video i have for today
is an incident where officers were
dispatched to an area
on a call about shots fired and while
they were
in the area investigating the shots
another call came in
about a woman who was rolling around in
the snow
and acting strange so the officers
quickly checked the area where the
gunshots were reported
just to make sure nobody was hurt and
that there was nothing going on
and then they diverted over to where
this woman was
what you'll see is a person who appeared
to be under
the influence of some form of drugs or
narcotics
and she was acting a little bit out of
sorts
it was very cold outside the officers
were wearing their coats and jackets
and she was complaining that she was hot
and taking off her
jacket and later on the video trying to
take off more of her clothing
she attributed this to uh well i'll let
you watch the video and you can see what
she was blaming on being hot
so the officer spoke to her for a little
bit asked her some common questions
about
you know what day it was where she was
where she lives her name
she was able to answer all those
questions so while she was intoxicated
she appeared
that she was in a condition that she
could actually make it home so the
officers told her to walk home
then one of the officers decided to
stick around and keep an eye on her
and she didn't quite make it home so the
officer stopped and talked to her a
second time
and that's when he decided to call for a
medic to come look at her
the medics came by spoke to her ended up
getting her home
so everything worked out in the end i
just thought this was an interesting
interaction between the officers and
this citizen
the type of thing that people don't get
to see every day and i
wanted to share it with you so with all
that being said

and he just got his lights off which way

saw the shots
then you saw the camera i didn't see the
shots i just heard it and then i seen
