I got a mental problem. I got trauma. Can you leave me alone? Can you leave me the alone, bro? My hands is in the air. Go ahead, kill me. Go ahead and kill me. Don't say nothing to me, bro. Don't say to me, bro. >> What the are you doing to me? >> Hands behind your back. >> I didn't do anything. >> 34% backups rotation. >> While fast food establishments attract families looking for a quick bite to eat, they're also a magnet for rowdy customers. Youing. Youing. >> Put your hand behind your back. You are actively resisting. I will tase you. I am legally alone. Put your hand behind your back. >> Nope. >> However, the last thing a family should have to do is shield their children from belligerent individuals. And when customers take things too far, we see what happens when cops have had enough of entitled fast foodies. >> What? I gave you my name? >> No, you didn't. You didn't give me your information. Stop. >> You said what's your name and your feelings? >> You're back. >> So you going to lock me up for that? On September 1st, 2024, an officer was dispatched to a McDonald's after a woman demanded a refund over a botched order. However, what was originally a simple misunderstanding turned into something far more serious when the woman refused to comply. >> I for my money back. >> What's going on? Let me Let's go figure. >> I asked for a tomato and lettuce. >> I want my money back. >> Okay. I don't want to waste my time. >> Okay, hang on. >> Prepare it for me. I want my money back. I can't make them do that. Just give me a second. >> I don't want my receipt. >> That doesn't mean I can't make them give you your money back. They can give you your order. >> That's cool. >> But let me talk to them. I don't >> I said that too. I said, "Can I get my last name back?" That was the first thing. But then when she said, "I'm going to call the police." I said, "Well, give me my money back and let me leave your status." Okay, just give me a second. All right. Thank you, man. >> The officer was in a chip mood and was more than happy to help the woman, Carolyn sort out the situation. Although the staff agreed to alter her order, [music] they informed her that they couldn't issue her a refund as she had already eaten some of her original order. >> If you want, I'll ask them to get you lettuce and tomato and you can put it on there yourself. >> I asked him >> again. I wasn't here, so I didn't see any of that. >> When I brought this stuff with him, and I said, I'm going to be calm. I told him, I said, let me be calm and quiet cuz it was a lot going on right now. Very busy. So, I said, well, I tell you what I want. I want a double fish since >> you got that. Let me get Let me get you let the sauce on the side. >> Okay. >> Let me ask I think they might charge you for the sauce. Can I get >> Oh, okay. Just a piece of lettuce and tomato. You can have it if that's okay with you. >> It seemed the officer had found a solution that worked for everyone. But things aren't always what they seem. Carolyn kept making new demands, telling the staff she wasn't going to go anywhere until she received a fresh order of fries. Sensing that it wouldn't be an open andsh shut case, the officer asked for the woman's identification. >> Got your ID real quick because I >> No, I don't have no ID. >> Okay. Well, I need to get your name. >> Give me a second. I got to write it down. >> I'm not going to give you all that. >> No, no, you you actually No, I don't. >> No, you do. And if you don't, you're going to go to jail. I don't want to play this game. >> You want to put me in jail? Put me in jail. >> It's called obstructing obstructing justice. >> Put me in jail for obstructing justice. >> Okay, then. All right. Are you going to refuse? Are you going to refuse to give me your name or ID? Yes or no? >> No. You say obstructing justice. If you refuse to give me your identification, >> it's called obstructed justice. No, >> I'm telling you if you're refusing to give me your name because I have >> You said that it's upright. So you do your report. >> That's what I'm going to do. But I need not me. My name is Carol. That's all I'm giving you. >> What is your name? >> That's all I'm Carolyn Douglas. That's all I'm going to do. >> What's your birthday? >> I am not. >> Stop. You're going to give it to me or I'm going to take you and I'm going to take your picture and fingerprints and your food's going to be even colder. So it's really simple. If I take you into custody, then I'm going to go through all your stuff and I'm going to find your ID. >> But I'm not a criminal. >> I'm not. She might be. >> Is she in pain? >> Yes. >> How am I paying? >> Because right now you're >> right now she's obstructing justice. >> No, I'm not in obstructing nothing. I came here to eat my food. It needs to go to court. Need to be >> by telling me refusing to give me your name. You are obstructing. >> No, she's not detained. She She did not have to give you your information. >> Yes, she does. >> No, she did not. How you going to tell me if someone is not detained? >> I just told you she's detained. Not only did the officer have to argue with the nosy woman over the finer points of the law, but it sounded like he also had a Karen on his hands. He told the suspect that the last thing he wanted to do was to take her to jail. But if she didn't provide him with her ID, he wouldn't have a choice. >> What's your birthday? >> I'm going call my lawyer right now. >> You're under arrest. >> I'm not going to call my lawyer right now, but I'm call You're under arrest. >> If you want to arrest me, Hold up. Don't arrest me now. Don't do it. >> I want my phone. Turn around behind your back. Bear to arrest for obstruct. Stop. For obstructing identification. Obstructing. >> Don't tell me. No. The minute you start pulling away. >> No, I'm not obstructing identification. >> Stop. Hand behind your back. Don't. >> Okay. Give me your other hand. Put it behind your back. >> Can I give you my name only? >> No, you did not. You refused multiple times. >> I did not. >> Here's the deal. You're physically resistant. I will tase you. This is a taser. >> Put your hand behind your back. You are actively resisting. I will tase you. I am legally alone. Put your hand behind your back. >> Nope. Too late. You're under arrest. >> You want to go to the ground? >> No. >> Then stop. >> The time for talking things through was over. The officer had approached her cordially, offered a win-win solution for both parties, but still none of it was good enough for Carolyn. on the ground. Stop. Hand behind your back. >> Really? This how we going? Over a goddamn sandwich. >> Turn around on your stomach. Put your hands behind your back. >> What? I gave you my name. >> No, you didn't. You didn't give me your information time. Stop. >> You said what's your name? >> Your back. >> So you going to lock me up for that? >> Yeah. Put your hands behind your back. >> The wrong. >> Yeah, you did. You obstructed that. You obstructed her she was detained before. as you ask her for her ID under arrest and you ask her for her ID legally by law you do not she did not have to be here you hire your name or her ID or anything >> I'm not worried about her all I'm saying is >> I'm not worried about her name in my person and she was wrong she said yes put your arms behind your back >> I said yes the receipt >> you're under arrest now you're resisting it's additional >> yeah you are resisting >> then knock it off >> to answer the Karen's question yes The officer had repeatedly mentioned that the suspect was being detained. In fact, he warned Carolyn several times that if she didn't provide him with her ID, she would be placed under arrest for obstruction. >> Put your hands behind your back. I told you 10 times. >> No, you