look at innocent lives taken too soon and the moment a father realizes his daughter was killed on a summer day in New Mexico police respond to a call claiming a 13-year-old girl had been shot officers arrive at the scene and do their best to save the child's life are you here here started you said you do have window fire you can proceed to the of she alive is there anything I can get she she still find any evidence of a shooting then the case takes a heartbreaking turn when this 13-year-old girl is pronounced dead now this crimes become a murder as police begin to interrogate all the witnesses they uncover a chilling new twist in the case old chilling happened a good old time we just like went to the backyard and we're D nice with his goats and we ended up going to the front and we ended up going back into his house and then next thing the know he pulls out I think it's a revolver the one that has like a spinning Barrel okay he pulls out one of those it was a handgun yeah okay who does and then he ends up pointing it at her and and she went to let to go give me give me one second okay pulled out a a 22 was it a 22 what what kind of revolver do you don't know you just know that you just know that it was a revolver handgun yeah I know one of those got you okay and he points it at her and she wants to go like like take it away from her face right all of a sudden you just hear a boom I look and I see her fall to the ground and I see you know she starts to ble so he shot her in the face with with the handgun where where where were you guys when he shot her with the handun um oh I think uh the kitchen you guys were inside the house when it happened yeah the witness tells the police that another teenager is responsible for this grizzly crime and that he shot the young girl in the face um at what point did uh did somebody start cleaning up blood um I think I really didn't see him do it all that much but um say something is it okay if I speak to anything tell him what he wanted you to help them do he wanted he asked help and carry her to the roads he could dve when I forgot about that well um when like he was like over there when he said he was going to kill himself he kept asking me or like and like uh if like to get her to the road to say like somebody drove by and shot her like could drive by there was a story of a vehicle driving by oh yeah he he made that story of whenever uh he shot her and took her outside when what did he tell you about that he triy to make up the story that the driveby happened like right like next to that dumpster in front of his like on the road Tracy Drive by happened right there and that her brother went to his house freaking out about it and they ended up dragging her over there so let me get this straight this teenager dragged around the wounded 13-year-old girl to cover up his crime if this kid hadn't wasted so much time maybe the paramedics would have been able to save her and now comes the moment that all police parents criminally responsible for negligent use of a firearm accessible to a minor this gun wielding 14-year-old boy was charged with first-degree murder and tampering with evidence in Jacksonville Florida police are called to a house when a woman claims that her sister is not allowing her to see her own 5-year-old daughter if you had paperwork right now if you gave me some paperwork and said hey you were allowed to see this child then okay cool we get the child to you okay but I can't just give you the child okay it don't work like that I'm saying but if I don't have the pap but if I can get something that said I and you had paperwork signed by the judge and signed by the caregiver in the courts no I don't if you can get it on the P would that work no no it doesn't work like that no I can't just do that okay I'm sorry now yes ma'am until you can get some paperwork that tells me that you have access to the child currently for visitation location of your emergency hi um I would like to go for a kidnapping where you at I am in Jacksonville Florida okay are you the one kidnapped who who was kidnapped the came and took her um and she just fed off in the car with her she has no custody at all she has zero custody I have all the paperwork we literally just had the cops come today because she was um in my house trying to like she was here at my house trying to take her and we said no and she took her anyways this mother lost custody of her child so she can't just pick her up whenever she wants she's also noticeably pregnant with another child which makes what's about to happen even more Terri suddenly a rainstorm hits and police find themselves in pursuit of the woman on a 30m chase while the little girls in the car she's all the way out there yeah VI's in there 794 the vehicle is in the middle of the pond we're going to enter the water hold on that ready was there a child in the [Music] car you couldn't see the [Music] car it's a t and chaotic scene as police realize the child's still in the car the woman is screaming for her baby but if she truly cared about her own child she wouldn't have put herself in a position to lose her it's a Race Against Time as The Rescuers dive into this dark water to find this little girlt that way 10t this way nor North yeah yeah 10 ft we put the up are they on it are they on it he extends the aial get somebody on the tip looking down that's what he's doing Rescuers did their best to search for the child but unfortunately they couldn't get to the car in time to save her her body was recovered inside the vehicle when the car was pulled out of the lake later and what was the mother's reaction to killing her own [Music] daughter can you take that for me this yeah I don't need that you're going to get cold okay okay spitting on the cops when this situation was entirely her own fault I guess if she couldn't have her daughter then no one could she was charged with aggravated child manslaughter vehicular homicide battery on a law enforcement officer battery on an emergency medical person and aggravated fleeing or eluding causing death leaving your baby with a person can obviously be scary but a parent's worst nightmare is realizing they left their baby with an evil person this story starts on February 3rd 2021 in Dunwoody Georgia police are called to a daycare after a toddler becomes unresponsive hey guys right here he laying face down in the bed clear analyzing heart rym clear of patience analyzing heart no shock at let's go let's go be sure emergency medal Serv is this y'all's child I have a family down and picked one up right he was in there he was yes yes yes the woman claims she placed this little boy on his back and that he rolled over by himself she also says the baby normally wakes up at 3:00 p.m. for his body but she let him sleep today until 3:45 p.m. so in all that time she didn't go downstairs to check on him and see that he might have rolled over onto his stomach the mother of the baby's notified and she rushes to the scene I have her go in the ambulance with them Scott is right ma'am get go in the ambulance right there they're they're getting ready to go this is Mom I notice you have cameras they record 24/7 I believe so yeah or is it just motion that's a great question I'm not positive okay that's okay will we be be able to access those I think so get the footage like the like the families don't it's not like something that I share with the families it's a CL no yeah I understand mattress pad she said that was the mattress pad but it looks like it's there's no pad in there I know that's what I said but she said that's what he was sleeping on they're all like that though I don't know what to tell them either but just tell them a baby had an emergency and I can I can escort you out when you drop the babies off they have any questions they I can answer those for you this woman seems more upset now that she has to tell the other clients what happened than she was when she described how she found the poor child earlier this situation takes a turn for the worse when after six attempts to get the baby's heart started with epinephrine the little boy dies numbers for y let me make sure they're correct cuz I will be coming over later or at least following up with you the Heartbreak confusion and despair on this father's face is hard to watch He's slowly coming to terms with what's just happened to the most precious thing in his life everyone's been told so far that this was all an accident but after thorough investigation police decide to make an arrest hey Miss Amanda oh can you step out here for just a minute please okay I want you turn around face me if you change run your back okay you are being placed under arrest okay just I can tell our attorney what is she being arrested for felon murder and cruelty to children in the second degree you probably need to stop I I didn't hear you say fon heard you say felony murder and I I wasn't aware evidence was in the video footage watches one of the detectives demonstrates to the parents what happened to their son so I'm just going to use this door as her door excuse me so he was standing kind of like this you know looking out the window there so she comes up and then and Mr gr was standing next to him so she walks up and opens the door right and his feet are hitting it stopping the door for moment she does that four times okay then you can tell that she gets annoyed by that and that's when she grabs him right one one arm on each spins around okay and there it's it's open here so he doesn't get anything so when he spins around she's not paying attention she's still looking at the door and then drops him so when he hits the ground his feet come up up over his head he kind of rolls up uhuh and his feet move over to the side so that shows me a couple things one it wasn't just a gentle set down not only did this evil woman hurt other children in her care but she also ignored guidelines that state you don't leave a baby face down and then she didn't check on him for over 2 hours she was charged with second-degree murder Reckless conduct and multiple counts of Cruelty to Children she was later sentenced to 35 years in prison these videos depict days that no parent will ever forget thankfully police officers caught the people responsible for these heinous acts and then
