You're going to arrest me, right? >> Why? >> Better. No. You set. You set. >> WHERE DID I GO? >> In a relationship, there's nothing wrong with a bit of healthy jealousy. >> Right now, you're going to be placed under arrest for domestic violence. >> He attacked me. I'm trying. He punched me in the stomach and clawed my face. He held me against my will and would not allow me to leave the room. I was screaming for help. You can ask the neighbor. It's natural for women to feel uncomfortable with their partners getting too close with other women. >> I'm tired of blaming. I'm tired of this. I'm tired of this facial blaming. I'm tired of speaking. >> However, when they become obsessive, sometimes cops have to rescue boyfriends from possessive girlfriends. >> I said this is racism. I don't see anybody else going back >> OR WE WILL PUT YOU IN THERE. WE ARE NOT HAVING A I MEAN DOESN'T MAKE ANY DIFFERENCE. I CAN WALK MYSELF. >> On July 4th, 2024, police officers in Ohio responded to an apartment complex following reports that a domestic dispute led to a stabbing. When officers arrived on the scene, they heard someone screaming from inside the apartment building and quickly took action. [Music] WALK DOWN HERE WITH NOTHING IN YOUR hand [Music] with nothing in your HAND with nothing in your hand. GET OVER IT. BACK UP. >> GET OVER IT. >> BACK UP. STOP. >> STOP. COME TOWARDS ME NOW. COME TOWARDS ME NOW. >> COME TOWARDS ME. NOW, >> it may have been true that the woman, the girlfriend's sister, wasn't involved in the altercation, but at that point, the officers had no idea yet who their primary suspect was. They needed her to comply as they began their investigation. But unfortunately, cooperating was the last thing on her mind. >> Don't touch. YEAH, I'M NOT THE stop now. >> I DON'T CARE. >> WHY ARE YOU TOUCHING ME? I'M TELLING YOU. I'M THE WILD CARD. >> Put your hand behind your back. YOU'RE BEING DETAINED. >> WHY? >> Because we don't know what's going on. >> Causing a problem. STOP. >> THAT'S FINE. >> I'm asking you to put your hand behind my back NOW. I NEED TO GRAB OFF THE GROUND. >> THAT'S GREAT. RELAX. >> The woman needed to understand that the officers had no way of confirming who the caller was just yet. People lie and the officers needed to take precautions to ensure the safety of everyone inside. Furthermore, she wasn't being singled out. The victim's girlfriend received the same treatment. >> Put your hand behind your back. >> I'm pregnant. >> Okay. I'm pregnant. >> We just don't know what >> I'm pregnant. So please >> yours being detained what's going on. All right, >> that's fine. I bleeding. Ain't nothing wrong with them ladies and nothing. I got a video of THEM STANDING IN FRONT OF THE DOOR HOLDING ME AGAINST HERE TALKING ABOUT my phone. Listen. I don't know what she did with the knife. >> Settle down. >> Settle down. Now we're going to figure out what happened. I'm telling you what happened. I got a video to prove what happened. All right. >> I'm the one that I'm on the phone with him right now. right now. >> WE CAN'T HELP. WE CAN'T HELP BECAUSE WE can't hear the radio. >> While an officer removed the man from the scene to treat his injuries, other officers attempted to question the sister to understand what led to the violent altercation. But questioning her was like pulling teeth. >> I got the problem. I'M THE ONE WHO CALLED AND TRYING TO STOP IT. >> OKAY. WE'RE TRYING TO SEPARATE parties right now. What's going on? >> THIS IS MY HOUSE. WHAT DO YOU MEAN? >> WELL, we're going to put you in >> for what? >> We're trying to figure that out. WE'RE TRYING TO FIGURE OUT JUST WHAT HAPPENED. >> OKAY. WELL, WE can't any of it cuz you're just yelling. >> For what? >> For what? I'm not THE I'M THE ONE THAT CALLS. I'M THE ONE WHO CALL. >> OKAY, THE OTHER GIRLS IN CUFFS RIGHT NOW, TOO. HE'S GETTING PICKED UP BY A SQUAD RIGHT NOW. >> OKAY, BUT HE'S NOT IN CUFF. >> STAND UP. >> AND HE'S THE PROBLEM. >> STAND UP. >> The woman continued to ignore the officer's orders to stand up, sticking to her story that she was the victim, even though the boyfriend was walking around with defensive knife wounds. Their goal was to get her into a squad car for further questioning, but that was easier said than done. >> I said, "This is racism. I don't see anybody else in the back of the cop car." WELL, WE WILL PUT YOU IN THERE. WE ARE NOT HAVING >> YELLING AT ME. IT DOESN'T MAKE ANY DIFFERENCE. I CAN WALK MYSELF. DON'T TOUCH ME. >> THEN GET YOUR ASS. GET YOUR ASS. >> DON'T TOUCH ME. I CAN GET MYSELF UP. >> DO IT. >> DON'T YELL AT DON'T YELL AT ME. I CAN GET ON MYSELF. >> Don't touch me. >> Get up and walk. We can do that. She's trying to >> I got her leg. >> Why not? >> No. Move it. >> Don't touch. >> You're not. >> Well, just rip her off. >> Pin the feet down. PIN THEM DOWN. >> Don't bite me. >> Oh, now you're getting a muff. >> You got a feet. There's one to go by. >> Yeah, I got a pee. >> Get a spit hood. >> Talk about a case of actions meeting consequences. All she had to do was follow the officers to their cruiser and everything could have been avoided. But due to her actions, she was now face down on the concrete about to be restrained from head to toe. >> YOU'RE MAKING THIS WORSE FOR YOURSELF. QUIT DOING IT. >> I'm not. [Music] >> GET OFF THE >> WE'RE NOT GOING ANYWHERE. GET OUT OF >> All you have to do IS STOP FIGHTING. >> GET OUT OF THERE. >> GRABBING ME. >> GET OUT OF THERE. >> STOP FIGHTING. >> Stop fighting. Watch your hands. >> GET OFF. >> ALL RIGHT. ROLL her over on her. >> Get off me. >> Relatively minor. >> Get off me. >> Stop. All you got to do is relax and we're going to relax. Okay. >> While the suspect was located into the back of a squad car, the boyfriend was being treated in an ambulance down the street. Officers had questioned him regarding the events of the day, and thankfully he was more cooperative. Basically, they're arguing over stuff on the phone. Um, she was mad at him about phone, phone that, phone, phone that argument. She grabs a knife. She's swinging it around at him. She's standing in front of the door, not letting him leave. >> She's holding the knife here. Standing in front of the door. >> Why you put a seat belt in a little bit? >> Hello. >> Hello. >> You're not answering my question. >> Because the law says I have to put a seat belt on you. >> But I'm not going anywhere. >> You do? You're under You're under arrest for DOMESTIC VIOLENCE. >> FOR WHAT? I'M NOT THE ONE WHO DID ANYTHING. >> WELL, >> right now you're under arrest for DOMESTIC VIOLENCE. >> FOR WHAT? >> FOR DOMESTIC VIOLENCE. >> I DIDN'T EVEN DO ANYTHING. >> While the woman was transported to the police station, the officers learned that the boyfriend had video evidence of her brandishing a knife before attacking him. And after collecting a statement, they sent him on his way. >> Kind of staying here with your girlfriend or sister. >> Yeah. You guys, you got the children in common? Yeah, we she pregnant right now. We'll get into her last night. I ain't even come back last night. I caught her on the phone and told her like, "Can I talk to you?" We sat outside for like 30 40 minutes talking. She told me to come upstairs. We got into her about who we texting. So, we said switch phones. So, I gave her my phone. She gave me her phone. But I guess I was getting too close or something cuz she went crazy about my phone. Give me my phone. So, I gave her my phone. Gave