didn't. You told me three times. I told you about >> Put your hands behind your back. >> Okay. Can I get my hand? >> No, not right now. >> What am I supposed to do? >> Put your hands behind your back. I will get you your hand. >> Stop. >> Oh, you have your arm. >> Yes, I've got your arm. I need >> hand behind your back. Hand behind your back. >> I can't get my arm back like that, man. >> You can't get my arm back. Ask me again. My hand behind my back. >> Give me your hand. >> Like that. >> Listen. >> It's called pressure points. Pink comp. >> Put your left hand behind your back. >> She's cuffed on that hand. >> Stop. Stop resisting. Stop resisting. All right. Miss, just stand up. You're the one leading forward. >> After what seemed like an eternity, another officer arrived on the scene and together they eventually managed to get [music] the suspect into cuffs. Next, they led her out of the establishment to a nearby police cruiser and prepared to take her to jail. >> Ma'am, I've also got your food, your fries, AND YOUR TOMATOES. >> THEY TOLD YOU THEY WAS WRONG. THEY SAID THAT'S WHAT YOU DID. SHE didn't have I'm calling. They said she did ask you that. She did. >> That's not what she told me. >> It was already on the receipt. >> No, it wasn't. I've got the receipt. >> I GOT THE RECEIPT IN MY POCKET, TOO. You're not wrong at all. I ordered what I ordered. >> It's not detained. You're under arrest. Okay. If you need help getting down, I don't want you to fall. >> You told me to be quiet. Don't say nothing. >> I didn't say that. Oh, I did a couple of times. Told you to walk away. Let me hand you. >> I did walk away. Then you kept COMING BACK. TELL ME I WAS YOU KEPT COMING BACK. >> YOU SAID THAT I was dis I was against the law. HOW WAS I AGAINST the law? >> I told you five times already. >> I gave you everything you need. >> No, you did not. absolutely did not. >> She still didn't seem to understand that she was entirely responsible for her predicament. At the police station, she continued to exhibit the same entitled behavior that landed her [music] in cuffs in THE FIRST PLACE. >> [screaming] >> I'M JUST my >> If you'd like me to switch them, I'll put them on a different your other arm. That's up to you. I'm trying to explain that, but you keep on interrupting me. >> All right, just let this be known. I am not going to talk to you if you continue to yell AT ME. GET [screaming] ME OUT OF HERE. >> OKAY, we're going to continue to yell like that. We're not going to go through the paperwork with you. All right. You're too HOSTILE RIGHT NOW. Calm down. [screaming and crying] >> She had every right to proclaim her innocence. But she was going about it in completely the wrong way. If she were truly innocent, then she had nothing to fear. And even though the officers released her with a notice to appear in court, she was anything but ungrateful. >> I know. >> I asked for lettuce, tomatoes, and and fish >> and order fries on the side. >> And you got that? >> No, I didn't. That's why I was back. >> She brought her everything. I'm like, you didn't. I said, well, you know what? I'm not going to lie about it. You go cold for me. It's going to call. The reality is we still had to show up. >> And I was cooperative with you. >> You weren't. You didn't provide your name. >> We was cooperative the whole way until you said, "Caroline, you are a special." That pissed me off. >> Okay. I do something wrong. >> Because I was there to make a report and I needed your name and date of birth. >> And I gave you my name, but I need my birthday. >> I know you did. That's part of the requirement. >> Make sure you make your court date. >> You make sure you make my court date. >> If they request me to be there, I will. >> I hope they do. >> Okay. >> I ain't ain't no y'all. And that's why I call police, too. I said, "You come down here and see what's going on. >> I don't know if you have a problem with alcohol or not. >> If you need help, if you need help, there's help out there." >> No. No. Ma'am, this way. Wrong way. Wrong way. >> You've been drinking. Here's the deal. You've got a couple. I want to make sure I want to make sure you know there's help available if you WANT IT. >> 20 YEARS AGO. Shut up. >> It's still going on. >> Shut up. Carolyn was charged with two counts of resisting or obstructing a peace officer and was released with a notice to appear in court. On September 9th, 2023, police officers were dispatched to Burger King following reports that a couple had damaged property and attempted to fight employees over a misunderstanding regarding chicken nuggets. >> Hello. Is everyone okay? >> We were actually behind the bar. We were behind the car, but >> was it in the driver? >> Yeah, he came in here. He >> They just They just start acting crazy, these people. And she she's I'm like, >> "Are you injured at all?" >> He hit me in my thing with this thing right there. They threw this magazine at me. They threw trays at me. >> Were they back here? >> No, they >> No, they right here. They took blue trays off and they slung them at her. >> They threw drinks in the door. >> Okay. >> And they hit another lady back there, too. >> We'll figure it out. We have uh I told the other people to go look for them, so we got the plate from you guys. >> The employees were visibly shaken up over the altercation. To gain a better understanding of what had transpired, the officer questioned the employee further. And let's just say the rampage occurred over something more stupid than spilled milk. They throwing stuff where they in the drivethrough >> both in the drivethru and in here. So she comes around, she gets out her car. She They're like, "Come on, let's fight. Let's fight. Let's fight." I'm like, "Girl, I'm not about to fight you over some nugies. You can get out of here with that. Take your take your men out." I was like, "Come on, let's fight. Let's do this. Let's do this." Next thing you know, some man came in here in a whole different car and they just all just started throwing stuff at me, throwing this at me. >> Three people total. >> Three people total. But they were just mad cuz you said it was four piece. >> Yes, they got that angry over a four piece nugget. >> As the employee recalled, the suspects had hurled much more than just cold fries and nuggets throughout the restaurant. Apparently, they threw anything they could pick up and use as a projectile. >> What throwing someone from back here? >> It was you know the glass box of cookies that we usually have here. >> Oh. Oh, yeah. >> They threw that at me. >> The display one? >> Yeah. And it broke on my hand. >> That's glass. You said, >> "Yeah." >> Okay. >> Which one threw it actually? Do you remember? >> It was the guy. >> Yeah. >> Did you hear what we said between them? >> Yes. Uh the manager was just said that >> Well, you ordered the four piece, but since you're saying the eight piece, we'll do that for you. And I guess they took that as disrespect. And before we ever get their other orders, they just drove in. And then since we were busy, the line was slow and they also got hydro because of that they and then they pull up and I see the I see the shift I see the store manager go up talk to him and then I look I go this way and I look back and there's but there's a cup being thrown at her. >> While the officer was busy taking the employees statements, other officers had tracked down and stopped a vehicle in which one of the suspects, Sheree, was traveling. But as is typical in this case, she attempted to portray herself as a victim. >> So I left the grocery store. I stopped at Burger King to get my kids some nuggets. So I'm in the drive-thru and I asked for nuggets. The lady on the intercom with an attitude. That's not what you said. You said