This is the boy in Kentucky. That's what you sent him. Does that look familiar? I mean, it's okay, but we just have to get to the bottom of this. >> Oh my god. I'm so sorry. I know. I'm so Oh my god. my family is going to taste. >> Apparently, a teacher's been acting really erratic and uh just like been off for this whole school year >> and some teacher. >> It all began at a school where [music] nothing seemed out of place until questions were raised about a teacher no one suspected. But once officers took a closer look, the story quickly unraveled and police knew this school teacher was hiding something. They weren't going to tell the police that they, you know, I feel a little bit like >> Well, they definitely tricked you. They definitely tricked you, but you were about to do something very evil. >> On September 17th, 2025, a rabbi named Levi Cash was busted after admitting he intended to engage in sexual activity with a 14-year-old. Dustin Lamprose of 561 Predator Catchers confronted Levi Inside Target after a decoy posed as a 14-year-old boy on the gay dating app Grinder. With you being a rabbi, a teacher, an instructor, [music] two young children, how can you tell me that you're not a threat? If you're willing to meet a 14-year-old for you drove all the way down here. >> Yeah, that was [music] very stupid to do. >> Very stupid, right? >> Yeah, extremely. >> You wanted to bottom. What does that mean? [music] What does bottom mean? I'm not familiar with this term. What does that mean? >> That means explain it. >> That means the active person is the guy on top and the bottom [music] is the one >> and you wanted a bottom. >> You wanted a 14-year-old to put his inside you. >> That's what you wanted? >> Yeah. Extremely uncomfortable. >> The decoy specifically stated he was 14 years old. Levi acknowledged that his chatmate was underage, but continued the conversation anyway. He told the decoy he was a teacher and tutor, telling him he was his next student, a behavior police would later describe as grooming. After being confronted by Dustin, the police were dispatched to the location. >> Hello, my friend. >> How you doing, sir? U who is just walk me through it. Who is the uh the who who called the police department? >> I called you guys. >> Dustin PC. >> Okay, sir. Do me a favor, my friend. >> What is uh your first name? >> Dustin Lampro. >> Dustin Lampro. Okay. All right. All right. So, tell me what happened. >> This gentleman right here, 64, his name's Levi Cash. He came here to pick up a 14-year-old for >> Okay. >> And he drove here um was going to buy a condom once he saw the 14-year-old and uh he was going to meet him by the game. He was going to meet him by the gaming uh section. And so, we walked over. He was in the gaming section on the phone with our decoy, the decoys, people versus Pred. They notified me that he was talking to what he thought was a 14-year-old and came here and picked him up for we approached them, asked him some questions, and you guys showed up. Dustin laid out all the facts in simple terms so there was no confusion. After receiving the full backstory, the officer confronted Levi, read him his Miranda rights, [music] and then asked him to explain himself. >> So, you drove up here. What was the intentions of driving up here on this? >> Meeting somebody. >> Okay. Meeting who? >> Meeting a boy who's >> Okay. And how old was this boy? >> This boy at first he told me he was 19 and then he told me he was 14. >> Okay. And then when he told you he was 14, you were still coming to meet him. >> Okay. >> And they made statements that they weren't going to tell the police that they, >> you know, >> I feel a little bit like >> Well, they definitely tricked you. They definitely tricked you, but you were about to do something very evil. >> So, I know that with that with that being said, let me just talk to my supervisor for a second over here. >> Imagine that. He had the gall to say that he felt betrayed by Dustin because he called the police on him. Levi was the only person guilty of betrayal. He betrayed his religion, his morals, his profession, and [music] his family. And now he was going to pay for it. >> All right, Levi. This is what's going to happen. I need you to stand up for me. >> I'm going to have you put your hands behind your back. >> Look, give me one second. I will get these back. Are you >> Are you putting cuffs on me? >> I am going to be putting cuffs on you. Okay. >> Why? >> You're going to be arrested. Okay. Uh, what you did is illegal. It's immoral and it's unethical. >> I know, >> but you got you got to stand up. >> The quicker I get you out of here, the less embarrassing it is for you because right now it's probably going to cause a scene. >> And my car is here. >> Okay. >> Your car your your car is legally parked. That's fine. Let me have you turn around. Put your hands behind your back. >> Okay. Here. Let me have you put your hands behind your back. teacher does >> a rabbi. >> It was true. His profession made the entire situation that much worse. In fact, it was downright disgusting and terrifying to think that he was responsible for teaching young [music] children. The scariest part was that this likely wasn't his first time. It was just the first time he had been caught. >> All right, Levi, here. You're going to come with me? Okay. >> I thought >> I'm going to walk you to your vehicle to my vehicle. You're going to be released on scene for right now. >> Okay. >> And then uh we just need to get some additional information from you. >> Yeah. >> Did you have to work walking in the police? >> Yeah. Where's your car? >> Down the road. >> Which one? >> How far down the road? >> It's too far down the road for me. I can't >> What you mean too far down the road? >> No, I should have parked closer. >> Okay. Just watch your step over here. I know. >> Listen, man. That I'm I'm not going to lie. I mean, I'm being very nice to you and I'm respecting you. >> What you were going to do, that's very evil. >> Hang out right here for a second. Undo your cuffs here. Turn around. >> What is the passcode for the phone that we collected from you? >> Like the code to get in >> the Do you need to see it to do it? 1743 4. >> All right, let me write that down. >> Put the You put the cuffs on. Thank you so much for not making it too late. >> Oh, you're welcome. Like I said, I'm I'm going to treat you like a I'm going to treat you [music] respectfully. >> And I'm trying to be respectful to you. >> You are trying not to do anything stupid. >> Please, please don't. >> I personally would like to just dig a hole and crawl into it. >> I understand that. He [music] was embarrassed and rightfully so. But unfortunately for him, it was only beginning. If he thought he had any chance of [music] keeping his activity private from friends, family, and work colleagues, he had another thing coming. >> I guess it depends on what you find. >> Yeah. I don't I don't know. I don't know. I mean, I'm I'm sure we're not going to find good stuff. I mean, you know, you you even admitted to that >> with not the kids. kids. This was the only way. >> All right. >> Everything else was above. >> Okay. Okay. >> Lot of stupidity. >> I know they're here to protect the public, but >> I think I have some rights also. >> They're they're not violating any of your rights. If they were violating your rights, we would let them know. >> So, when they started, they didn't tell me they were. >> How do you do You're correct. You're correct. And >> you know what? You've got me rights debt to rights. But yeah, I'm going to cooperate with them. I just >> And I'm going to get the help that I need. >> Yeah. >> So, um um just go ahead and have a seat in your car, please, and just roll the window down if you don't mind. After investigating his phone, surveillance footage, and his recorded admission, detectives obtained an [music] arrest warrant. Unaware that a warrant had been issued for