I'm Can I >> It's not going to be doesn't mean that we're keeping the dog from you or anything like that. It just means the dog is going to be held safely. If one of those two I already called it. What's his name? >> His name is Blue. >> Okay. Is there a leash in the car? >> No. >> Tyler. >> And none of his stuff is in there because >> I was actually I came I rode with Michelle. >> Whose service dog is it? >> Mine. The woman, later identified as Tanisha Travis Sims, claimed she was only trying to show the officer surgical staples from a recent procedure and that she needed her asthma inhaler. >> Colon cancer and I can't even ask you why. So, it's it's your personal effect. >> Cancer. >> All right, >> let's get her in the car. >> Okay. What's So, can you tell Can you at least tell me what's going on? Can I at least call the car? >> No. >> I mean, can I at least is like >> the car? The car will be towed. >> Why? >> Ma'am, you're under arrest for shopping. >> But are they keeping me? They sending me to jail when I'm on under arrest, right? >> What What happens? We're we'll take you back. Ma'am, we're going to take you back to headquarters or our headquarters and we'll get that sorted out. Okay. >> What? I go to jail, prison. >> Uh well, as of right now, we're not doing any of that. So, we just got to go back to headquarters. We got to take care of you, get you processed. Okay. >> All right. Cuz I didn't God knows I didn't do nothing. >> Well, we have you on camera. So, >> Okay. Okay. >> Okay. But I didn't leave out no store with anything and I stopped. >> Hey, >> uh search incident to arrest and the things on the floor. here. >> There's a few debit cards that are not >> got drinks in it. >> These are these are not me. >> Apparently, this is this was her wife. >> All right. >> This is Michelle apparently was with her, but >> Okay. >> I I found this >> on the floor. >> No, in the purse. I was just like, "Okay, I don't know what this is." So, there's a lot in here. You could like look into it and get back in front of him. >> All right. >> Did I bite you? >> No. No. Huh? >> No, he didn't bite. >> He was good. He was good. He was I think he was just all commotion and everything was going on. >> All together. >> Where is the park? Okay. >> Uhhuh. Do you want to tell them what you told me about like everything that happened to her? >> Yeah. So did >> I saw her uh pull out of row 15 uh towards the entrance. Driving out towards the entrance. >> She was carelessly driving in and out of cars. >> Then she took uh I think I'm not too sure what row was. It was directly in front of the sand club entrance. Took that row, shot all the way to the back, made a quick right >> out to Park Plaza Drive. >> Okay. >> Then you know made the left on Plaza Park Plaza. And then this first speed bump that she hit, she went over it so fast that sparks sparks were flying underneath the car. Then the second one here, same thing as the sparks. >> Okay. >> Pulled into here, she got out and she walked towards the mailbox to make it look like she was grabbing mail. >> Okay. Um when she came back to the car, I guess the car was locked. She tried to get into it. I confirmed the description, you know, red red young red sweat, black female. And at that point, I told her she was being detained for a shoplifting investigation. Uh she walked around the car, tried to get in on the other side. I then told her, "Hey, listen. >> Don't don't don't walk away from me. Then she began we got to the back of the car here. She started jogging to the front and then she opened the door and as she's opening the door, she sat down and started reaching her waistband." At that point, I told her, "Hey, listen. You know, I gave her commands. Don't reach. Stop reaching." >> Danisha Travis Sims now faces several charges including shoplifting, obstructing the administration of law, resisting arrest, and possession of stolen credit cards. She was later released from custody pending a court hearing. Let's take a look at how viewers reacted after watching that breathtaking situation. That woman, even at her age, holding tarantulas hostage on her eyelids. Intelligence is inversely proportional to the length of the false eyelashes. When an officer gives a clear order to stay in the vehicle during a detention, reaching toward the waistband or attempting to re-enter the car can be reasonably interpreted as a threat. While Tanisha was arrested immediately following a highstakes pursuit, the woman in the next story believed she had successfully gotten away with a collision until the police unexpectedly showed up at her doorstep the very next day. Why did this woman think she could run over someone's foot outside Walmart and simply drive away like nothing happened? >> I don't know how to explain it. Like North Belt West. Yeah, that's all because she's already squirly and I don't, you know, and I want to tow this car. Um, and uh I feel like if we're