Just this hole right here. Hey, get the off of me. She hit me. I asked her why was she wearing glasses. I said, "Are you stealing?" She was She had on set. No, she initiated the contact with me. I said, "What are you stealing?" On June 8th, 2024, a fight broke out at a Marshalls in Ohio after one woman accused another of theft near the dressing rooms. The confrontation quickly escalated into a fist fight with hair pulling and shouting disrupting the store. Excuse me, ma'am. Hi. No, I was in the store shopping and some lady just jumped on me. Don't know. Hey, get the me. She hit me. She jumped on me. She Look at me. Where are you? Please let me go. Please let me go off. Oh my god. She's in a brown and black shirt. She's walking towards Offmax. Let me go. Please. I couldn't understand. I'm trying to train. Please let me go. The other female is passing you now. 17 and you just almost did it back to her. Are you believe this? You know what this is down? What am I looking for? Come on. I'm coming in the car. I'm coming. Can I get my stuff off the ground? Stay on the ground for right now. I didn't even do anything. Ma'am, you went after her. Ma'am, if y'all in the car, I can't understand you. I'm sorry. She's on foot. You're going in handcuffs. I'm I'm fighting you. Stop this. The blonde girl claimed to be the victim, stating the other woman attacked her without provocation. Despite police efforts to calm her, she grew increasingly hostile, repeatedly interrupting officers and insisting she was jumped. At one point, she even tried to attack the other woman again. Her reaction to being handcuffed was dramatic, escalating the situation further. Open the door. I will get in. Please. At this point, you attempted to attack her in front of me. Let go of your items. You could have been calm and we could have had her in handcuffs rather than you was coming and attacking her. I did not know her from a can of pain. Yeah, but we could have had her instead of you yelling at me and you. Oh my god. [Music] Oh my god. Oh my god. Y'all always do this to the innocent people. Y'all do this to the innocent people. You were going after her. Ma'am, I want footage. She told me jumped on me. What? My braids are all I didn't say that's her. Go get her. All right. I did say I Okay, let's take that purse off and I'll have you step away cuz she is Oh my god. I want names. Okay. Well, we got an officer with that woman. There's an officer with that woman. I'm taking I was in the store. I didn't even do anything. I'm in the store and she just jumped on me. I don't know who she is. I don't know who the girl is. Is that all? Okay. Is that all your stuff? Is that yourself? The blonde girl yelled her innocence, accusing officers of wrongful arrest and questioning why the other woman wasn't handcuffed. She expressed disbelief and frustration, claiming bias. Eyewitness accounts, however, added a surprising twist, complicating the investigation and raising questions about what really happened. What happened? They There was a woman, she actually, I think she the other woman. All I know, my associate paged me. They were having a fist fight in our women's department. They were knocking pushing racks around, grabbed by the hair, we they broke it up once I told them I was calling the police. Okay. Um and I thought the one to the bathroom. I was like, you know, are you okay? She's like, don't talk to me. Yeah, they didn't want to talk to us. Okay. Is there any of their property inside you? Young lady might have a purse. Okay, we got it. We got something like hair. There's some of the leaves are on the ground. I saw there's some weave here. Yeah. So, did you see kind of like Oh, she has her purse. Okay. Did you see who's kind of like instigating the whole situation or I do not like I have an associate that I don't I can grab her if you like. She's willing to write out a statement. I can ask for. So, did you actually see the fight? I did. The girl with blonde hair, she was just looking at pants in the Kieran's aisle and my family was here and hit her. Then they started Was it like a close fist? And then the aisle started moving and then I paid for everything. Would you be willing to write that out on a statement? Yeah. Okay. A store associate who witnessed the incident clarified that the blown girl did not approach the other woman. The confrontation quickly escalated with both women pulling each other's hair and accidentally knocking over a nearby display. The associate noted that the blonde girl did not initiate the disturbance while the other woman appeared to be disruptive. Just hold it up for me. All right, Brandy. What's going on? When I was in the store, it was a lady. It was all black. She got in the line behind me up here. I went in here to Wings to get a cup of uh then I walked out and Marshalls and she was in here cuz I was like, "Why are you following me? Why do you have sunglasses on?" And she turned around and hit me and we got into it. Was a little boy in the seat right here in Wings. Okay. I don't know. Wings. Is that a store? It's No, it's a it's a wing place. Okay. So, you're saying someone was behind you in Giant Eagle, then Marshalls. They went to Giant Eagle while you're in the line at Marshall. Okay. And you didn't have any confrontation? No. I I I told the little boy he don't come back in. And she was like, "Um, where are you why are you talking to him for? What you saying this for?" And I was like, "Why do you have my sunglasses?" That is correct. And I went back to the bathroom and wiped my face off and walked out. And then I as I was walking out already, I got an ID from her. I'm just going to grab your bags for me. I'm trying your bags cuz I don't know if you got any out of the blue. She said she was getting followed from Giant Eagle Marshalls on the wings. Follow me from giant [ __ ] to wings with a little boy in Marshall. It was somebody with a with a blonde wig. So, how did this girl in the green dress get I don't know. That's what I was advertising. She said something to me. So, who jumped too? I don't know this person. It's on camera. Go talk to them. Go ahead. I need you to take your bags off. That's fine. I don't have I told you we got to figure out what's going on. We got to figure out a what's going on. Well, go talk to them. Correct. We're talking to everybody. Okay, cool. You have a cat you don't have any pocket knives, pepper spray? No. Okay. I'm just going to verify just like I told you you were down here. We got to find I only have so many people. Listen