violence report after a 9-year-old girl was heard telling a dispatcher that her mother had hit herself and thrown a burning cigarette at her the dispatcher also overheard the mother mentioning that her phone had been taken so she had to use a neighbors what led to this intense situation you what's going on today hello come just open the door don't oh look your kids I was the one from 851 I shared I went use your phone cuz you took my phone nobody didn't look dad nobody took her come on kids they going with me well when you're done go ahead but right now it's cold as hell yeah get some clothes and get and and and and let me tell you I had to run her house and and use her phone oh look they probably looking I'm at 851 no it's 867 I know but but when we just called again they was like they're going to make sure that she knocked on 850 that's A's M okay oh you look just like your D I just want my son to get so we can leave you guys been calling before domestic vience he is fuing oh my no that don't got nothing to do with no kids no see why I police go talk go talk to them ma' can you come talk to me real quick yeah come on over here I just used her phone come on over here upon arrival officers encountered a chaotic scene with multiple individuals speaking at once children present and emotions running High the woman appearing highly distressed insisted that she had been dealing with an abusive man for a long time she claimed that he was violent and manipulative and had been causing trouble since the morning according to her she had repeatedly asked him to leave but he refused she repeatedly pointed out the damage to the bathroom door as evidence of the violence she endured ma'am can you for me so so what's going on here I've been dealing with this man for a while okay you look at my Ayn on him before and he's head he's a very violent manipulating person okay and he's started stuff this morning he got the phone before I did to think it might have been better but it wasn't he has started everything today how did how did it all go down mind I kicked him out again I can't do him anymore he made him mad and he had my kids involved and they tagged their Stu and then he called you because I asked him to leave again because I can't do his his mean his mean violent self I kicked him out and piss him off so it started my hands on me so bad I pissed my pants do I need to make it any more clear you guys have come here before for messing and you talk me you just said this last week when you were last week to my house was said it was live but it's not and I can't do no more so he's got mckin fault he called you guys first and make it look like it was my fault I just know that it doesn't matter I just I just know I'm getting I'm getting okay I just couldn't call you I had to run to the neighbors my phone's still missing I piss my pants and there's a hole in the bathroom door so you tell me what hell Happ the officers asked if she had any recordings or pass police reports to support her claims to which she responded that he had a history of domestic violence she insisted that the police should check their records saying his past actions were well documented she mentioned working as a medical assistant and expressed frustration over his presence in her home despite his lack of financial contribution do you have any recordings or anything like that you have records on your police reports he's done this before go look it up go look up Darren look up Darren magat do you mind if we step in yeah come in man I'm just trying to her pH and she had a cigarette in and she sto it and she blamed it on my dad and then like a few minutes ago she he was calling the cops in there and trying to call them because he was pulling my brother's hair and punching him and he she bust the the bathroom door trying to get in she was punching him no punching the door oh she was punching the door did she hit either of you that's why I called the police cuz she started jumping on my son hitting him all the was all right here in the living room when she started doing it and that's when she started doing that I said we got to get out of here I ran in the bathroom and shut the door and she kicked the whole door in and then what made me come out the bathroom my son scar young for help ma'am if you can just stay out here please no like my pants are wety and I didn't do this I need to change my pants you can lock me in to get new pants I don't give a her Psy pants and not deserv go look in the bathroom in the hole inall app What's mar and then she punched me so she was hitting the door and you went and tried to get her off the door yeah and then she turned and hit you where she get you was it on the face in the body I don't know ma'am I didn't do nothing to nobody look at the bathroom wall here ma'am I'm not going to ask again go hang out over there no wow they got he's got my kids again amha my house under my name we Ste my name only mean my kids live here he isn't supposed to be here I wouldn't say steep up no job no money and he stays here okay I'm a medical assistant in Oak Street Health I had a career over there Med in Oak re live over here I I work over there and I live right here so he doesn't have job me he lives here and it's under my name okay I have a job and I live here so so listen sorry and then he took my phone and then he got my kids pack against me threw me through the bathroom door there's a hole in the door and I kissed my pant that's when I run to the neighbor to use the phone to call you guys she already beat me to it cuz he has a record long list of domestic violence and whatever else like he's scared to death so he called you guys first before he left and I ran around his call used her phone because he took mine first of all I had no kids there okay that's what happened knocked on the door I thought it was my baby daddy I said did I do something tonight what do I do I want to be a good friend but I don't want to leave every I also don't want to spend a night at my house that's fair because I was naked kids what do I do he can say that he can leave and then 5 minutes later he can pull the back up and then and then we'll get called again and then and then what if she said by the time yall get pulled up again I'm telling you he choked her from down the street up the street she just it two weeks ago I'm not no mother I just wa in front of y'all right I'm not playing this is how much I don't give a no I'm telling you she has never in her life ever left from right here and banged on my door okay well you need to calm down okay because right now you look like I know he's ped that picture of me but look mine even even look his up who has domestic violence near him meanwhile when officers questioned others at the scene including the children they provided a different version of events one of the children claimed that their mother had been the aggressor the child alleged that the woman was the one who started yelling threw a lit cigarette and was hitting the bathroom door another child stated that the mother had physically attacked their sibling