going to be out here for more than a half hour, 45 minutes with her trying to get that all accomplished that she's going to start going hayw. >> Sergeant Barllock and his partner informed Anna Edwards that her vehicle had been captured on video at the Walmart parking lot the previous day around noon. Surveillance showed a confrontation with another driver in a red car that ended with her vehicle running over the person's foot. Hello. Hello. Hello. You okay? Is everything all right? >> What's going on? Are you Annia? Something happened. What's going on? >> Oh, you had some stuff on your your eyes. Hey, um I'm Sergeant Barllock with the Old Found Police Department. Can I talk with you for a minute? Is that okay? >> I mean, you might as well talk. The door's open. >> Okay. Uh are you here by yourself? >> Yeah. >> Okay. So, >> Oh, >> yeah. Sorry. [clears throat] This my partner. He's uh Detective [snorts] L. >> Okay. you okay? >> I was just making sure my camera's recording. >> Oh, okay. Yeah, no problem. So, here's the thing. Um, we're from Police Department. There was an incident that happened yesterday at Walmart. You familiar with that? >> No. >> You don't remember what happened at Walmart? >> No. >> Kind of like a that lady cut you off right in front of the parking lot there. >> No. >> Okay. Well, you shopped at Walmart yesterday, right? No falling. >> No. [snorts] >> Well, um, we had you on video going into the store and your car was there, too. Was this yesterday? Right. Right around this time. Right around noon. >> Do you know what happened? >> No. >> Okay. You're in, right? Edwards. Yes. >> Okay. So, what happened yesterday? >> I don't know. >> Okay. So, here's the other thing. Uh you do have a warrant for your arrest. Okay. So, you're going to have to come with us. Are there some shoes you want to put on? >> Are you serious? >> Mhm. >> For for what? So, and I'll and I'll just say more importantly, your car was at Walmart and there was a road rage incident there in the parking lot. We're not stupid. You came here. We follow >> I have a warrant for that. >> No, not not that. So, hang on. So, that's what we want to talk to you about. So, essentially, your car was used. It's got a bad license plate on it. Everything like that. It came to Walmart and it ran over someone's foot. So, that's that's why you're here. So, we can tow that car, we can hold it, we can put an impound fee on it. We came here to ask you kind of what happened because I feel like there's more to the situation. We We know that you ran over someone's foot. I feel like there's more to the situation. We're asking you if you uh come with us and talk to us more about it. The fact that you're saying you weren't there, we know that's just not true. >> And we're I don't know. And I think >> that's fine. I just know there's more to this the story. I I see someone's someone's saying that you hit them with their car and ran over their foot. >> And so that's what I wanted to talk to you about. I feel like there's more to the story. >> Well, we're talking now, right? And we are on >> So the warrant issue is I mean, basically, you know, just trying to explain to you that um that's something [snorts] that's old for like a DUI, something like that from maybe 2024 or something like that. A couple years ago, >> a warrant. >> Yeah. >> For a DUI. Yeah. So, that's kind of a side note of this whole thing. What we're here to talk to you about is just what happened at Walmart yesterday. So, that's >> I literally don't know. I went to two different Walmarts yesterday. >> Okay. Which one? >> Went to the Belleville one >> and yeah. >> Anna repeatedly claimed she did not remember any argument or incident, saying she only remembered looking for a parking spot, going inside the store, and coming back out. >> So, it's about what happened up at. From what I saw, it looked like the lady kind of cut you off in the parking lot there and kind of seemed like you guys kind of got into a little heated argument or discussion or whatever else within your vehicles. >> Okay. >> Does that make sense? >> I mean, I know I went to Walmart yesterday and I went inside and shopped. Yeah. >> Yeah. And do you remember going around the parking lot a couple times and having a confrontation with this lady in a red car? >> I remember looking for a parking spot. Yeah. But do you remember the red car that cut you off? >> I just remember looking for a parking spot, going in the store, and coming out. >> Okay. All right. So, so that's what we want to talk to you about. Okay. So, do you have some shoes that you want to kick on and >> But that doesn't make sense. You keep saying you guys want to talk to me about that and we're talking now. >> I know, but we're not I don't want to talk here because there's other things that I have. I got some photos, some other stuff that I'd like to show you and obviously I don't have that with me. So, >> okay. Can I come at a later