to lie to you. I understand. Okay. We got to figure out what's going on. Okay. You're going to have your side. They're going to have theirs. We just got to talk to everybody. Okay. I I was the picker person and walked away. Neither go right. But there was from what I understand there was a fight in the back of the store. I wasn't in the back of the store. That was it. There was no fight in the women's. Then there was another fight outside. We fought by the purses. I walked up and asked where the restroom was at and I went to the restroom and washed my face. The female ran after me and an officer got her. Okay. So, you're stating that she put her hands on you first and what you did was self and I went in the back and arrested him and on my face. You could tell I Stop I I can see scratches. She She She bit me. Are you on any medication? No. Are you supposed to be on any medication? Do you feel like you No, I don't like being followed. I don't listen. I'm just asking myself. Listen, I'm not I'm not talking about that. I'm talking about something totally different. Do you feel okay right now? Fine. I just feel like she was following me. I'm just asking you. There's a difference between feeling like somebody's following you and defending yourself. So what does that mean? What does that mean? Wait. The moment she put her hands on me, she jumped you. She She was by herself. She didn't jump me. She put her hands on me by herself. What do you mean by that? Basically, what she did? She said she So she came up to you and bit you like a zombie. Yes, she did. What happened to start all that? Why did she I asked her why was she wearing glasses? I said are you stealing? She was she had on set glass. No, she initiated the contact with me. I said, "What are you upsetting?" Brandy claimed innocence, accusing the blonde woman of striking her first and insisting she was the victim. She pointed to his injuries like pulled out hair and scratches as evidence. However, witnesses, including store employees, offered a different account, stating that Brandy was the aggressor, accusing the woman of theft and attacking her without warning. If you walk up to somebody and initiate contact interrogate them and accuse them of something. Interrogated me. Yes, I'm going to say something to her. And then they walk close and then you can punch them if she if she hits me. So you initiate the whole thing and then she gets angry and you punch her. She got upset with me. Ask her a question. She's disconnected with the world and society because most people have conversations and they get interrogated all because a police officer approach you. That's like But you initiated the contact and you instigated all that's none of your business. That's like you being okay. We'll figure that out in court. I'm not done. Would you be calm and wait? Okay. I just need your signature. This is not a admission at that. You're going to appear in court. Your court date is going to be on Tuesday. I'll give you a copy here. Thank you. You guys have a good night. West stop is right there. Brandy was formally charged with assault under Ohio Revised Code 293.13 and disorderly conduct under 2917.11 following the altercation. However, during the initial legal proceedings, the disorderly conduct charge was dropped, leaving her to face the more serious assault charge. Brandy pled not guilty to the assault and her case remains ongoing as it moves through the legal system. Ohio's assault laws, particularly 2,93.13, carry severe penalties for those who engage in physical violence without justifiable cause. These penalties can include substantial fines, probation, or even imprisonment depending on the severity of the incident. Disorderly conduct laws under 2917.11 are designed to preserve public order by punishing disruptive or violent actions in public spaces, ensuring a level of safety and civility for everyone. Brandy now faces the potential for serious legal ramifications, including possible jail time and hefty fines, all stemming from a situation that could have been handled peacefully with proper channels. This case underscores the significance of mutual respect and cooperation with law enforcement to maintain public safety and order. Following the law is essential for fostering a just and harmonious society where everyone can feel secure. What are your thoughts on this situation? That's what it looked like last night. Um, stop. On February 9th, 2024 in Ohio, authorities responded to a domestic violence incident where a woman was accused of choking her girlfriend during a heated altercation. Police were called to the scene to address the situation and I turned the Wi-Fi off so she couldn't call people to come here cuz she has done that before and basically she's inside right now and she's like we're going to leave before they get here. I ain't going nowhere. I'm a probation officer so I that's why I'm trying to just do this the right way. I don't want any other trouble. I just want her out. This is not okay. I can't go to work and help my clients when I'm also dealing with this at home. So absolutely absolutely. Does she have any weapons or anything like that in the apartment? Okay. No guns or anything? No. And you said all this happened last night. Has this kind of been an ongoing thing? Um, so that's what that is. That's what it looks like last night. Um, like I said, I have a recording of her saying like I didn't mean to put my hands on you and stuff. Just cuz she I heard her they're going to say it looks like a hickey. You're not going to get me arrested. All that kind of stuff. I literally gave her the option before I had my friend call you that. But you need to leave. Either the cops are going to come and get you or we'll take you back. But you cannot be here anymore. Like I can't about a year. We moved here in She lives here. Like she does get mail here, residency, but she also like goes back to her hometown for like You guys been dating for longer than that? Um about a year. About a year. Mhm. She's got marks on her neck from last night. Please don't come back. Like she doesn't have a car, so she wasn't going to have a way up here. I said, "Please do not come back." I was like, "It's not my responsibility." Cuz she lives 2 hours away. I was like, "It's not my responsibility. I have to take you back to your hometown. That's not my job. I don't want to be with you. Like, you scare me. And where's her hometown at? Zanesville, Ohio. Oh, okay. What's her name? Michaela. Okay. Your hands on you and