it. So they left her sitting in the drive-thru forever. So I'm like I got to the window. I was like, "Just cancel my order. I don't want it no more cuz you ru you in customer service. You don't talk to people like that." And she look I don't got time for this. She threw a whole You see all this pop all over my car? She threw popped inside of my car, wet my daughter up, wet my young kids in the back seat. So I got upset and I was like, "No, you're not going to do that." So I pulled into the front. The young guy came out saying he the manager. I was like, "So you let your workers do stuff like this? Just go pop and expect nobody not to do nothing back." I was like, "No, that's not how it work." I was like, "I'm calling the police." I said, "I'm reporting y'all." I was like, "And don't mess around and beat this lady." I'm not going to lie. I did say that. >> Was there in Did you like your husband or something go in the store as well or >> I don't know who came in? I was so upset. Honestly, I just like I was yelling at this lady and I pulled off and turned off the down the side by uh what is that? Planet Fitness. >> Okay. >> Cuz they were saying your Suburban was there as well. >> My husband is at work. >> At work. >> Yeah. >> Okay. So, he wasn't there at all with the Suburban. >> My husband is at work. He works at Dick. He's at work. He the only one there at the store. >> Okay. Essentially, Sheree was claiming that her reaction was a form of self-defense because an employee threw a soda at her first, causing her to lose her temper. However, the officer wanted to know what happened once she entered the restaurant. >> So, when you went inside, what happened when you went inside? >> When I went inside, we was yelling and I told her, I was like, "You don't uh you don't treat people like that. You come from around the corner." I told her, I was like, "I'm about to beat your That's what I did tell her that you I got something for you." She got on her phone and started dialing something. I was like, "I don't care." I was like, "I'm not from here, but you not going to sit up and disrespect me like that." And then she started just talking from behind the corner. We threw some stuff over the the napkin holder and all of that crap over the counter. And she still didn't come out. And I was just like, "Okay, whatever." But nobody came from behind the counter. We was fighting from over the counter. >> Over the counter. Yes. And you threw a napkin holder. >> No one's hands touched. >> Nobody's hands touched nobody. But I ain't going to lie. Did knock all this off the counter. >> Knocked all the off the counter. I'm sorry. >> And then you threw a napkin holder. >> Yeah. >> Throwing a napkin dispenser at an employee might have seemed funny to Sheree, but little did she know that she had just admitted to assault. And although she originally told the officer that her husband, Tiveres, wasn't involved as he was at work. She admitted that he worked across the street from Burger King and that she had called him. >> Um, I did. My husband did come up there, but I'm going tell you I lied cuz I didn't want him to get fired for leaving his job. Okay. Can I have you step out of the car with me? >> So, I'm just going to talk about my truck. Okay. >> You know what I'm saying? >> I said my husband came up there, but he came up there and he started dude taking pictures of the car and my kids was crying and he came in there and told us to leave. Basically, he was like, "Y'all get the f out the door. Just leave." I didn't say nothing cuz I didn't want him to get in trouble cuz he did leave his job without nobody else being in front of. What was your daughter? >> Just yelling basically. Yeah, just yelling. >> What made you guys want to sign? >> Because she threw the pop. Like she threw it and it went all on my kids and I got mad. Like really that's the only reason I even went in there. I'm like that was just unacceptable to me. And then I went in there to really file a complaint with the manager, but then they just automatically was rude and it just like I got triggered. I'm not going to even lie. Although Sheree had initially claimed that an employee threw a soda at her, she eventually confessed that she had thrown water on the employee first after feeling disrespected. And with a full confession, there was only one thing left to do. >> Place under arrest, though. >> Okay. Nice and cooperative. >> Okay. You want your phone? Oh, it's all right. >> If I can't talk on it, ain't no point in having Nothing sharp or anything on you, right? Nothing. >> Nothing. >> No. >> Okay. >> With Sheree secured in the back of the police cruiser, the officers transported her to the police station for further processing. Next, they made their way over to the restaurant where her husband Tiveres was working to confront him. >> Got a call, y'all. My son got thrown up. I did go. I'm not going to lie to you. My son throwing up the car, man. My daughter was in the back seat wet as hell. It's pop all over the car, bro. >> Okay. >> I'm on the phone. I'm a supervisor. I'm on the phone. I'm listening to everything. I'm telling them like, chill, chill out. I even talked to the to the lady, the black lady. She swore she was the supervisor. She wasn't the supervisor. >> Tiveres admitted to losing his temper, but claimed his behavior was justified given that an employee had thrown a soda all over his wife and kids. However, he seemed to have no idea that his wife had thrown water at the employee [music] first. >> So, I'm not saying what the other person did was wrong or what was right. Okay. But I talked to your wife. She told me she threw water at her first. >> I didn't know that. What she talk? Wait a minute. Who? Your wife threw water at the lady first. >> No, she didn't. >> That's what she told me. Why would I lie to you? I'm not lying to you. Your wife is very nice. >> I disrespect you. I'm not >> No, I'm not saying that. But she did. So, she's like, I did. I was upset. I threw I threw water at it and she threw the soda and it hit your kids. That's what she was telling us. That's kind of how it started. She said she was upset. So, if you didn't see that, that's fine. It's not a big deal. >> You telling me my wife threw something first? And I'm being I'm not being lying to you. I'm just being straight up and down with you. >> I appreciate you. No, that's what she told me. Yes. >> And I know I see you not lying, bro. And I I feel up right now cuz man, I didn't get what I didn't get what you got. She didn't give me that story. >> It was a prime example of why you shouldn't act before you have all the information. Unfortunately for Tiveres, attacking employees based on false information isn't an excuse. As a result, he was placed under arrest, [music] but not before the officers allowed him to lock up. >> We have the key so we can lock it up, Ael. >> Okay. >> I got to turn that off, too. AC. >> Oh, >> Sheree was charged with five counts of disorderly conduct and one count of damage to property. As a result, she received a suspended sentence. Tiveres was charged with assault, damage to property, and disorderly conduct. However, the assault and damage to property charges were later dropped. In the end, Tiveres pleaded guilty to disorderly conduct. On January 26th, 2025, police officers were dispatched to Taco Bell following reports that a couple had refused to leave the drive-thru after throwing food at an employee because they claimed he had screwed up their order. >> Put the window down. >> No, put the window down. >> We can't squeeze over there. Yeah. >> You want them out? >> Yeah. >> Yeah. Hey, miss. >> Miss. >> Hey, miss. Can you step out for me, please? >> I I don't want to step out of the car. There's no reason for