time? >> And that's kind of what the side note is is obviously you got a warrant for your arrest. So, that's kind of the side note. So, one way or the other, you're going to have to come with us. >> So, it says a DUI, a warrant for DUI. I was just Does it tell you I was just last already for that? >> No. I don't know if it's like a contempt of court thing. Where are you heading to? >> Open the door. >> It was open whenever we came up. >> Mm. It was open. >> I don't know if that was >> Well, I can tell you when I came up the stairs, it was open. And that's what kind of That's why we were kind of >> The door was literally locked. I mean, the bottom lock was usually >> I don't know if the wind blew it open at some point or something like that. I don't know. But it was wide open like that whenever you saw us around the corner. That's why I was kind of wondering what happened. >> It wasn't wide open cuz I had just used the bathroom. >> No, it was >> before I laid down. >> You got a key or anything? >> The bottom lock still up. So, I don't know how they open it up. Really? The bottom lock is >> It was wide open like this. And it wasn't. I mean, y'all got cameras. >> Yeah, you should look that up because we got cameras, too. >> In addition to the investigation, officers informed her that she had an outstanding warrant related to an older DUI case. >> I don't know. We're around this way. >> Yeah. >> All right. >> So, here's the thing. If you want to hang up with him, I got to check you. Make sure you got no weapons on you. Okay. >> Okay. I'm >> All right. Tell me you been at the old found police department. >> Um, I'mma be at O'Fallen, I guess. I'm be at O'Fallen. He making me get off the phone. All right. Want to put that in your pocket? Make sure you got nothing on you. Okay. Can you turn around for me? Put your hands behind your back here for me. Okay. I got to put you in handcuffs. Well, you're under arrest. >> What's that? >> Uh-huh. That's why I said for the DUI or whatever. >> Watch out. Oh, watch your hands here. Lock these. Okay. >> All right. Set on the other side. >> Okay. Hey, Nick. >> Yeah. Here, let me ask you something real quick. >> She got something coming. Okay, that's fine. Uh, do you want to just have a patrol guy? In the meantime, >> yeah, let me call let me call Plasma. All right, sit with her. >> Hey, are you guys all at minimums? >> Okay. about the >> No, I got No, I got we took hooked up that girl in Belleville from uh that hit and run basically where she ran over the foot and so we're down here in Belleville. We got her in custody, but um like to tow the car and I was going to see if maybe if you had somebody available just to come pick her up and transport her and then we would stay and wait for the toe. So, um, kind of near, uh, let's see, like Frank Scott and, uh, I don't know how to explain it, like North Belt West. Yeah, that's all because she's already squirly and I don't, you know, and I want to tow this car. Um, and uh, I feel like if we're going to be out here for more than a half hour, 45 minutes with her, trying to get that all accomplished that she's going to start going haywire. >> After a short discussion at the doorway, Anna was placed in handcuffs. >> Uh, 26-906. Um, it was a hit and run from yesterday at Walmart, so it should have all the vehicle information in there. 141 >> 128 I am. >> All right. >> Buckle your ear. while you're out there. >> All right, this officer card, he's going to take you back to we're going to be right behind you. You got any pockets? You got his phone? >> Uh, whenever we get back there, if you just want to throw an ITI, we'll take care of picture or anything else. >> Yeah. >> Sounds good. >> All right. I appreciate it. Thanks. Good >> rout2627. >> Hey, it's Barlock from Allen PD. Um, do you know who's coming out here to tow a car in Belleville? Oh, okay. Good. All right. I just wanted to uh It's kind of a tricky location where we're at. Um, if you want to let him know, I think he should have my phone number uh just to kind of give me a call when he gets close cuz it's actually kind of behind this apartment complex where the address is. So, yep, that's it. All right, sounds good. Thank you. All right, bye. Get all the pictures you need. Anna Edwards was arrested and charged with aggravated battery in connection with running over the victim's foot in the Walmart parking lot. The outstanding DUI related warrant was also addressed as part of the arrest. Here are the most attention-grabbing comments from the online community regarding this incident. She lies so much she even said her house door was closed. She drove over a woman foot just because of an argument and a DUI warrant. She's such a liar. Video evidence from store parking lots is frequently used to identify vehicles and drivers involved in hit and run or road rage incidents. What happens when an intoxicated woman leaves her child at a Walmart customer service