stuff like that. What? So, she choked you? She's She choked me three times last night. Like, I would like get up and try to breathe and stuff and and then she would do it again. Then, did you lose consciousness at all? I did not. That didn't have trouble breathing. Where you a probation officer at? Oh, Miami County. Miami. Yep. Miami. I love it. It's crazy, but I love it. Yeah. Yeah. It's a I'm sure it's a wild. The victim told officers that her partner had choked her three times the previous night, as well as slapped her, pulled her hair, and took her phone to stop her from seeking help. Police observed marks on her neck, and the victim provided a recorded statement from the accused. Feeling unsafe, she asked the police to intervene, saying she no longer felt secure in her home. Can you So, what's going on? So, basically, we've been arguing. I went outside cuz she went outside and she locked me out the door. So, I was outside for like and I was she she she asked me to leave and I was like, well, technically I live here. I've been here for a year and I get mail that comes here. So, she asked me to find somebody who needs us in Columbus. And I've been trying to find somebody, but I don't have nobody. Okay. And then I was begging her to let me come inside. She let me come inside. She turned off the Wi-Fi cuz my phone's off and it only connects to Wi-Fi. So, I couldn't text nobody. And then she was just asking me to leave. And then I said I'll leave, but I was asking her to turn on the Wi-Fi so I can get all my arrangements set up where I live. And then by the Okay, what happened yesterday? when y'all were arguing. Not much, bro. Just the same [ __ ] Don't know. Don't know how those got there. Well, she says otherwise. So, if you want to tell me what happened, I mean, bro, we was Bro, when we was arguing, um, I'm not going to lie. I did I didn't grab her neck, but like I'm going to keep it clean with you. She put her hands on me first after it happened and I told her how sorry I was that it happened and she put her hands on me. So I was supposed to leave today. I couldn't get a ride to leave. So she got mad, locked me out. I tried to call my mom cuz I was just on the phone with my mom. Tried to call my mom to see if she could find like when we be arguing about bro. She be putting her hands on me first. Like it's like a type thing. Like I'm not going to I'm not trying to get her in trouble or anything. If I'm in trouble, I'm in trouble. Where did all this happen? Were you guys in the bed or just standing up around the bed? Sorry, I just don't Okay, you got a couch in there, too. Okay. Okay. Um, so she was asking to leave and that's what happened to us because she asked me to leave. I forget what we was arguing about yesterday. Okay. Although the suspect acknowledged causing the injuries to the victim's neck, she repeatedly shifted the blame to her, claiming her girlfriend had turned off the Wi-Fi. She also forced her to leave the house and refused to offer her a ride to her hometown, which is about a 2hour drive away. I literally recorded her saying that she was doing it and she was like, I she's like scared me. I know you were scared. All that kind of stuff. as much as me putting my hands on her. I was literally like trying to obviously get her off of me as go like that. But that was the extent of me putting my hands on her because I was like you need to get off of me. My phone. Okay. Did she know you were going to try to call 911? Is that why last night? Yeah. Yeah. Cuz I told like I think like you just did that to me and so I grab I actually went to grab my phone and she took it and I was like I just want to make sure. And she's like no you're not. So she did she did take it and yeah. So okay. But I so we are going to arrest her. Um I am also going to charge her with strangulation um for strangling you which is a felony. Okay. Um I'm just I know I'm sorry I did damage if I literally thought you understand that. Well yeah I understand that. Do you care if I see those text messages where she had told you that she was sorry for what she did to you or or that video of her admitting? After the police confirmed the charges with the victim, she became visibly emotional and broke down in tears. Through her sobs, she expressed that she never wanted things to unfold this way and that it deeply saddened her to such a situation escalate to this point. She explained how she had hoped for a resolution without involving law enforcement. Obviously, I don't know what y'all was talking about in here, but um you don't have any marks on you or anything like that from her? No, I have marks on my face. Okay. Like I have a whole scratch on my face. It's just small cuz she's just not Well, would you say that was from her trying to get you off of her from choking her? Well, I'm not going to lie. But she did put her hands on me first. If you weren't choking her that bad, she would not have marks on her neck like that. I was not I really was not choking her like that. But it could have been the way she moved or anything. Well, unfortunately, Michaela, we have a duty to step in. Okay, this is domestic violence. Okay, I said we have a duty to step in. We have an obligation whether she Why is it me? If if she put her hands on me, too. Why am I the only one going to jail? I need you to stand up and come with us. Can I call my mom? Listen, we have other things that are popping off in the city right now, too. So, okay. Camera's laying there, sir. I already explained her everything. Violence like Alexa does not put her hands on me, bro. So, you got to get a right there. Yes. She told me I need to hurry up and call you. [Music] Well, I understand this is your you live here. Okay. I'm not saying that you can't live here. That's fine. Can we just go? Yeah. Okay. All right. Um, when the police informed the suspect that she was going to be arrested, she immediately called her mother crying as she tried to explain the situation and what had transpired. The suspect's next actions, however, may be distressing to some as her emotional response took an unexpected turn, reflecting the intensity of the moment. She choked me. You want to walk over here? Yeah, we'll go over here. She There's a scratch, too, but she did choke me. Mhm. And then she also slapped me in the face. I knew you guys probably would think it looked like a hickey, but I did record the conversation of her saying like, "I did put my hands on you and stuff. I will take you back to your hometown or I'm going to call