her back her phone >> and I took my phone. What happened last day? >> Um, so just talk to humor. It sounds like BVA also standing in front of the door. >> Go ahead. >> I'm going to upload all of that. >> Okay, good. >> Um, did you see that? >> No, not yet. >> He took a small snippet of [Music] >> maybe even restraint. Maybe >> the sister miracle. You know, do we know where she's at? >> Jail. >> Okay, I have a phone. >> The suspect was charged with assault, obstructing official business, and resisting arrest. She later posted a $5,000 bond, although she initially pleaded not guilty to assault. She later amended her plea to no contest, while the other charges were dropped. She was sentenced to 60 days in jail and was ordered to pay $62.36 in fines and court costs. On July 25th, 2024, police officers responded to a parking garage following reports that a woman was abusing her boyfriend. According to witnesses, the woman was hitting her boyfriend over the head with a bottle before attempting to run him over with her vehicle. When officers arrived on the scene, they encountered the victim who was clearly shaken up. >> She's calling, so I can't. >> She's with my partner. Can you grab the juvenile trouble, please? >> I don't know, sir. >> Yeah, she's up there with officers on the bicycle. >> Get out of here. Although the man had been attacked by his girlfriend and had parts of the altercation captured on video, he was attempting to downplay her actions to keep her out of trouble. To get to the bottom of things, the officer interviewed a woman who had witnessed the altercation. >> Screaming, telling her to stop, stop. Stop. >> When you say hit him, how? >> With the car. She was about to run. >> So, she's following him. Okay. >> She was literally following him. Okay. >> And he went to he he was looking like he needed help. And I just kept stopping to make sure he was okay because I didn't want to be I didn't want nothing to happen. And all I saw was him recording telling her to stop. She got out the car, went in the back seat. I don't know what she went to go grab. I passed her when I seen her in the back seat. >> And then that's when I left and I got to the fourth floor. All I see is him trying to leave, trying to escape and she kept calling him at the car and then that was the last thing I seen until I got to the fourth floor and I parked. That's when I seen her. She almost ran me over getting out the car. >> Were you on foot or in your car? When she >> I was on foot when I got out. I was already on foot. I had parked my car and I was getting out the car and right when I got to the um rear like the back of my car, Yep. >> that's when I she came onto the fourth floor, started speeding through and went to the roof. >> With a witness willing to testify that she saw the woman attempting to run over her boyfriend and the man possessing clear footage of this girlfriend hitting him over the head with a glass bottle, things weren't looking good for the suspect. However, when the officers confronted her with the evidence, she attempted to portray herself as a victim. Come here. I'm tired of this. I'm tired of I'm tired of speaking. You cannot come in. Relax. Relax. RELAX. >> STOP IT. STOP IT. STOP IT. STOP IT. Stop it. You need to come out. You need to come outside. You need to come outside and tell me your side. You got to tell me. No. No. You need to tell me outside. Okay. Let me have Let me have a car. Let me have Listen. Listen. Listen, listen. I understand. I understand. I UNDERSTAND. I understand. I just want to talk to you and get I want to get your side. >> No, because you was doing the same. >> Listen, I'm biased. I'm unbiased. I'm unbiased. >> The woman claimed that her boyfriend was the primary abuser in the relationship and that her explosive reaction in the parking garage was the result of months of mental and physical abuse from him. However, she refused to cooperate or even answer even the most basic questions. cuz I'm tired of it. LIKE THIS MAN, I HAVE PHOTOS OF HIM ABUSING ME. >> OKAY, I need you to come out. Come out the car. >> LISTEN, LISTEN TO ME. Listen to me. I understand you're going through a lot right now. And it's probably a very, very stressful day. But you're going to get yourself in more trouble than what you need to if you don't get out the CAR AND MY CAR. >> IT'S either you get out the car or I have to remove you from the vehicle. And I don't want to do that. >> I don't want to do that. Okay. >> NO, CUZ I'M TIRED OF THIS. I'M SO SORRY. YOU ABUSED me and then texted me horrible. I'VE BEEN ABUSED AND I'VE BEEN TEXT BY A RANDOM MET LAST NIGHT. I'M TIRED. I'M TIRED. >> What happened today? What happened today? >> I don't CARE WHAT HAPPENED TODAY. >> WHAT HAPPENED TODAY, THOUGH? >> The woman showed the officer images of what she claimed were the result of prior physical abuse. She claimed that her boyfriend had been cheating on her, which resulted in her losing her temper and physically attacking him in the parking garage. Still, that didn't give her the right to resort to physical violence. >> Can I have my ID back? >> No, cuz you can't because you are under arrest. >> No. >> Yeah, I have to arrest you. >> For what? >> Because he's claiming a battery. So, I have to put you in. >> No. Like, let me call him first. >> I will. I'll let you talk. Can I call him? I have to do this. Okay. You want to leave all your jewelry in the car for you. >> Bro, can you not press battery on me, please? Like, they're arresting me, dude. >> He's going to hold the phone for you while we put you in. >> They're arresting me. Can you tell him not to press charges? >> He's saying he's not pressing charges. >> Give him the phone, >> bro. THEY'RE TELLING ME HE'S NOT pressing charges. >> Arresting me because of you, bro. I hate you. You have noticed my recipe. He's not going to be listening. >> And it's and and and it's a it's a domestic situation. >> No, like I have TO GO TO WORK. I DON'T KNOW MY WIFE'S phone number. >> We We'll set that up for you. Okay. >> Unfortunately for her, it didn't matter if her boyfriend didn't want to press charges. Given the sheer amount of evidence proving that she had attacked her boyfriend, the officers were obligated to press charges on behalf of the state. >> Relax. >> I NEED TO GO ON. I NEED A >> Listen to me. Listen. I do not want you to get any other charges. [Applause] Stop it. STOP. [Applause] STOP. STOP. STOP. STOP. STOP. STOP. STOP. STOP. Stop it. >> Stop it. Stop it. Stop. Stop. Stop. STOP. [Applause] STOP. >> I'm so TIRED OF THIS. >> I'M SO TIRED OF THIS. >> It was beginning to look like the officers were dealing with a spoiled toddler rather than an adult. If she were innocent, as she claimed, her best course of action was to cooperate and present her case in court. Because whether she liked it or not, she was headed to jail for domestic violence. No, I want to talk. >> Please, just let me [Music] [Applause] >> I'm going to explain it to you, okay? But I need you to calm down. Thank you. >> Stop. Stop it. Stop it. STOP IT. >> STOP IT. Stop it. >> Do that. Stop it. >> Don't do that. Don't do that. >> Okay. We're not going to DO THAT. >> STOP IT. Stop it. STOP IT. >> STOP IT. STOP. COLLECT. COLLECT. COLLECT. ALEXA, >> the suspect was experiencing what looked like a mental break. At that point, the officers were extremely concerned for her safety and as a result, more units were called in to assist