scene, the crimes that were committed on scene, not some allegation of something that may or may not have happened in the past. In a lot of states with the domestic violence allegation combined with visible injury, it is going to be a mandated arrest and law enforcement will have to take action for that. Fortunately, these officers have a lot of units on scene which definitely helps improve the efficiency of these types of investigations. And that's going to be it for this one.
