I got my go. >> Chrissy, help me. Call my dad. Call my district authority father. I can't breathe. >> Chrissy, I can't breathe. >> And guess what? I'mma beat the case cuz I'm not trespassing. Ladies and gentlemen, unfortunately, we're going to have to clean everybody. [Music] >> Most travelers know the airport isn't a place to cause a scene. But not these people. Whether it's drunken brawls, trying to skip security, or sneaking onto a plane, these outrageous airport arrests left these people grounded. Quite literally. Get the out of my face. This is >> my airport, bro. >> Get the out of my face. >> Please keep walking. >> Book a flight to go that way. >> Get out of my face. >> You want to go to jail. >> On May 3rd, 2024, police were called out to Orlando International Airport following reports of an unruly passenger. According to airline staff, a young male suspect refused to leave the aircraft when the crew tried to kick him off over his erratic and aggressive behavior. >> Is he fighting or no? >> No, he tried to fight me when I was trying to Is this him? >> That's him. He's being very unruly. >> Can you just step off? >> Is that him? Who is he? >> Come on, man. >> I need to get my stuff. >> Yeah, we'll get you stuff in a minute. I I need to get my stuff. >> Let's talk about it real quick. >> Yeah, I need I need to get my stuff. >> I get that. Let's talk about it and maybe you can still fly. >> Talk about what? >> I'm just trying to I don't want to wait another 5 hours in >> I get it. But we got to talk about it, bro. >> No, you're just I know your police tactics. I deal with police before. I've been arrested. I >> Cool. That's cool. >> You're just I don't want to arrest you right now. You still got to get off the plane, though. >> Arrest me for what? What? >> Trespassing on the plane. Despite being arrested before, he still refused to comply with the officer's orders to deboard the plane. It's the kind of bratty behavior you'd expect from a young child and an attitude that could land him right back in jail. Some people never learn from their mistakes. >> You already know what time it is, bro. Unball your fist. >> That's not a crime. That's not a >> You're right. >> But it is a threat. That's it. They're getting your stuff now. >> Why? >> They're shoes, bro. >> Right now. I just asked you to get off. We could get that stuff nicely. You're not doing it. So, I'm not playing nice anymore. That's all you got to do. >> I'm not playing, brother. >> That's cool. Right now, they don't want you on the plane. That's it. >> I can't move it on. Oh, now you want to get off. [Music] >> According to the flight crew, he had been traveling with only a pair of boots and no other luggage. But that assertion enraged the already I rate man who claimed he had other belongings left on the plane. >> Look, you got your weapon. >> Oh, I have my luggage. >> Where's your luggage at? >> I don't know, man. >> Did you check it in? Yes, I did. >> Okay, it'll be at your destination. >> Is it on the plane or did you >> You guys are lucky you guys have weapons. >> Walk on up. >> Hold on. Hold on. Hold on. Hold on. Hold on. Hold on. Let's get air side. All you got to do is walk up. Let the aircraft >> without weapon. That's isolating. You guys did the up. I was guaranteed. >> Even though the officer had chosen to give him a second chance, he just couldn't help hurling abuse at the cops, digging himself an even deeper hole with every insult. By then, the officers had clearly had enough of his childish outbursts. >> You guys areies, bro. You guys need >> What? >> I said keep walking. >> What are you going to do? >> You're lucky you need a disorderly. >> Just walk towards the gate. Shut the up, bro. >> All right, sir. Just chill. >> Shut the l It's a freedom. I I can say whatever the I want. >> I ain't saying no. >> You're a weapon. Take off the badges. Let's go somewhere right now. Me and you. Punk Asian. >> Well, that's rather racist, sir. There's no need for that. at Disney doesn't have anything to do with >> some hair. At least I got a half decent haircut, my friend. >> Had he just listened from the beginning, he might have made it to his destination. Instead, he marched through the airport, giving travelers a show before they'd even reached the in-flight entertainment. >> That way, bro. >> Right here, dog. I don't sit. >> You want to sit here? >> Where's my Where's my Where's my >> Give my Give him route out. >> That's the way out right there. The train. Right. >> Where? To get out of the airport right now. >> You're not going to the flight right now. You understand that, right? >> I'm not going. >> That way is your way out. >> That way new flight. They said >> your flight's not coming, sir. You've been You've been You've been denied boarding. Even after all that, he thought he could still board the flight. It seems it wasn't just his anger issues at play, but also his delusion and entitlement. It's like he felt the airline owed him for acting the way he did. >> You're bro, you know that you're all right. See, you need a weapon, but without all that [ __ ] bro, you ain't nothing but a >> Okay, sir. >> Keep walking, sir. You guys get off my turkey. You guys are on my >> I'm not on your nuts, sir. Please keep walking. >> Why you pushing me? >> Why you pushing me? >> Please keep walking. >> Why you pushing me? >> Leave my hands off me. >> My hands not on you. Keep walking. >> Is Is your body cam on? Absolutely. >> You're touching me. >> It's okay. >> No, you can't. >> Keep walking, sir. >> You can't touch me. You don't have a right to touch me. >> Keep walking, sir. >> Touch me again. >> Keep walking, sir. >> Touch me again. Exactly. Because you know you can't touch me. >> Keep walking, sir. >> Get the out of my face and I will. >> Sir, you're back. Get away from me. Get away from me. Hands down. >> Get the away from me. >> Exit. He needs an exit. >> Exit, bro. >> Walk. >> It's almost like the man wanted to be arrested. He'd been given every opportunity to walk away. A free man, but no, he just wouldn't put his ego aside. Red in the face, he continued on his tirade of abuse and teenage level bratty back chat. >> Don't yell in my face. >> All you got to do is walk. >> You're going to hit me? Hit me, tough guy. I don't need to hit you. >> Hit me, tough guy. >> I don't need to hit you. >> Exactly. >> Walk that way. >> I will when you back up. >> I don't need to back up. My job >> then I don't need to walk. >> Please leave. >> Please leave. >> Your exit's right there. >> You're not hard, bro. >> Not hard. Get the out of my face. >> It's my airport, bro. >> Get the out of my face. >> Please keep walking. >> Book a flight. You go that way. >> Get out of my face. You want to go to jail here? >> Where's the air sign? >> Get out of my face. >> It's ironic he told the officers to get out of his face when all they'd been