in restraining her. >> Ain't going to work. >> There you went to 38. What you're doing is causing injuries. And that now when we see injuries, we don't know if you caused them. >> Now, we don't know if you bang your head or how you got those injuries. So, stop banging your head so you could stop injuring yourself. The officers decided that putting her in the back of a police car unsupervised was too risky as she continued to attempt self harm. As a result, they radioed for an ambulance to come to the scene to transport her to the hospital for treatment. [Music] The woman was charged with aggravated battery, assault, and resisting arrest. If you thought she was loud and obnoxious, wait until you get a load of our next suspect. On May 20th, 2024, police officers were dispatched to a residence for the second time in one day following reports of domestic abuse. After the couple called it quits, the officers left. However, they were called back to the scene after the female subject's behavior became violent. >> What happened today? When you get back, when you got back to me every time I would just slept. I can show you my clogggin. I've been at work. I've been drinking all night since I don't know what the to >> You were at your friend's house, right? Away from this problem. But you came back. >> No, I didn't. I gave him a wrong address. I told her to lie to me. I called my family like, "Hey, cuz she's at work. I can't go nowhere. I have nobody here." So, I told her, "Hey, I don't want to go to those." They literally told me, "If you don't leave right now, you're going to go to jail." >> The woman told the officers that her boyfriend's mother had called the police on her, not wanting his girlfriend to go to jail. Her boyfriend told her to hide in the bushes at the side of the house. The officers wanted to know what had happened after they left the first time. But the suspect was dodging the question. It's not so much about you coming back here. It's about what happened. Why? Why did someone feel the need to call the police for us to show up? >> Not from the start. >> No, not not from the start. Not >> I can't listen matter right now. >> Listen, it's not from three calls ago. It's not about you addressing one call. >> Listen, I'm talking now. It's not about what happened earlier today. It's about what happened 15 minutes ago when you showed back up from when you were at your friend's house. When you got back here, what happened not earlier today, tonight. 15 minutes ago. What happened tonight when you came through the gates tonight as he was in the back behind the barricade? Now, please start and tell us what happened. >> See, don't know anything because the officers that were here before, they saw that he was lying and instead of arresting me, they took me away >> again. >> Okay, from the start because you guys are police officers, >> if you guys are police officer, you guys are here to the public, right? >> We already know what happened earlier. The officer who was here earlier that took you to your other location is here and he filled us in already. >> So what are you going to do to me? >> So now we want to know what happened when you got back. >> You said he was beating you up. That's all I got, >> right? You said that >> he was. >> Extracting the truth from the woman was difficult. She played the victim, claiming her boyfriend had been abusing her. However, on the other side of the house, her boyfriend and his mother told the officers a completely different story. Okay. So, who was the veteran? >> She said he was grabbing her. She did it to get away. She was very It's different. >> What did she say? I was talking about earlier when she hit me. You know, >> she's lying, bro. She came out here. She came out here. You come to the back. If you come to the back and you see everything she was doing to me, bro. Like she can literally come to the back. She comes at me and attacks me and with her claws like she >> she just does that all the time and she screams when I go. They heard her yelling yelling from this from 15 minutes ago. Was >> this right here? This is from earlier. This what happened earlier? Okay. >> Tell Did you tell no? >> I can go inside. Let me talk to the police. >> Did they uh Did you tell the officers? earlier today. The first time they got called on here was because of her getting loud and I didn't even call the police the first time she did. >> Sure. >> She called the police for me. She was like, "Oh." Because I told her, "Next time you get up and you break my house or anything that she was breaking back there," she grabbed a pair of scissors. >> Can I intervene real quick? >> The man told the officers that his girlfriend had a warrant in Arizona for domestic abuse, prompting them to jump states and move in with his mother. He said that his girlfriend had been to court several times for domestic abuse. However, each time he testified in her defense, causing the charges to be dropped. >> Am I going to arrest you or not? Cuz if you're going to arrest me, put my handcuffs. >> Be honest with me. >> Yeah, you're going to be under arrest. >> So, you're going to arrest me, right? >> Yes. >> Why? >> Battery. No. You set. You set. >> What did I do? >> Do not >> Don't resist. I'm getting arrested. >> Do not resist. >> Why? Can you please ring your number? battery. We will do not resist. Okay. Just just do not resist. Okay. >> I have a nursing job and I have a nursing job. >> You're under arrest for domestic battery. >> Why? >> You're under arrest for domestic battery. >> When am I going to get out? >> You're going to go to a hearing tomorrow morning. >> Okay. Don't make this worse than it is. It's just >> It's just domestic battery. You go to a hearing. >> While she was placed in cuffs, the woman continued to feain innocence. Although her boyfriend thought he was doing her a favor by covering for her in the past, all he was doing was enabling her abusive behavior. It was a long shot, but maybe this arrest would finally serve as a wakeup call, >> bro. Come on, bro. Don't get me arrested, bro. I didn't do you. Please don't get me arrested, bro. I'mma lose my school. I'mma lose my job. Don't do this. Please don't do to me. >> Sorry about you. Need more light, man. >> Don't do this to me. I will literally sleep on the street. Don't do Don't take my phone. >> I'm not taking it. >> I'm calling my mom. Let me call my mom. >> Hold on. Hold on. We're going to call you wrist. Stop. Let the officer let the officer properly take. >> Please stop. You're going to hurt your wrist. >> The woman blamed her boyfriend for her arrest. However, she failed to understand that even if he didn't wish to press charges, she would still be arrested and charged by the state. At that point, the officers had no choice but to arrest her for domestic battery. [Music] [Music] Come on. Come on. Hobbit. You got a hobbit. Put her down. [Applause] >> Let me get hop. >> The woman went absolutely berserk. If she behaved like this in front of police officers, who knows how she treated her boyfriend behind closed doors. Handcuffs alone weren't going to be enough to get her in the back of a cruiser. So, the officers needed to take desperate measures. >> Back up, >> baby. Stop. >> Baby, something is going to happen. >> Do it to yourself. STOP. >> LISTEN TO ME. STOP. >> WE NEED A SECOND. >> Second unit. Bring a second. We call a fire department. >> The officers