AFTER THIS CHAOTIC SCENE, SYLVIA WAS indicted by a grand jury on two felony counts of assault on a police officer, a misdemeanor count of resisting arrest and DUI as they later found traces of marijuana in her system, as well as a blood alcohol content nearly two times the legal limit. However, the judge dismissed both felony counts and she was charged with only misdemeanor assault on a police officer and DUI. After completing a mandatory drug treatment program, she was sentenced to probation and charged a fee of over 1,600 US dollars. Next, let's meet Alfonso from Florida. Police officers spotted Alfonso driving all over the road, swerving, and even driving in the wrong lane. But, when police finally pulled him over, even they were shocked with how intoxicated he was. All right. Officer 224 flag her. 10-65 uh 10-50 on that vehicle. It's going to be 100 medium priority. Westbound at Memorial Medical. It's Florida tag. Correction, TEXAS TAG. ROMEO. WHAT ARE YOU DOING? WHAT? WE HAD MY LIGHTS and sirens on since I-95 and you've taken this long to pull over. Any reason? Huh? Okay. You're driving all over the road, too. You're not maintaining your lane. You almost blew through that red light. Are you having any kind of a medical emergency? What's that? Okay. Do me a favor, shut the vehicle off. Shut your vehicle off for me. Shut your vehicle off. Turn the car off. It is a very simple thing I'm asking you to do. Let me see your keys. Let me Hand me your keys. Hand me your keys. No. Okay. Step out of the vehicle for me. Step out of the vehicle. Step out of the vehicle for me. Come on out, bud. You okay? I'm still docked at the office cuz I haven't had Come on. You all right? No. What's going on? I So you're What? What's going on? I I I I don't know. Well, I asked you if you were all right and you said no. Correct. So, what's going on? Why aren't you okay? Why aren't you okay? What's going on? Mike. So, what's go What's What's going on with you, Mike? Cuz you're you're driving all over the road, okay? You ran off the road a couple times, all right? You about Well, no, it's not fine. That's why you're being stopped. And then, we had our lights and sirens on behind you. You weren't stopping for us. So, like, what's what's going on? I I I I don't know what it's really you say. Things are not I know. Well, we got an ambulance coming to check on you, man. I'm not being an You are an Not yet. Okay. Huh? All right. All right. Okay. Oh, yeah. Yeah, I know. Absolutely. I'm going to arrest for driving under the influence. I know I'm an ass. It's Sunday. Alfonso was brought to the hospital to be treated. After being cleared, he was arrested for felony DUI after it was discovered he had an extensive history of drunk driving arrests. Back in May 2022, a 20-year-old woman was pulled over for her tail lights being out. When the officer approached the vehicle, he began to suspect she may be inebriated and began to conduct a DUI investigation. Let's see if she'll comply. Hi, how are you doing? Was I speeding? No, you weren't speeding. You don't have your back lights on. They don't turn on. They're automatic. Okay. auto lights that come on. Mhm. So, that's what's on right now. It only don't have any way to turn them on? My back lights? Yeah, so like a lot of times Okay. No, like your tail lights just aren't on at all. So, when you brake your when you brake your lights will activate, but like when you're just driving on the road regularly. These are just auto lights. I don't really know how to fix that. Okay. It's not If you If you twist it over, usually brights are on. Yeah, so So Yeah. don't know I don't know how to fix it. Every car is different. I don't think I'm allowed to have my brights on when I'm on the main Yeah, you're not. Um but there's got to be a way to have your back lights on. Um I don't know. Can you say Can you go ahead and put the car in park for rental car. This isn't even mine. If you look at my plates already, this is a rental car. Okay, that's fine. Do you have your license on you? I have a state ID. Okay. Can you put your car in park for me? Okay. And do you have your ID on you? a state ID. Can you hand me my purse? I actually don't know if it's in here, but Okay, I can take not going to work Oh, okay. I got you. Sorry, I just came back Okay, I don't have my state ID. I don't know if you can look it up. Yeah, I can take down your name. It's honestly so confusing. My car is so old. Are you Yeah, I don't even This isn't my car, so I barely Yeah, it happens. It happens. It's a rental. What's your first name? All right. And have you guys been drinking? No. No, nobody's been drinking at all? Okay. got off at Jim's. Okay, it smells like alcohol in the car, that's why I'm asking. Okay. So, if have any alcohol in the car. I know. I know. I'm saying it If you have been drinking, it smells like somebody's been drinking. So, that's why