You are literally going by the business name. You are going by what's on my ID. I'm not that I am not that business. I am a living woman. So, who are you arresting? >> Who are you arresting? >> So, what's your living woman name? >> I have no record, you guys. >> Is there someone inside that? >> You You do know. >> Yeah. Thanks. >> When they tell you to leave, leave. >> I was standing on the sidewalk. >> Listen to me. You are going to step out of the vehicle. >> Why would I do that? >> Because I asked you to. >> You don't have any authority over me. >> I do. >> No, you don't. You both are criminals. No, you're going to step out of the vehicle or I'm going to make you get out of the vehicle. >> Some people blur the line between fact and fiction, especially those radicals who convince themselves that the law doesn't apply to them. But when they cross that line, reality catches up fast. And when the handcuffs come out, that's when cops give sovereign citizens a much needed dose of reality. Now we open up the next file. Wait a second. Cuz this this this this where it gets good. This where American Jewish students come in at. My car is not registered to their trust. >> On December 19th, 2024, officers witnessed a vehicle weaving in and out of traffic driven by a man later identified as David. After pulling the vehicle over, they noticed he had license plates displaying as exempt and proceeded to question him about it. >> Hi there. >> Hey, how you doing? >> I'm doing great. How are you today? >> I'm Why do you got your emergency lights on? When What's the emergency? >> The emergency is your vehicle doesn't have a valid registration. >> Yeah, it's private property. A register to the trust, not the QV trust. Uh you on record? I'm on record, too. There is no reason why this officer uh should have his emergency lights on and there's no criminal investigation. I'm a moon bay. I'm a mo is documented. >> Don't start reaching around. >> No, no, no. You good. YOU GO. NO, NO, NO, NO. MY PAPER. GO GET YOUR WHITE shirt >> cuz you I'm not a threat TO YOU. GO GET YOUR WHITE SHIRT. >> NO, YOU DON'T NEED TO. >> I REQUESTED FOR YOU TO GO GET YOUR WHITE SHIRT. >> I HAVE OFFICERS in route. Put your hands on the wheel now. Putting >> Don't reach back. YOU CAN SEE MY CAR. You can see >> Put your hands on the wheel. anything. Put your hands on the wheel. Do it now. >> Putting anything on the wheel. >> If you If you feel like you're in A THREAT OF YOUR LIFE, you need to quit this job. >> You don't need to be. >> IF YOU FEEL LIKE YOU IN THREAT OF YOUR LIFE, QUIT THE JOB. CALL YOUR WHITE SHIRT. >> Can I get another >> Call your sheriff. I need somebody in honor. >> When the officer finally got a word in, he asked David if he had a license. The latter happily answered he didn't and remained fixated on the idea of a white shirt, but he still had a lot more nonsense in store. >> So, are you going to identify yourself? I'm a Moore. >> All right. Do you have your license? >> I'm a national. Yes, I do. I was reaching Hey, come here. Where's the other officer? >> You hold on just a second. >> No, no, no. Cuz he HE REQUESTED FOR MY license right now. Under the six under the fifth amendment constitution, I don't have to give it to you, but to prove that I'm a mor and it's been signed off by a judge in Ohio, I'm going to show you my paperwork and my nationality ID. That shows I got the right to travel. Now, you're asking who I am. We got two officers here. Now, it's three on the scene. All right. So, here's what's up. We're going to have you step out of the vehicle, sir. All right. >> What's the reason I'm stepping out of the vehicle? >> Because >> what's the criminal investigation? It's only two George and Mary time. >> Are you going to let me talk? >> I want TO TALK TO YOUR SHERIFF. I DON'T WANT TO TALK TO YOU. YOU'RE NOT GOING TO >> step out. Step out. >> It probably came as no surprise when David was unwilling to cooperate given all the crazy stuff he'd been spouting so far. He threatened to sue them if they pulled him out of the vehicle. So they calmly explained to him what would happen if he kept on refusing. >> What's the reason that I'm stepping out of the vehicle? >> I tried answering and you cut me off. >> You I don't know. >> So here's >> Okay. So So am I under am I under arrest? >> You're being detained right now. >> Okay. Under under threat of detaining arrest. >> This is a legal traffic offense and I'm legally allowed to have hold. >> Okay. Go ahead and step back there. >> Let me get my paperwork. >> Step back here. >> Okay. I don't consent to no searches. No seizure. >> I don't consent to any. >> Just stand right here for me, sir. >> Any any seizures? >> All right. So, do you have a social security number? >> No, I do not. I got I got an I own my birth certificate. It's in my cart. Can you Can you go in my back seat and get my paperwork? >> After David confirmed he was giving authority to retrieve the paperwork he wanted to show them, one of the officers brought it over. He invited them to look inside his folders. But little did the officers know, they were about to open up a whole new level of crazy. >> What are we opening? >> Okay, open that one. That's my nationality ID. This is the court order that lets you know I'm not black or African-Amean. I'm a Moorish national, part of the original government, the Moroccan Empire. And it's signed off by a judge. This is my DV8, a moon infinite bay, my free national name. This is my nationality ID to let you know I have the right to travel. And it's filed. >> So you live on East 167. >> In the Republic? Yes, I do. >> Cleveland, Ohio. >> Correct. And the Republic. >> What's the Republic? >> The Republic for which it stands. >> David explained the Republic was what the Moroccan Empire stood for and that it was the same pledge of allegiance Americans pledged their allegiance to. Unsurprisingly, the officers had no idea what he was talking about, and they asked him to dumb it down for them. >> There's a Moroccan government that people call it. I've never heard of the Moroccan government. >> Okay. There's the Moroccan government that's called uh that you call the Illuminati, which is the pyramid, the all CNI. And then there's the United States Corporation that's on the right side of the back of the dollar bill, which is the QV trust of Queen Elizabeth, who you took an oath to to protect the assets of their trust. My vehicle is not registered. Now, we open up the next file. Wait a second. Cuz this this this this where it gets good. This where American Jewish students come in at. My car is not registered to a trust. My car is registered to a private trust. Here it is. Right. >> It's in the state of Ohio, though. >> Right. But it's registered to my trust. Private property. I'm the trustee. Now, I show you the paperwork. This is the foreign irrevocable express trust. where it clearly states that I am the trustee and it's stamped off on by Ohio. >> You in not. >> So you're David. Are you David? >> Oh yes I am. Oh yes I am. Oh yes I am. David then held up a document which allegedly granted him a change of nationality to Moon Infinite Bay and went on to make bizarre claims about owning his birth certificate and that it no longer belonged to the QV trust. The whole thing seemed made up, but there was more to come. >> So, what made you decide to change your uh your nationality? >> Uh the same reason you should do it for your keys because I know police when they get to educate, they not all the way educated. They only know how to train protect the assets. You get the American Jewish students book. Oh, here it is. Hold on, hold on, hold on, hold on. This the good part this education. I know y'all don't like this. Read this to let you know that I'm not a holder and due curse, due course of the birth certificate on a state and federal level. I got the full faith and credit. This is my private affidavit of the certificate of live birth. Now, you stated that you never heard of the Moroccan empire, but here it is right here. That's the same emblem on the back of the dollar bill. The officers must have been fed up with this nonsense after humoring him for nearly 10 minutes