eventually got her to the cruiser, but getting her inside was a different story. Even though she had restraints around her wrists and ankles, she was still able to put up a serious fight. >> Why the [ __ ] holding the girl? Get the off. [Music] Relax. >> Get off me. >> Get off me. I want the camera. [Music] >> All right, I'll let you up. One, two, three. Sit up. >> Anybody injured? One, two, three. I'm not holding anything. >> Get off her back like that. >> You're holding my She's holding my thighs and my hoop. I can't move. >> I can't I can't move my leg. She's holding me too. >> I can't move. >> The woman was charged with domestic battery, disorderly conduct, and resisting arrest. And although her reasons for attacking her boyfriend remained unknown, the next suspect beat her boyfriend for one of the most absurd reasons imaginable. On November 3rd, 2023, police officers responded to a mobile home after a man called the police alleging that his girlfriend had bitten him, struck him with a guitar, and threw a rock at him after he refused to make love to her. >> What's up, man? What happened? >> I didn't want to happen. >> Where'd she go? >> She's inside. >> She did die. >> Jesus. >> Scratched you. >> Scratched me. Bit me. Hit me in my face. >> You need an ambulance, bro. >> Yeah. >> Where does it hurt? Arms, legs, >> everywhere. >> Six time syn does this all the time. >> Who is she to you? >> My ex-girlfriend. >> Ex-girlfriend. I've been saying now I keep coming back to >> Has this ever happened before? >> Yeah, I just barely got a case dismissed. >> Same thing. She was beating on you. >> Yeah. Whatever. >> Dispatch, mention something about a rock. So, she threatened you with a rock. >> Yeah, she she tried to break the window with the rock and one of my probably about 30 pound. >> This is your car? >> No, this is her dad's. >> You were in the driver's seat and she threw it through the window? >> Yeah. Is it still in here? >> Jesus, man. Okay, so she bit you, scratched you, threw a rock at you. >> Even try to grab my junk. You try to rip that. >> Beating on her boyfriend for not wanting to have sex with her was not only downright ridiculous, but highly illegal. While the officer stayed behind to hear the rest of the man's testimony, another officer attempted to speak to his girlfriend, Aurora. Sheriff's office. >> Well, we have medics on the way. What's going on? Hey, just come out here and talk to us. >> No, you should come in. I'm not going out. >> I can come in. >> All right, just sit right here. Yeah, I have contact with that 41 over here. What's going on? >> He's ashole. >> We have EMS. We're going to They're going to come check out your hand. What happened to your hand? >> I don't know. Heing hurt me. Heing punched me in the eye. >> Got BMS. Come check her out as well. It's clear. You have any light in here that I can turn on? >> Right here. This switch. All right. >> In the light, the officers noticed that Aurora had multiple injuries. Thankfully, EMS was on the scene to render first aid. In the meantime, the officers wanted to know how she got her injuries, including what went down before they arrived on the scene. >> So, what happened to your hand? >> You hit me. I was trying to defend myself. [ __ ] punched me in the eye. >> Was your hand in your eye the only place you're injured? >> I don't know. I hurt all over. >> Did you lose consciousness when he punched you? >> I don't know. >> How much have you had to drink today? I had just started drinking and he got pissed off and that's when he started hitting me. >> How did all this start? Aurora, >> ask him. >> I told I want to get your side though. >> Well, then go with it. >> Your demeanor changed really, really quick after getting that water. Trying to help everybody out and figure out what's going on. Okay? Cuz apparently this is not new to both of you. >> No, it isn't. >> Right. >> But he's the one that keeps on coming back. I don't go to him. He comes here. >> Why do you let him back? because I think he's going to change and he doesn't. Then he turns into even worse and look what he does to me. His cousin's coming right now and she'll tell you what heing says to me and everything everything he does to me. >> Aurora played the victim, shifting the blame onto her boyfriend, claiming that he had started the altercation. And given that she had a big black eye, her boyfriend was going to have some explaining to do as well. >> He came out here. I was sitting here, okay, >> and I was drinking and he got pissed off and heing started talking to me and then started hitting me. >> What did he get pissed off about? >> Because I was drinking. >> Nothing else. There's no other reason besides the drinking. Do you want to have Did he want to have intercourse tonight with you? Have you been drinking? >> No, she wanted to have I didn't want to have She said she was on her period and after that >> Are you guys married? No. >> She wanted She's on her period. So, >> do you know she's on her period? Like, have you seen her? >> Well, yeah. >> Use a tampon, use pads. >> She was Yeah, she was using pads and she told me that she was bleeding more than usual because I don't know >> heavy flow or whatever. >> Yeah. >> Okay. >> And she just started calling me a saying that just I'm worthless and she could get it anywhere else and blah blah blah. With both parties pointing fingers at each other, the officers informed Aurora that they had filed a warrant and were going to search her trailer to gather evidence. As a result, they needed her to evacuate the premises, but that proved to be easier said than done. >> If you pull me out of here, I will get a lawyer >> and sue your guys' ass and I'll get my parents over here. >> Call your lawyer right now and talk about what's going on. Call your lawyer right now. >> Ridiculous with you guys >> cuz we I I want you to know right now we are giving you optimal opportunity. >> I don't give a what you're trying. >> Let me get my parent over here. >> Aren't you an adult? >> For they can win this. Mom. >> Yeah. >> Mom. >> Yeah. >> Can you come to the trailer? Please come to the RV. I don't want these mother to arrest me. >> Listening to a grown woman call her mother to help get her out of trouble was embarrassing to say the least. The officers told her that she wasn't under arrest yet. However, if she refused to leave the trailer, she would be charged with obstruction. >> Well, Aurora, I'm telling you right now, you're going to be under arrest. Okay. >> For what? >> For domestic violence. >> No, he's the one that hit me. >> He did hit you. You're You're right. He did hit you. But I I need you to get up because you're going to be under arrest. >> I'm not going to get up. >> Okay. He loosened my teeth, made me a black eye, and you're going to arrest me. >> You know, I I would believe that, but the thing is, >> uh, you're hurting me. You are hurting me. No, I'm not. You're hurting me. >> Can you move your feet? >> Do you not see my my finger is bruised from where he hit me last time? >> Okay. Come on, Aurora. >> I'm not getting up. I need to go TO THE BATHROOM FIRST. STOP IT. MOM. MOM. MOM. >> Aurora could resist all she wanted. But in reality, the only thing she was doing was earning herself an additional charge for resisting arrest. Furthermore, if she needed to use the bathroom so badly, then her best bet was to cooperate. >> Mom, look at look at this. They want