his arrest, Levi showed up at the police station the next day to collect his phone, but he didn't get the greeting he expected. >> Hello, Mr. Cash. >> Do you have your ID on you? >> Yes, the receipt. >> Have a receipt. Yes. I'm just going to listen to this young man over here. >> How you doing, sir? Can I just do me a favor? Put your hands behind your back. You set up your hand. I want to stand up. We'll explain it. >> We're going to explain everything. And I'm being put into >> Yes, you're being arrested. Okay. We have an arrest warrant for you signed by a judge. >> I don't know why you didn't tell me that over the phone. >> Would have come a different day because of the Sabbath tonight. >> Unfortunately, sir, that's not how it works. >> I understand that, but >> I I voluntarily came in. >> Absolutely. and we appreciate that. >> But >> but I came under I came under false pretenses, though. >> I I understand. I understand where you're coming from. >> He didn't seem to get it. He was being arrested for attempting to commit one of the worst crimes imaginable. He was being treated with respect and dignity, and he was lucky to get that. At that point, missing the Sabbath should have been the least of his concerns. >> You're arresting me now for how long? >> Well, that's not up to us. Yeah, that that's up to the judge to be who to set if he wants to set a bond or not. You'll probably see the judge first thing in the morning. >> Can I let my wife know? >> Yes, >> I'm here. >> We can let her know. We don't allow You can make a phone call from the county jail. >> That's where you take me? >> That's where this officer is going to take you? Yeah. >> You can call her and let her know. >> Should we get my blood monitor out of the car? >> Yes. >> We'll send it up to county jail with you. Um, if you want us to contact your wife prior to you getting to county jail, we'd be happy to do that for you. >> Can I call her on the phone >> when you get to county jail, which for our safety, we don't allow anyone to make phone calls prior to getting to county jail. >> Turn this off for you. I don't know how to work iPhones. >> So much. [snorts] I came up to St. I would come in. >> Levi Cash was charged with traveling to meet a minor for an unlawful sexual act and unlawful use of a two-way communications device. His bond was set with conditions prohibiting contact with minors and internet access. If convicted, he faces up to 15 years in prison. On August 28th, 2025, police officers received a cyber tip that a specific IP address was storing explicit materials containing [music] children. Following the trail of digital breadcrumbs, officers arrived at the home of Jeremy Williams, the principal of a junior senior high school in Oregon. >> Hey, Jeremy. >> Holy >> Jeremy. >> Yeah. >> All right. Have you come out here and chat with me real quick? Sure. >> I catch you at like your gym time or something. is going to mow the log, but >> Okay. >> Wow. >> Just take off over here real quick. >> Just real quick to let you know, I am audio video recording. Actually, we all are. Spot [music] camera stuff. >> Any idea why we're here today? Okay. >> Uh I'm going to be real upfront with you. You are under arrest right now. >> Oh. >> There's one of two things we can do. Either we can just go ahead and run you down to jail and >> uh go about our business. I have a search warrant to go through the house as well. >> Okay. >> The alternative is is you can come back. You can have a conversation with me at the office. >> Yeah. Um, it'll [music] give you an opportunity to maybe give your side of it or maybe feel heard. It's just kind of up to you how you want to play it. >> What is this for? >> Across the last couple of months, we've received some information through some various sources about your online conduct. Um, I've [music] had a chance to go through it. Uh, one of my counterparts works for Long VPDS as well. That's why we're having this conversation today. If you want to continue chat chatting [music] about it, >> I prefer to do it down the office >> obviously. >> So, does that that work for you? Okay. >> He was searched before being placed in the back of a squad [music] car and transported to the police station. At the same time, other officers prepared to execute the search warrant at his home. [music] And unfortunately for him, his wife and son were there. >> Hi there. Um, just let you know, we have a search warrant [music] for the house. >> Okay. >> Okay. Um, and we were looking for specific items, electronic items. >> Okay. >> Is there anybody else in the house? >> My son is here. >> Okay. That's you right there. You're Trevor. >> Yes. >> Okay. I'm Jason with the sheriff's office. These were his headphones. I'm going to give them to you. So, um, is anyone else in the house besides the two of you? >> I know. >> Big dogs, small dogs? >> Nope. >> Two. >> Do you have any idea what this is about? >> Nope. >> I have no clue. >> Okay. Um, >> he possibly could have gotten >> what he's done. >> Okay. Um, to let you to let you know, we're recording. Yep. >> It's audio video. Um, I'll let Detective Moore explain what's going on. >> Okay. >> You couldn't help but feel sorry for his family. They were completely oblivious as to what Jeremy had been up to. To make matters worse, Jeremy was a respected member of the community. [music] When word got out, it would affect the entire family. >> So, I'll explain it to you. The the nature of this case, the reason we have to take any desktop computer is we have to look for a very specific type of evidence. And if it's found on any of that stuff, we have to take it. So, anything that he has access to and could potentially have saved something digital to, I need to take. So if we later search it and find out that you know it is just all your school documents, usually we're able to give that back to you. Okay. >> So that's that's what we're doing here. But >> I'm not worried about you having to take whatever you have. I'm letting you know where you would find >> Okay. >> Yeah. Um I think my school laptop is on my back on the downstairs on the back then. >> Is that by the school? >> It's owned by the school. Is that a >> It is. I also work at the school. >> Okay. >> Um I actually um and I will tell you I went home sick this morning cuz my blood sugar had dropped. >> Okay. How are you? >> How are you doing now? >> Oh, I'm I'm doing it. I came home. >> After executing the search warrant, officers seized multiple electronic devices. A forensic examination of Jeremy's phone revealed approximately 2400 files containing CP. Officers also discovered that he had deleted a large amount of evidence before the warrant was served. >> Only thing I can think of is I had a Discord account that was hacked and I went to go do something on it and it says you've been banned. >> Okay. >> And that that was that. >> When was that? >> Juneish. >> Okay. Had it had that ever occurred prior to that? >> No. >> Okay. On the afternoon of his arrest, Jeremy had Googled, "Can law enforcement get a physical address from an IP address?" Although he initially denied knowledge of the materials present on his phone, he eventually changed his tune and came clean. >> So clearly there's some additional concerns there, right? Your access to children that are the same content that was uploaded and downloaded being discussed. Um, I mean, is this something that you're willing to talk about with me or >> to an extent? >> Okay. >> To an extent. >> How long have you been, I guess, doing a seeking it out, collecting? >> It's been less than a year. >> Okay. So, like maybe late fall. >> February. Probably February. >> Okay. So, about the time that these reports started cuz I think my first one's probably early Marchish. >> Yeah. >> Okay. What was the What drove that? I accidentally I was talking to somebody on Reddit I think and they sent it to him. Yeah. Okay. >> When platforms like Discord detect potential