trying to do was make him leave and get out of theirs. The situation had escalated rapidly and by that point the officers were done. He'd been given one too many chances. Don't pull your fist up. Pull your fist up. I feel that. Heard that. >> You're not pulling your fist up. >> Anywhere you got that. >> Which way you going? Which way you want to go? >> Get this arm over here. >> Get your hand down. >> I got hands behind your back. >> Yes, sir. >> Do it now. >> Yes, sir. >> I got one. >> I got one. All right. Ready? >> He went from you're not hard to yes sir real quick. And any hope he had of going home had just gone out the window. He should have just made things easier for himself and left the airport when he was first asked. Sit up. >> I told you not to blow your fist up. >> Anything in socks? >> No. No. >> Anything socks? >> No. >> You sure? Let me see. >> They're on the waist. >> Anything in this sock here? No. >> Are you sure, sir? >> Yes, sir. >> Let me double check. >> Yes. Nothing in your shoes. on the way. >> When this officer was talking to you, you had your right hip fus baldled up. That's what you go to jail for. >> Once he was detained, the arresting officer spoke with airport staff to understand what had happened on the plane before the police arrived. It turns out he had acted threateningly toward another passenger. And when the staff tried to intervene, he turned his aggression on them. So apparently inside the aircraft he was um I guess somebody sitting next to him or something and he didn't want it um him that close. So he started going like like he was doing when you guys got here. So then >> hitting his fist into his open palm like this very threadful and then he said I got to go to the bathroom and he came from his seat all the way to the first class bathroom went in there and that's when I I arrived to the scene. He appeared to be regretful of his actions and even apologized to the officers, but it was too late for that. It shouldn't have taken being arrested before realizing that his behavior was totally unacceptable. >> I'm sorry about that. Honestly, >> I don't know. >> Yeah, we don't even know. How is this military withd [Music] >> He was charged with disorderly conduct, assault on a law enforcement officer, and resisting arrest. On June 29th, 2024, police were dispatched to Orlando International Airport over reports of an intoxicated man. Once they arrived, officers quickly discovered the suspect was a dad named Brian, who had left his partner and two young children at the gate. >> Hello. >> I'm looking for my son and his dad. the dad got he got put out the plane because they said that he needed medical attention like he wasn't really you know maybe intoxicated or something >> he has not connected like he doesn't have his other phone he has a phone that's not connected it only works on Wi-Fi he is not connected to Wi-Fi like >> so you connect all >> yeah for over >> so where did you see them last >> um we were coming from the terminal over here from southwest >> okay >> so the last time I seen him right before we got on the train Police searched the area and eventually found Brian sitting outside on a bench. Despite clearly being inebriated, he appeared calm. my man. You good? You all right? >> Yeah. >> Let's see some lights. Let's see some lights. >> Come on. Let's see. Drink a little bit. >> A little bit. Drinking. >> Just tired. Brian claimed that he was just tired, but it was very clear to the officers that he had been drinking. How stupid did he think they were? Even so, the officer remained calm and was very concerned about his well-being out in the hot summer Floridaian sun. >> Let our let our fire guys just look at you real quick and make sure you're okay as far. You know what I'm saying? >> And then um that's all. >> I just It's hot out. You know what I mean? >> You guys see that? Where' y'all where y'all fly in from? >> Well, we just had to see that family live there. We live there. >> No, let them just look at him real quick. I just wanted him to look at him real quick and see if he was okay. >> The fire department looked over Brian, but he stubbornly refused any medical attention. Moments later, airport staff came out and told him he needed to leave the premises immediately. A request he did not take well. >> Why you still here? >> Hey, listen. You need to leave. You need to leave. >> I would leave. >> Okay, now let's go. Ain't nobody else on the sidewalk. >> Listen, you're going to leave right now or you going to jail? >> Now, now is the time to leave, Brian. Now is the time to leave. >> Okay, let's go. Let's go. Let's go. This is your last warning, Brian. >> I don't want to take you to jail. >> I do not want to take you to jail, Brian. If you do not leave, >> you're going to go to jail. >> Stop. >> This is your last warning. started this >> Ryan. >> I want to do >> I know the most >> start moving. >> You know that I watch these kids. >> Stop moving. Brian, >> move out of the way. >> Who watch these kids every day? >> Brian seemed to suggest that he watches the children every day, but by the way he behaved, he wasn't exactly acting like a responsible parent or setting a very good example in front of them. If anything, in that moment, he was the one acting like a child. >> Now's the time, man. I really don't want to take any jail. >> I've been to go. >> Okay, let's go. You're talking. You're not moving. Let's go. >> I've told you like 15 times. Let's go, man. >> This is my first time talking to you, so you need to talk. Hey. Hey. >> Do something. >> You just go. Let's go. >> You just push your hands off. >> Let's go. Let's go, man. Let's go. >> You just push your hands off me. >> Did I touch him? >> Did I touch him? >> Let's go. Let's go. >> Be honest. Did I touch him? >> Let's go. Let's go. Let's go, man. Let's go. Let's go. Let's go. >> I asked you to leave the property. Let's go. >> I was leaving. I picked my up. I was going to pick my bag up. >> I need you to leave. >> He pushed my hand. >> Every reasonable person knows it's probably best to just listen to the police and leave when asked. But not Brian. He appeared intent on causing a scene that day, ultimately only making things worse for himself. And all while his children stood by and watched. Ryan, let's go, man. >> Let's go. I don't even want to take you to jail. Let's go. >> Don't call him my name. Don't call him my name. >> Let's go. Let's go. >> You need to talk to him over here. >> Let's go, man. Let's go. Let's go. >> Let's go, man. Let's go. [Music] >> Let's go. >> Let go. Let go. Let's go. Go. [Music] >> It can't be easy for the cops to have to arrest a father in front of his young, scared children. But what's worse is using your child as a human shield. The officers had given him enough chances, but he didn't take them. >> You can't touch me again. >> Mom, you ain't got to do