to arrest me. >> He's getting OUT OF THE CAR. GET OUT. GET OUT OF THE HOUSE. >> LISTEN to me. >> LET ME GO. YOU NEED TO PEE. >> I NEED TO PEE. >> I NEED TO PEE. >> I NEED TO GO TO THE BATHROOM. >> You need to go to the bathroom. I need to pee. >> Let me go to the bathroom. CALM DOWN. ARE you going to calm down by myself? >> We're going to let you go see if you would calm down. >> Calm down. >> Calm down. >> Calm down. >> Calm down. >> Even with your mom here, you're acting like this. >> NO, YOU'RE NOT DOING THAT. >> DO NOT YELL AT your mother. >> DO NOT. >> ALL RIGHT, MOM. MOM, come on. Let's go. Just let her go ask her. >> Let's go outside. Let's go outside. Disrespecting your mom. Go to the bathroom. >> I need to go to the bathroom. >> I need to go to the bathroom. >> I need to go to the bathroom. >> Am I period? You stupid. >> Aurora should have listened to her mother as she had far more sense than her. Although her mother decided to consult with the officers and attempted to persuade her daughter to cooperate. That was the last thing Aurora wanted to do. >> Take her out. Take her out. Get her out of here. Get her out of here. >> Watch your step. Get out of here. >> That's what I was trying to getting. kidding me? Stand up. >> Drag you a [ __ ] in. Just drag her. >> Are you going to sit up so we can put you in like an adult? E. >> All right. Roll on your side. You >> roll on your side. >> Relax. Okay. Can you sit up on your butt? >> No. you. >> All right. You know what? [Music] >> Get in there on your own. >> You know, >> stand up. >> I'm not going to. >> I need a tip. I already told you. >> I sure do. >> Back up. >> Back up. I got it. A grown woman should never be dragged through the dirt, picked up like a toddler, and placed in the back of a police cruiser. But unfortunately, she left the officers with no choice with Aurora secured in the back of the police cruiser. The last thing to do was transport her to the police station. [Music] Nothing left. >> My low here. Just >> walk us back. Aurora was charged with aggravated battery, criminal damage to property, interference with communications, aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, and resisting arrest. On August 22nd, 2022, police officers responded to a call regarding a couple involved in a domestic dispute. In a change of pace, the couple was cooperative. However, just as the officers were about to leave the premises, the man claimed his girlfriend Raven had just attacked him. >> Can you come over here so we can >> But you're trying to tell us what happened and we can't really hear you in the head >> with the broomstick. >> Why don't you walk through the whole thing? >> You walked through the door and then what? I just I don't want to go in the house, >> bro. So I went to the back. >> She's like, "You're not coming in the face." I stood there and she hit me >> in my head with the bones >> right here. She just hit me with it. You can see the the dust on the mob. He was just talking to me. It wasn't there. >> If the man was telling the truth, it was a ridiculous move on Raven's part. The officers had concluded their investigation and were pulling away from the property when the man approached them with the new accusation. So they had to investigate further. >> I'm just telling you that cuz I don't hit this saying you hear back there screaming >> and then you're like, "Hey, what's going >> Can you show him that wherever she hit you?" Let let him get a really good look at that. Okay. >> She is red. Show is probably red right there. >> She just hit me. >> So let me ask you this. What are you wanting to do? >> What What's your guys' relationship like? Actually, >> my child's mother. >> Okay. Well, that answers that question. I have a 2-year-old in the house and she's broke and miserable. >> Who else is in the house right now? There are some other adults in there. >> Our cousins. >> Were they out back when it happened? Were they in the house? >> They're in the house. >> Are they going to tell us something different? >> No. What are they going to say? I don't >> I don't know. That's what I'm asking. >> No pushing or anything. It's just >> I'm not the scream. >> Let's do a complete throw. Whacking your partner in the head with a broomstick is never acceptable. Acts like that could land you in jail regardless of your reason for doing so. Before the officers confronted Raven, they first had the man provide a sworn statement. >> What did you do as we left? >> Okay, we went back inside. >> Okay. >> And she was standing at the screen. >> Okay. >> Said I'm They said I can come back. She said you're not coming back in here. Said they said I can come back. She said, "I'll punch you in the face." She knew anymore. I said, "Punch me for." And she picked up the broom and she hit me with it. >> Yeah. What kind of What kind of broom was it? >> A mop. It's a red mop. >> Okay. Like a Swiffer like a >> uh that mop that you step on that bucket that comes with it and it spins. It's like that. >> Okay. >> All right. And where did did she strike you? Once, twice. >> Once. Right here. >> Okay. Now, we took a quick look. We don't really see any visible marks. How are you injured from it? >> No, I'm not injured. >> Okay. >> After recording the man's statement, the officers had everything they needed to confront Raven. In front of the house, they spoke to a mutual friend of the couple who was present during the altercation. >> What's going on? >> I just got a phone call. >> Yeah. >> From from um because I work at Whitley. So, I just got a phone call saying um that she's not answering phones. >> Right. So, what happened after he went inside the house? >> I have no I was with the kids. I I have honestly >> How did he get the dirt all over? >> I I was with the baby. I don't know. >> You didn't see what happened? >> I did not see. I was I was right there with the baby. >> Do you have your ID card? >> I do. >> I'm going see if she'll provide a statement. >> What's your name again? >> Raven. >> Raven. I need to speak with you. >> What do you want? I need to speak with you. >> What do you want? >> I need to talk to you and get your side of the story. >> I need to take a statement from you >> in regards to what happened. >> I already told you what happened. YOU DIDN'T WANT A STATEMENT BEFORE. NOW YOU WANT A STATEMENT. YOU WERE ABOUT to leave. So what do you want a statement for now? >> I want to know what happened on the back patio. >> Raven opened the door with a bad attitude. But that didn't deter the officers. Whether she liked it or not, they had questions that needed answering. And they weren't going anywhere until they got their answers. >> What happened on the back >> with the broom and the mop? You tell me. I don't know what you're saying. >> I want a statement about it. >> I don't know what you're talking about. >> You don't know about it. So, you're unwilling to provide a statement about >> All right. Have a good day. You're weird. >> So, at this point, I have determined a domestic battery did occur. And if you do not come out now and provide a statement, I will have to go based off the only information I have. >> And a lie, THEN DO IT. GO. Go ahead and make your lie UP. I JUST TOLD YOU I DON'T KNOW WHAT the talking about. So, if you're going to MAKE UP A WHOLE INVESTIGATION, >> if you if you're willing to provide a sword, I can listen to your side. If you do not wish, >> are you