CP material, they are legally required to report it. Detection tools such as hash matching systems [music] then scan uploaded files against databases of known illegal content. If a match is detected or if user behavior triggers a moderation review, a cyber tip is generated and the police are notified. >> You said you were having this conversation with somebody on Reddit. They did they just kind of offer it up to you. How'd that conversation come about? >> It was an RP thing roughly sort of thing. We started talking on Reddit then. >> Okay. Like >> Yeah. >> Okay. And so what this person said, hey, are you interested in looking at this or >> it was it was I think it was sent without any, you know, we were doing sending clips back and forth of >> Okay. >> you know, various adult activities. >> Okay. >> Usually Reddit stuff or >> Okay. Sometimes sometimes some, you know, things like that. >> After this interaction with this Reddit user, is this was there like a continued back and forth conversation with the same person or did you kind of start to stumble across other people? just came across others. >> Okay. Tell me about some of those interactions. >> Same sort of thing. People posting looking for, you know, female looking for male >> online chatting stuff. I've never done anything IRL. >> Okay. >> Everything's always been online. And that's a very important distinction considering the position I'm in. I've never done anything with a student at at a student. Never used access their information. Never done anything like that. It's all been online. Unfortunately for Jeremy, that's what they all say. The officers weren't just going to take his word for it. As the principal of a school full of children, they needed to dig deep and ensure no stone was left unturned. >> One of my main concerns right now is your access to children and this being the cont. >> But right now, I'm actually on administrative leave because I wasn't sad that Charlie Kirk got >> Okay. And I I when somebody was talking about it said, "Oh, too bad. Good riddens. >> Okay. >> And they got me. So I'm don't have access to anything anyway. >> Okay. Is that the meeting you were at earlier today? >> Okay. >> Were they just now placing you on ad or >> No, that happened on Thursday. >> Okay. >> Same happened on Wednesday. >> Okay. So just random interactions with other users. It appears like it's mostly through Discord. Is that >> that I use Discord for very very little >> on honestly and that that one was more I don't know. I didn't I didn't use Discord. I had a couple of good connections that I use. >> If he was such a fan of Charlie Kirk, perhaps he should have practiced what he preached. The officers really wanted to understand how he was first introduced to the explicit material. So, they continued to press him. >> When you do receive these images, or I'll even walk that back a little bit. Um, have you ever uh reciprocated to receiving the images? like you they send you an image so you send back one that you've gotten in the past or a video >> that has happened. >> Okay. And just to clarify we >> we are talking about um cam related content. >> Okay. Do you >> This is happening on Reddit or or through Discord. >> Um I mean Reddit is where I where I meet people. >> Okay. >> What about the exchanges? >> Yeah, Discord I guess. >> Okay. >> But you've said you've never sought this out in real life. If you no I've never created I've never produc I've no ever and this like I said this was a stumble across >> predators are always evolving and changing their online activity to stay under the radar of law enforcement. Whenever police officers catch a predator it's an opportunity to learn more about how they operate. >> Obviously if you're reciprocating sending them back you have these images and videos saved somewhere. Is it on your phone? Do you have a hard drive? >> You don't have any anymore. >> You deleted them all. I don't have any. >> Okay. Help me understand what you mean by that because you did you made an important distinction there that >> I do not have any images in my phone or on computer or anything like that. >> Okay. [music] >> Anything that I've gotten has been deleted. I don't I wasn't comfortable keeping things on there. >> Okay. So, you only held them for the couple months you're doing it times going back and then you know you get it's like no I can't have this. This is not good. >> The officers just caught him in a lie. He claimed he had a moral epiphany and deleted [music] the content months ago, but the officers knew that that same day he had deleted hundreds of images when he suspected law enforcement was on to him. >> Is your wife aware of these activities? >> No. >> Okay. So, this it'll be a surprise to her. >> Yeah. >> Okay. Because sometimes, you know, the wives know and they either tolerate it or encourage it or whatever. >> Back out the way we came. Um, drive you right across the way. Principal Jeremy Williams was charged with dealing in depictions of minors engaged in sexually explicit conduct in the first degree, 10 counts of possessing depictions of children engaged in explicit conduct in the first degree, and additional counts of dealing and possessing CP in the second degree. His bail was set at $100,000 with conditions that he have no contact with minors under the age of 16. The case is still ongoing. On June 11th, 2025, police officers were dispatched to a residence following a Snapchat cyber tip that alerted them to inappropriate online contact between a teacher and a 12-year-old child. >> Hello. >> Hey, you Carson. >> Yeah. >> Hey, I'm Detect Band. Please mind if I come in and talk to you real quick? >> Um, can I put put some clothes on first? >> Yeah, that's fine. Yeah. Yeah. >> I'll be right back. Okay. >> Sorry to keep you waiting. >> That's all right. I need to get some of these things from my house. Keep uh keep the bird nest off the porch. >> My roommate had some too right now. >> Okay. Um I just wanted to talk to you inside. I don't want to put your information out public. It's your choice whether we talk or not outside or >> Yeah. Can we do it out here? >> Okay. Yeah, absolutely. So, >> what I'm going to ask from you is two things. >> Um so, I'm doing an investigation right now that you're involved in. Okay. >> Um I'm going to ask if you would allow me to see your bedroom to see if if you're the one who's involved or if I'm on the wrong path. Okay. >> Okay. >> Can we do that? >> Sure. >> Okay. I appreciate it. >> The suspect, Carson, was visibly nervous. His roommate was inside and had no idea that an officer was speaking to his friend about horrible crimes involving children. Nevertheless, he led the officer inside to his bedroom. >> Do you have your cell phone with you right now? I do. >> Okay. Do you have any other computers, laptops, anything like that? >> Uh here. >> Yeah. Is this a work one? >> Yeah. Okay. You mind if we take this with us? Is this just work? >> Mhm. >> Okay. Do you mind if we Does this belong to the UVI? >> Yeah. >> Okay. You mind if we take this with us? >> No. >> Okay. >> All right. So, I'm going to have to have you come down the police department. We're going to have a talk. Okay. Once we get there, I'll explain everything. Nothing to be all worried about. Okay. We just have to make sure that everybody's okay. Welfare checks, no one's hurt, no one's injured, that type of stuff. Okay, >> fair enough. >> Yep. >> Is there any animals or anything that needs taken care of before we take off? >> If it was more serious, you'd be in handcuffs right now. Okay. So, >> sensing that Carson was extremely uncomfortable, the officer did his best to calm his nerves. When people are accused of crimes of such magnitude, there's no telling what they might do when the police come knocking. >> All right. So, because you're going in my truck, I do have Make sure you don't have weapons on you. Okay. But I'm going to do it here. So, we're not out in