I'm asking. Okay. All right. So, you haven't had None of you have had anything to drink. a party. Okay. Okay. All right, well just give me 1 sec. I'm going to be right back with you, okay? Okay. Okay. They were just You could tell that they're the ones in the one in the back seat drunk for sure, and I tried to explain to the driver that I was like, "Somebody's been drinking in this car." They're like, "No, we haven't been drinking." So Yeah, I'm just going to see if she'll do some tests for me. All right. So, Jade, you said you had nothing to drink tonight, right? No. Okay. Would you mind just doing a few tests for me to see us But you pulled me over for lights. Isn't that a warning? No, it can be a ticket. I've gotten pulled over for my lights not being on, and I've sworn every time that's a warning. a It's a violation, so you can you can write somebody a ticket for it. Although tail light malfunctions typically result in a ticket, if the officer suspects the driver is under the influence, they are within their rights to conduct a thorough investigation. So, my lights didn't come on in the back. I explained that to you. They weren't on. What is that Like, what do you mean by lights? were not on in the back. That means that nobody could see you when you were driving down the road if they were behind you. And it's all recorded on camera, so Okay. I guess I'm just kind of confused, but um all of us can step out Nope, I just need you to step out cuz you're the one driving. Okay. Okay, you haven't had anything to drink, right? No. I mean, we went to a party, but I don't think that anything that we were like containing or anything like that has us under the influence as being drunk. Okay. How old are you? 4.8, right? 4.08, yeah. And you're how old? 20. And you said you you were at a party. You drank a little bit though, is that what you said? Okay, how much did you drink? Not enough to be drunk. Okay. So since you're under the age of 21, you admitted to drinking to me. Okay, you know you have to blow absolute zeros to be able to drive, right? So, I don't think Basically, I said everyone in this car has drank. I did not say to you that I have drank. I said just said that you drank. everyone in this car You drank a little bit though, is that what you said? Okay, how much did you drink? Not enough to be drunk. Okay, I'm going to breathalyze you right now because Okay. I'm noticing indicators of impairment, and I want to be sure that what I'm seeing from our test are accurate. Okay. You can come with me. You can literally come with me. I don't care, but I really have to go to the bathroom. Okay, I'll get this set up again for you. Okay. Yeah, just blow in this nice steady breath until it clicks, okay? Did it click? Yep. You're at a 0.103. 0.103, what does that mean? Under 0.08 you're over the legal limit. Okay. Okay, so you do have to be placed under arrest. Okay. Okay, put your hands behind your back for to take them home? They're going to They're getting picked up, so Okay. So, what did you say it was? Sorry. 0.103. 0.103? 0.103. It's It's gone now. I just showed it to you a second ago. I need everything out of that car. No. Whose car is it? A rental. Whose car? A rental car. Like Sam Okay, you can't rent a car. You're under the age of 21. So, who who rented the car? They rented the car to me. That's their fault. Is it possible you can come pee with me again? What's that? I don't need a female watch officer to watch me. I don't want to pee my pants again. Will you come with me outside? You can follow me. We're We're literally going to the police department. It's like a mile away. I'm peeing on your seat. Right now? Yes. She's peeing again. STOP! NO! GET YOUR HAND OFF GET OUT OF THE CAR. YOU'RE GOING TO GET TASED. GET OUT of the car. Okay. You're going to get Okay. Ow! Okay. Where's your body cam? I don't know. Hey, go get your body cam. I'll have you stand by her. Is she all right? You good? Roll on your side. You okay? You okay? Mhm. What's the matter? Here's your body cam. You slammed me on my chest. Do you need the ambulance? Do you need rescue? Can you get an ambulance? Yeah. Jade, what are you hurting? What's hurting? My chest. Your chest? Okay, go to your side. Roll to your side. I can't feel my hands. You can't feel your hands? They're numb and tingling. He said they're numb and tingling. What else is tingling? My legs. Your legs? Can you move your legs? Yes. Okay, I'm going to have you sit up, okay? My hands are numb. My hands are numb. Okay, I'm going to have you sit up, ready? I'm going to have you sit up. Are you okay? Sit up. Are your legs all right? I can feel my legs. I can't feel my hands. All right. And my chest hurts. All right, we got rescue en route. Was it worth it? I hope so. Can I have my hat? No. I'm not allowed to have my hat? No. Why? Tax why? We're done trying to be nice to you. But I'm asking Especially