all this, bro. You ain't got to do all this. >> Hey, bro. Stop, bro. Get your knee on my face. >> I ain't even do, man. Oh my god. >> I'm trying to pick my bag up. You see the Get your knee off me. I can't breathe. I can't breathe. I can't breathe. In the state of Florida, resisting arrest can land an offender in jail or on probation for at least one year. Resisting arrest with the use of violence has more extreme consequences and can result in up to 5 years in prison. In most cases, offenders will also be forced to pay a fine. >> Hey, hold up, hold up, hold up, hold up, hold up, >> hold up, bro. my wrist, bro. >> I can't fight. You going to break my wrist. You going to break my wrist, bro. >> I can't move. You going to break my You going to break my >> Brian's refusal to walk straight had ultimately forced the officers to use physical force to get him into the police car. It's interesting just how far the situation had escalated from the calm, measured conversation that had begun on the bench outside of the airport. >> You bring my kids are right there. I had him walking. That's not right. >> No. Move. >> Can you stop pushing me? Can you stop pushing me? >> Don't put your hands on me. Don't put your hands on me. >> Where you at? Like seriously, that's not right. This is not right. My kids right there doing this. You mad because he cussed you out to pick my bag up. Push me again. >> So you going to lock him up? >> He pushed me again. I didn't get a serious charge. What's the charge? You going to lock him up because you didn't like what he said to you? >> You locked him up because you didn't like to charge. >> It's unclear what she thought she'd gained from interfering. The damage was already done. She could say nothing to reverse that. The officer's reaction said it all. He was clearly tired, frustrated, and done playing games. >> All you have to do is listen. >> I was listening. I was trying to get my bag. >> But you're arguing. >> I was not talking to him from the getgo. >> I wasn't talking to him from the get-go. I was trying to get my bag. My bag still right there. slam me down. >> My [ __ ] damn near broke, man. Godifying. >> Oh god. >> This is a lawsuit. >> Put your feet in there. >> Put your feet in there. Put your feet in there. Florida, man. >> Hey, stop. You ain't got a door out there, bro. >> Brian was charged with trespassing in an occupied structure. In Florida, this is classed as a firstdegree misdemeanor and can land an offender in jail for up to a year. On June 20th, 2023, a bizarre incident occurred at Tampa International Airport when a man claiming to be a pilot attempted to board a plane without passing through security. He insisted he had been flying for 15 years, but his refusal to hand over any identification raised some suspicions. >> I don't want to be bothered anymore. >> Okay, sir. Listen, I don't work for TSA, >> but please escort me out. >> Let's go. >> So, >> I'm happy to go. I've been screened >> off the airside. No, >> I can't let you go through until you give them the ID. >> I showed my ID already. >> I already showed my ID. >> So, but that's what they're asking for. So, that's the only way you're going to get through. I'm trying to help you >> again. Again, he and I got to keep >> So, then listen. Here's what's going to happen. >> Then you're going to be escorted off the airside. Okay. So, you can't flax. Okay. >> He said he's good with going off the airside. >> It's okay. I'm gonna I'm gonna talk to my company. I'm going to talk to >> I'm going to file a report. This is harassment and I do not want it. I know better and you guys are going too far. >> Okay, >> it's safe to say that every passenger would definitely want the pilot flying their plane to go through all the security procedures. When a pilot starts showing a sense of entitlement and an unwillingness to follow basic rules, that's not just unprofessional, it's alarming. >> It's so offensive. >> But all you had to do, all you had to do is show your ID and you would have been there. Now they let me fly the plane. All you had to do was show your ID and you would have been there. >> Okay. Listen. Listen. If you are a pilot, then you know that KCM is not going to be here anymore also >> cuz the pilot union is not going to pay for it anymore. So, you're going to have to do that all the time anyway. >> Okay. >> Okay. >> Want to be broke over and over. I don't want to be radiated by that machine. It's just so offensive. I've had 20 days. I've sold 15,000 miles. I've gone around the planet. I've been to Ireland. I've been to Seattle. I've been to Texas. I've been to Dallas. I went through training for 5 days. >> Pilots are typically required to show their passports and go through security checks when they fly. So, if this man had been flying for 15 years, as he claimed, you'd have thought he'd already be well aware of the procedure. >> This is the TSA manager for this side. If you want to talk to him, you originally asked. This is him. This is your piloting question. Okay. >> Did what airline? >> I don't want to get into it. I presented my information. I don't care what you don't want to get into, but you're coming in disrupting the screening process and you don't want to get >> disrupting me. >> I'm doing my job the way I'm supposed to do it. I'm trying to go >> and they're doing theirs the way they're supposed to do it, but you're hindering it from happening. >> And I was one of those troops, but that doesn't give me the right to come in here and act good. I did what they wanted me to do. They screamed me. >> They wrote me multiple times. >> It's too much. >> It's an offense. >> He repeatedly refused to name the airline he worked for. If that isn't a red flag, then I don't know what is. His lack of transparency was only going to rouse more suspicion among the already dubious officers. What what I'm trying to explain to you is is the guys that are here don't make the rules, but they got rules to follow just like you as a pilot have rules to follow. Okay? >> So, but that's just that's what I'm trying to explain to you. So, you get No, listen. You get mad at these guys and I listen, I understand your frustration, but you get mad at these guys who don't make the rules. Just like us as police officers, we don't make the laws. We don't necessarily agree with all the law, but we're the ones that are here on the ground level. Got to enforce them. So sometimes you got to play by the rules. >> I'm not sure that you understand how much leeway they actually have. >> He was escorted out of the airport. But that wasn't the end of it. Around an hour later, he made the foolish decision to return. Having changed out of his pilot uniform and into everyday clothes, he probably thought he would go unnoticed. But the officers weren't fooled. >> I've been in there for 15 minutes. Call for Mr. >> Okay. >> I've been