at that point. They'd already asked him for his date of birth several times, but when they asked again, he must have realized his performance was getting him nowhere. >> What What What do you want about date of birth? I'm not asking any question until your lieutenant come back. >> Okay. >> You going to sit right in the back of this car? >> Yep. Yep. Yep. >> Okay. Go. >> Oh, go ahead. Go ahead. >> What? >> What did you say? >> What? >> Oh, yep. Yep. Yep. Yep. Yep. >> All right. You can put your hands down. >> Yep. >> There's what's up. Getting a citation for your violations today. Yep. >> All right. You got court next Thursday? >> Yep. >> All right. >> And your shorty bond information is on. >> My name's Honor. You can get whatever information you need. >> My phone and stuff is up here. >> It's on the hood of the vehicle. >> Y. >> Now, who's supposed to be doing this? Uh, >> that information um when they come >> when you come and get your vehicle, just make sure you got your title for it. Otherwise, we're not going to release it. >> Yeah, I have title. Okay. Hopefully, it's in your name because right now that vehicle is in someone else's name. >> No, it's >> it is. >> Okay. >> David threatened to head to the police department and sue the lead officer, but the officer had heard it all before and was not even the slightest bit intimidated. He waited for the tow truck to arrive and greeted the driver. >> How you doing? >> I'm riding too, man. >> All right. >> Got keys. Keys are in there. >> At the traveler's request, cuz that's what he went by was a traveler. If you could roll up the windows for me. Oh, >> okay. [laughter] They pulling them cars now. >> So, just so you know, that's him right there. >> Okay. >> He's one of those sovereign citizen guys. >> Oh, yeah. >> I don't exist. >> Um, something like that. >> So, if he Don't be alarmed if he has his cell phone out, you don't have to acknowledge him much. >> Oh, yeah. I appreciate, >> huh? >> Yeah. >> In the end, it didn't matter how many times David had to study all his documents, he [music] was still cited for driving under suspicion, displaying an unauthorized license plate, and weaving in and out of traffic. His vehicle was towed. On June 5th, 2025, a local elementary school called the cops about a Door Dash driver flashing a weapon to security while dropping off an order. Officers were able to locate his vehicle and pull him over. Unsure if he was still armed, they proceeded with caution. >> Need to see both hands, sir. >> Clear. >> Okay. Can you place both your hands on the dash? Hey, don't touch my phone, man. >> Put both of your hands on the dash. Listen to what I'm saying. >> Don't talk stupid to me. I'm I'm a scientist and I'm going do what YOU TELLING ME. >> STOP talking and do what I tell you to do. >> Okay. >> Put your damn hands on the dash. >> Okay. >> And I'll tell you the reason for the stop. First of all, you pull off when I pulled you over and have my lights on. So, that's obstruction. >> So, let me tell you for the reason. We can sing together, but we can't talk at the same time. >> Reason for the job. Goodbye. >> Fine. The reason for the stop is that your job. >> Do you want to understand why we stopping you or not? >> Because I just delivered a lunch at a elementary >> and you displayed your weapon to a security personnel at Kenya Ridge Middle School. >> The suspect argued he had a permit to carry. And when the officer challenged him on why he pulled a weapon on security, he outright denied the claim. He was then asked for his permit, which he said was in his wallet, before inviting the officer to open the car door. >> Which [clears throat] side is your weapon on? Your right or your left? >> Elon Musk, I don't know. This is where you were going to Elon Musk. [laughter] Uh that uh >> the really big bomb. >> Donald Trump is in the >> show. Okay. >> You have to get out to do that. >> Listen to me. I don't mean to get fancy with you, but the way it was explained it, listen to me. When people talk about guns out >> white folks call >> you don't you don't let me explain >> y'all come to shoot >> you like that too. >> You trained to come shoot me. >> Okay. >> I'm not going to talk to you to come shoot. >> Okay. Whatever. Show me the permit. I'm >> coming. Come on, man. >> Much to the officer's relief, the suspect calmed down and pulled out his driver's license, then searched through his wallet for his weapon permit. But he soon became distracted by the need to get the officer's information and talk to the chief. And it quickly turned into a rant. >> Y'all run me down in the street like this. I'm working, man. I'm doing that. I'm following over and y'all done. Y'all going to drive down on me like this. >> How about we're audio recording and he talking to me like he talking to me. You cough me out. You cough me out. in an elementary and y'all got all this going on here. The suspect started getting aggressive toward the lead officer, so he backed away and let one of his colleagues take over the questioning when he discussed the case with the other officers on scene. The suspect became calm again, but his answers were about to take a surprising turn. Okay. Whatever school it is, it was Let me ask you a question facility. >> Is it normal? Is it normal for you to present your gun when you call your >> I presented my gun? I set the food on the counter and they saw this. >> Okay. >> I have my own present. But what am I doing? >> That's what that's why I'm getting your dollar insult. >> That's why we're getting your side of it, right? >> But what what you're doing is insulting my >> I'm a scientist at the University of Washington. >> Okay. So, what did you study? >> I'm a geographer. >> You're a geographer? >> I'm the one that got Junth, the national holiday. >> Okay. Is it normal to bring guns on campus? And do you think that >> I'm delivering? >> Yeah, but that might freak them out. >> But Door Dash sent me here for this delivery, >> right? But they don't know you're carrying a gun. And >> Door Dash does know. >> They Door Dash knows you carry a gun >> because I've been robbed, man. >> Okay. I don't know that. >> I've been shot. >> Okay. >> I I died at Harborview Hospital. >> Okay. So I ain't about to get shot again out here. Tra things are dangerous out here. You got to know what I'm talking about. >> No, I do. I That's where you protest. >> Absolutely. >> And I usually drive at night. Okay. >> So I started driving at daytime. I thought maybe it would be a little safer driving at daytime, but the last time this happened was in Belleview when they came to jail over here at school. The suspect again claimed he was a part owner of Uber and that he was responsible for troubleshooting. He said that because of the incident, he would tell Uber drivers to not go to any school with their gun on them, even though that should have been common sense. So I got to write this into our column. >> Okay. >> Don't deliver nowad everything came back clear and the gun came back to him. >> He said he said he put the put the food up on the counter. They saw it. He says that's when started screaming at home. She comes out and then he says to K, "Oh, I see that you brought security for me opened up his jacket and shower saying we've already got even with a CPO. You can't bring that on school." >> Well, even if he's liced >> and weapons capable, I think you have based on what he's saying, >> right? Well, we have we have we definitely have weapons capable, but the question is >> does this does this right here is that considered brand? >> Well, but all it does is you just need to show it in a way that's meant to intimidate another one. There's nothing about you have to pull it out. You have to have it in your hand. >> It just has to be in a way that you're intimidating. It's a gross misdemeanor. These are all misdemeanor. >> So, hit him with that. >> The officers continued to discuss the suspect's behavior. Given the fact that he'd taken a gun to a delivery he'd known was at a school, they agreed there was likely more crazy antics to come. But even they couldn't have predicted what he would bring up next. >> I'm the state director for