Liberty was transported to a local hospital for medical clearance before being transported to the Bvard County Jail. According to the report, while twisting and pulling away from the officers, she struck one with her elbow. She was initially charged with battery on a law enforcement officer, resisting arrest with violence, DUI causing property damage, and reckless driving involving alcohol or a controlled substance. She entered a plea deal for two charges: battery on a law enforcement officer and reckless driving involving alcohol or a controlled substance. Her adjudication was withheld and she was sentenced to 12 months of probation. She was also ordered to pay a total of $1,534 in fines, complete an in-person 10-hour anger management course, and complete 50 hours of community service with the option to buy out half at $10 per hour.
