after she assaulted a law official and let's not forget about the young teen who was caught with stolen beauty products so if you're keen on seeing a few entitled teams getting caught by officers you better stick around let's get right into the first one on the 16th of August 2023 Roswell police officers were called to a Walmart a young woman left the store without paying for a few items she was later identified as Cheryl somro the officers first made contact with her in the parking area of the super Center here's the body cam footage from officer Pritchard okay let go let go come this way security room and the officers ask her if she stole the hoodie and the sunglasses that she's currently wearing she tells them that she did steal the hoodie but if they let her go she'd pay for all the items that she took however it's a bit too late for that the officer asks the suspect if she's taking any drugs and she tells him she's a Fenty user sorry yeah you're fine give me your hand them I warrant for Cheryl's arrest she tells the officer that she accidentally slept in the previous day and she missed her court date for driving without a license well at least she'll be well rested for the trip to jail I'm scared made a poor choice today so I'm going to go to jail today more than likely my the guy you were with huh the guy you're with what do you mean the guy you were walking around the store with I didn't walk out with anyone you didn't walk out but you were walking with somebody the whole time was an older guy no he was just walking like near me I mean he wasn't walking l so he followed you throughout the store no he didn't follow me okay he's my friend and we were kind of like talking here and there but he was like kind of you know on his own mission who was your mission through all her 10 foil papers for any leftover however she's already consumed them all they then ask her where she lives and she tells them that she's currently homeless and in between places at the moment the officer tells Cheryl that even though she's sorry she's still going to be trespassed from the storm you I notice a lot people are only sorry after they get caught it's pretty crazy they're not sorry why they do it but they're sorry when they get caught I do feel sorry every time I do it I do it and I don't know why I do it I don't know it' be like stabbing somebody and just going sorry and then continue stabbing them does that make sense well I mean have you ever heard of you know have you ever heard of a therapist say that you know those things could be an addiction shoplifting yeah shoplifting can be an addiction so it's hard and I don't want I don't want to do it but I find myself doing it anyway then I don't want to and I know it don't get me in trouble what what therapist do you go to no of course not I'm not saying it is you used to have a yeah I used to work at waterburger what therapist do you go to I don't go to a therapist anymore you go to a rehab huh on your own but it still doesn't justify stealing the suspect comes up with lots of excuses but won't take responsibility for her actions the officers try to give her some sound advice and tell her she should go to Goodwill and ask for some help Cheryl signs the form that says she's been trespassed and the officers then escort her back to the car and take her to jail back in you want in the No No I want her in the back I was like that's all right close it [Music] Cheryl was charged with shoplifting and according to the police report she stole the hoodie a sling bag two bras and three thongs her case is still pending at the moment and let's hope Cheryl gets the help she needs she apparently thought she could get away with stealing at the Walmart but she wasn't nearly as crazy as our next suspect on the 4th of July 2023 an officer responded to a call of a woman acting suspicious in a store when he arrived on scene he spoke with one of the workers she said that when she spoke to the suspect the suspect acted as if she couldn't hear and that she refused to leave her bag at the front of the store all right so the store does not want you shopping here anymore so we need you to go to the front with us real quick okay do you have an idea on you what's that now okay well a tight we'll walk up here to the front and uh we're going to get your information real quick cuz they don't want they want you to trespass you for what well they asked you to leave your bag and you don't want to leave your bag so well that's that's their right as a store do you have your ID you're not free to leave do you understand that okay where's your ID I don't have ID okay okay my I'm sorry I have a okay you don't have an ID with you okay and the manager didn't talk to you at [Music] all what's your what's your last name last name because they want you trespass from the store so provide this Deputy your provide this Deputy your information and you'll be on your way in just a minute no you cannot last name I promise you this is going to get a lot worse if you don't tell your name and follow through this right now all they want all they want you is to give you give us your name and then they're going to trespass you from the store you're not allowed in the store anymore that's all this is but if you resist and you don't give us your name and stuff then it goes I'm sorry spell it s ax the shoplifter Julia Saxton doesn't have an ID or driver's license on but that doesn't mean she's getting out of being trespassed from the store now Julia sticks to her story and tells the off officers that she gave the correct information to them you don't you don't have anything you've never had anything you're 23 years old and you never had an identification card okay cuz here's what we're going to do we're going to walk out to my car and I'm going to put your finger on a fingerprint scanner because that name you gave us is not coming back so this is your one and only chance to start coming resisting arrest with violence and giving a false name when she was detained her bail was set at $7,000 on the 15th of July 2023 officers responded to a call at a local Festival a woman there was apparently shoplifting she was warned multiple times to leave but she didn't listen and kept on returning to the festival pay them yet because I didn't do that stop I didn't do that yet stop your I she has to go home now because she has to take care of them I'm confused how's she taking care of her children if she spent half the day at the festival stealing the suspect should have thought about her children before coming back to the festival now she's in handcuffs and the kids are going to have to stay with a sitter for a while maintain our officers got I am an officer stop I am an officer I that's illegal you don't touch me like that unhandcuff me now nope do no she was in fact not UNH