the National Junth Observer Foundation. Okay. >> Okay. >> So, wait. >> American Slaves, Inc. >> Yeah. >> Okay. >> Okay. That's my ID. >> Okay. >> And you got to recognize. Okay. So there going to be reparations. You going to declare us a sovereign nation. >> Okay. >> Now they got to come to >> I'm not going back to my forefather. >> Absolutely. Go ahead, sir. After the suspect was done with his latest delusional claims and the other officers had come to an agreement on what laws have been broken, one of them came over to explain to him what was going on and what would happen next. >> They've established that they believe a crime has occurred. >> Okay. And I'm just advising you now that they're going to place you under arrest. You want that to go very easily. Right. So behind your back. >> There you go. You're doing a good job. >> What kind of crime? >> I will let you know as soon as they tell me what the problem is. weapons on campus capable, right? >> Weapons on campus is capable of obstructing. >> Okay. >> Maybe maybe maybe felony harassment by showing the gun and you >> gun and and probably a CPL violation. >> What? >> Concealed pistol license violation. >> Okay. >> We we don't know. We're going to we're going to write it all up right now. You're under arrest. >> You will absolutely get that when you get up to jail. Would you like me to grab your phone and wallet and then I can park your car? I have two phones. >> Hear me out real quick though. I can park your car maybe over here and hope that it doesn't get towed. That way we don't leave it in an alley where we have to tow it. >> Okay. Let the owners know. >> Would you like me to park your car for you out of the telephone? >> Yes, sir. >> The suspect was read his Miranda rights, but then he started making claims he'd been hurt. Officers explained to him they would make sure he got his ID and pistol license back, but they would be keeping his gun and evidence. Then they turned to the issue of alleged injuries. >> You said you have injuries. >> Where are you injured? [laughter] >> Do you want us to put a second? >> And do you need fire? >> Do you want the fire department to come take a look at you? >> Yes. >> Okay, that that we will do. and we'll stand right here at the front so you be in the shade >> and then you can go ahead and tell them whatever it is you need to tell them. >> The medics with the fire department proceeded to start checking the suspect over. But even though he'd been cooperative during his arrest so far, his behavior was about to take another surprising turn. >> My hand these cuffs. I can't handle this. Okay, you got to Man, you got to take this off of me. Yeah. Take No, no. You got to take these cuffs off me now, man. >> We We Sir, let let him look at him. Look at you real quick. >> I can't handle this, man. You got to take your cuffs off of me. >> Well, they're checking you out right now. >> Okay. >> The medical staff said you're healthy as a horse. >> Okay. Mr. Michael [ __ ] in the car with you. >> We're going to work that out. Let's go do it together. You ready? >> The best the best officer we got. >> That's a lie. >> Wow. >> He's a liar. No, [laughter] that's got a that's a compliment. >> I'm gonna let you situate yourself. Now, do you want to sit down and scoot back a little bit that way? I can >> Okay. >> arrange out a seat. >> You can't take these off, right? >> Unfortunately, no. >> Okay. Let me see. All right. Sit down here. Right. >> Is it bad or? >> Oh, yeah. >> Okay. >> And I'll help you out as best I can. Yeah. Push off me. You're not going to hurt me. >> He got me. >> HE GOT ME. YOU'RE BETTER LOOKING than me. That's why YOU CAN PUSH. >> YOU GOT ME. >> OKAY, that's good. >> I'm good. >> We think your life is valuable, sir. >> The suspect was charged with possessing dangerous weapons on school property, displaying a weapon, and obstructing an officer. On March 14th, 2024, a Target store called the cops to report a woman, later identified as Crystal, walking out with $700 worth of stolen items. An officer arrived on scene and approached her vehicle to investigate. >> Hi, how are you? >> Hey, was there a problem over at Target at all? Do you know of >> nothing? They're kind of accusing you of stealing. >> You were not. >> Did How did they mess that up then? Can you >> I don't know. They open. >> Did they try to Well, I I I wasn't. But do you know? Were they trying to stop you before exiting or No. >> No. >> Okay. So, nothing happened inside the store? >> No. one. >> Okay. Do you have your license with you, please? >> No. >> Do you have one? >> Yeah, I have license. I'm private. >> Okay. Can I grab your name then, please? >> No, you cannot. >> Okay. Well, you're detained right now. [music] Okay. Until I investigate this thing going on right now. >> So, >> they called us. Okay. So, just sit tight for me. Do you have insurance on the vehicle? You don't need that either. >> I have insurance. But I'm private. >> Do you have any information showing you're private, ma'am? You have to have something. Some ID or passport? I think it's a passport. >> Yeah. >> Can I have that? >> It was already clear Crystal wasn't going to make things easy. Unsurprisingly, she claimed she didn't have her passport, but said she did have a certificate. A female officer then turned up and Crystal decided to show her certificate on her phone. >> Show you that. >> So So what exactly is this? Might mind if I grab your phone just so I can look a little closer? Okay. Okay. And what is exactly does that mean? >> I am the I am the nameolder. My business. >> Your business? >> I'm a private citizen. So they'll know that information. >> Is that like a sovereign citizen or is the same >> private citizen? No, it's not the same. >> Okay. I I'm just not familiar with asking. >> I'm not a privacy. I mean, I'm not a cyber. I'm private. >> I I haven't heard of private specifically. >> What What does that mean? >> I am a living woman. >> My library is living woman. I am not was on my ID. That's why I don't have a driver's license. >> The document on Crystal's phone was a certificate of existence and registration, which was of course something new to both officers. Crystal refused to give her date of birth, so they tried getting her side of the story about the suspected theft instead. >> What What was the misunderstanding at the Target? Cuz right now they're saying that you left with cosmetics, I believe, clothing, um, other grocery items, I believe, and they're saying that you took those without paying. Was there some sort of misunderstanding there or something that you could clarify further for us? Not that you know of. What did you purchase there? >> You purchased items. Okay. Do you have insurance on the vehicle? >> I have a privacy. >> You do have to uh have insurance for a vehicle when you're operating on a public roadway. >> When asked what she'd do if she were in a car accident without insurance, Crystal countered that she wasn't in an accident. But it seemed she had misunderstood this line of questioning as she then asked if she was being detained for an accident. >> Right now you're just being detained for stuff that So when did you say you became a private citizen? It was recent. >> Yes, about a month. >> A month ago. Is there like a a rule book or something that you guys abide by or what? What's the >> I don't feel like you're the cop. You should know these things. >> I know the Illinois laws. So it sounds like you're kind of going outside of the >> I don't I don't abide by any legal process any legal thing in this country. I do not I law common law that's what we go by common law nothing legal anything you need to process your jurisdiction I don't go by you don't have to that I'm a living war >> okay so you guys can steal or like murder and that's fine with you or what >> I don't want to say anything else I feel like you're trying to interview me and I'm not this is not >> okay >> since Crystal was unwilling to give any information about her identity the officers had no choice but to look her up on the system. Surprisingly, they found a valid driver's license and struggled to understand why she wouldn't have it with