the police." Like, "I need her out. If I don't respond, I I need you to call the police within x amount of time." So like cuz in and I even locked her outside for a little bit just to try to see if her mom would come and pick her up. Something like that. Her mom's not going to come pick her up. She resisted the officer's attempts to deescalate the situation, becoming increasingly emotional and uncooperative. Despite their efforts to calm her, the suspect's distress only heightened, making the situation more challenging for the authorities to manage. The woman's actions not only violated Ohio's domestic violence statutes, specifically chapter 2,919.25, 25 which makes it unlawful for individuals in a domestic relationship to commit acts of violence against one another. The act of strangulation in particular is classified as felonious assault under chapter 293.1 of the Ohio Revised Code. This offense is considered highly serious due to the potential harm and danger it poses to the victim and is punishable by a prison sentence ranging from 2 to 8 years depending on the circumstances and severity of the assault. In addition to these charges, the suspect's behavior during the arrest further complicated the situation. By resisting the officer's efforts to deescalate and ultimately detain her, she violated chapter 2,921.33, which criminalizes resisting arrest. This charge can result in additional legal consequences, including the possibility of further jail time or financial penalties. This case highlights the importance of mutual respect and cooperation with law enforcement to ensure public safety and order. Upholding the law is key to creating a just society where everyone feels safe. Share your thoughts in the comments below and don't forget to subscribe for more insightful content. Thanks for watching and for your support. Stand up. Put your hands behind your back. Stand up. Do not resist. Roll over. Not resist. Okay. Don't make this any worse. And you've already made it. Not resist. Put your hands behind your back. Do it now. Put your hands behind your back. On September 21st, 2023, airport officers responded to a violent incident at a restaurant in a bustling airport. The suspect, a younger woman, had vandalized several nearby businesses and launched a shocking assault on an elderly woman. I was just walking up and you hear this loud dang and I guess a younger woman put this elderly woman in the face with a phone heard. Then the woman went and spit somebody else's face and a bunch of us were trying to contain her. Individual hit two people. Did one person spit in another one? One, spit in the other. Okay. And both of them were she spit on her and then knocked her with a cell phone. Okay. Of course, she was like in the way, but you can turn this up. She's screaming and yelling at her right here. She did take the face of her cell phone and that's what hit her. So, right here is when she walks up to her and hits her. That's where she hits her and then she kind No, she like she punched her with her with her hand. Yeah. if you slow it down. Glasses. And then she looked like she was trying to find somewhere to hide because we were all Eyewitnesses reported a disturbing incident where a woman struck an elderly person in the face, causing a small cut. Tensions escalated as bystanders intervened. The woman's erratic behavior continued as she spat in someone's face and knocked over items while trying to blend into the crowd to evade authorities. Okay. Is that video something you're able to possibly send to us? And then this is where she's got glasses on. And you can't tell right here. This is she was kind of in the way, but this is where she hits her. Right here. He's in or right here. How long is the video? Very angry. She had over the beginning. Um here I was gone after it. Have somebody come through and knock all this off. We have a picture. Was it a woman? You sure? I need to see a picture of she looks like this. Police reviewed video footage provided by witnesses at the airport, which initially appeared to be crucial in their investigation. However, rather than shedding light on the current incident, the footage unexpectedly aligned with and supported her involvement in subsequent criminal activities, further complicating the case. Hi, ma'am. My name is Officer Link with the airport. Please you go ahead and stand up. Stand up. Put your hands behind your back. Stand up. Do not resist. Roll over. Do not resist. Okay. Don't make this any worse. You've already made it. Do not resist. Put your hands behind your back. Do it now. Put your hands behind your back. Give me your hands. Was it the store at the Put your hands behind your back. Do not resist. Or was it one resist? Stop resisting. Resist. You're making this more difficult on yourself. Roll over onto your stomach. Do it now. Do not resist. Do not resist. Stand up. All right. You going to bring my car with her? Come on. You hang out there. She's She wants to do that. That's That's her thing. Is she singing an officer? Hey, you want to sit up in a chair with me in a chair? Let me in the [ __ ] chair, [ __ ] After a short search, officers found the woman seated in the waiting area near one of the gates. They consulted the victims to determine whether they wanted to press charges. Despite their reluctance, the officers proceeded with an arrest, charging the woman with disorderly conduct. Yeah, I understand that. I understand that. And you can relax. Who Who's not relaxing? There's no need for pulling away. There's no need to language. Pulling away. Okay, you are. I'm not playing games here. Put your feet on. If that's what you want to do, calm down. A vehicle since you don't want to walk. I don't have a wallet. Where's your ID at? I don't have ID. Let's go. Walk into a car. Stand up and walk. Get a chair. No, you only walk. Y right now I'm walking that way. [Music] That's right. That's right. She's good. She's out of Okay, push me out. Second count. Disorderly. Why are you going this way? All right, we can take the elevator. Why can't we go through all take the take the elevator? So on the anniversary for disorderly conduct. So what does disorderly conduct mean? What does disorderly conduct mean? After being handcuffed, she remained defiant and uncooperative, showing clear disdain for the situation. Her resistance escalated to the point where officers were forced to restrain her further by tying her up. Eventually, they had no choice but to escort her in a wheelchair in order to remove her from the