I want like someone to come and get come here to get you so you don't have to even go through that. You know what I mean? >> Thank you. >> So, I'm going to read you something. Okay? And I'm going to give you the pen. I just need you to initial next to each line if you understand. Okay? We're fill it out together. You have the right to remain silent and refuse to answer any questions. Initial next to that line if you understand. I still have to read them. >> Okay. >> If you cannot afford an attorney, one will be provided if you so desire prior to any questioning. >> A decision to wave these rights is not final and you may withdraw your waiver whenever you wish either before or during questioning initial. Hope you understand. I acknowledge that I have been advised of each of the constitutional rights as initialed above and that I understand these rights. You want to speak with me? >> Yeah, that's fine. >> All right. Can I can I call my brother again? >> Once we get once we get this some of this paper he knows. So once we get some of this paperwork done, I I would I will give you another let you call him again. Okay. Once uh once you give Brett samples, you can call him again. Okay. Yeah, you'll have a court date. >> Can you take my breath now? >> No, we got to wait 20 minutes. That's why we once once the gum came out of your mouth then we could start the observation and then we could take your breath samples. >> I just have like really bad really bad anxiety and I know that's that's like complete [ __ ] >> You're pulling somewhere for a DUI. They have anxiety. >> No, I get it. >> Dude, >> okay. I know. It's a big [ __ ] I don't want to. >> Do you want a I can't give you a water right now. Once we take the breath samples, I can get you water. Are you sick at all? >> No. Are you under the care of a doctor? >> I mean, I had pink eye this week. >> I was taking pink eye drops. >> No, that doesn't matter. >> Are you taking any medicine? >> Um Are you injured? >> What kind of alcoholic drinks have you had tonight? >> A tequila soda. >> Just one. >> A fireball shooter. One fireball shooter and a tequila soda. But a couple months ago, I was on like um the weight loss shots, so it turned me into like I have a couple drinks. I get really drunk. >> So I I think that's why I got as drunk as I did and I didn't really realize. >> So you've only you only had two drinks tonight. >> But it was a fireball shooter, which like that's that's going to get someone drunk. Where were you drinking? >> Uh, at my friend's house. >> What was the time between each of the drinks? >> Like 9 9 to 12. Okay. Between the two drinks, like how many minutes in between? >> Oh, a good amount of time. But like I take full accountability because I didn't drink for years because of the shots I was on for weight loss >> and I knew that it like lowered my tolerance >> and I've just recently started drinking again. So, I took one of the fireball shooters and I drank a mixed drink, a tequila soda that I made myself and it it it got me like a little more drunk than I should have been to drive. So, that is my fault, but that's all I had. >> Okay. How much time did you take between the fireball shooter and the tequila soda? >> Maybe like an hour or less. Yeah. >> I know these questions are redundant. So, when did you have your first drink? 10:00. >> 10:00. >> Mhm. >> When did you finish your last drink? What was time? What time did you finish your last drink? >> Over an hour ago. I know. It's been a long time. What time is it right now? >> It's 2:30. >> 2:37. >> Okay. So, yeah, like probably like 12 or 1. >> 12 or one. One. Closer to one. Closer to 12. >> 12:30. >> 12:30. All right. >> But I don't drink anymore, so it makes me lightweight. And I should have known that. I shouldn't have driven. What time did you finish eating >> today? >> Yep. >> 7. >> 7:00 p.m. >> Yeah. >> What' you eat? >> Drunken noodles. >> Drunken noodles. like pad thai drunken noodles from like a uh like a it's called bamboo leaf in Bradley. It's like Thai food. >> Okay. >> So drunken noodles is like bell peppers, chili sauce, onions. >> I didn't even hear about that. Sounds good though. >> It's delicious. It's really good. Am I allowed to call my brother to tell him not to tell anyone? >> I don't know. >> Like I said, once we finish the breath test, I'll let you call him again. >> When can we do that? >> Uh 20 minutes from >> Should be about 3 minutes. Should be about 3 minutes. >> Okay. All