her. >> Okay, Crystal, I need you to step out. >> You're under arrest. Okay, >> I am. I just showed you my >> You're under arrest of retail. I No, that's not. >> It is. >> No, I am. >> It is. We don't want to We don't want to take you out of the car. >> Please don't Listen, please don't make us >> not. You are just cooperating with us. >> You are literally going by the business name. You are going by what's on my ID. I'm not that I am not that business. I am a living woman. So who are you arresting? Arresting you. Who are you arresting? >> So what's your living woman name? >> She showed me what it was. It was I show him my private Okay. Your private citizen needs to step out of your vehicle. >> No, I'm Who are you arresting? >> You're you're being placed under arrest. It's time to get out of >> Don't fight. Push your thing. >> I'm trying to >> Okay, that's fine. That's fine. I don't play these games. Under under her seat belt. You're under arrest. >> You are under arrest. Undo her seat belt. >> You, you, whoever this living human being is. >> For Bri, >> hit her seat belt. >> Don't make us Don't make us pull you out, Crystal. Please. >> You're out of the vehicle. >> Come on. Out of the vehicle. Come on. >> Out of the vehicle. Out of the vehicle now. Out of the vehicle now. >> Come on. Come out of the car. There's no way I can't even get in there. >> We are not playing games. >> Let's go. Yes. Stop when you get out of the car. Come on. >> Even though Crystal must have known she was coming out of the car one way or another, she continued being uncooperative. She spouted more of her private citizen nonsense like she thought that would get her a free pass, but she was about to get a reality check. >> Time to go. >> Time to go out of refusing to get out of >> Don't Let's go. Let's go out of the car now. Out of the car now. On the ground. On the ground. Put your hands behind your back. No. No. Leave her. Leave her out. Put her hands behind your back. >> She's fine. >> Ask you nicely to get out. Okay. >> You didn't want to do this. >> You're arresting someone who's not me. >> Okay. >> So, you're arresting the name this one. And I just showed you my sister. I'm a No. Why? Okay. You cannot video stealing from the target. >> I am not. >> Okay. I just told y'all who I am. >> I just told you. >> So, here this paid for >> Gatorade. Second Gatorade. Hold on. Give me a second. Gatorade. >> Okay. I found a receipt with not a lot on it. That's what she paid for. Gatorade and stuff. >> Gatorade. She paid for it. >> Yeah, you're probably right. After confirming the theft, it was time to take Crystal to jail. She asked if she could have her mom pick up her car as it was a rental, but the officer said the car would be towed. But like with all her other interactions with the officers, she had to be told repeatedly before she finally accepted it. >> Okay, Crystal, unbuckle you and we're going to walk over here. Okay, can you step out for me? You need help here to support you a little bit. And then we're going to walk right over here. >> Maybe Crystal had finally reconnected with reality as she continued to go quietly as she was processed in jail. She was later charged with felony retail theft, felony burglary, and resisting arrest. On October 28th, 2023, an officer on traffic duty in Port Charlotte, Florida, noticed a man who later identified himself as Jason driving without his seatelt on. The officer pulled the driver over and approached the car to talk to him. >> May I see your license registration, please? >> A license for a driver's license? >> Yes. >> Oh, well, I'm not commercially operating or I'm not operating in a commercial capacity. >> Uh, you driving on the road? Oh yes, but drivers have to be uh commercially licensed if you're driving. That means >> you are driving. >> Well, that means you're operating in a commercial capacity. >> No, you drive in a vehicle, sir. >> Like there's driving and then there's traveling. >> There's driving a a vehicle. I see a driver's license. >> Well, I'm not operating in a commercial capacity. See what I mean? >> Traveling, sir, >> is not driving. >> Sir, we're not going to do this. Are you >> We're not going to do this. >> Yes. Do you have a driver's license? What do you mean we're not going to do this? >> I am I'm asking you to see your driver's license. >> Well, I'm not I'm not operating in a commercial capacity. >> You're operating a vehicle and to drive a vehicle, you are required to have a driver >> vehicle. >> Oh, what is this? >> This is a automobile. >> The traveling versus driving argument was an instant indication that Jason was a sovereign citizen. That's one of the most common ways they try to get out of traffic stops, but it never works. When asked for his license, Jason claimed his physical copy had been lost. >> So, can I have your name so I can look it up? >> Uh, sure. I mean, have I broken a law? >> You are driving with no uh not without a seat belt, sir. >> But I mean, is that >> Yes, that is that is a law. You have when you operating a vehicle, >> you're supposed to >> you're supposed to have a uh a seat belt on. You're supposed to drive belted. I mean, I'm not aware that I'm driving. I'm sorry. >> I'm sorry. Not aware that I'm driving. >> Okay. So, can I have your name? >> Well, I mean, in order to identify me, you got to suspect that I've committed a crime. >> Sir, you are driving with no seat belt on. I pulled you over >> and I'm No, I'm not escalating anything. You are the one. You This would have been over already. >> See? Well, I got to make sure that you know >> this would have been over already. you are driving a vehicle and you are required to have a driver's license. >> After arguing with the officer about whether he could prove Jason hadn't been wearing a seatelt, Jason decided to hand over the paperwork he did have so the officer could look him up on the system. Then a second officer arrived on the scene. >> Uh-oh. Another Let me guess, another five officers are going to show up. >> It depends. >> Can I see the vent of the vehicle? It's covered right now. Oh, well, I guess they had it covered. >> It's on the paddle. >> Yeah, but I want to make sure it's this one. It's covered right now. >> All right. >> Jason claimed he didn't know how to get the VIN out of his car, so the officer went on to confirm the name on the paperwork [music] was him. When asked which state his license was from, he said it was from Florida. After that, the officer asked him about the origin of the vehicle. >> Now, we just purchased this vehicle. >> Just purchased it. >> Okay. And the tag was not on that vehicle. >> Everything that this vehicle is is the way they had it. >> Okay. >> I loaded all my stuff in it, but this right here and that right there, they already had it on. >> Okay. >> And uh are you do you reside here in Port Charlotte or you are you just passing by? Just pass by. No, cuz I see the the uh the vehicle is from uh another county. So, >> yes. >> Okay, I'll be right back. >> Where did you buy the van? >> Craigslist. >> Runs good, >> I think. So, >> the second officer tried to engage Jason in small talk, but when asked what he did for work, he ignored the question and asked for the officer's name and badge number instead. He eventually revealed he was on a break, then decided to spout more nonsense. >> So, I mean, for the record, when I asked for him to prove and show me, you know, the reason as to why he pulled me over, he has to do that. You can't just, you know, tell me, well, trust me, take my word for it. >> Okay. >> Am I right? Is that the law? Isn't that the policies? >> I mean, obviously, he seen something that was legal to pull you over for. everything when I asked to show me proof as to why you're pulling me over. You have to provide that. >> We don't have to show you proof. >> You don't have to show me proof. >> How are you going to show you proof that you weren't wearing your seat belt? You'd have to take it to court, but in court, >> huh? But we're not wearing a seat belt. I mean, is that committing a crime? >> Technically. >> Technically, that's a crime. >> It's a law in the state of Florida to wear a seat belt. >> It's