public. Miss your cell phone. >> Okay. [snorts] You don't have any razor blades or anything in here? >> No. >> I'm going leave your cash where it's at. Just make sure there's no razor blades and put it back in. All right, come in the truck over here. Okay. >> Mhm. >> Hey, Sarge. Can you stand by with him for just a second so I can let Sprig know about the text messages? >> Oh, what? >> It was just the roommate. I don't know if Sprig wants us to talk to the roommate or >> Yeah, I can ride in back pain. >> Yep. >> We're actually I think we're going to have him get in. He's going to watch me in a second while I talk to you. Yep. >> In the front. >> You mean in the front? >> Yep. >> Although officers were playing it cool, Carson was in big trouble. He was a teacher at a local elementary school. And when word got out about his online behavior, his entire life would be upended. After a short drive, they arrived at the police station where the officers continued questioning him. >> So, here's what I'm here for today. So, not only am I a detective here for the city of Urbana, um I'm also part of the task force for the Illinois Crimes Against Children for the State of Illinois, Illinois Attorney General's Office. Okay? My main goal is to make sure there's no kids that are injured, hurt, um have been victims, um been moed, stuff like that. Okay? That's my main goal here. All right? I need honesty, though, because I started chasing some of these people down. I haven't been able to talk to everyone. I don't know everyone you've had contact. Okay? If someone's injured or someone's been a victim, it will be kind of a big deal. Okay? I'll let you know that. Um, we all have fantasies. We all do stuff online. I've been doing this for a long time. Trust me, I sit on this side of the table probably once a week. Okay? Nothing you'll say will surprise me. Will make me think any sort of way. All right? I get it. I've been there, done that. All right? >> The officer didn't waste any time getting into the nitty-gritty. Like the previous suspect, Carson had been betrayed by his own IP address. The platform he was using to prey on minors, flagged his activity, and notified the local police department. >> How initially came across before I started investigating and finding more was uh Snapchat sent us a report. So, anything that's done online is traceable, right? Um it's either traceable by verified accounts, IP addresses, uh keywords within people's uh messages, how people talk. Um we all have a certain way in which we talk. So I'm sure like with music, certain musicians have a certain way in which they play that makes them unique from others. The technology and AI now allows us to be able to identify people through all this stuff. Um, but Snapchat sent us a thing saying um, back in April 7th, 2025, you had a a Snap account. Um, at that time your username was Gaybot or I'm sorry, your your username was Little Gay Bear 37. You've also used um, Gay Daddy and some other ones. Um, you had a conversation with a young man. I think he said he was 12 years old at the time. You asked if he, you know, liked it, liked older guys or whatever. um you guys going through some explicit conversations, whatever. >> The officer went into detail about how Snapchat notified the police department about his illegal activity. The officers learned that Carson had been having explicit chats with an underage boy. Although the police were only notified about some of his conversations, the officers downloaded his entire Snapchat history. >> Say, "Hey, Snapchat, here's what we got going on. I need all the records." Snapchat says, "Okay, here you go." So Snapchat said, "Send us a bunch of records. I've been working with uh Kentucky. There's a town in Kentucky. That's where this boy's from. We had to identify who he was. Make sure that there was no contact, right? And he wasn't victimized." And um he said, "No, it was some online stuff. Um just some chats back and forth, just some words, some fantasies, you know." So I was like, "All right, cool." The concern is now after getting stuff back from Snapchat, we're talking there's multiple people, right? And some we've identified, some we haven't. So if this reminds you, this is the boy in Kentucky. That's what you sent them. Does that look familiar? I mean, it's okay, but we just have to get to the bottom of this. >> Okay. >> Do I need a lawyer? >> It's your choice. >> I think I prefer a lawyer, please. >> No, fair enough. Um, I'm going to respect that. What I will ask is, is there anything on your phone that's going to surprise me? >> I don't think so. Okay. >> Although Carson requested a lawyer, the officer told him that regardless, he would be searching his phone because he had obtained a lawful search warrant for his electronic devices. The officer told him that he wanted to go through his phone with him. As long as there was nothing illegal on it, he could have it back immediately. >> So, your choice. I don't care either way. All right. >> I'll go through with you. >> Okay. Is it okay to search your phone or not? Go for it. >> Is this the only phone you have? >> Yes. I got messages. >> All right. So, I do have enough. I'm going to keep hold of this. Okay. This you can have back. Um, just hang out here for a few. I'll be right back with you. The officer handed Carson's phone over to the tech team to download his contents. And unfortunately for Carson, he wasn't going to be heading home. The law had finally caught up with him. So, he has to face the consequences. All right, Carson, since we didn't have the opportunity to explain any of it away, you are going to have to go to jail today. Okay. So, need you go ahead and stand up for me. I'm going to put that in our evidence and then you can collect that when you get out. Okay. You got broad shoulders. So, I'm going to use two pairs of handcuffs, so they don't get hurt your shoulders. Okay. Walk out this way for me, please. Go straight to this door. Back to the elevator. So, one thing I will ask for safety reasons only. Do you have access to any children? >> No. Okay. >> Step in, please. So just let you know you'll be booked in on indecent solicitation of a child full exploitation of a minor and uh possession of child victim under 13 uh video. >> Carson was denied bond and remained in custody after his arrest. [music] Investigators continued reviewing the digital evidence and 3 months later he was charged with two counts of receiving CP and one [music] count of transferring obscene material to a minor. The case has since been handed over to federal jurisdiction. On October 1st, 2025, police officers in Berrytown, Vermont were dispatched to a middle school following reports that [music] a substitute teacher was exhibiting unusual behavior. Police identified the woman as 47year-old Melissa Martin, who allegedly admitted to using illegal substances at the school. >> 98% >> I'm sorry, what was that? >> 98% oxygen. >> Oh my god. I'm so sorry. I know. Oh my god. my family as soon as these. So, did she show up like that? >> What have I done? >> Are the kids in >> Oh my god. >> Let them get into the cafeteria and then we are going into a clear the halls for the entire school. >> Melissa was completely off her rocker. Investigators believe she had been taking cocaine resulting in her strange behavior. She said she didn't need an ambulance, but due to her erratic state, the officer requested one anyway. >> Where is her stuff? >> She has cocaine in the building right now. >> That's what I was curious. >> We're going to There's no way she didn't do it here. It sets on immediately. >> 575 57. I'm not slide over yet. I don't know if this is herself or not. She said it's in her jacket. That's a jacket. I'm not going to touch it. >> 575 573. You want to slide over here? >> Is this 100% right now? >> It It might not be. >> Just let me >> I can have the canine. Just do a sniff. 