airport. All right. What we're going to have you do is lean over the hood of this car. She's going to search you before you go in the patrol car. Do you have any questions? I don't want I have a guy who I want her. I don't want to break the number 400. Okay. Well, don't resist. Don't damage your glasses. I'll damage your back. Okay. We're going to help you sit up. We're going to put you in the car. Do not drag your feet. Walk to the car. [Music] We're going to get 45. Nope. We're not. I don't damage my Okay, good. Yeah. Okay. Get him. Feet on the floor. Sit up straight. They're in my hair. My bad. You got to go. There you go. Sit up straight. Watch still. Throughout her arrest, the suspect resisted officers by pulling away, using foul language, and attempting to evade detention, leading to additional charges of resisting arrest. What started as a case of disorderly conduct soon grew into a list of serious charges, including elder abuse, resisting arrest, assaulting a first responder, and vandalism. Wait, did you get her hand, guys? Okay. here. Oh, y we might not be able to drag her out of the car. The hobbles in the front [Music] door. You have the door crack. I'm just going to drag her through like I did before. [Music] I take out of this shovel so you can walk. You going to walk for me? No. Buckley here. Huh? I was just saying with me and Buckley trying to get out. You have to. I'm just a Can you use your work phone? He said, "Why are y'all so mad?" He's actually [Music] The woman's arrest marks the beginning of a complex legal process. Based on the charges filed, she will likely face multiple penalties if convicted. Her actions violate several key laws, including assault and disorderly conduct. Under chapter 784 of the Florida statutes, assaulting an elderly person is classified as aggravated battery on a person 65 years of age or older. Carrying penalties of up to 5 years in prison, and fines up to $5,000. The law emphasizes the protection of vulnerable elderly individuals, making offenses like this more severe. In addition, the woman is facing charges of resisting arrest covered under chapter 843, which pertains to obstructing or opposing an officer without violence. This charge could result in up to one year in jail or fines of up to $1,000. Vandalism governed by chapter 86 brings penalties that vary depending on the damage caused, but it can lead to imprisonment and restitution payments. In summary, the woman's violent and disruptive actions at the airport come with serious legal consequences. She now faces charges including elder abuse, assault, resisting arrest, and vandalism, each with significant penalties reflecting the gravity of her behavior and the legal protections in place for vulnerable individuals in public spaces. This case underscores the vital importance of mutual respect and cooperation with law enforcement to maintain public safety and order. Upholding the law is essential for fostering a just and harmonious society where everyone can feel secure. We invite you to share your thoughts on this situation in the comments below. You're going to hop in the back of my car and we're going to drive over to the middle school. Is that cool with you? Oh, do you want your shoes? It's up to you. No, it's up to you. Whatever. Then we're going to take you to the gym. All right. We're going to be cool. We're just going to go sit back down where we were. I'm not relax. It's okay. The woman Kayla was pulled over by a sheriff's deputy for erratic driving, speeding, and crashing into a road sign. She explained that she had been fired from her job at a restaurant and was emotionally distressed. The reason I'm stopping you is because like you're driving kind of erratically, like you're all over the roadway speeding up. Okay. What's going on? I got fired from my job. Okay. Um, I was there for 4 years. I worked at Shuckers. I understand. I understand. Hey, so where are you coming from? Where did you Did you just leave from Walmart? I offered him and said he could I said he could um follow me home and everything. So, yes, sir. Hey, do you realize that you have been involved in a traffic crash? I didn't think it was that bad. Yes, sir. You didn't think it was that bad? Hey, is it in park? Yes, sir. Hey. Kayla stated she had come from Walmart where an officer told her she was good to drive. However, her ratic driving suggested otherwise. She also cited emotional distress from her recent termination as the reason for her reckless behavior. I don't even want like you ran you ran the pole slap over. Yeah. I didn't I didn't have any any way for him to follow me home. So Oh man, I'm like five minutes three minutes from now. It's bad. Hey, do me a favor. Turn around. Just like sit your butt up against there. Grab my Yeah, grab my purse. Pock it. It's got like a little green uh thing to it. I think I see it. Yes, sir. Have you have a an ID card or a driver's license? It's in my purse. It's in your purse. You just called her in not too long ago. Yes. So, you're not under arrest. Nothing crazy is going on yet. You have the right to talk to a lawyer and have him or her present with you while you're being questioned. If you cannot afford to hire a lawyer, one will be appointed to represent you before and during any questioning if you wish. Do you understand your rights? Sure. Will you write to mind? Do you wish to talk to me? Yes, absolutely. I've heard. So, Miss Kayla, like do you have you been drinking today? Have you taken any type of illegal narcotic? Um, hey, do you have any medical conditions that affect your balance? What? Like from nervous? I get it. I'm just I mean, I'm not nervous, but I'm just like, okay. Well, this here is deputy. You're right. You dealt with him a little bit earlier. Do a couple little brief exercises and uh just to make sure that you are good to drive. Okay. Well, we'll get there once we pass this part. Okay. Are you doing to conduct field sobriety exercises? Yes, sir. Whatever you need. Okay. You're going to hop in the back of my car. Okay. And we're going to drive over to the middle school that poo you. All the way in the back. I'm the last car. That's all right. So, I'm going to have you on the passenger side over here. On the passenger side. I got you. I am going to grab your bait from you. All right. Yeah. No. All right. Yeah. Go for it. All right. Nothing there. Nothing there. Nothing there. here. As the conversation continued, deputy asked Kayla to step out of her vehicle, noting she had been involved in a minor