moment that we like to call a coaching moment the mail officer in this video had recently completed his training at the columbus police academy and was at this point in time completing his four months of field training the female officer in this video is his field training officer the two were on routine patrol in a high crime area and it was also an area that was particularly known for having high rates of prostitution while on patrol they observed a male driving a vehicle through the area multiple times the male was in the vehicle by himself then a few moments later they observed him driving with a female in the vehicle and then moments after that they observed him driving without anybody in the vehicle the officers watched the man park his vehicle on the side of the road and they approached him most likely with the intent of getting his identity so they could fill out a field interview report and document his suspicious activities in the neighborhood as you'll see in the video the new officer needed a little bit of advice from the field training officer on how to coerce the man to provide his identification eventually the man pretended to get his id out and use that up that as an opportunity to flee from the officers the officers pursued on foot and eventually caught the man without spoiling too much i hope you enjoyed this video i hope you learned something and i'll