100%. >> It's a chick and she's like visibly high. like uh she's in Erica Pearson's office like tweaking right now. I'm in the classroom where supposedly she had the coke. I mean, she has it here. She didn't show up high. Like she is like tweaking right now. >> According to staff, a student had actually witnessed her using what appeared to be cocaine. While Melissa was led out of the building and to an ambulance, the officers searched her classroom for contraband. >> Train drugs in here. Wouldn't [snorts] you know, the K9 officer went straight to Melissa's desk and signaled that an odor of narcotics was detected. [music] The officers confiscated her belongings, but needed to read her her Miranda rights before searching them. >> She tried to tell the um she told the EMTs again that she used it this morning. And he was like >> he was like, "Nope. When?" And she just said, "I don't know." And then he said, "How much?" She said, "I don't know." And but she said, "I just kept putting it on my tongue." >> So she was rubbing it and the gum was in her tongue. >> Okay. I just want to make sure it wasn't like in a bathroom somewhere and then in a trash >> or right here. She's just >> Yeah. >> kind of unbelievable. >> Have that nerve 35 seconds. >> Oh, the students did. >> How did it come in? >> She's quick with it. >> Um she's always something >> was face to face with Melissa and I'm like something's off and I got >> and then I looked over and said, "What did you do?" >> Yeah. Yeah. Because >> so the students, they weren't already out to recess at that point. >> So an eighth grade student on his way stopped in. No, >> he was getting ready. They were getting ready to go and he literally said, "She's high." But he also comes from a background in which he would be able to identify that. >> Yeah. >> It sounded out of this world. An eighth grade student told faculty that a substitute teacher was high before the staff intervened. Next, the officers made their way over to the hospital to speak with Melissa, who was still far from sober. Melissa, >> other than cocaine, have you used any other substances? >> Are you snorting or guessing? >> I'm snorting on my tongue. >> Okay. My boyfriend and I fighting and he's [clears throat] [snorts] like a narcissist and I stayed up all night looking [laughter] for an apartment. [snorts] >> How much cocaine do you think you're [laughter and clears throat] using every day? [cough] I don't I don't know. [laughter] I never tried it ever. >> It was unfortunate to hear that she had been going through a hard time with her boyfriend. But she was an adult and had children to teach. It was her responsibility to show up to her teaching engagement sober. >> So Melissa, I'm here for our aspect of this and our investigation into this obviously. So I do have a couple of questions for you based on that. So what exactly happened today? Will you tell me? >> See my finger and dabby and stay awake in the night. >> So I overheard you talking with a doctor. You said you were fighting with your boyfriend and up all night last night. So you were trying to stay awake today at school. Is that what was happening? >> Yeah. Well, yeah. Okay. >> No, I'm tired. >> Okay. And when at school and where in the school were you using the cocaine? >> I didn't use it at the school. In the school. >> So, well, I'm going to be honest with you. >> I had it in my pocket in my jacket. >> Well, your jacket was in the school, >> right? >> So, >> I wore my jacket into the school, but I didn't do any at school. So, there's still some in your jacket pocket. >> Yeah. >> The officer told her that it wasn't his first time dealing with individuals on drugs. He knew that cocaine is fast acting, but that the high doesn't last very long. Judging from her behavior, he didn't believe that the last time she'd ingested the drug was hours ago. >> I swear to God, I >> So, she's at the school. I >> My assumption is is the kids went out for recess and lunch and that's when it would have happened. Is that true? No, they had eighth grade came in >> and and one of the boys said Miss Biz was hot. Her left. No, a girl came back into the room and she goes, >> "Why are you twitching your feet like that? Can you try to stop doing that?" Okay. >> My legs go all the time. >> So you said e one of the eighth graders came into the room or did he see out in the hallway? Um, I had that class. I was teaching that class and one of the girls that was in the class came back into the classroom and she's like um so and so the student's name and she said he's a little snitch. And I said, "What are we talking about?" And she goes, "He's saying that you're high." She kept insisting that she didn't do any drugs at school, claiming the last time she took them was in her car before she arrived on school grounds. The officer asked her where she got the cocaine, but she dodged the question, saying she just found it. >> So, where we're at right now is we brought a canine into that classroom. We ran the canine around your stuff. The canine hit on both your backpack and your jacket. So, you can either consent to us searching your jacket in your backpack, or what's going to happen is we're going to take them back to the police department. We're going to write a search warrant and a judge will make a determination as to whether or not to grant that search warrant for the backpack and the jacket. [music] >> You can search the backpack. >> Okay. Can I search the jacket, too? >> Okay. >> [music] >> I think it couldn't get any more clear than that. >> A search of her jacket immediately turned up narcotics and the test proved positive for cocaine. The officer tried to deliver the news to her, but she continued to freak out, apologizing and saying she didn't want to go to jail. >> Listen, what this is is the citation to court right here. It's going to be for next Thursday at 8:30 in the morning. You're going to be charged with reckless endangerment and cocaine possession. >> So, at the time, you're going to show up. >> Reckless endangerment. >> Reckless endangerment. And for bringing drugs into a school is what that is. It >> It's reckless because if a kid gets possession of those drugs, kid could have serious health complications for that. And the drugs were left unattended in a classroom. >> So, that was the reckless nature of it. So, if you don't show up at that time and date, there will be a warrant for your arrest. You do understand that? >> Okay. Will you sign acknowledgement? You understand that? >> No. >> Okay. >> Melissa was issued a citation for reckless endangerment and cocaine possession. She pleaded not guilty to all charges and is expected back in court later this year. On January 29th, 2025 in Washington, Illinois, police officers were dispatched to an elementary school following reports that a student teacher made a concerning comment [music] over social media. Can I be in here or would you rather I not be to begin? I just need to know what happens when it's done because we're going to have to deal with it. >> Yeah. Um you want to us take it first and then >> Yeah, we can fill them in. >> Yeah, we'll we're going to tell you everything. So, >> okay. >> So, did you see the post or >> No, I haven't seen the post and I was I was looking up the actual ILCS. >> Yeah, Brian says fast forward this early. That's what I was seeing. >> Okay. Who's complaining? >> Well, so Snap Snapchat is the one that actually reported this to the FBI. >> Okay. >> So, when was the post made? >> Uh, like an [music] hour ago. >> Okay. >> The teacher had no idea that the police were waiting for her. While they waited for her to arrive, the officers discussed their game plan. One thing was for certain, the teacher was about to have a seriously bad day. Oh, here she is. >> Hello. >> Hi. I'm Deputy Sean with the sheriff's office. Uh, do you happen to have your phone on you? >> I do. Yes. >> Okay. If you want to hand that to me, please. >> Yes. >> Okay. Um, the reason we're in contact anything