crash with a road sign. Kayla initially downplayed the incident, claiming the damage wasn't severe. To make matters worse, a field test by deputies confirmed signs of impairment, reinforcing their suspicions. Uh well I got in my car I have a pure test like a okay like especially this spot 65 28 just had that. Uh yeah. Yeah. Uh double back. The deputies confirmed the presence of Fentel in her possession. This discovery elevated the severity of the charges against her as fentinil is a highly controlled and dangerous substance. And I'll have you stand right about here and I want you to face me. You can relax. ABC done this before. No, I've never in my life done. Really? Are you comfortable walking in those shoes? Um, I can try. You can try. Would you rather go barefoot? Uh, high school. Okay. Really? Yeah. Really high school. Yeah. All right. Hey, can you grab this in for me? Absolutely. All right. Hey, walk that way. All right. We're going to put it straight down. Okay. Yep. I'm just making sure that this is Okay. Now, for for this exercise, a key moment in the interaction occurred when Kayla admitted to using narcotics earlier in the day. Although she denied consuming alcohol, her admission heightened the officer's suspicions. They proceeded with sobriety tests to assess her ability to drive, but her poor performance raised sufficient concern, leading the deputies to conclude she was likely under the influence. you. No, it's up to you. Whatever you're most comfortable with. The shoes is hot. Okay. Yeah. I don't want you to burn your feet. If you But if you want to go barefoot, get barefoot. You don't want it. It's up to you. I'm not so Okay. What happens? All right. You put your hand arm down by your side. Okay. Let me try barefoot. Okay. Whatever you want to do. Yep. Left foot in the line. You put your right foot touch heel to toe. 706. I mean, all right. So, whatever I tell you to begin and then you're going to take a series of small steps to turn yourself around and take nine steps back. Bad or mean? No, no, it's okay. Okay. If you messed up, just keep going. one. Well, we got to do his exercise first. So, this is the one leg stand. Okay. So, for this exercise, we're going to stand kind of how we were for the whenever I was checking your eyes, right? Put your hands down by your side like this. Okay? And I want you to look straight ahead. Okay? Do not move from this position. Okay? Yeah. Whenever you're ready. All right. Whatever 6 ines is to you. Okay, you can stop. Based off everything that I've seen. Yeah, I do believe that you run under the influence of something. Kayla's struggle with the test walking in a straight line, balancing on one foot was evident. Her nervousness, emotional distress, and possible drug impairment led the officers to believe she was not fit to drive, resulting in her immediate detention. I'm going to take you to jail. All right. Are you serious? Yeah. Come here, Kayla. Don't walk off. Don't walk off. I'm not leaving. We're going to be cool. We're just going to go sit back down where we were. I'm not. It's okay. All right. We're going to walk back to where you were. Okay. We're just going to sit back in the car. I'll grab them for you. No. While being arrested, Kayla became more emotional, apologizing repeatedly and explaining that she didn't intend to cause any harm. Her reaction to the arrest was a mix of disbelief and regret as she likely realized that her bad day was quickly turning into something far worse than she anticipated. Kayla's actions have led to multiple legal violations. Driving under the influence of drugs not only endangered her own life, but also the safety of others. A federal DUI is classified as a class B misdemeanor, which can result in up to six months in jail, 5 years of supervised probation, or fines as high as $5,000. With her failure in field sobriety tests and admission of drug use, her defense in court seems uncertain. Further complicating her situation is the possession of fentanyl. Under federal law, simple possession of a controlled substance, even in small amounts, can result in a misdemeanor charge with fines starting at $1,000 and potential imprisonment for up to one year. However, since Kayla was found with fentinel without a prescription, this could escalate to a felony, affecting her criminal record, future employment, and personal life. Despite the serious consequences, we hope she gets the support she needs. This case underscores the need for mutual respect and cooperation with law enforcement to maintain public safety. Following the law is key to building a just society where everyone feels secure. Share your thoughts in the comments and don't forget to subscribe for more informative content. Thanks for watching. The situation took a critical turn when the boyfriend then charged the officer. What the [ __ ] are you doing? Get the [ __ ] away from me. Get over here. Get the [ __ ] away from her. As tensions continued to rise, the situation became increasingly volatile. The boyfriend's aggressive behavior showed no signs of deescalation, prompting one of the officers to take decisive action in an effort to prevent further escalation and ensure the safety of everyone involved. The officer used a stun gun to subdue the man. He just lost his job. All right. He just lost his job. I can't afford to lose my job, guys. Please. Please, I'm going to lose my job. Have a seat in here. I'm going to lose my job. Please don't. Please, I'm not going to run. Why would you guys handcuff me? I wasn't running. All right. After officers secured the scene, they asked the woman why she called 911. In a surprising admission, she revealed it wasn't for safety, but to scare her boyfriend during an argument. She hoped the police would intimidate him into calming down. Now, the question remains, what consequences will she face for misusing emergency services? I need to know what's going on, please, sir. You're being arrested for two resisting an officer. I wasn't resisting, sir. I have to go to work at noon. That is resisting an officer. Police report which caused us Hey, he wasn't. The woman in the police car continued to scream, repeatedly asking why she had been detained. Despite the officers providing her with a clear explanation of the situation, she quickly shifted to denial and refused to cooperate, further complicating the process. Her disruptive behavior persisted, making it challenging for the police to proceed with their duties. What is your name, sir? That's I'm not. Please, I have to go