deaf? I don't know what you're talking about. That's my statement. >> Unfortunately for Raven, it was a weak statement that wouldn't hold up in court. Typically, when people are innocent, they're eager to give a sworn statement. But in Raven's case, she chose to do the opposite. >> You either let me through this door and I play. Fine. There will be a warrant for your arrest for domestic battery. >> Right. Right. >> Have a nice day. >> You too. You can go back inside. >> No, I'm going stand here. >> Okay, sounds good. >> So, I don't know what happened after that. Did you see anybody get hit? >> No, I didn't see anybody picked up a broom or anything. >> I didn't see any anything like that. >> So, like I said, we're we're getting ready. This is the way she's treating you guys. We're getting ready to leave. [Applause] >> It's just my brother and her baby. >> Your brother? >> Yeah. >> Can you get him for us? >> And then after this? >> Yeah, we're out. For a second time, the officers were prepared to leave the premises. As Raven had insisted that she would rather have a warrant issued in her name than speak to the officers, the officer's job was done. However, she suddenly had a change of heart. >> So, y'all don't let me press him dragging me across my floor. Right. >> Come over here and we'll discuss it. >> He just banged up. >> Come over here and discuss it. >> I already was standing here talking TO YOU AND NOBODY WANTED TO HEAR NOTHING I HAD TO SAY. You You don't want TO HEAR WHAT WE have to say either. You're not listening to us. >> I heard what you said. So, I'm not playing this game. >> You didn't You're not hearing what I'm saying. You're still not hearing what I'm saying. You're still yelling at me for no reason. >> I am going to yell because when I was talking to y'all, y'all act like you didn't understand what the saying to you. So, now obviously I got to scream so you can hear. >> Well, that doesn't help things, does it? >> Drag me across the floor. But y'all going to step in with that. >> Come over here and give us a statement for it and we'll talk about it. >> I already stood here and told y'all what happened to you giving me a statement back. It was a rude change of heart, but a change of heart nonetheless. Either way, she didn't seem to understand that as long as the officers could get a hold of her, they were going to be placing her under arrest for domestic battery. >> Why? When I called and I made a complaint about him doing something to me, you guys didn't do it. >> Why? Because >> I didn't him. THAT'S A LIE. AND I SAID HE HIT ME. >> STOP. STOP. STOP. >> Are you serious? You're I'm not doing anything. He's squeezing me. >> Don't pinch up. >> You're taking me to jail after he hit me. >> I am going to hurt you. Watch. Now I am going to hit you. Now I am. And now that I'm going to jail and my son is in a house. Take my phone, Jason. Don't touch my phone. My phone is IN THE GRASS. GO GET MY PHONE. >> CAR THERE. COME ON. give a am >> third car. >> I'm glad this is what the I'm doing. >> You're hurting my arm. Can you let me go a little bit? >> No, because you keep pulling. >> I'm pulling cuz you're twisting my body. How am I supposed to walk sideways? >> You're on camera and you're not walking sideways. You're >> I was Now you just Now you just fix your arm. Stop playing games. It's >> all on camera. >> Great. And I can feel what you're doing. So stop it. It was a sneaky move that the officers pulled, but it worked nonetheless. With their suspect in cuffs, the last thing to do was transport her to the police station for further processing. And although she cursed her boyfriend the whole way, she had no one to blame but herself for her predicament. >> Call my mother, please, and tell her I need to get bailed out. Thank you. >> Ridiculous. So, I can't press charges for getting beat up in my house. Our investigation has determined that you're the primary aggressor. >> How? If I'm calling the cops. >> Our investigation has determined that you're the primary. >> How? When I call the cop. >> Our investigation has determined he dragged me. I'm not allowed to be upset. >> I'm not allowed to be upset if I had dragged in my front and I have in front of my baby. >> ARE YOU CRAZY? NO. NOTHING. >> OKAY. If you have anything on you that is contraband when you get to the jail and they located, you can say what you want. I have nothing. Great. I don't care. Put me in the car. I can go. >> Patting you down outside. >> Yeah, man. Don't touch me. Pick up my thing off the floor, please. I will do that once you step in the car. >> All right. I'm gonna be buckling you in. >> Great. >> I'm going to make sure I press I'm going to uh sue this whatever police whatever y'all work for cuz I called for help and y'all are arresting me. I can be aggressive in my house after I got beat on. Y'all are crazy. It's good to know this is what the police station does. >> Okay. >> Raven was charged with battery and resisting arrest. >> On January 6th, 2022, police officers in Ohio were dispatched to an apartment complex after responding to a vague call about a conflict. When officers arrived on the scene, they encountered a distressed man who was bruised and battered. We were called for something with a tow truck driver with >> No, this is a different situation. >> Then we weren't called for this. >> People told me they called you guys, but I You weren't called for it. >> No. >> Okay. Okay. >> They had me come down and tell >> me my fiance got she's on the verge of a mental break. She has been. She's been harming herself and stuff, but today she got mad. Um, she tried she attacked me while holding our daughter in her hands. Uh, I mean, I'm all cut up. My glasses got ripped from my face. Just beating on me and wouldn't leave my daughter trying to take off with her. And I was afraid for my daughter. Here's my daughter. Um, actually, she did take off and she doesn't even have our daughter's car seat. >> So, she's not here right now. >> No, she when they said some of the guys said she was calling the cops that she did. If the man Caleb was telling the truth, then he and his daughter were in a dangerous situation. According to him, his fianceé Sarah, who had been experiencing a mental breakdown, had fled with their child in the car, minus proper clothing or a child seat. >> Afraid my daughter at this point, you know, she's she's not mentally stable. >> So, she knocked your glasses off. >> She threw my glasses off um through my phone as she was beating on me while holding her kid. When I managed to get a hold of my daughter, she continued to whail on me. And I don't think she meant it, but she she hit our daughter. I don't think she was definitely not intentional, but she did. >> Can I see your uh your marks on you? >> Yeah. Pull it off. >> Yeah. I didn't even know I had this one. I just pulled a lot of pain. >> How did you get that from her punching me repeatedly? >> Punching you? >> Yeah. I got this. Uh she bit me. If you can see the impression is kind of still there. Um, somebody said I had scratches on my face. >> Yeah. >> Yeah. I >> She broke her glasses. >> I'm pretty sure she took them and threw them. She threw my phone, but I managed to grab that before I walked out the door cuz it was right next to me. >> The officer documented Caleb's injuries. He needed to get in touch with Sarah. But since she didn't have a phone on her, Caleb didn't know where she was