in I've been in there for 15 minutes. >> This coming right now. So you But he's asking your ID. So >> So >> where's your ID? >> I changed out. >> All right. Put your hands on the back. >> No, you caused this. You caused this. >> You wanted to talk to me. >> You caused this. Okay. He claimed his ID was in his car and tried to explain the bizarre situation as the head of the TSA and cops stood by baffled. His story was not making sense. It was obvious he was hiding something, making the whole encounter even more infuriating for everyone involved. >> Here's the situation. Here's the situation from the beginning. >> I'm a I'm a commercial. >> I'm a commercial airline pilot. This is my base. >> Lately, every time I go through KCM, they randomly >> I was running behind for my flight and I thought it'd be just quicker to go straight through. So, I didn't produce my KCM. I produced my crew ID badge and and my passport. That got me through. >> The arresting officer called the station to explain the reason why the so-called pilot had been detained. At that point, it was clear that he was fed up with the man's entitled behavior. All right, Corporal. He changed his clothes. He came over here with no ID. He's talking to the manager that he originally tried to talk to over on uh Alpha when he was just being arrogant. I guess he realized, oh crap, the gig is up. So, he basically refused to give me ID. I told him, "Hey, look," I said, "Uh, you committed a crime over there." So, he's in handcuffs right now, and if he needs to go to jail for some security violation, then he's going to go to jail for a security violation. But I'm going to figure out who he is. >> The self-proclaimed pilot told the officers he doesn't like removing his shoes as he's scared he might catch an infection from the airport floor. However, it was a requirement for all passengers when going through security, pilots included. >> But when I come down here, I'm like, "Oh my god, don't they know me by now? They probably have a record." >> And that's what's happened. And I'm sorry for for the humiliation. I'm pride humiliated. So it really can't get any worse. But I do have pride in my job. And I am a pilot, a North Carolina pilot. And it's not easy. And I take it personally. I think I should. I should not. >> Now it's my turn. >> Let me put a couple of those holes in your story about your flight crew. When you come up, you don't take your shoes off. The only infection you should get be getting is that what's already in your shoe. That's the first thing. The next thing is it's not too much I can do. If you can't comply to what we have, then how do you expect us to respect you? >> At this point, he still hadn't produced an ID despite being asked multiple times by both the head of the TSA and several police officers. Refusing to comply with an officer's orders can lead to serious consequences, including fines and in some cases even jail time. >> Just pushes me to the point where I'm like, "This is so offensive. I don't feel like it's fair. I just don't feel like it's fair." Um, I want to make the flight. I've been on duty 20 days. I fly for the I fly for a contractor, flies the military. I've been to Ireland. I've been to Seattle. I went through five days of training, three three of ground school, two SM. I've been to Seattle. I've been to Dallas, Boston, LA, Ontario. I've been up all night. I've got one more day and I just want to go back. I'm on call right now. I'm on call right now. I just wanted to be there. I'm trying to preserve what I've built up and I don't want to lose my job. I didn't want TSA to call my boss. He's got enough problems. It's not me. and they wanted to see who I work for and all that jazz. I don't want to call my boss. You're not part of the problem is you want everything every step of the way your way. That's not a reality. Something like this. Not I don't want to go to CSA and you put the hand in handcuffs in the front. That's not a reality. >> Surely one quick call to his boss would have set the record straight. He eventually agreed to leave the airport. He faced charges for resisting and disorderly conduct. The alleged pilot was also banned from the airport for an entire year. On November 2nd, 2024, police responded to reports of a suspected intoxicated passenger. According to witnesses, she had tried forcing open the jet bridge doors that led to the airfield. She then made rambling announcements over the airport's intercom. >> Are you traveling by yourself? >> Yeah, we're honestly. >> I don't know what that means. >> Are you traveling with anybody? Put your phone down. >> Nope, I'm not putting my phone down. >> Okay, you're under arrest. >> No. >> Oh my god. Stop. >> You're under arrest. >> Stop it. >> Put your bag down. >> Nope. Stop. No. >> Put your phone down. Put your phone down. >> All right. They're trying to arrest me. >> They're trying to arrest me right now. >> The woman had been traveling with a dog named Honey, who appeared completely unaware of her owner's crazy airport antics. Luckily, she hadn't acted aggressively toward the officer when he approached. >> I'm telling you, >> I'm not I'm not doing anything. I'm not resisting. >> Yes, you are. >> Okay. What have you done >> exactly? >> Ma'am, you're under arrest >> for what? >> Public intoxication. >> Respond. And you dog is trying to bite off pal and he's trying to take her in custody resistance. >> So silly. >> Her dog seemed to think it was all just a game. As the officer moved in to put handcuffs on the woman, the pup sniffed at his hand and wagged her tail. The animal behaved better than her owner. >> So silly. Good girl, honey. >> What did you just put on me? What did you just put on me? >> What did you just put on me? >> I got you. I got this one. Honey, >> y'all are so in the world. >> This is so stupid. >> Hey, come. I know you hear me. >> Hey, >> you have custody. Please pick up the phone so I can ask you what's going on. >> There you go. >> For her safety. >> This is so crazy. >> She'd managed to video call her sister right before the arrest. Talking from the other end of the line, she was urging the officer to pick up the phone and speak to her. Whatever she thought she could say to explain or even justify her sister's actions that day was unclear. Hunter Hunt. >> Can you hang up the phone? >> No. No, you're not hanging up that phone. That's my sister. You're not hanging up that phone. No, >> you look like a little >> You're not hanging up that phone. That's my sister. >> How you What the hell? like this is so crazy. >> The dog no longer seemed to think the whole thing was a game as she had begun to growl at the officers. They appeared wary of the pup's sudden shift in demeanor. Probably worrying that she could lash out at any moment in an attempt to protect her owner. >> Like seriously. >> Seriously. Where's your