this. >> Okay. Well, I'm giving you a lawful order, so you need to step out of the car. >> Can I ask why? >> Because I told you to and I'm allowed to. >> But that that's not that's not a reason. >> It is a reason. Now, go ahead and step out. >> Step out of the car. You're going to go to jail. Step out of the car. What have I done? >> I told you to step out of the car because I'm telling you. >> Step out of the car. >> The officer had given the woman, Julia, a lawful order to exit the car. It wasn't a debate. And if she didn't follow his orders soon, there were going to be serious consequences. If she had questions, she could step out of the car and ask [music] them. >> Just step out. >> That's fine. Just step out. >> I just can't do anything. I just >> You're not in trouble right now. Just step out. Come on. >> I don't have to be in trouble because >> I'm not saying you're in trouble. We're trying to investigate a possible crime. Step out. I don't have a lot of room to work. Just step out. >> What is the possible crime? >> Hey, stop reaching over there into the controls. Stop. >> You need to step out of >> Stop reaching over there. >> I can't I literally can't. Just step out. >> Just reaching over pulling stalks. >> He was encouraging her to be non-compliant. pulls up the window. >> Okay. >> By this point, the passenger Damian had been a real thorn in the officer's side. Together with Julia, they continued to ignore the officer's commands to step out of [music] their vehicle. And as a result, the officers began to lose their patience. >> Hey, what's the crime? >> What's the crime? >> Yeah. What's investigation? >> Well, I mean, you're throwing stuff at employees, stuff like that. We just we just want to talk. Okay, then what? Put the window back down. out. >> You're being detained right now. You need to step out of the vehicle. >> It's a I'm not talking to you. I'm talking to her. And yes, you're being detained. Put your window down, please. >> Because you're driving a vehicle. Okay. You're suspected of a crime and we believe you're intoxicated. You need to step out of you need to step out of the vehicle. >> There's no crime committed. >> Okay. So, >> you can get done for this. >> I just needed them to leave my drive-thru. I told them that like >> So, they're trespassing. >> Huh? We're leaving and that's it. >> So, they're trespassing. Do you want them back ever? >> No, we're done. We can leave. We're doing nothing. >> We're not doing anything. >> I'm sorry. >> An employee had already told the officers that she wanted the suspects trespassed from the property. At this point, the officers had already been ordering the couple from the vehicle for nearly 10 minutes. And finally, they had enough. Unlock the car. >> Get out of the car. Step out of the car. Please step out of the car. Please step out of the car. >> Please step out of the car. >> I didn't know. >> Okay. Okay. Okay. >> Easy. We got >> Okay. Okay. I'm sorry. Okay. Okay. >> Okay. I didn't know it was this big of a deal. I'm really, really, really sorry. >> I didn't know. >> You didn't know the 100 times I told you. >> I know. I didn't. >> Ridiculous. >> Not providing your identification. So, we're investigating not only a disturbance, we were investigating a possible domestic between you two. >> And now we're investigating whether or not you're under the influence and you're okay to drive. >> And I don't have to explain because I'm crying >> the way you're talking. I can't talk to you, report some other people. >> I can't even investigate it because you're not doing anything I'm asking you to do. >> Listen, I'm not under the influence. I am being an emotional because my boyfriend of four years has just gotten back in the cop car. >> Listen, I'm just >> And they also don't want you to come back here and get trespass. I have to absolutely >> I have to be able to identify you to advise you of trespass. >> While officers continued to negotiate with Julia, Damian was cuffed, searched, and loaded into the back of a squad car. Throughout his arrest, he continued to play the victim, even though he'd had ample opportunity to step out of the vehicle and speak to the officers of his own free will. >> Julia, bail me out. >> Julia, Julia, bail me out. >> Step back. >> Press me again. Just see what happened. >> JULIA, BAIL ME OUT. JULIA, BAIL. >> That's what happens. [ __ ] >> This is it. You stepping out or no? If I step out, will I not be under arrest? >> Sure. >> I I I >> How many times do I have to ask you, though? >> Because I don't know what I've done wrong. >> Okay. Well, clearly >> I just don't know what I did wrong. >> Okay. >> Can I talk to him before anything happens? No. >> After I talk to you guys? >> No. We're done talking to him for the night. Okay. >> He's with us now. Come on. >> Am I going to be able Is he going to be able to be bailed out in the morning or something? Not a concern right now. I'm talking to you. I will answer those questions for you. >> Okay. >> Okay. >> I don't know why. >> Walk this way. >> Okay. I'm not doing anything. >> I know. I'm just letting you know you're walking this way. That's it. >> After nearly 20 minutes, Julia finally emerged from the vehicle. And just like her boyfriend, she was cuffed, searched, and ushered into the back of a squad car to be transported [music] to the police station for further processing. >> Why you yelling? >> Because I didn't She needs to get me out of jail. >> She's going to jail, too. >> Huh? >> She's going to jail, too. >> For what? >> Same thing you you are obstructing. >> Obstructing. She trying to leave. >> Are you stupid or something? >> She's not complying our command. Just like you. >> What do you mean? >> When you don'tident when I do when you don't identify yourself. When you don't identify yourself and you delay our job. >> That's called obstructing. >> Well, if we tell you to do something, you do it. Period. Hey, I'm sorry, but >> Well, it's too late for sorry, man. >> I didn't do anything wrong. I was in a passenger. [music] >> So, listen. Stop screaming cuz she number one, she can't hear you, and two, she's going to jail >> and you'll probably lose your voice. So, it's probably not the best, right? >> I know, but Julia. >> All right, I tried. >> Damian was upset that Julia was going to jail. However, he was only concerned because she wouldn't be able to bail him out. Before the suspects were transported to jail, the officers conducted a quick search of Julia's bag. >> Phone, wallet, everything right here. Okay. >> Yes. And can I please say something? Anything in there? I have a medical prescription prescribed by a doctor. >> So, anything in there is completely legal. >> How old are you? >> I am 21. >> Okay. It's legal if you're 21 then, right? >> Yeah. No, but I'm saying I have a medical prescription. >> That's fine. I'm just letting you know. It's really important to me to be educated about the law because I thought I was, but there's always more to learn. >> Well, I know there's nothing I can do about it now. I'm sitting here looking like an idiot and I'm literally going to miss [laughter] I don't know how I'm going to pass my freaking exams coming up now. >> Give me a second. I really don't want to cry and make scene. >> Okay. Well, you don't really have. >> Apart from being trespassed from the Taco Bell location, both suspects were charged with obstructing official business and failure to disclose identifying information. In the week leading up to January 12th, 2023, the St. Cloud Police Department had received multiple reports regarding a suspect who would order a foot-long sandwich in Subway, then dash out the door without paying. Sometimes hitting the same Subway location within the same week, and eventually the officers caught up with