hey guys I want to hop on real quick and
remind everybody that coming up pretty
soon here on November the 16th
2024 I and a group of very close friends
of mine will be stepping off on a 50
mile Rock March we're doing this to
bring awareness to mental health issues
for military and First Responders as
well as to raise money for mental health
treatment for military and first resp
responders as they deal with the trauma
that they deal with every day on the job
you can donate to this by going to fund
the first type in uh Todd Bates the
reason you type in Todd Bates is because
this is the Todd Bates Memorial 50-mile
ruck march Todd Bates was my machine
gunner when I deployed to Iraq back in
2003 and unfortunately he did not
survive that deployment he was one of of
my best friends one of the best men I
ever met also grew up here in Ohio in a
small town in Southern Ohio called belir
when I came home from Iraq I can tell
you that I struggled for years trying to
find my purpose uh trying to come to
grips with what what I experienced over
there with the loss and just trying to
find a new Purpose with my life after
that part of my life was over this is
something that a lot of soldiers
struggle with when they come home uh one
of the ways that I've redefined that
purpose is by keeping his life his name
his memory Al for hopefully as long as I
am walking on this planet that's where I
came up with the name for the Todd Bates
50m Memorial ruck march a portion of
that money just like last year will be
donated to his hometown football team
the belir Big Reds which something that
I'm very proud to have the opportunity
to do so I want to thank you in advance
for going to fund the first type in Todd
Bates donate a little bit of money for a
good cause thank you