identification? [Music] >> Yeah, everything's there. [Music] Oh my god. >> Hunt. Hey, don't you touch her. Don't touch her. >> She ain't going to She's not going to jail with you. So, >> if she bites you, >> I'm not going to jail. >> You sure are, ma'am. >> For what? >> Because you're intoxicated and you're >> out here. >> Okay. Well, you're going to jail. >> Oh, wow. The handcuffs were a dead giveaway, but she still didn't seem to be getting it. Maybe it was the alcohol she had consumed, or maybe it was mere stupidity, but reality hadn't quite caught up with her yet. >> Under arrest. >> What am I under arrest for? >> Public intoxication. You were making page when I walked up here. >> You've been pulling on the jet bridge doors down doing it. So, >> wait, what? >> You're going to jail? >> Wait, hold on. Say it again. >> You're going to jail? >> No, before that. >> You're calling kitchen. You're going to jail >> for wait >> public intoxication, disorderly conduct. >> Oh, wow. >> And more than likely resisting arrest, >> man. Listen. Uh, listen. I know. Am I right? And I need to be able to contact my attorney right now. >> You're not contacting your attorney right now. >> Oh, I know. I have I know my rights. >> You do have rights. You are 100% correct. You do not have the right to contact them right at this moment. >> Yes, I do. No, you don't. >> In the US, the law around public intoxication varies by state, but it's typically classified as a simple misdemeanor. The punishment can range from a fine of a few hundred to a few thousand. It's also punishable by a maximum of 30 days in jail. >> Just have a seat in the chair. >> Take a seat in the chair. vehicle. >> No. Stop. >> There you go. >> Wow. >> Yeah. I'm trying to slip it off. >> I need >> Do I need to go tighter for you? >> No. >> I need you to take it off for a second so I can >> You're not doing anything. >> Yeah. This is so nuts. >> Well, you shouldn't drink too much and you should learn how to be an adult and control how much you drink. >> I'm not even trying to drive. I'm getting on a plane. >> While she sat restrained in handcuffs, the officer decided to find out more about her drunken antics. Clearly, it hadn't just been annoying, but disruptive enough for airport staff to resort to calling the police. >> What time was the DC flight? >> Um, that flight was supposed to >> Did I already leave? >> Yeah, it's gone. >> Yeah, that's my figure. He doesn't see anyone else down here, so I figure it was gone. She was the last person to board, but she just couldn't make her way down. And took her 10 minutes to try to do board advance, but she couldn't. >> So 10 minutes. >> What time is that flight? >> Uh, it was a 6:25 departure. >> Okay. >> The flight was departed at 6:25. She just didn't make it to the >> Apparently, she was standing here with the dog and they made multiple pages for her name and she wouldn't board the flight. They tried to manually board her. >> You have her paperwork in your bag. >> Yeah. Apparently, she couldn't produce a boarding pass and so they were trying to help her out and manually board her and then she said she was going to Ghana and they were like, "Yeah, you're not flying anymore." She didn't know where she was. So she was denied and started yanking on doors and making pages. >> Given her behavior up until that point, it's no wonder she had been denied boarding. If she thought she could get away with her exploits, she was sorely mistaken. These officers had enough of her nonsense and were not going to play along. >> Don't do that. Do not bring your cuffs around the front. >> I'm trying. >> Don't They're not supposed to be comfortable. >> Well, they're not going to be comfortable anyway. >> Correct. >> Um, yeah. Um, hey, Hunt. Hunt. Hey, >> good girl. >> Yeah, it's on the top. Take it. >> I'm not going to hurt you. I promise. >> She doesn't like stringers. >> She doesn't like stringers. >> That's fine. But I'm going to have to pay her. So, >> no, you're not. >> Wow. Okay. No. So, no. No. No. No. No. No. No. No. No. No. No. No. >> Y'all, I'm leaving for >> tomorrow at least. >> Maybe later. >> And you want you want the dog to be able to go with you, right? >> She is going with me. gas all over paperwork and everything. >> Then do your best to keep the dog calm. >> She's not. >> She can't go to jail with you. So, she's going to go with us. >> I'm not going to jail. >> You are going to jail. >> You are You are going to jail. We explained that to you. >> What? What? >> Hold on just a second and let me tell you something. >> I promise. >> You want the the dog has to go with us. >> Hey, >> I'm trying on your dog. >> Stop yelling. How many times did the officers have to tell her why she was going to jail before it finally sank in? Judging by her insistence that she had been flying to Africa and not DC, her actual destination, alcohol seemed more likely to blame. >> If I reach down there and grab it, is she going to bite me again? >> It's a yes or no question. >> Do you want to reach down and grab her leaf? >> If you don't want to grab it, then I'm going to put this on her and then I'm going to drag her out. So, I mean, it's >> so crazy. Do do you know how much like this is going to like screw up like my like my probation and stuff? >> Well, that's not good. >> It's very not good. >> Yep. >> It's very not good. >> Her complaints about the arrest messing up her probation told the officer everything he needed to know. She never clearly explained why she was on probation, just that she had been quote unquote set up. >> Becca, hold on. I didn't tell you to come through yet. >> Have you been exposed to CO the last 14 days? >> What's CO? >> If you don't know, you're good. >> Any chance you're pregnant? >> I feel like it. >> All right. Can you step on this black mat for me, please? >> The unidentified woman faced charges of public intoxication, disorderly conduct, and resisting arrest. She was reunited with her dog the following morning. On September 19th, 2023, police were called out to Orlando International Airport following reports of an intoxicated man causing a disturbance. The man, later identified as Ben, was denied boarding after allegedly pushing a member of staff. He was so drunk he thought the airport floor was a good place to take a nap. >> Hey, boss. Hey boss, you all right? Hey buddy, wake up. >> Wake up. Come back to us. You okay? >> You okay? >> Oh, wake up. Hey, there. >> Hey, how you doing? >> Hey, please. >> Police. How you doing? >> Oh, yeah. Hey. >> Hey. No, thank you. If passing out face down on the airport floor wasn't enough to give away how drunk he was, the way he then stumbled to his feet certainly confirmed it. >> You're good. >> All right, pick up your stuff. >> Grab your bag. >> Grab it. >> Sorry, I'm just waking up. >> Yeah, I see that. >> Here, get your uh charger. >> Get your wires. >> Yeah, I'm