in today's episode we're going to investigate chilling kidnapping cases the truck pulled up beside him and asked him if he wanted candy they asked us to get in like this monster who kidnapped his ex-girlfriend and then killed her in front of the police grabbed her by the arm and walked her out of here with a weapon shot fir shot fir or the Exon who tried to kidnap a random girl right after being released from prison a mentally unstable man who showed up on his neighbor's porch with a kidnapped child help help no no Joseph C along with other bizarre cases hey stop we're starting with a case that sounds like it's straight out of a movie a scared mother called for help because two young men in a truck were offering candy to her underage son it didn't take long for the police to track them down as several witnesses had seen their license plates looking for a leon or whatever his name is Leon owns that truck uh I don't know you don't know is he home huh is he home I don't know come on man you don't know if he's home I don't know I'm just here okay I'm his friend what would you be yeah so we'll do this a couple of ways okay he's not in any trouble right now were you in the truck with him earlier you know why we're here right stuff you guys said to those kids over there what kids the truck pulled up beside him and asked him if he wanted candy A PS5 and a switch to get into the truck they asked us to get in tell him to come out here he's in the shower right now I'm going to pull everyone out the house he's in the shower right now then tell him just to come out and talk to us when he's done okay tell him to step it up though cuz we're not going to sit out here all day fa enough okay go let them know the only problem would be you guys giving us red flags to not want to talk to us that's the only problem that could happen right now okay were you with them cuz they described a guy in blue shirt blue shorts and all that's funny blue shorts cuz if I was even sitting in the two people called about that truck stopping to talk to some kids well just listen guys um so luring and enticing a child a minor an adult doing that it's a crime I'm I'm still unaware of what I did like you could pull the camera footage from the corner store here I never stopped and talk to no kid okay well a 9-year-old reporting something like that to us isn't something ay old do he reported described your truck to a te oh yeah I don't sh and someone someone who is not involved just a random person saw you talking to the kid and called it in too yeah so a 9-year-old is reporting to us that someone in that truck yeah right here by the made some comments that hey you want candy you want a Nintendo switch I'm just telling you what happened right over here you can pull the camera you pull camera footage from any one of these houses man if something else was said where maybe the kid thinks that happened that' be no sir something to tell us I was just G I just R I thought you guys going be here because that thing was on the damn road cuz it's not real yeah I don't care we don't see it driving so I don't sure if anything I may have been yelling at him ask him if you want a candy no I never said candy nobody even said nothing candy never came out my mouth it seems like these guys thought this was just a game but they've committed a serious crime and the police can't know what their real intentions were now they'll ask the victim to identify the perpetrators and if the boy confirms their identities they'll face charges for luring and enticing a child that's a third deegree felony and the perpetrators might even have to register as sex offenders so we're going to take a little short ride and like that paper said don't feel pressured like you have to you know pick somebody out all right we don't want to accidentally arrest the wrong person okay yeah that's the truck okay do you see the person who was saying that the blue one this guy in the blue yeah okay how mental issues kidnapped a child from a nearby house he then showed up at another neighbor with the child asking to be let in that neighbor having no idea what was happening was shocked by the scene especially when he noticed the Furious mother was chasing after the kidnapper once the child was safe the neighbor pulled out a gun and held the kidnapper at gunpoint until the police arrived it's only one of me y' I get that but it's only one of me they talk about it's a gun I need to make sure that the scene is safe her put it up okay I don't know that so just chill okay let me do my job shut kids and he kidnapped the little girl and brought it to me for some reason he knock banged on my door and when I came out she was screaming and I snatched him snatched her from him and I don't I don't own the weapon but you ain't in trouble or nothing BR man my brother I guess picked her up I heard I heard something and then I heard the door closed and then I heard my brother yelling saying so that's your brother yeah okay the one does he have issues he has sever he has the mental issues cuz he has brain damage a lot of bad heavy stuff that fell on his head and he did he doesn't know that he has this problem and I tried to get him help but nobody will listen to me nobody will do it you know help him out this actually complicates the situation if the child was taken with intent to harm terrorize or or used as a hostage then this is considered a first-degree felony but if the kidnapper is mentally ill he could potentially be found incompetent to stand trial or Not Guilty by reason of insanity depending on an evaluation of his mental state explain kind of what happened kind of okay yeah so pretty much um what we gathered was he her brother had some stand over here had some type of Health mental health like Break um took your daughter across the street to um what's his name my dad's uh Devonte or Devon his house um wait M's are you at my mom's house he obviously like he for