else on you if you wouldn't mind just lifting up your you got any weapons on you? >> No. >> Okay. All right. The reason we're here is Have you been on Snapchat earlier today? >> Um, yes, I was. Yeah. >> Okay. And uh like I said, well, I'll go get some stuff first while we you want to >> hold off for a second. Sure. >> If you want to hold that, I'll go grab cuz I don't got the warning or anything. >> Okay. >> You can ask. >> All right. Ready to get up here. So, um like I said, I don't know if introducer, I do want to go and just read your rights to you real quick. Okay. >> Okay. >> The officers read the woman her Miranda writes. Afterwards, she agreed to answer their questions. She didn't seem to be worried, almost as if she thought she hadn't done anything wrong. But as she was about to find out, the officers had evidence to the contrary. >> We got a call about a snap. So, did you happen to make one today? >> I I did. Yeah. >> And what did you say in the snap? >> Um, I sent a lot of snaps back and forth. I don't know. I'm allowed to take pictures of the kids. Um, my supervisor from ISU said, "Take as many pictures as you can." Um, so I take pictures of the kids. I took a picture of one kid because I always tell stories about it. >> Yeah. >> Um, so I have that saved. Um, I can delete it if you want, but I do have a picture of one of the students, but I keep it for like my safe keepings of the kids. >> She said she had just been sending messages to her boyfriend and her friend who was having an anxiety attack. She said she didn't really know what the officers were talking about. >> Did any of the kids kind of make you mad today? >> No. >> Nothing about your computer or anything like that? >> Um, they No, I was I had a lesson plan and one of the kids turned off my computer on my lesson plan and I was like, "Oh, dang." But that was I never get mad with the kids ever. >> Did Well, did you snap after that? Did you >> No. No. >> Nothing at all? >> No. Yeah. I mean, >> what? I'm so confused. >> Okay. >> So, what I'm going to show you is the snap we received. >> Okay. >> That is you, correct? >> Oh, yes. But, okay. Yes. >> This was a joke, though. But yes, >> whatever the snap was, she said she sent it to three friends in a private chat. She claimed she realized it was a bad joke, but that it was private and wasn't shared publicly. She told the officers she wasn't a violent person and the whole thing was just blown out of proportion. >> Um Ro asked like, "Do you know what's going to happen?" >> Um well, I'm going to call our supervisor here as soon as I was going to wait for the kids at least as they leave right now, right? So, uh I'm going to step out and talk to him real quick. um if you like to write, which you know happened with this or it's up to you. Um I mean you told us that um it was a joke, but >> I know >> it could be bad. I mean like >> I know. >> Yeah. >> So, okay. So, I'm going to be honest with you. Um this is a serious offense. Okay. >> I know. >> Um how we got it was the FBI. Okay. >> Oh, okay. >> So, I mean, you did say shoot. Yeah. >> Uh student. And so you are going to go with us. Okay. I do got to process you. Um you're going to have to stay the night in jail. >> Okay. >> Oh my god. This is crazy. >> I know. I know. >> I did not mean it to get to this far. Like this is insane. >> I know. But how today is I mean we if we said I believe you and >> I know I know I know >> it's it's it's tough. I'm going be honest. Like I said, I um we were going with what we saw and so we have to respond that way. >> With everything going on in schools these days, threats of this nature, whether meant is a joke or not, are taken very seriously. As the officer said, even if he believes she was just joking around, they still had to investigate it. >> So, at least you're being honest with me and said you did it. >> Yeah. >> Um and it was a joke. >> Uh you thought it was only being sent to three people, but Yeah. >> Um, and it wasn't your How How would you say you were with him? Actually, it it wasn't >> Were you mad at the kid or were you just trying to be funny when you did that? The >> like the pose? >> Yeah, >> it was just a funny pose. I wasn't even mad. >> Like, I wasn't even mad. That's >> why I'm more mad at myself right now. >> The officers gave her some background information on what to expect at the [music] station. Regardless, she was going to be spending the night in a jail cell until a judge reviewed the officer's report and decided what to do with her. >> Hey, it's me. >> I'm at the school right now and I made a stupid post on Snapchat and it was a joke. It was fully a joke. It was so stupid. And now somehow the cops came and they found me and they're taking me to jail. They're taking me to peek in. I wish this was a joke. I really do. I'm so scared. [laughter] They're taking me to peek in. So, I need you to meet me out and peek. It looks like peek in jail. Peek and counting jail. I need you to meet me there. I don't know what it was. Just a joke. It was a stupid Snapchat. And now [laughter] it's got I'm so sorry. I don't know what to do. >> [laughter] >> It's Pin County Joe. >> Tazwell County. >> Taz. Pean County Jail. They're making these spend at night. [laughter] >> I'm so sorry. I'm such an idiot. >> It really did seem like it was just a bad joke gone wrong. But as a student teacher, she should have known that schools have a zero tolerance policy for this kind of thing. The only silver lining was that at least she was young and had a lot of time to turn her life around. Here's what we're going to do. We're just going to walk you out. Okay. >> When we get out to my car, I'm going to put a belt on you and put You got to be handcuffed. So, I'm just going to handcuff you in the front. >> Okay. >> Okay. Yeah. >> You're being cooperative. Um, >> so do you have any other questions for us? >> No. >> Like I said, and we really don't know what the states will do in the morning. I'll be honest. Like said, um, >> take that part. Okay. Can you take that? Okay. and I'll uh I'll take her stuff. >> Okay. >> We can put it in the back of your car at that time property. She was booked on an allegation of disorderly conduct. Officers later stated that the comment was made out of exasperation and that she was not considered a threat. No court records indicate that formal charges have been filed. The school district sent a letter stating that the student teacher would not be returning to the school to finish her educational assignment. On February 21st, 2025, police officers were dispatched to a school after a student reported seeing 24year-old substitute teacher Diane Lee Torres sitting calmly as a 14-year-old student lay his head in her lap while she stroked his head. Officers arrived on the scene [music] and along with the principal and an assistant spoke to witnesses >> Sam whatever we talk about in here stays in here. No one knows that you're having a conversation with us. Um but can you tell me about yesterday >> in [music] class? >> As in Miss Do you have to class? >> Yeah. Did you see anything weird in there? >> No, it was just a normal class day. >> Can I ask you a question? >> Mhm. So, several people have told us that they saw somebody sitting on Miss Torres's lap. >> You never saw any of that? >> I did not see anyone sitting on Miss Taus's lap. But you were And were you in their seventh period? >> Yes. I I'm being serious. >> In both periods you were in, you didn't see anybody sitting [music] on Missura's lap? >> No. >> Was anybody I mean, was anyone in her lap at all? >> Like laying their head in her? >> No. No. Sam was adamant that he didn't see any inappropriate behavior between Miss Torres and any of the students, but seeing as it was a big class, it was possible he just wasn't paying attention. To get to the bottom of things, they interviewed more students. >> I went in there, everything was normal, and I went to lunch, came back, and then when