getting it. >> We got to get >> Yeah. I'm sorry. I'm just waking up. >> All right, cool. >> Can you tell my wife? >> She's over here. Who's over there? >> Hey, Chris. What's this? >> Over here. Over here. >> Is that No, wrong person. >> No, she's over here. >> Yeah, I know. That's what I'm looking at. >> That's a guy. She's over here. >> Yeah, I know. That's what I'm looking at. >> Ben couldn't even recognize his own wife, mistaking her for several strangers. That's a whole new level of drunk. In Florida, public intoxication can be punishable by a fine and in some cases even jail time. >> Come on, Chrissy. Stand up. >> Stand up, ma'am. Come on. >> You okay, baby? [Music] >> You okay? >> We just got to walk. >> Nothing to be scared about. We just got to walk. >> Hey, come on. >> We just got to walk. >> Do you want to carry that phone? >> You seem a lot more sober. Come on. We just got to walk. >> Tell my dad. That's all we got to do. Can I just release a beverage? >> No, don't be. It's going to be okay. It's some [ __ ] It's okay. >> His wife was clearly upset by the whole ordeal and probably a little embarrassed. Although she had been drinking, too. She appeared to be handling it far better than her entitled husband. >> You're not in any trouble. You're just so inebriated to the point where you guys were passed out and they just want you off that flight. >> I can totally smell the alcohol on you. I haven't been drinking alcohol. >> Walk out to the trams. >> Just keep on walking. That's all you got to do, sir. You rebook for tomorrow. >> Hey, I have been drinking alcohol. >> I can spell it on you, sir. Please keep going. >> Well, that's your >> You know who my father is, right? >> My your father is not a concern to me, sir. And you're a grown adult, so let's just keep on walking to the trams. >> No, but I'm I'm just letting you know that like >> you still haven't let me know. It still doesn't matter. >> Let's just keep on going to the tram, sir. >> No, but >> you just told your wife not to say a word. You can do the same. Go to the trams. >> I came out the bathroom and uh the officer was waiting for me to talk to me about you. >> Talk to talk to you about me. >> Which one? >> Point them out to me. Is it him? >> No. >> Is it him? >> No. >> Who is it? >> Not telling you. Chrissy refused to tell Ben which officer had spoken to her. She probably knew it would push him further over the edge. He was already making a scene and she wasn't about to add fuel to the fire. >> Did somebody do something with you outside? >> No, they just made sure I was okay when I came out of the restaurant. >> But like these guys, they didn't hurt your feelings. >> I respect that they're respectful of me. Hey, >> you've been >> shake your hand. >> You don't state my saying. What? You too good for me. >> You're too good for me. >> If you want, >> huh? >> Focus on a transport. >> Yeah, I see that. But this mother thinks you're too good for me. >> I don't want to shake your head. >> Just get on the tram. >> Once off the tram, the officers attempted to escort the clearly inebriated couple out of the airport. But judging by Ben's insulent behavior up until that point, it's not surprising that it didn't go smoothly. >> Here you go, sir. >> Stop it, sir. You can keep on going. >> And you will if you do what you say, >> sir. Keep walking. >> Keep keep walking, sir. You guys are about to get in an argument. I don't want you guys to get in argument. No, I'm just needs to be. >> Don't grab it. >> Don't you don't grab it. >> I will. [Music] >> Grab his left arm. >> Hold on. >> I got I got this right. >> Okay. >> Ben had already pushed his luck, and laying hands on an officer was a step too far. All he had to do was walk a few more steps out of the exit and he and Chrissy could have come back the next day to catch their flight. >> Dude, don't listen to them. >> Dude, you threaten the cops, man. >> No, I told you you're a piece of >> What did you want to do? Back up. >> Back up. Do it now. Back up. >> They're not on our side. Chissy, >> back up. Do it now. >> Chissy, they're not on our side. >> Give me this. >> Good. Cuz they're not on our side. >> You hear that, Chrissy? I can't breathe. >> There you go. >> I can't breathe. >> There you go. >> Hey, grab his arm. >> I can't breathe. >> Push his arm down. >> I can't breathe. >> Back up. Do it now. >> I can't breathe. >> You won't get sprayed. Back up. >> I can't breathe. >> Can we get a car? I can't breathe. >> Heart problem. >> And uh one more. >> I can't breathe. >> Hey Ben, you need to relax. >> No, you don't understand. I can't breathe. >> Do you need medical attention? >> Yes, you stupid. >> I can't breathe. I have heart failure. You piece of >> Ben told the officer he had heart failure, a condition where the heart cannot pump enough blood to circulate around the body properly. People with heart failure are generally told not to drink alcohol as it can exasperate the condition. >> Relax. Catch your breath. Okay. Relax. Catch your breath. Stop. Stop moving around. >> Chissy, help me. Call my dad. Call my district authority father. >> I can't breathe. >> Take her over there. >> Chissy, I can't breathe. [Music] My bad. Sit up in the seat. There you go. Sit all the way back. >> Pull him up. Pull him up. >> Get underneath his arms. >> Oh, you my wrist. >> Sit down, man. Sit down. >> You mothering me. Let's go. >> It's not clear whether he made up the claim that his father was a district attorney, but one thing is clear. No dad, DA, or not would be proud of their adult son acting with such entitlement and disregard for the law. >> I just need to relax. >> I am you. I'm riding. Oh my god. My dad's a >> Oh my god. >> Don't fall out of the chair. [Applause] >> You're never going to walk in this department again. You >> We're going to stand up here. We're going to search you and you're not going to fight us. You understand? >> Of course not. Hey, the only thing I'm going to fight you on is the abuse me one time. Stand up. >> Yeah, cuz the abuse you fed me on, you piece of >> All right, it's over. >> No, no, my dad's Glen Cortella. >> Okay, well, you can call your dad in a later time. Okay. >> Oh, you're goddamn right I am. >> Okay. >> You're going to be writing statistic on >> Ben was charged with disorderly conduct, resisting with violence, resisting without violence, and battery on a law enforcement officer. Whether his district attorney father ever came to his rescue remains unclear. So does the question of whether Ben finally grew up and took responsibility for his own actions. On January 16th, 2025, officers in Florida responded to reports about a rowdy, drunk passenger at the TSA checkpoint. Staff said he had already missed a flight the previous day and just 24 hours later he was back loud, angry, and intoxicated. >> Sir, do me a favor. >> Do me a favor. >> He's