a traffic code, not a law. >> No, it's a law. It's a law. >> Yep. >> State of Florida. Florida State statute says you have to wear a seat belt. >> That's a statute. Statute laws. >> What are they? >> They're statues. They're penicles. They change as often as they want to change. Laws are things that don't change. Like gravity. It's a law. Doesn't change. Sun shining change. It's a law. >> Okay. >> You know, you change as often as uh you want. >> Oh yeah. legal bar. >> Jason's argument was of course completely bogus. So the officer tried again to explain the legal requirement for him to wear his seatelt while driving. But Jason wasn't done with the mental gymnastics. >> That's drivers. That's the commercial operator. >> Are you not a driver? >> No. >> What are you? >> I'm a traveler. >> Oh, okay. Me traveling on the roadways. the roadways like the pave the paved streets. >> Yeah. >> Yeah. But not everyone on the pave streets is a driver. >> You're the sole occupant in a vehicle. >> Vehicle. >> What is it? >> Automobile. >> Okay. >> So, not everyone's a driver. Not everyone's uh operating in commercial capacity. >> Okay. >> As lawic, right? The first officer returned after he'd run the name and date of birth Jason had given him. But there was no record of Jason ever having a driver's license. So the officer gave him another chance to clear things up. >> So do you have a driver's license? >> So my driver's license I've lost it. I totally lost >> I understand. But I understand about that. But there's a way for us >> surrendering my license by the way. >> But there's a way for us to double check that >> if even if you lost it etc. this and he's saying there's no records of any license. >> So, is that your name? Am I missing something? Am I missing the spelling? >> So, I'm in the process of surrendering it to the state. >> Okay. I don't know what that means. >> It means surrendering it. I don't want this anymore. Cancel it. Cancel the contract that I have with the state as a commercial driver with the driver's license. I'm surrendering it to the state. >> Okay. >> To the Supreme Court. Florida Supreme Court. >> Okay. >> Have you ever had one? license >> in the state of Florida. >> Yeah. >> Under that name that you gave him >> that that you see on the title as you can see on the bill itself. >> The first officer explained again that nothing was coming back, which is why he was asking Jason to confirm the information was correct and that they had the correct spelling. Jason said it was the name he goes by, which is an odd way of phrasing it. >> What's your legal name? >> What do you mean legal? Well, you said that was the name you go by. >> Well, when people say this is my name, that's claiming this is who I am. A name, >> okay? >> You know, and I'm one of I know that you guys are trained to, you know, hate sovereign citizens and all that, but me, I'm someone who exercises my rights. So, when I say I'm, you know, Jason, that doesn't mean that Jason is who I am. >> That makes sense. A name is not who I am. The first officer was doing his best to give Jason every opportunity to provide the information they needed so they could write him a ticket and let him be on his way. While trying to get to the bottom of why they couldn't find him on the system, the first officer noticed something else was in the car. >> Who's back there, by the way? Anybody back there? >> That's it. Is there a person? >> Are you escalating things? >> No, I'm asking. I want I want to know if someone's back there. I don't know if someone's back there. >> Do you suspect? Uh, >> I don't suspect, but I heard you talking to somebody. >> Do you suspect them of committing a crime? >> I'm just ask. >> All right, >> Jason. This This is what's going to happen. Okay. I'm giving I'm giving you every opportunity to identify yourself. Okay. I'm giving you opportunity to provide me with your name, driver's license, and you are refusing to do that. >> If you're driving with no license, you driving, >> you are driving, sir. >> I'm not driving. That means I'm not operating in any commercial. I don't I don't want to take you to jail, but that's the way we're going to go. If you are refusing to identify yourself, >> I'm cooperating with you. You're supposed to deescalate. >> I I am deescalating. >> I gave you the >> And it's not coming back to anything. So, I'm going to ask you to step out of the vehicle. >> Is that a lawful order? >> Yes, it is. >> I mean, for what reason? >> I already because right now you you don't have a license. You were driving. You're refusing to >> I'm not driving. >> At this moment, >> means that you are a commercial operator. We're not going to do this, sir. So, can you step out of the vehicle? Cuz then you're going to you're going to escalate this to obstruction charge. >> Unbelievably, Jason then claimed he felt threatened and coerced and refused to get out of the vehicle like he'd been asked. Somehow, the officer managed to stay calm as they circled back to the issue of Jason's license, which he revealed wasn't really from Florida. >> So, where is your license from? >> My driver's license. >> Yes, it's a Texas license. >> So, why didn't you say that from the beginning? people because I'm in the process of getting a license. >> Okay. But I ask you what? No, you said you're in the process of surrening your That's what you said. >> A Texas license. >> Okay. Do you have a middle name, sir? So I when they run it out of Texas, it has to be exact. And is that the Is that the date of birth? >> Out of Texas? >> Yes. >> White 10. Can you run that driver's license out of Texas that >> After all the lies Jason had told the officer so far, it probably came as no surprise they found no record for him out of Texas either. Understandably, the officer had had enough. >> You're going to kidnap me if I get out. >> You can't do that. >> I could do that, sir. I don't know what you're going to do. I don't know if you're going to lock yourself in there. So, let's go. Come on. >> You can't do that, >> sir. Are we going to have to force you out of there? >> Cuz then you will get an obstruction charge for sure. >> Oh, man. This is wrong. >> This is wrong. >> What have I done? Turn around. Turn around. >> This is wrong. Turn around. This is wrong. Why are you doing this to me? >> The officer explained again why Jason was now being arrested as he put him in cuffs. But Jason wasn't getting the message. However, there was still the matter of the passenger he claimed was his girlfriend and whether they had anything to hide. So again, open. No, you do not have the right to open. That's an illegal search and seizure. I don't give you the right to, >> Ma'am. She's in a >> Okay. You need to step out of the vehicle. >> Do you have a valid driver's license, ma'am? >> Do you have it? [laughter] >> I just wanted to see if somebody was inside. >> Yeah. >> That's my livelihood. That's my lover. I love her. >> Okay, I'll we'll let her know where you are. Go ahead. Get in. >> And you're kidnapping me? >> I'm not kidnapping you, sir. Sit this way. >> I'm I'm scared. I I'm being kidnapped. I'm being taken. >> Turn this way. >> What is the charge? What is the charge? >> What are you What are you charging me with? What is the charge? >> I already told you. >> What's the charge? >> I do not know. I am not clear. >> Aside from not properly identifying himself, the tag on the vehicle had come back as a rental. Jason was charged with resisting arrest without violence, failing to register a motor vehicle, and attaching an unassigned license plate. He was sentenced to 30 days in jail and 12 months of probation. On January 5th, 2025, a man went to the local police station with his mom and brother to report an incident with their neighbor. While speaking to the officer at the front desk, he began behaving erratically and was asked to leave. >> Come on, man. You got to go. >> Okay. >> All right. I have a minute. >> Can I have your name and badge number, please? 