headed, it was going to be difficult. At the moment, the child's safety was the officer's main concern. I'm praying she tried to go to her mother's, but the gas light's been on for like a day and a half. So, I don't know how far she's going to get. She doesn't even have the car seat for >> Well, she doesn't have a phone either. >> No. Um, the only thing I can do right now is to see if she's anywhere with Wi-Fi that's connected >> to what? Does she have her phone? >> She has two phones. One phone that the service don't work that she uses for Wi-Fi only. It's a better phone. This is a Obama phone or whatever. >> Right. >> You need to call Joanne Dad. Let her know what's going on because Sarah is going to spin this like she does every time. >> This is going to be a good domestic uh break for a quick bolo. We're going to be looking for a silver van Henry boy union. >> According to Caleb, after the assault, Sarah got into her 2004 Kia van and fled the scene. With the clock ticking, the officer issued a bolo. be on the lookout warning advising all units in the area to be vigilant. And it wasn't long before Sarah was spotted. >> I copied your Q6. I'm not showing anything. >> Hey, you just step out of the car for me. >> Have to get the child over, too. >> This is my daughter. >> It's his daughter, too, right? >> I can't I don't have to give my child over to him. >> Right now, you're going to be placed under arrest for domestic violence. >> He attacked me. I'm trying. He punched me in the stomach and clawed my face. He repeatedly held me against my will. He would not allow me to leave the room. I was screaming for help. You can ask the neighbors. >> Okay, we're going to have to Can you give the child over, please? >> This is >> Please do it now. >> This is my daughter. >> I didn't do anything. >> Please do it now. >> All I did was defend myself. >> Okay. Please hand over the child right now. PLEASE. WHY IS >> now >> the officer wasn't playing games. If Sarah didn't want to make matters worse for herself and her child, she needed to follow the officer's orders and hand over her child. It was an unfortunate situation, but she had no one to blame but herself. >> I'm Get OFF OF ME. I'M HANDING OVER THE GODDAMN BABY. AM I NOT ALLOWED TO STEP OVER? >> Just >> then let me move. I CAN'T HOW AM I SUPPOSED TO HAND OVER MY >> JUST HAND OVER THE CHILD? >> I CAN'T DO THAT IF YOU WON'T LET ME. >> OKAY. OKAY. The way you were walking, you look at >> I'M ALLOWED TO BE ANGRY. This is do anything wrong. I'm sorry, baby. I'm sorry. He's doing this. >> I'm sorry. >> Turn around and change my back. >> I didn't do anything. >> I didn't do anything but defend myself and my daughter. The neighbors in this place. I didn't do anything. >> He punched me in the stomach and I'm pregnant. It >> I didn't do anything. Caleb, this is all you. >> Sarah blamed everyone but herself for her predicament. She didn't seem to understand that the best way to retain custody of her child was to remain compliant and cooperative. And after she was placed in the back of a cruiser, she went totally berserk. Why are you believing him over me? >> Honestly, I don't get a choice in this because he lies. I'm just going off the marks that were on his body. >> What? >> Going off the marks that were on his body. >> I can't hear anything. You're saying the neighbors can say the neighbors in the place saw it. That's my proof right there. I was defending myself >> and my unborn child and my child that I WAS HOLDING WHILE HE WAS ATTACKING ME. Whether she knew she was on camera is unknown, but her violent outbursts were just making her look more guilty. The officers needed to transport her to the police station for processing, but following protocol, they needed a female officer to search her first. >> Yeah. >> Have you step out so I can search your request? >> Anything on you is going to stick me, poke me? I don't know. This is me with my jacket. >> Whose jacket is it? >> Nobody's letting me Nobody's letting me stop and I'm instantly being arrested and nobody's giving me chance because they're believing it's ruing them up like that. I can't wear them like that. >> I need you to calm down. >> I CANNOT CALM DOWN. I CAN'T. MY DAUGHTER'S BEING TAKEN FROM ME AND I BEING ARRESTED FOR I DIDN'T DO I >> GET SAY SHE'S PREGNANT. >> While Sarah continued to lie on the ground kicking and screaming, the officer completed her search. Seeing that she was pregnant and experiencing a mental breakdown, the officers arranged for an ambulance to pick her up before taking her to the station. Let me go. >> I CAN'T I can't >> We can move them to the front if you'll be compliant. >> If you're not going to hit anybody, I'll move to the front. I'm >> not kidding. The the left or the right one? >> Mainly the left one cuz the nerve damage in my wrist. >> Put your hands up like this. >> Uh tried to take off from us. >> In the ambulance, Sarah was able to calm down enough to speak with paramedics. at the hospital. She told the staff that Caleb had assaulted her first, resulting in her hitting him several times. You >> okay? >> Yeah. >> All right. What happened? >> Beth was uh done with her. We were trying to get her back in the car. She refused. She sat on the seat with her feet, refused to move back. I'm like, "Come on, you're pregnant. We We don't want this to go that direction." Took off running, grabbed her. She went to the ground. >> Despite her claims, Sarah was medically cleared and transported to the county jail without further incident. In the end, she was charged with domestic violence. On January 16th, 2023, police officers in Arizona responded to a residence after operators overheard a heated argument in Spanish between a man and a woman. When officers arrived on the scene, they encountered a woman who was reluctant to cooperate or provide clear information regarding the incident, prompting the officers to push further. >> Hi, what's going on? >> Nothing. We're good. I'm getting my kids ready for school. They're going to be late, so I got to get them ready first. >> Well, what was going on, though? >> Nothing's going on. Actually, it's kind of a private property, so you guys just came in. I'm getting my kids ready for school. >> Somebody called 911 here. There's yelling and screaming. >> Um, we're getting our kids ready for school. They're We're literally getting ready for school. They're going to be late and I'm I'm in underwear. So, >> you know, >> um the kids my kids go to daycare. >> Okay. >> Yeah. Demon story, but I'm getting them ready. They're actually >> Okay. So, who So, who's all in the house right now? >> Um actually, this is the pirate property I just told you. >> Okay. So, who are you? >> Right. And we're investigating a crime. So, who are you here? >> The woman was behaving suspiciously. Typically, when police officers confront a suspect who had done nothing wrong, they provide as much information as required to clear their name. However, in this case, it was evident that the suspect, Samantha, had something to hide. >> Who are you? >> Um, you need to stop. >> STEP OUT OF THE HOUSE. >> STEP OUT OF THE HOUSE. >> MY KIDS ARE RIGHT HERE. I'm not doing anything. >> STEP OUT OF THE HOUSE NOW. >> STEP OUT OF THE HOUSE NOW. >> Stop touching me. Look, I'm right here. WHY IS HE TOUCHING ME? >> Stop touching. >> WE ARE INVESTIGATING A DOMESTIC VIOLENCE. THEN TALK TO US AND LET US KNOW WHO ELSE IS IN THE