fine, right? >> Yeah. >> Okay. What a >> Oh dear. >> Okay. >> Plane was unfortunately delayed in milk. >> What? >> Delayed I think. I'm not too sure. >> Delayed. delayed. >> No, it's still flying out. >> No, a little bit delayed. >> You don't tell me that. >> No. But >> anyway, do me a favor just to relax. Okay. Were you here yesterday or not? >> Yeah, I was here. >> What happened? >> Playing with cancel. >> You going to be able to fly, you think? >> Yeah. The officer gave him a chance to explain what had caused him to miss his flight the day before. But he just stared blankly, as if he had no explanation. One thing was for certain, though. If he didn't sharpen up his act, he was going to miss that day's flight as well. >> Hey, we got kids here, okay? >> So, do we favor chill out? Do you understand that? We're in the studs. All the stuff. I mean, all this >> grab grab your stuff and go down there. But just to let you know, if you act out like that down there, they'll they'll refuse you to board and then we'll be back. So, try to stay calm if you want to get to your destination. >> Unfortunately, a little patience. >> I'm going to ask you one question. >> Okay. trying to >> take take it off. >> What? >> Take it off. >> You take what >> my uniform? >> No. Whatever you you asking, you know, people whatever. >> No, I'm listening because people were talking and making sure we're okay cuz we we told them that we might have an upset person. They don't want people to get sunk to cry. >> Do me a favor. >> To get back to New York. >> They don't want people like that. >> Listen to me. >> What? Sir, >> they don't like they don't like that, >> sir. Your stuff otherwise back on. >> His drunken ramblings were confusing to say the least. It's not clear what he had been trying to communicate to the officers, but whatever it was, it only reinforced what they already knew. that he was completely wasted. >> Let's go to Frontier. >> Frontier. >> I need to fly back to New York. >> Yes. And Frontier. >> My parents, they wait for me. >> Yes. Is that your Is that your luggage? >> Yes. >> Okay. Well, you you need you need clothes to put on >> you want to get >> for what? You get all >> to go to here. Okay. Right. >> What you want me to get? >> Let's get someone from Frontier to see if you want. >> Is that another bag yours? >> Yeah. >> Okay. Got to get all your bags. >> Luckily, the officer reminded the man to pick up his second lot of luggage from the airport security carousel. Losing it would have been one more problem added to an already chaotic day. And a day that was only about to get worse. >> Head on down. C9. >> I don't care. >> I'm voting for Trump. >> Let's go. >> I vote I voted for Trump. >> We don't care. >> I don't care. >> We don't care either. >> All the way down there. >> Go to your gate where your flight is. Drop your >> right to your gate. No, I said drop, right? >> We don't care for something. >> It's going to be 10:15 in a minute. He's on He's on your plane today. >> So, is he going to be able to fly or? >> No. If he going to be drunk, then >> yeah, >> you going to reboke him? >> Yeah. inside. >> I can. >> Okay. So, basically, >> this be his second time being rebooked. >> Was it yesterday here? >> Yeah, but he missed it by coming late. >> Okay. So, yesterday you missed it by coming late. >> Mhm. >> So, Mrs. Are you going to rebook him? >> Yeah, I can. But it will be a fee. >> We book them upstairs or downstairs? Want to do it upstairs or how do you want to do it? >> Okay. So, let's go get rebooked for tomorrow. >> No, right now. I need to get back right now. He had already missed two flights in two days, but he could be rebooked the following day for a small fee. He wasn't happy with the outcome and demanded that he be allowed to leave that day. So, yeah. What? Tell me. >> You going to get rebooked? >> They're going to rebook you for tomorrow. >> Rebooked for what? >> Cuz you're not flying out tonight. >> Oh, really? >> Really? >> Really? >> Yep. >> Okay. >> Okay. >> All right. >> Don't worry. Do whatever you want. It's all right. >> Where's my no trucks? My no trucks? Where? Where are they? In a bizarre twist, he asked airport staff where his nunchucks were. It's difficult to understand why he needed to fly with nunchucks or while wearing fingerless gloves and sunglasses for that matter. But his eccentric fashion choices weren't the police's concern. They were here to protect the public. >> Where are they? >> I price I practice with them. >> Only when >> Where are they? >> When they tell police. >> Huh? Huh? >> Where are they? >> You got it. >> Put them on there so I can handcuff them. >> I got >> Where are they? >> I got I got one. >> Put your hands behind your back. >> Hands behind your back. >> Stop resisting. >> Keep your hands behind your back. >> Stop resisting. >> Stop resisting. >> Keep your hands behind your back. >> Yeah, whatever. >> Stop resisting. He had resisted the moment the officers tried to place him in handcuffs. Not a very clever move, especially while surrounded by at least five armed cops. His defiance would do little more than seal his fate. >> Let's go. >> Thank you very much. Appreciate it. >> Oh my god. >> That's why. >> Take them down the hill. Well, I don't want to take him down the stairs. >> You guys indeed is such a >> Hey, do me a favor. Do me a favor. Listen. >> Oh, really? >> Tomorrow? Really? >> Tomorrow you could fly right now. I'm going to just take you to Cal. >> Oh my god. >> You still want to fly tomorrow? >> You know, you know what? What? Whatever you're doing >> is very wrong. >> Okay. >> Whatever you're doing is so wrong. >> I love that. >> Listen, we got Thank you. >> We got family. got kids here. >> By that point, it seemed he had calmed down slightly. Once the alcohol wore off, there was little doubt he'd be left with more than just a headache. His actions hadn't just embarrassed him, but also caused him to miss a second flight. >> This is so very wrong. >> Well, just because you should die. >> It's your attitude. It's your attitude, man. >> Oh my. >> Yeah, it's your attitude. See what happen when you got a bad attitude when you try to drink before you go on the flight. See what happened to you. >> Whatever. It's like all right. >> Got it. Got >> no. Oh my god. They're going to hurt me. Oh my god. >> Stop acting a fool. >> Oh, you might have hurting you. >> Oh my god. >> Stop being stupid. >> Oh, stop screaming. >> Oh my god. >> Acting like a kid, >> sir. You're intoxicating. He was charged with disorderly intoxication and resisting without violence. On July 10th, 2022 at Miami International Airport, an extremely selfish passenger caused an entire plane of people to miss their flight. All because she refused to get up from her seat and leave the aircraft when asked. Airline staff had noticed her trying to sneak onto the plane 45 minutes after