which led to the police being called the man who was accused of abuse claimed that he had taken the children and locked himself in the bathroom to protect them I'm talking about this right now with looking at you painting the picture you look like it I just been a bathroom pissed you not a bad mom I just told them about 2 weeks ago when the kids wanted to play outside and you said no he's not outside cuz they got to get their school work done oh I got to get my kids in the house I said why the you moving so goddamn fast oh nothing but go to work play with me like I don't know what the going on in this house so I need my phone before you leave here I needed out of your truck and I needed a policeman's hand well go ask excuse me hey can you get my phone from him he says he doesn't have he does I ran to her house I can't search his carll if call it and you hear I don't have it it was straight to voice when I run my neighbor to you know what this place system is so up the police violence and child endangerment she was shocked and repeatedly questioned why she was the one being arrested she kept asking what she had done wrong and insisted that she had had only called for help she argued that she was the one who had been assaulted thrown through the bathroom door and left with a damaged home she also stated that her children had been manipulated against her what am I getting I called for help listen to me first of all if I was you since you're getting arrested I will grab some mother shoes in the sweatshirt no this is wrong it is wrong but guess what you need some mother for help and you need a sweatshirt would you stop talking get the cigarette real quick yeah do you want a sweatshirt cuz they about to take you out with no shoes and no shirt you hear them you need to listen do you want some shoes where's your shoes so you about to walk out with no mother shoes and no sweatshirt and be it don't matter if you did something right now you did something getting she couldn't believe she was the one being arrested instead of the man she accused officers assured her she could defend herself in court and cited witness statements including her children's outside she kept protesting claiming the system had failed her she asked for her shoes and a sweatshirt before entering the police vehicle why do you keep let him come back I and I've almost lost my job because of him my family notices I finally kicked him out and I grew some balls and it hurt really bad and I was like I D I need to to leave like I like kicked him out of my house finally for the first time and I kicked him out he's packing his stuff and then of course he got abusive again what do you mean he got abusive my bathroom door has a big hle I saw that I Pissed My Pants oh need you to tell me what he did he threw me through the bathroom door he threw you through the bathroom after I finally had enough look look at me finally had enough this morning I haven't had the balls have enough in a long time okay and finally this morning I had enough I ask him to leave this morning what were you guys arguing about we were we were arguing out throughout the night and then he kept coming back into my bedroom and staying [ __ ] [ __ ] with me and I said Darren when I wake up in the morning you need to go cuz I knew he didn't have any place to go he had no place to sleep so I said when I come out of my room I need you to go cuz you're no good for me anymore he's making me bad at my job I could be a better mom I could be a better person and a better human being if he was just out of my life and I finally needed to let him go I'm like Darren when I wake up in the morning I said you need to go I said did you can sleep here but when I come out my room I said you need to be gone I said I cannot be with you anymore okay everybody's been been telling me to do this for a long time and I know I've need to do this but I've held on for my kids okay my kids love him obviously they pack their bags with them they love their daddy I can't do it anymore so I finally said I cannot be with you I do not love you anymore when I come out of my bedroom I need you to be gone okay that started a riot so I just want to make sure I have your when he realized I had enough and the last time he came in there me after I said Darren I need you to be gone today and he knew I met it that was when hellberg loose I got thrown through the hallway bathroom door there's a big hole pissed my pants kids got woke up started screaming around trying to like stop him from pushing me around my phone disappeared I couldn't call you guys he called you guys first to make it look better because he had domestic violence and I knew he'd do that whatever I ran to the neighbors in my socks and then called you guys second I don't like to do that but I asked him to leave nicely I just want with me this make and now I'm arrested for I didn't put my hands on nobody I did that for me and my kids I just want to make sure I have your story straight my story is like the real story okay and I want to make sure that I have it in chronological order so you guys started arguing last night he kept messing with you last night you told him you can stay here tonight but in the morning you need to be gone before I wake up you woke up and he was still here so the argument continues my bedroom and that's when he grabbed onto through you through the bathroom door yes the kids woke up the kids woke up before he called the police got them all red up and cuz I was like wow I know like I pissed myself got thrown through the [ __ ] door before being placed inside she insisted she had a stable life and had done nothing wrong her final words were filled with frustration she had asked for help but was now being treated as a criminal you know and they got all franic and crazy and then he started being franic and crazy and then the whole situation got in he was on the phone with you guys was there any other physicalness that happened he didn't physically touch me at all after that so he threw you through the door yeah and I Pissed My Pants he threw me so hard okay I never laid a job that I have to go on Monday Mo give me a second okay so we lost my job M we have your phone where was it it was down in the couch cushions of the couch okay than you uh so it's going to go with you okay I don't know if it's charged or has any battery life or anything but turn it off so you can say I'm my if you need to get anything out no listen I that's my job on Monday morning I don't know anything about your job okay going to jail yes why but it's been explained to you okay you can uh but okay so first things first you guys totally got me two things on my record that's never going to give me another job and then my job medical $22 an hour the best job I ever had is going to be gone now and you can't prove that I hit anybody or hurt my kids when I ask for help from you guys okay see any rude in my life over nothing please are you okay okay kids that are scared of their dad unfortunately I don't know I have two charges my career is over sir yes I've lost my job well you can