to work. Okay. I'd like to talk to an officer. Okay. What would you like to talk about? We're not going to take you to the hospital because you're going to go to jail. So, really? Yep. We're still working through that. But, wait, why am I going to jail? I told you that. The woman became increasingly emotional, pleading with officers for a release, citing fears of losing her job. She was the only one who could open her workplace that morning. More concerning, she revealed that her baby was still inside the apartment. But as her distress escalated, the situation took an even more alarming turn. The woman now faces several charges stemming from her actions, with the most significant being filing a false police report. By knowingly providing false information to 911 dispatchers, she triggered an unnecessary emergency response, wasting police resources and potentially putting officers in harm's way. Under Wisconsin statute 946.41, 41. This charge is punishable by up to nine months in jail or a fine of up to $10,000, emphasizing the seriousness of mysterious nuzing emergency services. Additionally, she has been charged with obstructing an officer for repeatedly refusing to cooperate with law enforcement during their investigation. Her actions delayed the officer's ability to perform their duties, which constitutes obstruction under Wisconsin statute 946.41. This offense, like the false report charge, carries a penalty of up to 9 months of imprisonment or a fine depending on the severity of the obstruction. The third charge, disorderly conduct, comes from her behavior during the incident, which included shouting, refusing to comply with lawful orders, and causing a public disturbance. According to Wisconsin statute 947.01, this type of disruptive can result in a fine of up to $1,000 or a 90-day jail sentence. This case underscores the importance of mutual respect and cooperation with law enforcement to maintain public safety and order. Okay. So, move so I can close the door and get out of it. Where the at? Okay. So, now the car. [Music] On October 4th, 2023, a police officer responded to a call about a woman refusing to leave her social worker's car. The police swiftly arrived at the hotel where the incident was occurring. He decided to go somewhere else. I said, "Well, you need to start calling like friends, family, whoever, you know, to try to figure out like where you're going to stay cuz we don't do placement after they're 18." And I'm like, "Dude, I don't know what to tell you. You know what I mean? Like, work on so where do you want me to take you?" And I said, "I have to take you somewhere." And she's like, "Well, just take me to the office." So, I'm kind of like stuck because she doesn't have any money. So, they leave on Sunday for a warrant that she cut out and battery on the officer as well. What's her name? Yeah, I know who she is. Yeah, I I heard that. She um but I took her there to get her stuff. She got her stuff in there and she that's who she's blaming that took her all her money. I told her the situation. That's her calling right now. She said, "Well, you've been here because the social worker explained that she had taken the suspect to look for a job because the organization no longer provided housing for individuals over 18. However, the suspect showed unwillingness to cooperate." The social worker also mentioned that the suspect had a warrant for assaulting a police officer. Subsequently, the police approached the suspect to address the situation. Nothing at all. I'll talk to you later. All right. You don't need to talk to me, but you do need to get out of the car. Okay. All right. Later. Get out of the car. Can you get Yeah, I don't need a goodbye. Just unbuckle and get out, ma'am. You can't stay in here. I already asked to go back to the CD office. The officer persistently handled the situation politely and professionally. However, the suspect jaw was arrogant, refused to cooperate, did not provide basic information, and demanded the police to leave. And I don't know you. Yeah, you don't know me. Okay. I know you're 18. I'm not 18. You got that, bro. How old are you? How old are you? Doesn't matter. All right. Deja's behavior could be charged under Texas Penel Code 38.02 for failure to identify. According to this code, a person commits an offense if they intentionally refuse to give their name, address, or date of birth to a peace officer who has lawfully arrested them and requested this information. If the person intentionally provides a false name, resident's address, or date of birth to a peace officer during a lawful arrest, lawful detention, or when the officer is good reason to believe the person is a witness to a criminal offense, they are also committing an offense. I have a lawful reason right now to identify who you are because you're not getting out of a state vehicle. And if you get the out of here and get the away, I'll step out of I just put your last name. I don't know. You really want to go to jail. Unbuckle and I'll step out of the way. I'll step out of the way. No, you need to back the I'm telling you right now, D. No, I need you to back up and respect my space. Get this away from me. So, go ahead and start unbuckling now. There's no need for threats here or you try to talk to me. Okay. Goodbye. All right. So, go ahead and step look for stepping back. The argument continued to escalate as she refused to comply with the officer's requests, including unbuckling her seat belt and exiting the vehicle. The officer attempted to explain the situation and asked her to exit the car multiple times, but she steadfastly refused to move and demanded the police to back off. When police officers ask you to comply with directives such as unbuckling your seat belt and exiting the vehicle, you should cooperate and follow their instructions. Refusing to comply can lead to serious legal consequences, including being charged with resisting a public officer. Keeping a calm demeanor, listening, and following police instructions can help reduce tension and ensure that the situation proceeds smoothly. If you feel that your rights are being violated, you can seek legal assistance after the situation is resolved. You don't need to talk. You just need to get out of the car. Don't talk to me. Get out of the car. When I talk to my case worker and you're gone, cuz she called for my assistance, then I'll call for another officer's assistance. You can call them you want. You want me to call you up? I'll get you one right here, right now. Out