it was ready to take off. >> Right now I have press charges for your trespassing. You went >> I'm not trespassing. I have just let you know right now the police officers. We're going to ask you to voluntarily walk out of the plane. If not now, we're going to ask everybody. We're going to ask for >> I understand. I understand. But you were not bored when we closed the door. You went through the door >> when there was no at that moment. At that moment, man. >> Let's talk to you outside. Let's come outside. If you don't get overbody out, >> okay, we'll get everybody. >> I'm like everybody else. After being denied access for showing up late, she took it upon herself to sneak onto the plane. She pushed past the flight attendants and jumped over passengers to get to her seat. The police were called right after she threatened she'd assault someone if they did not fly the plane. >> Let's go. Let's go to the jet. We can talk. >> What do you mean? Talk about going home like everybody else. >> I never did nothing. I paid for my ticket like everybody else. >> We need to talk to you. >> Let's go outside. >> No, I don't have to talk to y'all. >> Okay, I'm going to make it worse. >> Y'all can send me a paper in the mail. >> You okay? >> Y'all can literally send me something in the mail. What? Whatever. I pay for >> I pay for it like everybody else. >> It was later discovered that the woman had been arrested two years prior for a similar incident. She was charged with being disorderly inside a fast food restaurant and assaulting a member of staff. >> Guess what? I'mma beat the case cuz I'm not trespassing. Unfortunately, we're going to have to [Music] ask the lady on the flight. Can I say something to you? >> Can I say something? >> Would you listen to what I have to say? Will you listen? >> Will you listen what I have to say? >> Stand over here. >> Make sure you get your belongings and make sure you have your body pass and your hands while we come here. We will do this as soon as possible. All right, >> let's go. >> I apologize for the delay. I apologize for the >> All of the passengers were forced to deboard the plane. All because of one woman's selfish behavior. Even then, it didn't seem to register with her. She still continued to argue her case. Despite being so clearly in the wrong to deort, >> ma'am, don't instigate her, please. >> Guys, don't instigate her cuz then we got to deal with her. >> They never refused me. I was already on the >> refusing now. >> Now, after the fact. No, but that's after the fact. You can't do that after the fact. So, no. >> Everybody going We all going home late. now. >> Oh, well. >> No, I can't. I can't cuz they should have just took off. >> Let's go. Let's go. Let's do it fast. What you guys waiting for? Let's go. >> Okay, let's go. Let's move. >> My boarding pass is the same flight as everybody else. What do you mean? >> That's dumb as they just want to have an attitude cuz they're miserable. They're miserable with their life. There's nothing for you to say. What is there for you to say? Okay. >> Like I said, y'all want to make my life hard? Make everybody else life hard. >> I want to go home. I don't even live here. >> It's ironic that she acted like the victim in a situation entirely of her own making. Her stubborn actions caused every other passenger to miss the flight. A flight they had actually shown up on time to catch, unlike her. Yeah. Everybody getting off. >> You can go. >> Let's go. You going in front of me. And >> she going to go behind you. >> Going behind me. No. That's fine. Clearly. >> All right. Let's go. >> You're not going behind me, though. >> Ma'am, let's go. >> You can go and I will go behind you. >> Go ahead. >> You're not walking behind me. Period. I don't trust you. I don't trust Yes. Please record. Thank you. >> Um, my Instagram is >> so send it to me >> so I can send it to my daddy cuz they're definitely not walking behind me because y'all Instagram. >> She didn't just likely gain a criminal record that day, but also made a plane full of enemies. All because she decided to throw a toddler level tantrum. The other passengers let their frustration be known, booing and jeering as she was finally forced to leave the aircraft. >> We need your giving you a direct order to walk over. >> Okay. >> Don't make it worse. >> They're making it worse for them. That's illegal as I didn't do >> here. Everybody here is out. >> I have a ticket like everybody else. What do you mean? >> I'm not going to hurt you. >> Can somebody record this? >> Can somebody record this? >> What is you doing? >> What is you doing? It is not necessary. >> Y'all not necessary. What the hell? I have a ticket for this flight. >> The flight ticket she wouldn't stop talking about was worthless at that point. We've all been late before. But instead of owning it and catching the next flight, she made one stupid mistake after another. Sneaking onto a plane and then refusing to leave was never going to end well for anybody. >> It's no longer valid. >> What do you mean it's not valid? cuz you're going to get >> but everybody else is battle. >> I'm not going to We're going to have to >> Well, hold on. Let's >> relax. We're going to take your >> I'm relaxed. You're grabbing me. You're not grabbing your phone. >> I'm relaxed. You're grabbing me. What do you mean? >> Relax. >> Because why is he grabbing me and I'm relaxed? >> Like I said, he grabbing me. That's illegal as those two cuz I don't mind suing nobody. I sue Miami police and tell him she look at him that jack on a jack. >> No. Over here. >> Door 19. You repeat exit out. Just exit out. >> Exit. Exit out. [Music] Yeah. Yeah, I know. >> No, that's illegal. I just went through trying to beat me. >> Hey, not trying to beat me. Similar to her claims to sue Miami police for an illegal arrest. Her claim that the police are beating her could also be disproven by the body cam footage. There was no beating or abuse, just officers doing their job while she did her best to make it as difficult as possible. >> Police. Y'all being sued. >> Y should Why y'all didn't have a body cameras on? Why y'all didn't have body cameras on? Then y'all going to suffocate me in a car this way. You >> have to grab this. >> Yes, I will grab this cuff. You're welcome. >> You're under arrest. >> You're under arrest. >> You're under arrest. >> The unidentified woman faced a string of charges. These included disorderly conduct and destruction of aircraft. She was sentenced to probation. When addressing the judge, she admitted fault, but added that the employees should have been nicer to her. Most travelers just want to get through security and board their flight without incidents. Not these seven people, though, whose outrageous arrests caused them to miss their flights. But their actions didn't just cost them their seats. They also left without their dignity.