after that [ __ ] that you pulled. But I'm asking why I can't have a hat. Cuz I said so. It's right there. I tried to be nice to you and let you go to the bathroom and you Can I have my hat? No. Why? What does a hat have to do with anything? it back in your car. It's right there. Oh, you just grabbed it? it back in the car. But that's going to the rental company. You realize that? No, it's going to getting towed. It's getting towed. You're towing my car? Yes. You can't take it back to the dealership? No. Why? Cuz you're getting arrested for DUI. But you can't take it That's not even my car. Okay. Cuz you just told me that Your hands. Keep your hands from moving. A dealership sold me my car under age. So, that makes me want to call them when I get out of here. How old are you? You already know my age. How old are you? Isn't he your main person? So, why don't you ask him? 20. Nope. Cuz they usually don't sell to anybody under the age of 25. Extra That's against the law. That has nothing to do with us. But you pulled me under You pulled me You pulled me over in a rental car. So, you ran my plates, right? I'm asking you that. You ran my plates, right? Yeah. Yeah. So, I'm about to call them and tell them you just sold me a car You just ran my car and they sold it to me under age. So, that's already against the law. This isn't even my car. That doesn't make How do your legs feel? You're getting towed. How do your legs feel? Huh? Are you injured anywhere else? my arms, not my legs. I said my chest and my arms are numb, still. Yes, still. No, I didn't say my my chest was numb. I said my arms were numb. Yes, I do not feel them. Probably the mixture of the cold and the fact that you slammed me down. So, yes, yes. Well, you tried to take us off on us, so I realize that. And this is a hard drive, so that's on you now. Yes, ma'am. I realize that. officer, so I realize that, but I'm telling you yes that they are still very numb. Is anything else injured? My head hurts a little bit. Probably gave me a concussion when you slammed my head. Your head head wasn't slammed on the ground. Yeah, my face was on the floor. Your head was not slammed on the ground, ma'am. No, my head hit the floor on my own. On your own? Okay. Like due to you guys slamming me on the floor. So, yeah, my head does hurt. If you want to do a concussion test I threw the key in the Do you want to push the start? Due to the force, my head hit the floor. So, And I know you have the body cam, so yeah, due to the force, my head hit the floor. So, if you guys could do a concussion test whenever this ambulance get here It'd be great to know that you gave me a concussion. down? That'd be awesome to know. What's that? I'm really just trying to cooperate. Like I hope you know that. I know you already looked up my file. I went to U High. I'm a good kid. I'm not trying I'm not trying to play around because you tried like literally pulling me out of the car and I know all about police brutality. I'm scared for my life that you're going to shoot me. That's what I'm scared about. That's why. Okay. Not to be rude, but you're a white male. So, anytime I see a white officer, I get hella scared for my life. Okay. That's the only thing that I'm ever worried about. Okay. I feel more comfortable around these two black officers than I do around a white officer. Okay. For sure. Well, if you did not you gave me a concussion, you got me [ __ ] up for sure. Okay. Cuz I will That's going to be interesting. So, when the ambulance gets here when you walk over there, do not try to run because you will get tackled. I'm going to tell them exactly what tackle you if you run. Okay, cuz you're white. That Yeah, that's right. Yep. Notice how she said she wasn't going to tackle me and she's a female? Weirdo. You're literally weird. The suspect was ultimately charged with DUI and attempting to evade police custody. Our final case occurred in December of 2023 when Washington police began receiving multiple 911 calls about a possible drunk driver in a white truck. When police arrived, they were shocked to see a baby in the back seat. Let's see what this mother of the year has to say for herself. Can I have your name and number for me? Yeah, just one second. No, I mean now. That was rude, but okay. Okay, thank you. Yeah, you're welcome. Okay. Have you had anything to drink tonight? No, ma'am. Take any intoxicating uh I don't know, substances compressed air, you on any prescription medication, anything like that? No, ma'am. Okay, so the reason I'm asking this is there's been multiple calls about your driving. Okay. So, I got very turned around in the in the fog. I got confused and kind of worried about it for a minute. Um especially cuz I'm obviously low on gas. Actually, I'm I need to get gas. So, I was kind of panicking for a bit for sure. Okay. How many kiddos you got back there? One. Just one? Just one. Okay.