desk and then denies the child even exists? >> Hey, take a seat for me. Take a seat for me. Ma'am, right now you're going to be detained. Hey, sir. Back up. She's going to be detained. >> Hey, take a seat. >> Are you father of the kid? >> No. >> What kid? >> The kid you left at Walmart. On November 11th, 2024, officers in New Mexico responded to a call from a local Walmart reporting an intoxicated woman who had abandoned her child. >> They down on the main street side. >> Yeah, she's >> That's her right there. >> That's her right there. >> Okay, I see her. >> I think she's trying to wave somebody down. She's drunk >> and she's the one in the street right now. >> Down. I don't know who the person is chasing. Yeah, that guy. >> Okay. Yeah, I have my officer hand. >> Her kids in the customer service. She just Yeah, we got it. >> She just left her kid there. >> Oh my god. >> Made us. Looks like she might be at McDonald's. Someone's I think trying to talk to her in a light green shirt. >> Okay, let me go check on the kiddo. Thank you. >> Someone's phone. Mhm. >> The one of the workers phoned in there to call her aunt. >> Okay. >> I guess the kid's aunt is on the way to pick her up, but she just straight up. >> Yeah. >> I even asked the kid because that lady was getting crazy with that kid in there. And I asked the kid, I said, "Is this your mom?" And she started crying. Yeah. Heartbreak. >> Yeah. Okay. I'll be right back cuz it looks like they're trying to fight. So, can you just hang out for a second? The caller stated the woman had left the child behind at the customer service desk before walking away on foot. >> We have no kids. Hey, stay right there. Take a seat. >> We have no kid. It's sit down. >> Hey, sir. Sit down or you're going to go to jail. Ma'am, you stop right now. >> We have no kid together. >> Okay. She later failed to appear in court and a warrant was issued for her arrest. In response to that outofcrol escalation, the viewers have shared some very sharp perspectives. She got one thing right. She is in fact on a YouTube channel. Drunk stepdad doesn't know the age or grade of the poor girl her gross drunk mom abandoned at Walmart. They need to take that child away. Hopefully, she never regains custody of her child. Leaving a child unattended in a public place while intoxicated constitutes child abandonment. Denying the child's existence and resisting officers only multiplies the charges. While the previous incident was an infuriating display of parental indifference, the following story brings us to an even more horrific tragedy within the same supermarket chain. What happens when a Walmart employee shows up on his day off armed looking for his girlfriend and the situation ends with someone shot multiple times? >> Hey, get on the ground. Get on the ground. He was later convicted of seconddegree murder and sentenced to 25 years in prison. This situation has sparked quite a bit of debate. Let's see how the viewers evaluate the actions of everyone involved. I swear my last breath would be telling this woman to shut the hell up. Somebody get that hysterical idiot out of there. Shut her up. Domestic disputes that turn violent inside a public place, can quickly escalate into deadly force situations. Bringing a firearm to confront a partner, especially in a crowded retail environment, dramatically increases the risk of tragedy. However, the following story brings a different kind of chaos. The defiance of an individual who was previously banned but determined to return and wreak havoc at the supermarket. What happens when a previously trespassed woman returns to Walmart, becomes aggressive, and throws a card at an employee? >> Lie to me. Lie to me. Lie to me. Lie to me. >> You're going to stop. >> Lie to me. Lie to me. Lie to me. Lie to me. Lie to me. Lie to me. Lie to me. Lie to me. Lie to me. Lie to me. Lie to me. Lie to me. Stop. You were trespassed prior. Come on. We're leaving this here. Walk outside with me. Or we can go. You've been trespassed. Okay, there you can go and stop. >> Let go. You have been trespassed. You are committing a crime, woman. >> This is all you. Now I can charge you with resisting as well. >> Let go. >> What is your game? What is >> Let go. >> What is What is >> right now? In the car. in the car. >> You're going to go to jail now. >> The woman identified as Miss Caesar or similar had been formally trespassed from the store weeks earlier after an incident involving a failed money transfer. Sit down. >> Lie to me. Lie to me. Lie to me. Lie to me. Lie to me. Lie to me. >> Stop. >> Lie to me. >> You're under arrest. >> Lie to me. >> Lie to me. >> Lie to me. >> Stop. >> Lie to me. >> I tried to get you to walk outside with me and you refused. >> Lie to me. >> Last name. >> Lie to me. >> You're getting You're going to get put in a wrap. >> Let me go home. >> You're going to jail now. >> Let me go. Come and buy food. >> No. >> What is my