183. >> Name badge number, please. >> Officer McDow 1363. Come on. >> Bad number, please. Hold on. I'll leave. I'm leaving. >> Yeah, we'll give it to you outside. Come on. You got to go. >> Your name badge number. We'll write it down for you. >> Sergeant 1147. >> Kick me out. I pay for it. >> You don't pay for it. Get out. >> Yeah, I do. I pay attention. >> Get out. >> Stop shoving me against the door. No one shoving me out. SHOVE ME AGAINST THE DOOR, BRO. HEY, stop touching me. Stop touching me. Please stop touching me. Get away from me. >> Get away FROM ME. STOP CHASING ME DOWN. >> GET OFF THE PROPERTY. >> WHAT'S YOUR NAME? 1363. 1363. Stop being a baby. Get off. >> Where's your supervisor? I WANT YOUR SUPERVISOR. Get off the property. Supervisor. SUPERVISOR. SUPERVISOR. GET OFF THE SUPERVISOR. STOP TOUCHING ME. STOP touching me. >> Stop touching me. The man, later identified as Ryan, continued to yell at the officers, but it looked like he was finally about to leave. So, they began walking back into the station. Unfortunately, he just couldn't help himself and came back to argue some more. >> It's just 13. >> We gave it to you. You recorded it. >> Why don't you get a job and get in real life? >> Okay. I have >> Hey, you start cursing, it's going to be disorderly conduct. >> Take off. >> Let's just take off. Now you're going to jail. >> That's fine. Right ahead. >> Can I have my shoe, please? >> Put your shoe on. Let's just send them this orderly. >> Hold on. Hold on. Hold on. >> I I see that. I'm good. >> 25. Start a wagon. >> Good idea. >> Yeah, I actually do. Can we hold on? >> Where's it at? Where's it at? >> Hey, can I stand here by myself, please? >> Where is your idea? >> You're under arrest right now. >> I'm being detained. >> You're under arrest. >> Don't stand out here when we're telling you to leave. Call everybody heads and all that kind of stuff. >> You're under warned. >> Okay. >> Officers then told Ryan he was going to the county, which he seemed to find funny. They secured him in the back seat and explained [music] he couldn't have his phone as he was under arrest, but he didn't seem to be getting the message. >> Hey, hey, hey, excuse me, guys. Excuse me, sir. Hey, that's my personal property. Give it to my mom, please. Of course it will be. Hey, who's got a body camera that's being turned on? His isn't EVEN TURNED ON. HEY, THOSE KEYS are mine. They're my mom's. Thank you. You just closed the door on your officer. Nice job. >> Ryan finally calmed down and tried asking nicely if the officers could give his phone and his wallet to his mom. But when he didn't get an immediate yes, he went back to yelling. >> I have no record, you guys. >> Is there someone inside that? >> You You do know. >> Yeah. Thanks. >> When they tell you to leave, leave. >> I was standing on the sidewalk. >> When they tell you to leave, leave. >> There's a sidewalk. Public property. I want a supervisor. >> You can keeping laughing all you want, dude. Mom. Mom. [screaming] Mother, tell them you want TO TALK TO ME. YOU'RE ALLOWED TO. >> THE officers left Ryan to cool off in their car while they discussed the situation among themselves. Then one of them went back into the station to get his colleagueu side of the story. >> All you had to do is walk away. >> No. That idiot who lives in his mom's basement, smokes pot all day. He ain't doing >> Let's do DOC and criminal trespass. You guys are >> technically on the sidewalk, >> but we asked him to leave the property multiple times. I had to grab him and walk him down to [clears throat] the sidewalk. >> Yeah, do whatever you want. >> Let's do trespass and uh doc. >> What's his deal? >> He was a sucker from the very beginning. [music] Her and the tall dude were perfectly fine. >> What was he pissed about? Somebody ran into the gas line last last night at on 18th Street and apparently we came out and got information quick for a report took off. >> Sounds right. >> Yeah. You know, uh so he was just mother he's like just so I told him I said you can stay. You got to go dude. We don't let people in just to with us. So that's what I call you know just a second. >> It's one of those when you're on the call you would turn around and just walk away from >> an officer went back to talk to Ryan and he calmed down again and asked to speak to his mom. So the officer promised they'd see if she wanted to talk to him. Meanwhile, she was giving her side of the story to the other officers. >> Yeah, I can talk to him. >> So the neighbor hit our gasoline. >> Yeah. The neighbor hit our gas with her ve and we were told last night there's no proof. >> So the police come out last night. >> Yeah, they came but >> nothing was done. Things were escalated. We were told to go back in the house to where there was gas leak in the house. >> That made no sense to me. >> Yeah. >> And I say attempted murder because they were trying to move the car without letting us know that they hit our gas. >> Yeah. It could have caused us spark >> and we could have woke up dead today. >> Who was moving the car though? >> Her boyfriend and her. >> Her boyfriend, her and her. Yeah, we didn't go outside. She hit her. >> Yeah, she hit me in the back before you. >> Yeah. >> What's What's her deal? She drugs or >> drugs? Probably. >> The mom went on to say these were recurring incidents and that they've been told they had no proof even though they had everything on camera. So, the officer explained they could include everything in the link they'd been given. She appreciated his help, but still seemed frustrated about Ryan. >> Do we really have to after all the other things happened, arrest him? >> Well, I mean, he's I mean, I I get that you guys are going through a lot. He can't be down here acting like that. And then when we tell him to leave, I mean, you guys drive down here or you guys walk down here? >> We drove. >> Where's the car? >> All he had to do was go over there. I know, but >> he's out here cursing at all of us, standing up there saying he's not going to leave. Officer, >> no, he said he'll leave. I heard him. He said he'll leave. >> Officer have to officer had to escort him off down the steps here. >> Well, he said he was leaving and he got shut down real hard. >> He didn't get shot at the door. The door just You have to push that thing to get out of the door. So, he ran into the door and the officer was right behind him. So, nobody was trying to shut >> That's where That's where it escalated where he got pushed. >> I think it escalated before we even got here. Otherwise, the officer would have called >> No, he actually calmed down. must have been caught by >> the officer inside said that he wasn't going to deal with him anymore because of the behavior. So you guys saw that. I didn't see that. But that guy's got a lot of patience, been an officer for a long time. He wouldn't call us down here to have him removed from the police station >> if that was the case. >> Well, it basically escalated. All he did was say he was and that's where he was like, "Well, I wasn't there. I can't do anything." >> Yeah. the the officer in there when he when my son said you died. >> As in the department, he said I wasn't there. [music] So, it infuriated him when he meant you as in the police officers, not you as in himself. >> It was time to transport Ryan to jail. But the officers needed to transfer him to their wagon first. They asked him to get back out of the car, and he surprisingly cooperated. They also needed to change his handcuffs, so he promised he wasn't going anywhere. I can't really run anywhere anyway in slides and my >> And you know what? If you got and if you >> I'm not going anywhere. >> No, I'm just saying. You know, if you're cuffed, you know what's funny is if you don't have your [music] arms to run. >> Yeah. You fall flat on your face. >> Fall flat on your face. >> Yeah, I know. I watched >> I know. It's ridiculous. I'll be watching videos, man. Is >> that crazy? >> Can I share the key though? Like, can you hold it in front of me so I can actually see what it looks like? >> Oh, that's cool. >> Can I talk to him for a second, please? He said he wanted to talk to me. >> What did you need to talk to? >> You have my phone. That's all I need. >> Oh, okay. I don't I don't know how to access it. >> It's okay. I can >> if >> It's okay. I can't. >> Um >> Yeah, you're