him after he robbed the wrong employee. So, he has a black hoodie on. Yep. With his hat backwards and it has yellow riding in the shape of a circle. He has like gray pants on and black band shoes. >> He specifically like was getting irritated with me. I started texting 911 that he was here. >> Yep. >> And then >> did he grab >> he grabbed a sandwich from up like I have the surveillance camera and everything that he stole his food. He like reached over the counter and grabbed the food. I can tell you when he got everything and I told my employee not to charge him. She's like I'm not. Do you want to press charges against him? >> Yes, I do. >> With a description of the suspect, the officer was on the hunt. The employee recognized the suspect as he had already been trespassed from the location after causing a scene. And following a tip off as to where he worked, it wasn't long before the officer found him. >> You have an employee who's wearing a black hoodie today with yellow writing on it. >> Um, can I talk to him? >> He's on break right now. He may be in McDonald's. McDonald's. Okay. Um McDonald's. Okay. Um Oh, never mind. I think >> 38 I've got eyes on. Please move. Thank you. He's uh he's evading us. What's >> going on, bud? Take hands out your pocket. Stand over. >> Stand over there. Quit arguing with me. >> The officers got a hold of the suspect and quickly placed him in cuffs. And in classic criminal fashion, he attempted to play the victim, claiming that the subway cashier had disrespected him. Unfortunately for him, even if that were true, it didn't give him the right to steal. All right, ma'am. >> So, you didn't you didn't pay for the food, right? Okay. But I was going to go tomorrow and pay for it. Like it wasn't it wasn't like it wasn't like I was going to steal it. I had the money and I know the manager spoken to the manager before. >> Okay. And >> and I had the money. I could pay for it, but I was I was going to tell the manager like I had problems and I was going to go to the manager the next day and tell her. >> After the suspect was read his Miranda rights, he continued to claim that the employees attitude caused him to snatch the sandwich from her grasp and run away without paying. Still, he was going to have a hard time explaining what caused him to pull the same stunt a half a dozen times in the past at other locations. >> So, today I go in there, it's 4:00, I haven't ate. She She making my She's She First of all, I go in there. I waited for so long. I'm only have a 30-minute break, so I'm getting irritated, sir. And I'm like, 15 minutes. 15 minutes passed by and she's like, "Oh, it's not my problem." So, she's giving me an attitude straight off the bat. So, I So, I Okay, whatever. I let it go. I let it pass then. Okay. >> And then she she makes my sandwich. She turns on the oven. >> Uhhuh. >> She burns the sandwich. >> Okay. >> She burns the sandwich. And then like cuz she she runs off somewhere in the back again. And I'm like, "Lady." So I when she comes back, I told her I was like, "Listen, I only have a 30 minute break." And I feel like we already had this discussion already where you understand that I just want my food and pay for it and get out of here. And then she she grabs the number, grabs [snorts] the phone and start calling people about about my the situation. Okay. And but I already spoken to the supervisor about that. I spoken to him and the next day she the that day that I I spoken I went I went the next day and he and she was there. >> Okay. >> And and it was everything fine. They made my sandwich. But today when I grabbed the sandwich, she wanted she wanted to give me problems and I'm like, "Lady, this is only a 30 minutes. I'm this is bad customers. You're going off of base feelings." Okay. According to the suspect, he stole the sandwich because his lunch break was about to end. Although he had been trespassed from the location, he claimed that he cleared it up with management. To get to the bottom of things, officers returned to Subway to speak to the employees. >> Do you need the footage of the video? >> I was going to say if you do, that would be great. >> I have it and I trimmed it. I can show it to you right now cuz I just sent it to the general manager. >> Okay. Um he's right there and you'll see in one second that he like reaches over the counter. There you go. He steals it and runs out. I can send that to you or send it to whoever. >> Yeah, if you can send it to maybe one of our emails or something. >> Back at the car wash, the owner showed up. Immediately, he took the suspect's side, claiming that he'd had a bad history with the subway employee. However, what she didn't understand was that the suspect had already confessed to the theft. >> He was also told to leave over there cuz he was causing a problem. >> Yeah. But she's only speaking, "I have gone there. >> I have gone there to buy a sandwich for myself." She has stopped me to tell him to not go back there. That's not my problem. That's her problem. I got that. >> That's number one. The fact that she wants to involve my business is the formation of character towards him. >> He she had to deal with him when he's there. >> Well, the thing was he left there and came over here. That's why we came over here >> because he works here and she knows he works here. >> The owner of the car wash wasn't making any sense. The subway employee wasn't trying to defame her car wash. The suspect worked there and had run back across the street after stealing the sandwich. Where else was the employee supposed to tell the officer to look for the suspect? >> You go there also to provoke. >> No, I don't. >> You know better than she is. >> No, I don't. >> You know better than she is. >> Here's the thing, ma'am. >> She said, >> "How old are you?" >> She says, "I need >> You're 30. You're grown, right?" >> I don't call me. >> Yes, you do. Yes, you do. >> Stop arguing with the camera. Sorry. >> Okay. Face the 911 for me. >> Yeah, bro. I'm by myself. It's just not resist. >> I I know. >> ID. Just hang on to it for a second. No problem. >> All right. Come on. >> Do you want me to give this? >> Just give me one second. >> The only way I'm call >> Just give me one second. Okay. >> I'm going to give this to somebody here. >> No cigarettes on the vape. Yeah. Okay. >> Yeah. Yeah. >> We're not We're not going to rush >> some stupid. >> We got plenty of time to talk about it. >> I'm going be I'm be a second. I'll get in the car and we can talk. >> With the suspect secured in the back of the cruiser, the officer prepared to transport him to the police station for further processing, but not before the owner of the car wash gave them some advice. This is the action that I would like to see you guys have. >> Yes, ma'am. >> With the people that come here to harass us, >> okay? >> I want them arrested. You know why? Because that's the only way it's going to stop. >> Okay? >> I guarantee you he's not going to I told him, I said, "Don't go there." >> You don't have money, you tell me. I give you money, you go buy your lunch somewhere else. >> I mean, >> he looked for this. >> I don't know you that well, >> but his his his marbles are not all there obviously. and and and I was just trying to tell him, he didn't want to hear it, but I don't know you that well, but it seems that your passion, you care for him enough to give him maybe a little bit longer than 30 minutes to go get food if he really needed to. >> Number one, and number two, >> you already told him not to go over there, >> which is a decision he decided to make after number one, he wasn't allowed back over there, and you told him many >> his marbles are not there. >> So, he made a decision. >> McDonald's is right there that he could have walked to. He