startling incident of road rage that nearly turned disastrous a pickup truck driver after engaging in an argument with another car in traffic nonchalantly drew a gun and began shooting at the time there were two men and two small children in the targeted vehicle [Applause] [Music] what the hell did I do sir I'm going to put him in your car what the hell did I do I'll talk to you in just a second you got anything on you going post stick me face car before him patch it down make sure you ain't got no weapons any weapons in the car all right so this is what's going on we got a call saying that you shot at another vehicle as you was going down the road that vehicle was following you that's how we know it was you that's fine but it's not no it's not why would I shoot at somebody I don't know that's what we're trying to figure out yeah my guns are just don't randomly just shoot the people I was going to see one of my friends just flew in town from Colorado I have no issues with nobody okay well why was you going in and out of traffic because traffic is traffic it's like but you got in a turn lane and you Dro back into the oh because that person was driving slow you know you're not supposed to do that I'm sorry that's what I'm in trouble for I apologize for that we're going to uh figure out what uh about that shooting that happened that they said you did so just cuz somebody said something happened I can be in trouble yeah you shot out of a moving vehicle we got to do an investigation I didn't sh okay well I didn't but go ahead and do your investigation sirad where's that gun at in your vehicle it's in my glove compartment I didn't even keep the clip in it it's in my glove compartment have extra clip they're both in my glove cart okay give me just a minute hey hey sign driver no it was out of the we were on he was driving right here but he was back okay so I was in he cut me off with like no room and I went up to the side and he pulled down his back window bad driver passenger bad passenger yes if the suspect shot through the rear window a bullet casing could be found in the back bingo so tell tell me what happened uh I was sleeping in the passenger seat Budd says what the hell happened there this guy cut me off I wake up uh the car's like a foot in front of us he pulls up beside him rolls down the window goes like this guy rolls down his window goes shoots twice and what the hell and we followed him and called you guys where did exactly happen app like do you know is that like the road and stuff was y'all paying ATT no I mean it was on this road I mean we probably named off about six streets we were crossing I didn't know what we coming up across cuz I've only been here yeah I got you so the police already have a enough to arrest the suspect for aggravated assault with a weapon and possibly more charges since children are involved the victim stories match the damaged vehicle has visible bullet holes and a bullet casing was found in the pickup truck for now it seems that an ordinary road rage incident almost ended tragically due to one person's Reckless reaction but let's see what the suspect has to say in his defense now that the police have all the evidence yeah the right to remain silent anything you say can and will be used you against you in the court of law with these in mind do you wish to talk to me yeah sure okay what got any weapons in the car ask him you mind if we search just to make sure cuz his story is he was scared kids in the car you have four counts AGG s uh on him yeah Sho into that car cuz man if you to shot into those windows might have some dead children it's true that the victim had a gun in the car but he didn't take it out of the glove compartment the suspect is trying to use fear as an excuse but that's not justified because there was no real threat to be even more certain the police will also ask the children what happened uh you got any weap in the love you you mind look at no hey don't aggravated assault especially when the threat is directed at a federal employee like a mail carrier carrying or displaying a firearm during the commission of a crime can lead to additional charges furthermore since this happened in Georgia even if the young man has a permit to carry a firearm he must have it in a holster not in his pocket which adds another issue let's see what else will be degree because he was breaking mailboxes and now you'll meet 20-year-old Alexis who got into an argument with an unknown man over a parking spot and pulled out a gun during the fight it was an airsoft gun but the man didn't know that and out of fear immediately called the police while Alexis fled the scene the police soon found her and she had this to say in her defense okay well get that settled afraid that he hit you with the car and all that other good stuff I can understand why you would pull an aoft gun to think that you had to make him think you had a real gun so that he would leave and get away from you I get it I showed him that peer that is right there because he he almost hit multiple cars and then he pulled up right next to me and I'm a female so did the air soft gun come out of the purse no the purse it's still in the back seat okay no excuse me what's up when uh this is done can I show you the video I have on my phone that started this yes you will be able to show us the video because I don't we normally have a dash cam okay but it's not in our car right now so I was taking a video okay of where did this incident start I'm not sure he was chasing us from where uh I don't know we pulled over at CVS and we had a person try to get him to stop following us cuz he almost hit them and he asked if they that he was following us and I said yeah he was following us and he kept trying to like ride our and hit us and he was like trying to intimidate us behind us with his big truck she's saying on her phone is a video of like him chasing up to the CBS you're recording the whole thing right yeah and it shows him drive up on you yeah all right I'm going to take a peek so I can see what you're talking about all right he's safe she's got the whole thing on video so we'll see what they both and so he F that's when she's getting he follow them into the lot yes he's trying to hit me and I mean it sound like she grabs her purse she has to pull this thing out out before he going to get arrested for for her portion of it she's going to be it's going to be disorderly conduct she's going to get released on an ibon we're not going to tow your guys' car who was on the phone1 i11 nobody because you guys knew that you were in the wrong and she was in the wrong by pulling the gun out all right just to clarify if the man reasonably believed that the airsoft gun was a real firearm and felt his life was in imminent danger he might have the right to use deadly force in self-defense the key factor is whether his belief that he was in danger was reasonable under the circumstances not whether the gun was real and so the suspect was charged with disorderly conduct and now a shocking case from Ohio a man was driving with his wife when children from a nearby park started teasing him not knowing how to handle the situation he pulled out a gun and started threatening the kids police don't move hands up on the roof of that car I didn't do nothing put my hands no