not. Hey, >> it's okay. I know how to >> Well, no. I meant what I'm saying is you have like a 48 hour window and you'll have to resubmit that. >> Okay. >> Yeah, you'll be. >> It was clear the mom was still frustrated, but she remained calm, as did Ryan's brother. Because of Ryan's behavior, he was charged with disorderly conduct. On January 31st, 2025, a Shake Shack reported that a man was threatening individuals in their store. Officers arrived to find him still inside with his girlfriend and his family where tempers were running high. >> Let's calm down. Let's go here. I'm going to talk to them. We're going to talk to you. We'll figure it out. What's going on? Nothing. Let's go. What the [ __ ] out here? It's my birthday. What's your name? >> What's your name? >> Let's go then. Stop. >> This way. >> This way. >> I'm telling you. Use that door now. Why are you not listening? >> Back up. I'm >> going this way. I'm going this way. >> The man, Jonathan, continued to argue with the officers despite his family telling him to listen to them and go outside like they'd asked him to. They finally managed to escort him outside and tried to get his side of the story, but he showed no signs of calming down. >> Stop. >> Yes. And him told ME, "GO OUTSIDE. I'M OUTSIDE." HEY. SO, >> I was talking to my family. >> You telling me something about your mom? What you doing? >> TODAY, IT'S MY BIRTHDAY. >> WHY Y'ALL ACTING CRAZY? I'M NOT DOING NOTHING. >> Just listen. >> Shut up. >> Oh my god. We need to >> Why y'all blocking me though? >> Cuz we need to investigate. What happened? >> Okay. >> Okay. Where? >> Where's your ID? >> My ID? >> OH MY GOD. >> MINE. HE DON'T NEED MY ID. >> TO WHAT? STUPID. YOUR BALDHEAD. DIAZ, WHAT YOU NEED MY ID FOR? I'm leaving. I'M GOING HOME. >> I'M ABOUT TO GO TO CITY. DIAZ, PLEASE. >> We'll let you as soon as you just >> YOU KNOW I'M A SOVEREIGN CITIZEN. >> YO, WHO? You better stop going your city's up right now. Cuz if you're about to square up, you're going to have a world. >> He's on my square up. He can't beat me in a fight. He got a badge. I'm not going to ru my You can't beat ME IN A FIGHT, BRO. >> You got a badge. >> You can't beat me in a fight. He don't WANT TO FIGHT. >> STOP. >> It was already clear that Jonathan was intoxicated. After arguing with the cops for a little longer, he decided to cooperate, but denied having his ID on him. The officers then tried again to get his side of the story. >> So, what happened? >> Question is, it's my birthday. He tried to play me and my girl, my mother, my family. Who? >> Who? >> The employee. >> Okay. >> And I'm trying to leave. That's it. No problem. >> Okay. But you came in here to pitch your order. >> I got no weapon. I came to eat habachi with my family on my birthday. That's boooo. >> All right. >> He a shark. He He a neuro. He He a doctor. >> Okay. All right. >> I ain't got no problem. >> Jonathan held out his hands for the officer to lock him up. And even though they said they weren't trying to arrest him, he claimed he was scared of the bald officer and called him a tyrant. They were struggling to get much sense out of him. >> I'm not a threat. I was on the way. All right. Well, all right. But listen, but the way that you're acting, but the way that you're behaving right now is unacceptable. >> They don't have a mother. >> That's my mother. >> You got a mother? >> Yeah. >> You got a mother. He don't have a mother. Can I talk to him? >> Let's talk about what's going on here tonight. Jonathan, >> please. That's my mother. >> I want you to drink tonight. >> It's my birthday. It don't matter. >> No, but I'm saying like when you're you're good. >> He don't have a mother. He don't understand. >> But you're not good though. >> He don't have a mother. He don't understand. That's my mother. >> He wants to do it. >> That's my mother though. Yeah. Yeah. >> Jonathan. Jonathan. >> I'm a shark. >> Jonathan. >> I'm a CIA. If y'all want to be technical. >> Okay. >> Your iPhone. The CIA. >> Jonathan apologized, but he continued with more nonsense about everyone's moms. The officers couldn't just take his word for it that he had no weapons, which was why they'd asked him to keep his hands out of his pockets. But it seemed he was too drunk to realize the consequences of disobeying. >> Keep your hands out of your pockets. You know on me right here just >> I got a mother. >> My mother. I just >> You're just a team right now. >> You're just a team right now. Do not make any decisions that will make you under arrest. You understand? You're not under arrest. >> My life. >> All right. I know that. But they asked you if you had any weapons. Keep taking your hands out of your pockets and win for night. 30 this right now right now. Okay. >> Wait, hold on. Hold on. Hold on. Don't move. Just let me just tighten this just so it won't move. Okay. Give me a second. Just give me a second real quick. >> Does he have any You have any other knives? >> Jonathan seemed convinced that having his mother with him should be enough reason for the cops not to detain him. After discovering the knife in his possession, the officers grilled him about it. And as expected, he still had senseless excuses. What are these for? I'm okay. I got my own company. >> What are these for? >> I'm a contractor. >> Really? I thought you were in CIA. >> What are these for? >> If I'm a CIA, I got a gun. That's a night for a contractor. >> That's my uncle. Is it my birthday? >> What do you do for work? >> I'm a contractor. >> What do you do? >> Take out what you do for work. >> Oh my god. I'm a contractor. Diaz. I see money. >> Is that really what you do? >> What the? It's my birthday. >> Okay. I'm not doing nothing, y'all. >> Jonathan, what do you do for work? >> Okay. >> What What specifically do you do as a contract? >> Construction. Okay. >> I'm celebrating. >> What do you use that What do you use that at work for? >> I'm I'm Hey. Hey, Tyrone. I'm celebrating this with my family. That's it. >> Ask you a question. What do you use? >> What do you What do you use those for at work? >> Seriously? >> Yeah. >> Construction. Cut. She >> cut. >> Can I have my lips back? Not yet. >> The officers explained to Jonathan that he was just detained, but not under arrest. They tried to talk to him about how he'd reached for his knife, but he kept insisting he hadn't done anything wrong. >> So, why are we here? >> Exactly. >> Why? You have no idea why. >> I didn't do nothing in school. I'm trying to get these cuffs off me. They shoot me like in front of my mother. I'm embarrassed. I'm I'm out the car. As soon as I get to my mother, I'm the car. It's your birthday. >> Yes. I'm trying. Don't do that. Man, >> not tonight. Not tonight. >> SP all these people like >> so tell me you came to eat with your mom. >> Yes. >> Okay. And then what happened? You got an argument with anybody or no? >> No. Ask Diaz. >> He don't need to know. >> Jonathan maintained his innocence and kept asking for his cuffs to be removed despite being told repeatedly that they needed to clear him first. But then their sergeant arrived and spoke to the people in the Shake Shack. And Jonathan's release suddenly looked less likely. >> Hey, excuse me. >> Hey, Sergeant. Hey, Sergeant. Come here. Come. >> He did come though. You see? >> Yeah. I need window. >> Please. >> Why'd you run inside to these kids? >> Look, kids. >> The guys, wherever they were. >> This is my birthday. >> Okay. My mother right there, >> right? >> I'm just chilling. I'm drunk. >> Right. >> I do nothing. >> What's my charge? >> That's not what everybody inside the store says. >> That's not what the people inside there that I just spoke to. >> What are they saying? >> You went into threatening people's lives or something. >> That's a lie, s >> the sergeant made the decision to take Jonathan back to the station for further questioning where he would be charged with terroristic threats due to the way he'd scared everyone in the restaurant. But in Jonathan's mind, he was still innocent. was in that you all right soon. Do me a favor, just spell your >> Once they'd finished searching him, the officers gave Jonathan the opportunity to give his personal