I came back from lunch, there was like a student like not sitting on her lap, but his face was like on her lap. And then I didn't like mind it like cuz I I wanted to do my work and I'm like uh that she could deal with that. [music] And then and then when I left and then when I came back for all my work done so I went to her >> I was in there with another person and [music] and I saw the same thing then. >> He said he thought it was a little weird as it was a teacher and student and he was right. It definitely was inappropriate behavior. He said he didn't know the student's name because the student wasn't in his class and the activity took place between periods. Eventually, the teachers tracked down the student involved and brought him into the office. >> Tell me, tell me what's going on. >> As long as be honest, low key, I think all of her seventh period just hates her. >> All of her seventh period hates her. >> Yeah. I don't know why, but they just This is like apparently the second time this happened or something. Okay. What what makes you think that? >> Uh low key because they always be cursing at her and they don't stop and they be throwing stuff in her room and she be telling them to stop and they just don't. >> Okay. So, I guess my question is why why do you think that you're in here talking to us right now? Cuz you're not in any trouble. I want you to know that you're not in trouble. Um we're just trying to make sure >> I'm already filled in on a situation. You don't got to >> Okay. What what what's the situation? >> Oh. Uh what's it? My other friend told me that uh apparently she's getting like told that somebody sat in her lap or something. >> Okay. >> Mhm. >> Was that you? >> No. >> Or Okay. So, cuz somebody showed us, you know, a video and it it kind of looks like you. So, what is what is going on? >> I didn't sit in her lap. >> Well, I wasn't saying sitting, but your head was there. >> I Yeah, I was laying down, but like nothing weird's going on, man. Like, I'm just going to be completely honest. Nothing weird's going on. While the student might have thought the situation wasn't that weird, it was still highly inappropriate for a teacher to have contact with a student like that, the officer was concerned that Miss Torres's classroom behavior might only have been the tip of the iceberg. >> Um, >> have you ever talked to her outside of school? >> Well, I mean on board obviously, but >> Yeah, but not not like that. >> Um, you've never met her outside of school? >> No. Okay. You ever been to her house? >> No, man. You're trying to make her seem like a >> Oh, no. No, I'm not. No, no, >> she's really not. >> I just There are questions I have to ask. >> She's got like a girlfriend at all. Like, if you want me to be serious, she's not doing anything weird. >> All right. So, she doesn't touch you in a way that you think's inappropriate. >> No. >> Okay. >> So, you just have like an what you perceive to be an innocent relationship? >> I know you're trying to make it seem like >> No, I'm not. I want >> No, you're I'm being serious. You are. You're over here like, "Oh, she's doing all this." She's really not. Like I'm the one who asked for her Discord. Like that's all me. She, you know, she just being nice. It's whatever. It's whatever. She does not like kids or anything like that. I can like affirm to you it's not that weird. Like there's other teachers here who we get who do all the same stuff and don't get in trouble, you know? Like she got in trouble for cursing or something the other day. That's that's crazy to me because she's new. I know. But that's a normal thing. Like y'all probably curse too, don't you? So, and there's other teachers here who be cursing at me and other kids. So, if y'all want to fire her for that and other stuff, y'all got to fire them, too. >> He was becoming increasingly defensive of Miss Torres, almost as if he were protecting someone he loved. Next, the officer called the boy's grandfather, who had custody of him, to inform him of the situation. >> So, uh, I'm writing it up. He he didn't make any disclosure of anything me, but it it uh just the way he was defending her. Um it, you know, and I've been doing this for 12 years. It it it's suspicious. Um [music] just the the fact that he was defending her, saying that she's not a file, you know, it's not like that. Um it it's very it it's very it says ship to me. Um and which he'd be the victim of. I'm not saying he's in trouble or anything like that. Um, >> this is not even this is not even like him, >> right? Yeah. >> You can play with an adult online. He knows better, >> right? >> Because I'm like I'm like a computer geek and I don't want to go through this computer like a maniac. >> Right. So that I'm trying to say is if I find stuff on there with this woman on it, should I keep it? >> Well, that that brings me to the next point. So I just talked to I'm obviously writing up a case um and it's going to be forwarded to our crimes division. Uh, and the detective told me to ask you if you guys are willing for us to um collect the phone, his phone, and um do a consent to search form uh where they will open the Discord and see what they can find. >> Okay. >> The boy's grandfather was more than willing to let the officers forensically search his grandson's electronic devices. The officer told the man that his grandson said that if his parents knew he had been talking with his teacher over Discord, they wouldn't care. But his grandfather said that absolutely wasn't the case. >> He didn't say that about me. He knows better than to say that about me. So >> I've already had discussions with him about who he talks to online, who he doesn't give his name to online, his real address online. I've already given these these speeches. >> Yep. >> You know, I've given him all these speeches and I told him if I protect you doing it, I'll take it all away. >> Right. So, he's full of He knows damn well that he don't play that game with me. >> A forensic search of the boy's phone revealed nude photos and videos of Torres. Explicit photos of the victim, actual conversations and drawings created by Torres, and conversations about hiding the relationship until he turned 18. But most disturbing was a nude photo of Torres with the victim's name written across her thigh. As a result, Torres was brought to the police station for questioning. So obviously, you know, I have the messages from Discord, stuff like that. >> Um, and I know you guys are talking about like hickeys, stuff like that. Tell me about those. >> Um, those are mainly this is like we go back and forth and talk about the ideas of it. Obviously, he's giving me some. Obviously, I've given him some, which is why I mentioned the neck part. >> Yeah. Okay. So, that's what you're talking about. The neck like kickes. >> Okay. >> Those are mainly like the same. >> Okay. >> Mhm. >> How many times have you guys hung out? I know you said once earlier, but how many times in real life? If I had to like count like count count like maybe three three times max you sending videos of you m >> Mhm. >> Okay. Has he sent anything like that back to you? >> Mhm. Not any videos. >> Okay. So you don't have any videos on your phone? >> No, not at all. >> Okay. And all this started within the last month? >> Yeah. >> Okay. When you guys started like dating, what you would call >> last month? Yeah. >> Okay. Okay. >> It was a disturbing admission, but her story was laced with lies. She said they had only been chatting for a month, even though the officers had evidence that their secret relationship had been going on for over a year. She said that the only physical contact she'd had with the boy was kissing, but the officer didn't believe her. >> But yeah, it's like like I said, like we were saying, yeah, we've touched each other each other. You'll probably, like I said, you have to discard messages and stuff. So, you'll see that we talk about like pain, which