of the car now. Get on your business and get the out of here. Get out of the vehicle. No. Deja, I'm going to tell you right now, you're going to get out of the vehicle for what? I'm not arresting you. I'm just telling you you she doesn't want you in her vehicle. I don't want you near me. It's all the ass. I don't want you near me. The girl repeatedly refused the police officer's request to exit the vehicle. It can be seen that although this could have been a minor issue resolved politely and calmly. Her arrogant attitude worsened the situation. Reason I'm still in his car is because you are here now. Okay. Well, get out. I'm going to go to my car. up. I'm telling you right now, [ __ ] Get out of the way. I am out of the way. Okay, so I'm going to walk to my patrol unit right now. Go the ahead. I don't care. Get all your stuff and get out. You know, you don't need to physically get me out of the car if I've been out of the car. Okay, so move so I can close the door and get out of She don't want to talk to you. If she did, she would be talking to you. She wouldn't have called me, right? Well, you could do that out of the car. You can let my case worker tell me what the up. She's going to tell you right now. Do we want her out of the car? So, get out of the car, please. Okay, I'm out of the car now. Back away from me. I'm over here. get all your stuff and get out of the car. The officer persistently asked her to exit the car and even reassured her that she could speak to her colleague without law enforcement presence. However, it seemed she received too much leniency, leading her to believe she was above the law. In this case, the officer's behavior demonstrated persistence and professionalism in trying to diffuse the tension with gentle and persuasive words. However, while handling the situation gently is necessary for fostering cooperation, the officer also needs to show firmness when necessary to ensure everyone complies with the law. Actually, not cuz if she doesn't I was already told that it could be stayed in the She has a bunch of stuff in the back. My boss says that it stays. Are you okay with her taking it to the office? Are you okay with taking it into the office? No, I'm not. What do you have that you could take on you right now? I'm waiting for you to leave. Okay, then get out of the car. Get completely out of the way so she can leave. No, I don't care what you need to walk over and do. Walk over and But when I come back, I don't care. When I when I come back, get out. Don't step to me. Finally, the officer could no longer tolerate her resistance and arrogance, forcibly removing her from the car and arresting her. Although this seemed like the end of the drama, the ensuing chaos was even more intense and dramatic. Don't touch me and don't put your hand. I touch you. I'll tell you right now. Don't put your hand in my face. All right. Okay. So, now the [Music] car. When the police arrested her, she resisted and continuously screamed as they approached the patrol car. The situation became more complicated as she began to resist more fiercely. This action pushed the situation to a new level of tension, making it harder for the police to handle. I want to emergency. Can I please? Yeah, I'll bring it over here. Can I die? Can I please die? Can you not? Yeah, you'll talk to her in a minute. Can you please don't put your legs in? No. I have to my head. [Music] Clearly, her behavior exceeded the norm and could be charged with resisting arrest and assaulting a police officer. Specifically, Texas panel code 38.03, resisting arrest, search, or transportation. A person commits an offense if they intentionally prevent or obstruct a peace officer from affecting an arrest, search, or transportation of the actor or another by using force against the peace officer. This offense is classified as a class of misdemeanor, which can be punishable by up to one year in jail andor a fine of up to $4,000. Assaulting a police officer, Texas penult code 22.01, assault. Assaling a public servant is considered more severe than assaulting a regular person. If someone intentionally, knowingly, or recklessly causes bodily injury to a public servant while they are performing their duties, this offense is classified as a class of misdemeanor or can be elevated to a thirdderee felony if there are aggravating factors. Don't you guys like that? I can't do that. Please just stop. It's going to put her in mind so you don't put the It needs to be bubbled up. Stop resisting. Okay. Much lack. [Music] With her continuous resistance and attempts to exit the patrol car multiple times. Officers had to increase control measures by using additional equipment like the wrap restraint system. The wrap restraint system. It is designed to restrain individuals who are resisting without using excessive force or causing injury. This system includes straps and soft materials that safely secure the hands, feet, and body of the individual, limiting their ability to move and resist. The wrap ensures that the restrained person can breathe and maintain normal blood circulation, minimizing the risk of severe injury. Do you understand? Calm yourself. Stop here. No, you're not. You're still screaming. I will bring her over here. [Applause] No. No. It's not right. It's not right. I'm trying to keep my [ __ ] cool that y'all want your partner. Doesn't matter. Before you got there. No, I have it. You haven't. Despite numerous warnings, she continued to scream and aggressively try to get out of the car, resulting in her hitting her head and being taken to the hospital. In the body cam footage, it's evident that upon arriving at the hospital, she continued to scream and was uncooperative with medical staff and police officers. [Applause] [Music] After being examined and confirmed to have no serious injuries, she was transferred to jail where she would face charges and await further legal proceedings. She was charged with failure to identify resisting arrest and assaulting a police officer. DJ's case serves as a lesson emphasizing the importance of compliance and cooperation with authorities. Her actions not only caused disruption and further complicated the situation, but also put herself at risk of injury and serious legal consequences. To avoid similar situations, the advice for everyone is to stay calm, follow police instructions, and cooperate respectfully. Such behavior not only protects your safety, but also helps resolve issues quickly and efficiently. Thank you for watching today's video.