handcuffed the officer took the wannabe officer to the police vehicle after he patted her down however massive fight at around 7:48 p.m. on March 12th 2024 Sergeant Edward celic with the Hoboken Police Department went to a shop right at 900 Madison Street after a call about four young females stealing he entered the store and spoke with loss prevention and as it turned out three of the four girls had previously shoplifted at this same store what's that 20 you 20 you 23 you 21 how 21 all right just so you know saw the camera everything up there he only paid for some of the stuff he watched it too supposedly it's happened yesterday okay who I'm sorry nobody has ID [Music] you have any Jers driver's license or Jersey ID not on you but do you have one everybody has one do you have an ID though all right so what's going to happen is um for yesterday's incident this not the first time it happened it's happened yesterday as well um for yesterday's incident it applies to only u3 she was yesterday um for today's inent it's for all four of you um you'll be charged with shoplifting you'll also be charged yeah um you didn't pay for stuff you pass All Points of sales and that's considered shoplifting once you leave the store you also be store you'll be charg so how much is and then we're going to explain everything and then you also be banned from the store you'll be signning this trespassing form that you're not allowed in any of our shops the four young women Alana Amir annaya and ncha were all caught on camera shoplifting the officer checked out the surveillance footage and you can clearly see the suspects concealing a few items before walking away from the checkout that's it going to walk out with everything she's about to say she's busy or whatever MH another car here at 425s 200 200 um just start making just start sending another car down here we're just waiting to VI with security footage to make sure um they're going to chop with everything but um just start sending another car down here so it looks like we're have two 105 but we'll let you know according to the Lost prevention officer the weren't able to apprehend the suspects in their previous shoplifting spree because they were focusing most of their resources towards another shoplifter that day after signing the form that states they've been trespassed from the store the officers placed the females in cuffs an itemized print out was then reviewed showing the value of the stolen items and all four suspects were then taken to the back of cop cars y okay everybody stand up you have yeah stand up for can I put your hands your back do that we'll grab your phone why do you leave behind in front of of the cars Chelsea put her in one one of the cars them too the young women were transported to the Hoboken police department at the police headquarters they were searched in more detail and officer Quinn fingerprinted and photographed each of them after all that trouble the suspects were released with a summon to appear in court each of them were charged with shoplifting and hopefully they won't do it again especially since it turned out that both Alana and annia were pregnant at the time of the arrest on the 10th of January 2023 a Walgreens employee called police regarding a teen who stole a basket of beauty products and a bunch of plan B's totaling over $2,500 office ERS arrived on the scene and spoke to the employee can you describe the suspect please um black male looks like a female um it's a female dress as a male no as a male dressed as a female uh-huh um black long braids before we are to get a fresh I think it was a v-neck black shorts um I'm not sure if it was a skinny taller than me so maybe like 58 59 how many pounds you say4 said slim no slim one one one subject you see get okay would you be able to recognize him if you saw him again okay tell the dollar amount how much you the merchandise is9 perfect this isn't the first time they've been in I have Cas okay like the action the generic is right next to it that was passed through me and all that and he looked when he was going to the door he turned around and so it was very easy to okay did you see him walk out yes he did well of course with a with if you were to see him again would you be able to recognize him of course would all right sound crime on the 18-year-old fled the store in a car with two females who were apparently unaware of what the teen had done the te had quite the reputation of stealing only a week prior they stole $3,000 worth of items luckily after a brief search the officers located the fleeing shoplet yeah that's fine just all the way back all the way back got yeah keep and find all the stolen items and with the sum of all of it they can charge Travis with a felony Travis was arrested once before prior to this incident they're escorted to the back of a vehicle so charges if they weren't in cahoots with Travis a detective on the scene explains to Travis what the charges are and why the charge is a felony all the stuff that do you want to talk about it like I want to talk to you and I want to talk about it so if he's going to take you back to the station take you back to the C Springs Police Department and then I'll meet you back there so what about them you as and we'll go from there all right it's because of the amount of the property that was taken anything over $750 in the State of Florida makes it a felony all right but that's what this detective got the store that was over $750 what yes but that's why this detective wants to talk to you about pett stupid $750 Travis tells the officers that they're ready to go to jail while their friends aren't being arrested unfortunately their car is going to be towed the car will also go through the procedure for forfeiture because of all this the officer has to drive an angry Travis to jail all right step out how long St how long this it takes as long as it takes step into the door go to the room on your left have a seat on the bench the room on your left have a seat on the bench do you not know your left from your right you seem like you have a hard time following those type of directions no I'm kind of L have a seat turn the phone off do not send any text message do not make any phone in a few Travis was charged with retail theft for more than $2500 in stolen merchandise hopefully Travis learned a lesson and won't go around stealing any more beauty products on the 27th of September 2023 Florida officers got a call regarding a couple who were called shoplifting the suspects tried to flee the scene but officers quickly caught up to them and they were in for quite the shot what are this Duo thought they could get away but instead they were caught and charged with resisting arrest and theft hopefully the officers found the man's key to his girlfriend's heart but there's no