problem? >> You're trespassing. >> You are trespassing. There are other stores in my food. >> No. >> Give me my food. Give me my food. >> You ask her if she actually paid for the food. >> Do you have someone? >> You come here for for help. People come here for help people. >> You're not allowed to be here. Officers attempted to walk her outside peacefully, but she resisted, pulled away, kicked, and repeatedly yelled for her food and card. She continued struggling even after being told she was under arrest for trespassing and resisting. >> Oh, what happened? >> So, um June 30th, she had came in and uh she did a money transfer. Um the money transfer for some reason was not going through. She was red flagged. Um she had a couple of her kids and uh she got really upset. She went at the store manager. Uh she they called the cops. Whenever she the cop got here, she started throwing stuff at the cop. So they arrested her. She threw everything on the floor. Um the same thing that she's doing right now. So a couple days after she came in to get her money. Um we told her she was trespassed. She left really good right now. Um she was shopping and I went up to her. I'm sorry, but you really need to leave. Um you are trespassed. and she got the cart and she was like throwing the trash cans all over getting merchandise and throw it in the floor. She's like, "The cops can't do anything." I was like, "Ma'am, I'm just letting you know. Can you please just get out of our store? You know, you can't be shopping here." And so she started throwing merchandise and um she pushed one of the customers. >> Breathe. >> You're making us worse. >> My food. >> Come on. My food and my god. >> What is your item? I have your >> my food and my card. >> I have your shoes and your purse in here. We're sorting through >> people here for me. Okay, >> Missa, do you have any injuries or anything? >> Give me my food. This come help me for for for this food. Do you have any refused come me and it's a problem and you come take me? You are helping our people every time we assess me and and the problem. What >> are you going to get out so we can take the photos? Would you like your shoes on? Would you like your shoes? [laughter] >> This is for me. >> Sis, [clears throat] I need to take some pictures of you. >> Give me my shoes. >> Are you going to cooperate, >> boy? step out and he's going to get photos of you. So if there's any place that hurts, tell him. >> Give me my food. Me go home. >> You didn't pay for the food. It didn't go through. You're not going home. You're going to jail. >> Every time you come here and your problem every time this this this guy come help me for for something refused. You come take me. What is my problem today? What is my problem? Now you can listen to me so I can tell you why. You were trespassed from here. You are not allowed to be here. If you went to another store, you'd be fine. There'd be no issues. But because you came here, you caused an issue and they already have your trespass. You already committed a crime. And then when you refused to cooperate with me and started kicking at customers, that's why I had to get physical. Had you walked outside without this blocking me? No. And >> she was arrested right here and she was picking carts and screaming and then she was kicking this kicking this and >> the suspect was charged with criminal trespassing and resisting arrest. She was transported to jail after the incident was fully documented. This situation has sparked quite a bit of debate. Let's see how the viewers evaluate the actions of everyone involved. If the police told me to leave or go to jail, I would be gone so fast it would make them question whether I was there to begin with. I was in the other room and was super confused about why the cops were trying to arrest an aggressive Chihuahua. Once a formal trespass warning has been issued, returning to the property is a criminal offense. Becoming aggressive, throwing objects or physically resisting officers turns a simple trespass into additional charges. The following story brings a different kind of chaos. The defiance of an individual who was previously banned but determined to return and wreak havoc at the supermarket. What happens when officers discover animals left in a sweltering car outside Walmart and the owner turns the situation into a physical fight? >> Do it. >> You do it. >> Go down. Down. Look in that waterfall in the cage in this crate. >> I can't see. >> Look in that water. >> They're dead. >> I think so. >> Yeah, I think so, too. Officers located two animal crates inside the car. Inside one crate, they found multiple kittens and at least one adult cat. Several of the animals appeared already deceased from the heat. A dog was also reported missing from the vehicle. >> Also, that girl's watching everything that we do. >> That's fine. >> Did you get anything back or no? >> Charles Slater comes back to out of our peanut.