is just essentially sex. We just made mad jokes about him half the time. It's just a lot of I'm going to you. Oh, okay. But I'm going to you. Oh, okay. But that's >> nothing that's actually happened in that sense. >> We like we like talk about it, but I'm just like it's like very jokingly like he knows there's a fine line. So, >> Gotcha. >> Even then. >> Yeah. >> Okay. Um I know there was some text I'm trying to remember um about like some like breathing through your nose, some deep breathing, things like that. Um is that something that happened when you guys hung out? >> Oh yeah. Okay. Yeah. So you performed >> Okay. Um, did that happen one time? More than one time? >> Two times. >> Two times. Okay. >> Although she denied it, her 14-year-old victim said they had intercourse multiple times. Torres is being held at the Marian County Jail without bond. The case is still ongoing. On April 12th, 2022, police officers were dispatched to Hammet Bowen Elementary School after staff noticed that something was off with first grade teacher Adams. >> Suppose she was trying to get in this bathroom to find something. >> Yeah, I've searched a lot of bathrooms for drugs before. I watch a lot of prison shows, too. Yep. That's definitely Gomi that's got the hand on it. So, one might have pads and another has something else in it or something. >> You want to look at Yes. This seems to be feminine materials. This is all fine. This is fine. This is fine. Nothing in here aside from that. This yellow bag is quite heavy. >> Before Hiomi left the school grounds for the afternoon, she hid a few small pouches in the washroom. While one contained feminine hygiene products, the other contained something else entirely. They're empty, but there's >> Okay. >> Two cartridges. gift card. Oh my god. You want to do this? Open that up. There's a straw in there. [snorts] There's a straw. It's empty, but there's a straw in there. And I think that's a generic for Xanax. Alrazolam. Isn't that a generic for Xanax? >> Please make that call. Yes, ma'am. >> At that point, the officer couldn't say what was inside the bottle. He would have to rely on a drug testing kit for that. Next, he called his supervisor for advice on how to proceed. In the meantime, he took a closer look at what was in the bottle. >> Yeah, I'm trying to look at this now. Hold on a second. Right now it's in a >> it's in a pill bottle, but let me take this stuff out because it has a straw as well. >> Yeah, it does. Uh I'm bad with pronunciations, but it's like Ephranism. >> A L P R A Z O L A M. >> Yeah, that thing. >> Okay. And then there's a pill like in a little baggie. Let me see what it looks like. >> It's half a pill and it's like a green tint in color. >> I'm trying to see if it has any markings on it. >> It's like a The only a marking I see is like a E. >> And then the other side, let me see what it says. >> [clears throat] >> It's like a It looks like a F almost. It's hard to see, but it's like a mint green pill. >> I got to see if this comes back to that type of uh medication. >> The officer supervisor instructed him to write up a report before conducting a drug test on the bottle's contents. Whatever it was, it was in a bottle of anti-depressants, and had all the contraband to go with it. And >> they snorted it. You going to see the erratic behavior? >> What is it? >> Um, I can't pronounce that name. It's al alo alpres al whatever it is. >> Yeah, it's a depressive. So basically what they do is they stored it and uh it goes straight to the system. So you start seeing a lot of erratic behaviors with this type of medication. I just got to verify to make sure that this prescription >> But you're not supposed to do that. Correct. >> No, I am. >> They're I'm talking about the person is not supposed to take it that way. Am I correct? >> Yeah. Yeah. It still is not um for us if it comes back that this pill belongs to this pill bottle is not a criminal offense because it actually belongs to her. >> But is she supposed to be crushing it and taking it >> technically? No. But she's not breaking law with us. So, but she also has a a vaping mechanism. >> A vaping? What do you mean vaping? >> Vaping like tobacco. >> Vaping. That doesn't >> Yeah. But do we know what's in there? >> Yeah, I I have a tester. So, I'm taking all this to my office. >> Okay. >> So, these are little cartridge. >> What is that? >> Uh, this is the the stuff you smoke. So, you connect it to this. >> And it's a vaping license. >> No, but sometimes it also can be tobacco. So, I have a little test kit that I could test it just to make sure that it is tobacco. And but that's the only things that we found. >> Vaping is a big problem among school kids. How the teacher could be so unfamiliar with vaping products was strange to say the least. [music] The officer determined that the pill was MDMA, commonly referred to as ecstasy. But they also needed to test the liquid in her vape to see if it contained THC. >> Apparently, a teacher's been acting really erratic and uh she's like off this whole school year and some teachers. So I guess today she was acting even more drug test. She seems like she's going to the back. Um, but I guess she didn't have the opportunity to grab what she needed. And when I checked up top on top of the light, I found this here. I mean, it's definitely orange. So, that's kind of I think it's chargeable. >> I mean, you do see it's got I think the majority of the product is probably tobacco at this point. >> Mhm. >> Because I usually get a much stronger read. >> All right. only. But I do think that there's I do think there's going to be THC oil in there. >> It looked like it was a hit for THC. It was hard to imagine how she thought she could get away with taking ecstasy and inhaling marijuana before [music] teaching a class, but she obviously pushed it too far and her behavior gave her away. >> So, is she scheduled to come back here or go back home? >> No, she I don't know what I I know where she is. So if you need to know where she is, I can give you that information. But um she is doing a wellness check for me right now. >> Okay. So I'll run by my court, but I can tell you right now, you have all to arrest. She's in possession of MDMA without >> What is that? >> That's ecstasy. >> What is that? Where is that? >> That pill that's in that bottle. >> So the bill bottle is for Xanax with her name on it. That's >> I understand what I know. >> Yeah, that's modeling. Um, go ahead and swab your straw. >> Okay. >> So that way you can show that it pops her MDNA also because that's what she's doing. She's crushing the ecstasy up and and snorting it. >> Right. >> Hiomi wasn't on school grounds, but the officer made it clear that she was to be arrested. Under no circumstances should a teacher have THC on their person when teaching, let alone ecstasy. >> Without a doubt, she's getting arrested. >> There is no antibod about that. It's just a matter of when and [music] where. >> Um I would prefer that >> once she is she going back home after the long check. >> I don't know. I I don't know. >> But I mean is she supposed to come back to the school? >> No. No sir. >> Okay. And so that's what I would prefer to do. >> Okay. >> Is interview her and arrest her away from here so that way that it's not here. Does that make sense? >> That makes sense to me. >> So >> the good thing is is once she's done with her wellness check, she doesn't come back here. So that's that's a plus for us. Okay. >> Is this like I need to call the district? >> Oh, yeah. >> You want me to go out >> to her house and interview her? >> Yeah, we'll get there in a minute. >> The same day, officers paid a visit to heromi at her home. She was arrested and charged with possession of MDMA and Suboxone. In the end, the person who was supposed to set the example ended up breaking the rules. They thought they could get away with it, but the police [music] knew this school teacher was hiding something.