HOUSE. >> ME AND THE KIDS AND MY HUSBAND. LEAVE ME ALONE. STOP TOUCHING ME. >> Here's the situation. >> I told you behind the wall. WE CAN'T SEE YOUR UNDERWEAR. >> OKAY. So then you >> turn around. PUT YOUR HANDS BEHIND YOUR >> NO. STOP. LEAVE ME ALONE. I'M PREGNANT. WHY ARE YOU TOUCHING ME? >> LOOK WHAT YOU DOING TO ME. >> If she didn't want to be manhandled by the officer, all she had to do was place her hands behind her back and allow him to cuff her. The only thing her resistance was doing was making the officers more suspicious. What >> I'm going to do? >> WHAT'S GOING ON? >> OKAY, I WILL TALK TO YOU IF YOU LEAVE ME ALONE. JUST STOP BEING AGGRESSIVE on me. >> You have signs of injury on YOUR FACE. >> THAT'S FINE. A 911 CALL. >> OKAY, SO OBVIOUSLY THERE'S NO >> OKAY, MY KIDS ARE WATCHING. PLEASE STOP >> BECAUSE YOU WERE DOING SOMETHING IN THE HOUSE. >> NO, I WASN'T. I WAS GETTING MY KIDS READY FOR SCHOOL. I >> WHAT'S GOING ON? OKAY, LEAVE ME ALONE. I WILL TALK TO YOU. >> Let's have a seat. >> I don't want to BE BY MY KIDS. IF YOU'RE GOING TO BE best holding me, >> stop. What's going on? >> Okay, kick me off. I'm not doing anything. You're coming into my house. >> You end up in the back of my car >> and I'm You're being aggressive to me, sir. >> 911 call. >> I'm not doing anything to you. I'M NOT BEING AGGRESSIVE. I'M NOT TOUCHING YOU. And then >> YOU HAVE SCRATCHES ON YOUR FACE. You don't know FROM WHEN WHAT YOU'RE ASKING me to. >> Step out here. Somebody called 911 from here. There was a discussion over. Give me some papers. Give me this. Give me that. So, what is going on? You have a scratch on your face. This is not from today though, sir. >> We literally just got a call. >> Yes, I understand you guys got a call, but this is not from today though. I'm not sure who. It's early in the morning. I just woke up. >> I don't know who called. I'm not watching my neighbor, sir. >> While Samantha argued with the officer, a man emerged from the house and was questioned by the officer's partner. He claimed she hit him several times before grabbing a butcher's knife and slashing the tires and breaking the windows of his vehicle. After that, the officers listened to Samantha's side of the story. >> We woke up and I I told him since yesterday I was going to let him use her, but he he doesn't put a ride for her. So, I told him this morning, I need my papers before you leave because I'm going to file taxes. And he refused and he was getting me and checking me. And so, I had to get him down to the couch because that was the only way to get out from him. And I'm scratching. I told him, "If you don't stop, I'm going to call the cops." >> Okay? >> And then we came outside and he was trying to leave. And I told him, "You're not leaving." And that's when I got the knife and did that. And I told him, >> "He's saying that you do this constantly. You take advantage of him because he's illegal. He doesn't have standing in this country." And you threaten him. He's the one that dialed 911. I just confirmed he dialed 911. He's fed up with his situation. >> I am. >> You So then maybe it's time to say goodbye because what you're doing is using him. How are you? >> No, I'm going to be tired. >> Hold up. Let me stop you right there. You don't really know what's going on. You don't live here. You don't live here. You don't know what's going on. You don't sleep with him. You don't deal with him. >> The man told the officer that he pays rent and provides for their children, including a child of hers from another marriage. He said that due to his poor English skills and status as an illegal alien in the United States. She takes all of his money and bullies him around knowing that he won't call the police for help. >> So, here's what's going to happen. I I don't know what happened physically between you. I don't know if he started it or you start it, but clearly something happened. He has a mark under his eye. Then you have the scratch on your face. Yeah. >> Okay. I don't know who started that. The issue I'm running to now is you're damaging his truck. What was the purpose of that? You know what I'm saying? >> Yeah. No. >> So, I am going to arrest you for domestic violence, criminal damage, and disorderly conduct. Um, make it as quick as I can so you can get back here. So, here's what's going to happen. Again, I'm taking you into custody. You need to go see a judge today in reference to the the criminal damage of his vehicle. There there's no option. The state says I have to do it. >> Yeah. This is This is a have to >> I have I'm a mother to my kids. I can't. >> Okay. So then we call DCS. >> No, that's not option. I have >> Then what's the other option? >> I'm not sure, sir. I don't know. >> I'm waiting on you to see what >> That's the only option. Unless you have a family member or friend. Unless you want him to to to stay here with the kids. >> No. >> Okay, then we have to call DCS. >> No. Why can't he go? Why? This is a problem here. >> I've explained to you why. Because you were the one getting arrested right now. This is my house. These are my kids. I I provide here. This is where I live. >> There was no way she was going to talk her way out of this one. The officer had given her two choices. Either call someone to look after the children or CPS would look after them while she was away. And eventually she contacted her mother to look after her children. And with that, Samantha was transported to the county jail. Samantha. >> Yes. >> Can I get your phone? >> It's not an option. I'm not doing a photo. >> You have to. >> I'm not. >> I'm not. No, I don't want my picture on there. >> Wait for me again. I WILL >> CHARGING YOU WITH A FELONY. PERSISTENCE. >> STOP. I'M NOT DOING YOU. LEAVE ME ALONE. NO. >> TAKE A PICTURE. >> LEAVE ME ALONE. YOU HAVE THE RIGHT TO TOUCH ME. STOP TOUCHING ME. I'M HURTING YOU. LEAVE ME ALONE. >> STOP. >> LEAVE ME ALONE. I'M BREAKING HERE. NO. STOP. YOU'RE HURTING ME. >> I'M NOT EVEN DOING ANYTHING. >> LEAVE ME ALONE. YOU DON'T HAVE THE RIGHT TO TOUCH ME. >> YES, I DO. YOU DON'T. THAT DOESN'T GIVE YOU RIGHT TO TOUCH ME. Look at the camera and pinch me and squeeze me. How rude of me. >> Don't pull away from me. >> OKAY. WELL, STOP TOUCHING ME. NO, I'M NOT. >> LOOK AT THE CAMERA AND GET YOUR PICTURE. >> WHY ARE YOU TOUCHING ME AND BRUISING ME? >> From the moment the officers first encountered her. She had acted as if she was in charge and in a position to dictate how things were going to unfold. She could resist all she wanted, but eventually the officers would get her mug shot. Don't pull away. >> LEAVE ME ALONE. YOU'RE HURTING ME. WHAT? STOP. YOU'RE hurting me. >> Can you grab her property? >> IT'S JUST LEAVE ME ALONE. YOU'RE HURTING ME. THIS HURTS. >> This is not okay for you to be doing this TO ME. STOP. YOU'RE HURTING ME. >> I'M DOING ANYTHING. >> YES, YOU ARE. >> I'M NOT DOING ANYTHING. >> YOU'RE PATCHING ME. LEAVE ME ALONE. >> [ __ ] >> OH GOD. NOW THAT I'M SAYING SOMETHING, >> LEAVE ME ALONE. STOP TOUCHING ME. YOU'RE HURTING ME, SIR. YOU'RE HURTING ME. >> I'M NOT DOING ANYTHING. >> YOU'RE HURTING ME. AND YOU'RE STILL SAYING YOU'RE NOT HURTING ME. YOU ARE. >> Samantha was charged with criminal damage and disorderly conduct in an attempt to keep their boyfriends under control. Some women become possessive and borderline obsessive. And when that happens, we see what happens when cops rescue boyfriends from possessive girlfriends.