me I yeah I think so um you know he's just like brought her over there right he your daughter house CT him out of the house essentially obviously got the scene under control and everything and then he's now in the back of our our Cruiser um but as we know there's no like physical harm on your daughter or anything like that yeah well he I mean he's he's getting charged with abduction and yeah I understand good so right so yeah that's kind of where we're at right now hey the reason I'm here is to talk about what happened between you and the officers tonight can you tell me about that yeah recall whether he was already here or he came in after we were here uh he appeared to be a little frustrated and so what he did is he walked behind the counter the the lady I'm assuming that was the manager what are you doing don't be going Beyond this point he proceeded to go in the back uh accosted her back toward the rear of the store grabbed her by the arm and uh walked her out of here with a weapon when I I heard the commotion the manager saying you can't come behind here what are you doing yeah he accosted the young lady by the arm he had uh his gun on him and I watched him he marched her right over to the car put her in the car she Pro you know she was protesting but you know he had a weapon so he wasn't allowed she was going to do and uh took her in the car like he said he drove over here armed with a gun 20-year-old Cameron Hopkins kidnapped his 19-year-old ex-girlfriend from her workplace the police chased him across two counties until he crashed his vehicle then right in front of the officers he shot the girl and started crying that she needed help to make matters worse just a year before this awful event Cameron had been arrested for kidnapping the same girl speed at about 90 coming up to Chelsea Drive radio if you contacted [Music] Clayton he just hit a me and he's probably going to go flat here shortly it looks like they turned into the high school here Middle confirmed that Hopkins was the one who shot his girlfriend he was charged with kidnapping aggravated assault possession of a weapon and murder we got to talk to you got an IDE on you yeah all right we'll talk to you in a second someone's going to come and talk to you here and explain everything's going on you got an ID all right you pull your ID out my man ID or something well someone's going to kidnapped you are currently seeing what led up to this traffic stop the footage shows 30-year-old Deon attempting to kidnap a 16-year-old girl in broad daylight on the street he gave up after she put up a strong resistance and cameras then caught him entering his car which the police quickly located to make matters worse dearn was released from prison Just 4 days ago and it looks like he will be going back soon the main issue is her so you you can relax man I ain't bull you the main thing is her so that's why I think he just Why stoping me this is my yeah no the main thing is main thing is and tried to drag her back to his car she grabbed onto the fence there F him off and then when the bus started up she started screaming here comes the bus he had her phone threw her phone at her and treated as a domestic case and Lewis was charged with resisting obstructing domestic battery interfering with the reporting of domestic violence and aggravated battery to a peace officer stand at the front of my carock what are you over here knocking on this door for cuz obviously they called us anding we got this person knocking on our door we don't want them here knocking on our door okay okay million followers for months he told the police that he felt a spiritual connection with the victim and was convinced that she created her Tik Tok profile just for him he followed her across the US taking pictures at the same location she visited and eventually tracked her from California to her home in Florida at 11:00 p.m. he showed up unannounced at her door the victim had blocked 20 different profiles Kai had created but he still managed to tell her that she was destined to be his and his alone so you came were you and North Carolina when you came across your Tik Tok and then had the visualization yes okay um so at that point wanting to connect with her yeah you ended up I just I Trav leaving the military and I was in Mexico City at a certain point I was in Los Angeles I've been all over the country I've driven both the the Southern Line and like the the one through South Dakota so I've been all over the country at this point and I is that cuz her Tik toks LED you there no no it was uh it was really I was just following and I really didn't know I was going there some points where I was read I'm reading a book called awareness is as long as you like focus on something like hard enough you'll come across what you need to find have you had any conversations with her in my own head but now that uh it it's come to this most likely I probably should just leave cuz I thought she was honestly talking to me at a very um like a very deep spiritual level because you fix a lot of parts to me I'm not like during this little little journey of mine a lot of the parts of girl and forcefully push her into a car when the police found her the distressed girl was in shackles she revealed shocking details of her Abdu C to the officers apparently the kidnapper was her ex-boyfriend who is now in a relationship with a transgender woman and together they kidnapped the unfortunate girl to convince her to join them in a relationship they told her they would take her to yeah he's my ex-boyfriend how did you know they called us and told us who did I was up at the office trying to run him see if we had anything on him he dragged me out of the place and I fought so hard cuz I was like this is how you die and I think a neighbor saw me getting dragged out he choked me out like six times because I kept fighting so hard okay did you lose Consciousness when he was choking