belongings to his family, and they made sure he had a number to call once they got to jail. Then it was time to lead him over to the squad car. >> Bro, that's a problem for people. I I'm have a seat. Appreciate >> you watch. >> Can you swing your legs in? I'll talk to you. We get to the police department. All right. >> I got hands. >> Give me a second. >> Get in. >> Put your hands on me. >> Hey, sir. >> Hey, sir. What the I'm telling you. >> Jonathan was taken to jail where he was later issued his complaint summons and released from police custody. Hopefully, it would teach him the lesson he needed and he would behave better in the future. On June 8th, 2025, an officer witnessed a driver failed to stop at a stop sign and pulled her over. What should have been a simple, straightforward traffic stop quickly became something far more complicated. >> Good morning, Officer Language of the Naples Police Department. The reason I'm stopping you is failure to come to a complete stop at the stop sign. >> Oh, I thought I did. I'm sorry. >> It's okay. Is this your license and registration? >> I no longer use a license. I only have uh my passport that I use. I'm a state national, so I no longer have to abide by uh the corporate corporation's rules and I have my documentation for that. >> Okay. >> There was nothing on the suspect's document to show why she should be exempt from having a driver's license. When the officer told her that an exemplary would usually have a card, the suspect claimed she hadn't received hers yet, but she had already filed all the paperwork. >> It's been in place for what? >> Six years. And you don't have if it's been in place for six years, you don't have the prior one. >> They they didn't send it to me yet. >> In the whole entire six years, you never had any. >> You know how our federal government works. So this is >> So what do you provide for documentation wherever you go? You only provide ma'am. >> You should have been at least issued an identification card even if you don't have a driver's license. No, because the identification card again abides by your rules uh leaning uh ownership of my vehicles of myself to you and I'm no longer a part of the corporation. So, I'm exempt. So, what what we're doing here is illegal as far as me because I no longer participate the extortion of the police department. >> Are you are you stating you're so are you a sovereign citizen? >> I'm not state national. >> State national? I'm not sovereign. I'm a state national. I'm a part of the Republic of the United States, no longer a part of the corporation. >> It was clear the suspect was delusional. The officer asked for her address so she could issue her a citation, but the suspect continued with her claims of being exempt and that the officer couldn't detain her because no crime had been committed. >> Mim, you are legally have to follow injured party injured vehicle in Florida. No, you still have to follow. No, I don't. It's See, you guys are extorting money from us. See, the problem is you're violating my fourth amendment before. >> No, you're actually not. >> Yes, [snorts] you are. I can go through it with you, doll. >> I have it all here. >> Stand by. >> The officer rang her sergeant for advice, and the suspect explained to the two of them that as a state national, she had the right to travel freely without being encumbered by any of their laws or regulations. Unsurprisingly, the sergeant said she needed a driver's license like everyone else and that he would send backup. >> There's no injured party here, honey. >> It doesn't matter if there's no >> Absolutely it does. That's when a crime is committed. That's the only time you can pull me. >> No. >> Yes, ma'am. There's an injured party. >> No, >> you're offering You're offering the contract not accepted. Stand by. >> You're off for an operation. What's up? >> She's sovereign. >> Huh? >> She's sovereign. She wants to ride the driver's license. Her driver's license is expired in 2025. >> Um she registration is up to date actually. And um so right now she's just giving me all types of problems. I was just going to ride her for expired driver's license. She has an expired driver's license. She can't drive. >> So um somebody else is going to have to come drive her car and an arrest or I right >> that's roughly the female please >> after she filled her partner in on the situation the female officer went back to the suspect and asked her to turn her car off but the suspect wasn't done arguing >> I heard what you had to say at this point she has asked you to turn the vehicle off and step out of the vehicle >> if you listen to me you are going to step out of the vehicle >> why would I do that >> because I asked you to >> you don't have the authority for me. >> I do. >> No, you don't. You both are criminals. >> No. You're going to step out of the vehicle or I'm going to make you get out of the vehicle. >> I'm going to church. >> No. You're going to get out of the vehicle right now. Nope. Nope. Stop it. Do not do it. Do not. Oh my god. No. No. >> No. No. >> Stop. Leave me alone. >> Oh my god. I'm going to church. Stop it. Leave me alone. Please stop. >> Oh my god. Are you crazy? >> No. You're going to step out of the vehicle. >> Oh my god. Wait. Let me turn my vehicle off. >> Do not grab me. No. >> Stop. >> Do not stop it. >> Grab this one. >> I'm gonna put I'm gonna lock up my car. >> No. >> I'm gonna lock up my car. >> No. >> We tried to help. >> Oh my god. B. >> Hold on. Get your Get your visor. >> Step out. Step out. >> Oh my god. Let me put my car in. Step out. >> Let me put MY CAR IN. STEP OUT. Step out. >> My car is out. >> Stay right there. Do not move. >> Oh my god. >> Since her state national delusions hadn't worked, the suspect decided to turn on the waterworks instead and plead with the officers to let her go to church. But that didn't get her anywhere either, and she was quick to change tactics again. >> Don't handle me like that. >> You're going to sit down, please. >> Stop it. >> Sit down and put your legs in. Don't tow my car. Call my brother to come down. >> Thank you. >> Please don't tow my car. >> Watch your legs. >> Please don't tow my vehicle. Can I please call my brother? >> No. >> Why? >> Cuz it's getting towed. >> Why? That's theft. >> It's not. >> Sir, you're you're stealing my car if you impound it. >> Sir, can I please secure my vehicle? Sir. >> The suspect then asked about her personal belongings and was told they'd be secured in the vehicle, but she claimed her purse was in her car with over $2,000, which she'd need to post bail. So, the officer went to check with his supervisor if she could have them. >> She would like to bring her purse with her to jail. >> Making sure I see a lot of lighters. So, I just want to make sure that's not supposed to be in here before we bring it to the jail. >> Uh, while you're doing that, I'm going to type the jail intake. She can have her phone, too. >> I will bring your purse and your uh phone for you. >> Thank you, sir. >> Yep. >> Can you please roll up my windows? >> We will. >> And And I I I can't have the code to towed because it's on a security. >> It's going to get towed. There is not nothing around that. >> What if you up my car? >> It's not going to. >> How do you know that? because we notate any damage on it prior to the toe. >> There is no damage on my car >> and there won't be anyone to get it. >> How do I get it? >> Uh, you'll be advised on where it's going to get towed to. >> How long am I going to be in jail? >> Uh, I can't answer that question. I don't know. That's not up to us. >> Well, we need a magistrate here to tell me that right now. >> Uh, you'll go before a judge when you get in. Okay. >> The suspect's status as a state national had only ever been a fantasy, which hopefully disappeared after the arrest. She was charged with failure to obey police or fire department orders, resisting an officer with violence and battery on a specified personnel. Radicals think they can get away with breaking the law. But when cops give sovereign citizens a muchneeded dose of reality, they find out the hard way that they're not immune from legal consequences.
