And now a Hudson man is facing prison time after threatening officers during his arrest. Here's what happened and what the judge ultimately decided. >> November 30th, 2024, River Falls, Wisconsin. Just after 3:30 a.m., police responded to a reported vehicle theft on South Third Street. The caller said her SUV had been taken while it was running with the keys inside. She was able to track the vehicle's location through a phone app after realizing her phone had been left inside the car. Officers quickly located the vehicle traveling through the Highway 65 area and conducted a high-risisk traffic stop. The driver, later identified as a 25-year-old named Seth, was the sole occupant. >> Thank you. vehicle. >> Who is that? >> I wonder just looking. >> Yeah. >> You can get the rest of this. >> Yeah. So, >> the vehicle's owner arrived on scene and confirmed nothing appeared stolen, but officers found a container of THC wax inside the car. I'm going to step out here. Seth was charged with multiple felony and misdemeanor charges, including battery to a law enforcement officer, threatening law enforcement, throwing bodily fluids at a public safety worker, vehicle theft, owi third offense, and multiple bail jumping counts. He was issued a $2,000 cash bond. In court, Seth entered no contest ped to felony bail jumping, felony OWI, fourth offense, and throwing bodily fluids at a public safety worker. Several other charges were dismissed, though some were read in at sentencing. He was sentenced to up to two years in prison, followed by extended supervision, lost his license for 3 years, and now owes more than $7,400 in court costs.