made a grown decision to do what he did and I mean I understand you 100% >> and with the >> his attitude has got to change. >> Yes. >> The suspect was charged with violating a trespass order and theft. However, months later, his charges were upgraded after he was suspected of stealing sandwiches from two other nearby Subway locations. On February 19th, 2024, police officers were dispatched to Starbucks following reports that a woman was behaving unruly, harassing staff and customers. >> Ma'am, can I talk to you for a minute? >> Come here. >> Can I use a message? >> No. Come here for a minute. >> Okay. >> Cuz you've been trespassed from this property, so I need you to come here. >> Are you stay are Are you the one they just called on? >> Why? >> Drinking other people's coffees and stuff. I didn't make anybody else. >> Okay, let me let me find it. Go ahead and use the back. >> Let let me You may not be the person. Let me go find room 318 is my number. My last name is church. >> Okay. >> Can you just walk to the window so I can make sure it's not you? So I can point him out. >> No, come here real quick. >> Just come here real quick so I can check to make sure it's you. >> Okay, go [music] pee. Go pee. With the woman in the washroom, the officer returned to the front kiosk to speak with the employees and obtain a description of the suspect. And sure enough, they described the woman he [music] had spoken to outside the washrooms to a tea. >> All right, let's walk over here real quick. >> No, no, no. We're going to walk over to Starbucks. Hold on. I'm going to put you in handcuffs if you piss me. >> So, what? >> Walk over to Starbucks real quick. I'm telling you my ID is right there. >> I understand that. But they're claiming you stole something and I want to make sure you didn't. >> I have I'm telling you. >> Do not resist. >> Dude, what the are you doing to me? >> Hands behind your back. >> I didn't do anything. >> 34 backups to resistance. >> Why the are you haunting right now? >> Put your hands behind your back. >> What did I do? >> You're being detained. Put your hands behind your back. >> What did I do? >> They're accusing you of stealing. >> I just said I was about to just drop all my stuff out. >> They just said you were stealing. >> Oh, I don't need to steal anything. I have money. Yes. >> I stay here. Haven't I been staying here? >> 3:18. Aaliyah. >> I want to make sure you're not stealing. >> It's hard to imagine what Aaliyah didn't understand. The officer had told her multiple times that she had been accused of stealing from Starbucks, but all she could do was keep repeating that she had done nothing wrong. >> Behind your back. Put your hands behind your back. Ah, >> let go of it. >> It's mine. >> I don't care. Let go of it. >> It's mine. I didn't steal that. >> Just let go. >> Let go of it. >> Steal anything. >> This is illegal as you know. >> All you have to do is follow directions. That's it. >> I was trying to show you. >> That's it. They're accusing you of stealing. I have to investigate. >> Yeah. >> So, it's a crime. >> For stealing? Yes. >> Yes. You heard that right. The officer had to confirm to her that stealing is indeed a crime. After she was cuffed and searched, the officer stood her up and escorted her out of the building to a nearby police cruiser. Let's go outside. >> I wasn't even >> There is no room. >> You didn't pay for it. >> I wasn't even finished. I had to use the bathroom. I'm here all the time. >> You didn't pay for your drink, >> dude. I just used the bathroom. You just watched me. I was coming right back and the ATM was right there. You just pull all these cards on my way. >> You have to pay before you leave the restroom. >> I left it there. I said I'm coming right back. I just told them I'm coming right back. >> All right. >> You all set? >> Yep. Yep. Yep. >> All right. Have a seat. >> Other foot in. >> Yeah. Yeah. >> All right. Foot in. Other foot in. 341sty. >> With Aaliyah secured in the back of the police cruiser, the officers headed inside Starbucks to collect statements from employees, they learned that not only did she steal from the establishment, but she also made other paying customers extremely uncomfortable. So from the beginning >> here she started talking so loud and then she keep asking for stuff she doesn't have money. I'm like okay. Then she start taking things from here and touch them and she >> she started to touch what >> the stuff in front. >> So she started touching the food and then what happened? >> And then she started talking very loud. >> Very loud. Was she disturbing the guests? >> I mean I don't know if they were disturb but she was >> Was she disturbing you guys? >> Yes. >> Okay. And then what happened? And then she goes to the bathroom. She didn't do nothing to us, but she was very insistent >> and then so she went to the bathroom and came back >> and she talked over there. She started talking again, going back and forth. And then >> after speaking to employees [music] and collecting witness statements, the officer turned to Aaliyah again. However, they quickly realized that cooperation was the last thing on her mind. >> First name Get up. Get up. >> Hey, man. Get up. >> I didn't steal anything. There's my identification right there. >> Get up. >> I just gave you my name. I have to give you my security card. I didn't steal anything. There's like identification and stuff right there. What did I do wrong? >> It was hard to imagine how far she thought she would get with her handscuffed behind her back and a fleet of officers around her. Either way, asking what she did wrong after launching a brazen escape attempt was completely delusional. >> There's my money. There's all my stuff. >> Okay. It's cutting me though. I keep on TRYING TO TELL Y'ALL THAT. I MEAN, I TOLD YOU I needed to breathe and you're not helping me. >> It's cutting me. >> Really? >> Yeah. On my right hand. >> I try to be nice and take advantage of it. >> I'm not trying to you. >> Get in. >> There's a white car. >> Get in. >> Come on. >> I'm not trespassing. Get off of me. >> Get in. >> Fix my handcuff there. >> My white one. >> Get in. >> I don't give a >> Get in. Stand up and sit down in the car. >> I'm literally That's right. All right. >> You're going to get tased. I am going to drive. >> I have my My identification's right here. >> Get in. >> My identification is right here. >> Get in. In the back. >> If I were you, I would get in. >> I can't. >> Get in. >> Yeah, you can't. Your legs work. You're going TO GET NOTHING. >> OKAY. OKAY. OKAY. >> Get in. >> Okay. Stand up. >> My right. My right one though. >> Get in. >> Oh my. It's right. Look the white key. You can go in my room right now. 318. >> Move your foot. >> Considering how much she was resisting, she was lucky that the officers only gave her a little shock to the shoulder. Even after everything, she put the officers through. Aaliyah still thought she was in a position to call the shots. >> I was trying TO SHOW YOU I WAS AT THE FRONT DESK. ALL YOU HAD TO DO WAS GO TO THE front desk. >> That's all you had to do. >> Are you done? >> No, because you're not listening. >> Let me know when you're done. >> No, >> because I'm talking here. I'm running the show, not you. So, let me know when you're done so I can explain this to you. Okay, good. >> Okay. You're being charged with disorderly conduct in a licensed establishment. You're being charged with theft. You're being charged with resisting an officer. Those are your charges right now. Okay. It's your birthday. >> It's right there on my ID. >> You don't have an ID. >> Yes, I do. >> It wasn't in your stuff. >> Did you go to 318? >> We're not going to 318. >> Oh, I am not sure. >> All right. Then you have another charge refusing to