right. Um What would happen if I blew under a8 a 08? >> Um, I mean, you're still going to have to go to court, >> right, >> for it? Uh, >> honestly, >> you just go from there. Like, >> okay. >> It's it's up to the court, your law, your your lawyer. Do you get one? What what happens from there? to the prosecutor. You're 24. >> Yes. >> So, what what was the address of your friends? Do you know? >> No. Just in Belmar. Where? Where? >> Just in Belmar. >> What street? >> 16th. on 16th Avenue. You don't know what house number Cab it should be uh 2 minutes. >> Yeah. >> Right. >> 43. >> Yeah. I will do anything with you as well, too. I just want to talk to my brother. >> Yeah. Once once you give the bread samples, I'll let you call him. >> Okay. >> I'm going to try to get all this done so when he's here, you can just leave. >> Okay. >> I don't want I don't want to keep you here any longer than you want to be here. >> What else do you need? >> Nothing right now. I just we're waiting for the 20 minutes to be up and then you're just going to give your breath samples and I'll write you a couple tickets and >> you can leave with your ride. >> They didn't show they they're not here yet. They're right. Did you see anyone outside? >> No, not yet. >> All right. >> Yeah, we'll let you call them after you hear the bride samples. >> Yeah, the samples you bathroom order. We'll get you some water. >> I'm sorry, guys. I think she said it started at 23. >> I thought it was 22, but 23 is better cuz I had her I had her spit out gum. >> So, she hasn't >> I'm sorry, guys. This sucks for all of us. >> Where do you teach? >> In Romson. >> Oh, nice. Like that's a it's a nice area. >> Yeah, I teach at a a private school in Romson. Cool. >> Yeah. Probably probably not going to be great for me for them to hear this, but >> Well, I mean, just read your read your contract. I mean, >> you're right. It's my fault. I'm not living you guys. You know that. >> Yeah, but you're you're also an adult, so it's up to you if you you know, >> if I want to tell them, right? >> Yeah, >> you're right. I mean, obviously double check if there's any fine print in your contracts or stuff just to protect yourself, but >> I've been there for 5 years, so I feel like at this point they're not going to do like a random a random background check. Right. >> That's up to them. >> Yeah. >> Right. You're right. >> I mean, yeah. If they do, I'll say like, "Yeah, I [ __ ] up on the weekend. That's my fault." But it's my fault. >> Is it 43? >> Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. This >> Yeah, you can all his brother. >> Yeah. Okay. All right. Uh, so she's doing the alco test now. >> Sure. >> And then we just have to do some paperwork. Okay. >> Um, do you have your ID on you? >> Yep. >> Okay. Cuz uh then I'll once everything's done, I'll be able to release her to you. >> Sure. >> All right. So, let me just go fill out that paperwork now. >> Um, we'll explain to her, too. As far as our car, it goes to Bennett's Towing in Neptune. Okay. >> Um, but it has to be held for 12 hours. >> Can you guys tell me what happened? >> Uh, she's driving under the influence. >> Where did you guys Where'd you get pulled over? >> Uh, I guess she left Joe's Surf Shack. Her car was over there. >> She was She left there, drove away from there >> out of Joe's. >> Yeah. >> Okay. >> Yeah. >> And were you >> I I wasn't the one that pulled >> Okay. I'll talk to her about it. Okay. >> Yeah. Yeah. I guess she went through a couple of stop signs and then was pulled over. >> Okay. >> I don't know the specifics of everything. I wasn't actually there. >> Okay. >> All right. >> Yeah. What can I do at this point? >> No, I just hang out. I'll fill out the paperwork and stuff like that. Like I said, >> you guys can release her to me. >> Yes. >> Yeah. But yeah, she just has to do the testing and uh just some paperwork and then we'll be able to release it. >> Okay. All right. >> Okay. Where do you stay here? >> Yeah, you can hang out right here. Thanks. >> The first is failure to stop at a stop sign. The next is reckless driving. And then driving under the influence. Okay. >> Okay. >> And uh I'll walk you out to your brother here. You can take these. >> Thank you. >> You make it right. >> Do you have a purse? >> Uh, no. We didn't take your purse. >> It was still in my car. >> It's in the car. >> Yeah, it's in the car. >> Okay. >> Yeah. >> Okay. >> It's right right down to the brown door.