identify. Aaliyah was charged with resisting without violence, theft, and disorderly conduct. As a result, she was sentenced to 60 days in jail, time served, and fines. But if you thought she was crazy, she had nothing on the next suspect. On March 10th, 2024, police officers were dispatched to a McDonald's following reports that a male suspect had called the police on himself while experiencing what could only be described as a nervous breakdown. >> Now, officer, we need to talk. >> What's going on? >> My friend got in an accident, right? >> Okay. >> And and it was bad, >> right? >> And I I was h I was down here trying to eat. So, I'm down there waiting for them to come come get me, but they got an accident. So, I told the worker to, "Please, can you please call 911?" Is it on a video? Everything recorded, right? >> Yeah. >> Record these. All right, guys. Listen to this. This McDonald down here, I came here. Wait for >> Ne is what you're saying. >> No, I don't need a ride. >> Then what do you >> You guys need to listen what happened. These people over here acting like they working at the McDonald's. They getting fired today. I'm calling them boss and everything. They don't know how to treat a customer. as they'll soon find out the suspect John had it backward as it was he who didn't know how to treat the staff. He wasn't making any sense claiming that he told the staff to call the police for his protection. However, he failed to explain why he needed their assistance. >> What reason? >> Call officer Menso 105. Call officer men right now. >> He's not here. >> What's your badge number? Everything >> call FBI everything here. CI everything, bro. My hands is in the air. >> I don't have gun, nothing. Everything on recording, but everything on recording. I'm about to go live. Hold on. This is serious down here, bro. This is very serious down here, bro. >> It's very serious. >> It's emergency. >> What do you mean? >> My hands in the air. My hands in the air. >> My hands in the ear. Let me tell you, my hands in the air. Please call this McDonald boss today. I am hungry. If they're going to give me McDonald, get me a Macdonald. Get me a Mac chicken. They don't know how to treat a customer. So, they get fired today or I'm getting my McChick. >> For some absurd reason, John told the employees to call the police because they refused to serve him a McChick. Even as they were talking to him, he sounded pretty convinced that the officers would side with him. It seemed more likely that he was experiencing a psychotic episode. Give >> me my ticket. That's all I can. >> Give me my hardware. My item. I want my food, bro. >> Is your food on the table right there? >> Yes. >> It's on the table right here. Yeah, that's all my stuff, bro. >> Okay, we're going to get your stuff and we're going to get out of here. Okay. >> These people are getting fired today. I'm going live. >> I'm going live, bro. I'm going live. They are playing with this. >> They can't play. Call officer narcotic everything, bro. >> Stop. What? >> What you going to do? What's your bad number? >> What's your bad number? What's your name, bud? >> I'm John. I'm John. I'm your John. I'm John King. I'm son of God, bro. I'm son of God, bro. I got a man problem, officer. >> What's your problem? I just came from trauma. I got a mental problem. >> What? >> I got a mental problem. I got trauma. >> Okay. >> Can you leave me alone? >> Can you leave me the alone, bro? My hands is in the air. Go ahead me. >> Go ahead and me. Don't say nothing to me, bro. Don't say to me, bro. Don't say nothing. >> Satan is always around. Shut up. >> John was quickly spiraling out of control. Talking like that while lunging at officers is never a good idea. And if he kept it up, things weren't going to go well for him. The officer's patience only extended so far that he was pushing them to their limits. >> I ain't want to eat McDonald's. Get me a McDonald. Get me a McDonald officer. I'm about to go live. I'm about to go live. >> Leave me the alone, bro. >> Get Get my [ __ ] bro. You guys stay live on the video. Record this. Record this. >> My bad. Record this. >> Yeah, it's going live. I'm armless now. Don't hurt me. Don't hurt me. I will sit down. I will sit down. I'll sit down. >> I'm okay. Okay. I got nothing. I got nothing. >> I need push forward. >> Don't push forward. >> I'm going to officer. >> I got a brother watching me right now. Yeah, I do nothing, guys. Make sure everything recorded. >> John was lucky that he didn't get tased or worse while acting like that. Thankfully, due to the sheer number of officers on the scene after a brief struggle on the ground, the officers eventually managed to get the cuffs on him. >> I know. Let me see what is he doing. Stop turning me around, bro. I'm sick, man. Like, what is you guys >> sitting on me for? >> John, we're going to get you some help. All right, we're going to have you take a seat in the back. >> Calm down. Okay. >> Give me my >> Give me my uh Hey, >> John. Just sit down. Sit down. >> Give me my wallet and everything. >> John, get in the car. >> We're not taking him. Okay. I want to talk to my uncle. >> No, I'm good. I'm >> good. We got to wear some stuff, buddy. >> Why? >> Because it's make sure everything is recorded, man. >> Pick everything up, man. >> I ain't got nothing. >> Bring Brit like a normal human being. >> Can you bring me my back black back black back? He's inside the McDonald. >> He's getting it. >> Yeah. All right. Can you bring my bag behind my >> With John secured in the back of the police cruiser, the officers headed inside to speak to staff and collect witness statements. And unsurprisingly, the staff were just as confused by his behavior as the officers were. >> I didn't know where to send I didn't know where to send him. He kept telling me to call the cops and he looked at me and said, "You're going to lose your job. All three of you." >> Okay? >> And like I said, he said he was going to rob us. Like I'm scared. >> They literally walked behind the counter >> and got the phone off. >> We told him we couldn't have it. We weren't we don't let the the public use our phone. >> So he actually called 911 on that on your phone. >> Yeah, he called 911 on the phone. It wasn't me. And then I had talked to the the dispatch >> and told him what was going on. It was all him. Like I said, I thought I I smelled like liquor and beer on him and that's the only I could think of. >> Yeah. >> Even after getting the whole story, it was still confusing. It seemed as though Jon threw a fit over nothing before calling the police on himself. Whether it was a cry for help or not, the officers attempted to speak with John to gain a better understanding of what had transpired. >> I was hungry. I came down here and these people was rude. Man, I was trying to get food. Officer, >> I'm hungry. I want to eat, right? So, I'm trying to eat. And then I lost my pill. I had a pill, my only my chill pill. So I was hungry and I have to eat first before I take that pill. Doctor told me to eat something before you take the pill. So I came here to eat the McDonald's. They just slow like I'm like, "Oh, you know what? Call 911. They're going to help you." So she didn't call 911. I had to reach for the phone to call 911. >> John's story still didn't make any sense. There was no clarity regarding what caused him to lash out and berate the staff. Suspecting he may have been indeed experiencing a psychotic episode, the officers transported him to the hospital for treatment. >> Bro, open this, bro. >> Hold on. Hey, you guys see this? Yeah. They follow him, bro. I did not do no arm, nothing, bro. So, this guy's going to go down, bro. >> My brother's behind your car right now. See this? Don't play with them, man. Like God is stop doing this. I did not arm, bro. But nobody, bro. You can watch videos and everything. >> John, >> no. No, I'm stopping. >> I'm not going there. Everybody's watching, man. >> I Are you going to give me my bag? >> Bring me my bag, man. Bring my bag. >> See? Yeah. I'm coming, man. My brother coming. Everybody coming. >> Where's my stuff? My bag. >> Hey, we'll get your bag here in just a second. Watch out, bro. John was eventually charged with disorderly conduct and resisting arrest. On July 22nd, 2023, police officers in Lake Geneva, Wisconsin were dispatched to a McDonald's following reports that an intoxicated man was fighting with staff. And let's just say that being drunk was an understatement. >> 26. I think I'm out with one else here. Youing are youing? >> Hey, you shovel a police department. Police department. Put your hands behind your back. Put your hands behind your back now. All right. >> Put your hands behind your back. >> Put your hands behind your back. Stop. Put your hands behind your back. >> What? >> Put your hands behind your back. >> Put your hands behind your back. >> Okay. Okay. >> Okay. Relax, guys. Relax. >> I'm not even that I'm not even that aggressive. >> What's your problem, man? >> Chill. I'm I'm not my problem. I'm trying to get a cheeseburger and these guys don't even give me a cheeseburger. >> Cheeseburger somewhere else, dude. >> Okay, I'll get a cheeseburger somewhere else. So, what the >> What's your guys' problem? >> What's your problem, [ __ ] Huh? You think you got that? Okay. Not the worst. >> Yeah, I got the worst. >> Sweet. >> Yeah. Sweet. Yeah. Okay. >> All right. >> 25. We got one. Yeah, >> got one in custody detain my >> the suspect Marius was beyond drunk and belligerent, but at least he wasn't resisting arrest. If he had, there was a 100% chance he would be on the pavement getting tased. But just [music] because he was in cuffs didn't mean he was finally going to cooperate. >> We don't know. >> Yeah, you don't know me. Yeah, you don't know me. You don't know me. You don't know me. You're young and you you seem like a grown man. Okay, take a breath. Yeah. Yeah. Okay, hold on. Hold on. Hold the on. >> Okay, you take a breath and let me take a breath. Okay. I was trying to get a cheeseburger and you guys are over here like >> You guys are over here like, "Oh, [ __ ] Let me get a in custody custody bottle. >> He wasn't just under arrest because he wanted to buy a cheeseburger. He was under arrest for harassing the employees. Next, while officers questioned Marius, other officers questioned his brother and witnesses. >> He's just gone trying to get back to the hotel. >> You're upset about the cheeseburger. >> I'm upset cuz I couldn't get a cheeseburger. >> Yeah. 10:00. Yeah. I couldn't get a cheeseburger and you're blocking me. You're facing me against a door. >> Yes. >> I'm going to go talk to him in a second. But what did he do? >> I closed Levy. It said the guy came in and put his hands on while he was double-checking the doors. >> Do I want to get Do I want to go to jail tonight? Do I want to go to jail tonight? >> Does anybody want to go to jail tonight? Why don't you chill out and we'll talk like >> because I'm chilling as >> Marius was so drunk that nothing the officer said registered with him. He had it in his mind that he was a victim and nothing the officer said would convince him otherwise. But that didn't stop the cops from trying. >> Officer, let's not play Officer. Listen, let's not play games. Okay? I know the law. >> I'm smart enough to know what the law is. I didn't come. No, I didn't come to no crime. >> Talk to him because clearly he's not. >> That's right. >> Yeah, he is. >> He is. He really >> You're not going to tell me his first name. >> No, you got to ask him. >> Oh, what? Going into a public McDonald's? You're telling me I >> And being loud, profane, boisterous, threatening. >> I can't. No, >> we'll just go to jail. >> I'm going to grab your ID. >> No, >> you're under arrest. >> No, I'm >> Yes, you are under arrest. Yeah. No, no, no, no, no. You want to You want to be all hard with me? That's fine. >> I don't I don't want it. 26. I don't want to do that. I don't want to. But I'm just saying. >> Once Marius finally understood that his behavior affected the outcome of the arrest, he slowly began to comply for at least a little while. However, he still saw himself as the victim in the situation. >> You know, you guys are putting me under arrest and all over this crazy >> story kind of for what? for causing a disturbance in a public or private place for yelling. >> They also asked you to leave and you didn't leave. So, they're stressed out. >> Yeah, I left. Yeah, I was just trying to get cheeseburger, man. Jeez. Like, you know, it's not that big of a deal. Like, it's not really that big of a deal. I public It's a McDonald's like America, right? McDonald's, you know? It's like it's it's a McDonald's, dude. You guys, come on. >> All right. Go take your time out here. People try to >> Can you put the handcuffs in the front of me and instead of the back of me cuz my shoulders are hurting? >> Your shoulders are hurting? >> Yes. My shoulders are hurting? Yeah. >> This You're not going to fight with me or anything like that? >> I'm not going to fight with you. >> Turn your body and I'll put you in two sets of handcuffs. >> With Marius more willing to comply, the officers agreed to double cuff him to make him more comfortable. Next, they spoke to his brother to get a better understanding of what had transpired. >> What's up? All right. So, we're at the hotel down the street. >> He's clearly >> Yeah, he's drunk and intoxicated. Yeah. >> Is there any way we can just get back down there? >> We're only staying a night. We're going to head out. >> He made a bed tonight and he's kind of sitting in it right now. >> I know. >> Okay. The saving grace is if McDonald's doesn't want anything done, then nothing will be done and I'll kick him loose and you guys will be on your way. And if we have any other contact, I will totally take back this this this whole [music] break >> and then he he will go right to jail on these charges that I have against him right now >> for trespassing [music] and for disorderly conduct. >> Okay. >> Well, and this is not an unfrequent thing that happens at this city at this time of day. >> Right. Sounds like you're you're smooth and you're calm and stuff like that. >> I try to get him out. >> It sounds like you were trying to help him. >> Yeah. >> So, what was what got him so agitated? He just keeps saying about the cheese. Thankfully, Marius's brother was much more calm and cooperative. According to him, his brother was just really, really drunk. [music] And as a result, McDonald's employees asked him to leave and refused to serve him, prompting him to lash out. >> I shouldn't even be under handcuffs right now. >> So, what does McDonald's want to do? >> I should permanently trespass right now. >> Just doesn't matter what you did. Okay. As a business, they have the right to refuse service to people. >> I didn't I had nothing wrong with this. >> Doesn't matter. They're hurting my hand. >> Okay, they're hurting. >> They'reing hurting my hand. >> We'll just We're going to [music] get him back to the PD and I'll take your handcuffs off. We're like 2 minutes away. >> Marius was charged and found guilty of disorderly conduct and sentenced [music] to one-year probation. Remember, it's one thing to expect fresh fries when placing your order, but it's another to cause a scene in the middle of a family restaurant. And when rowdy patrons cross the line, they need to learn that there are consequences for their actions. That's when we see what happens when cops have had enough of entitled [music] fast foodies.
