Today on Uncovered, he's beating on me so many times. Cook County don't give a because I'm not going nowhere until I know that my daughter I don't trust my child with you. August 13th, 2024. Glenn Ellen, Illinois. A mother drives away from a fight. Anger boiling, liquor on her breath with her child in the back seat. She says she's protecting him, but her actions say otherwise. Hey Bailey. So, a couple things going on. Okay. One, there's some sort of domestic incident we're trying to look into over at Brier. Two, uh, your registration is like expired and all that stuff. Okay. Um, do you have your driver's license with you? Okay. Can I see that? Did you get your leg scratched up? No. Are you sure? Yeah. Okay. Do you need an ambulance? No, I don't need an ambulance. What are you questioning for? You should be questioning You should be questioning the woman beater with a bunch of felonies over there. Okay. Do you want Do you want to tell me what happened with that? Do you want to You want me to tell you what happened with it? I'm going to tell you what happened with it. I'm going to show you. Actually, I'm going to show you. I just paid over I just paid over $1,500 to get both the front and the back windshield of my car replaced. You see it's brand new. Here is it before the front, the back, all that. Okay, that wooty woot him the same person who wants to call the police when he's the one who's been beating on me if you want to see and there's police reports up the that I'm actually I'm trying to sit here and file a lawsuit but I just enlist here is physical proof of this man literally beating on me for over the past a year and a half. I have multiple multiple cases like this. You could check at Glenn Ellen PD. You could check Cook County. I don't know exactly Bridge View. Whether you want to check Oaklan, Evergreen Park, I don't know all the different places. My baby is in the back. Oh, do you want to see something else? Do you want to see when my baby had a black a nose because of him, ma'am? So, I don't care if he wants to call the cops because he's a cheater and a woman beat her. Ma'am, I'm done. Ma'am. Yes. Do you want to step out and talk to us if she doesn't listen to all this stuff? I mean, do whatever you want to do. I'm trying to get the out of here so I'm not anywhere near this man anymore. I'm not in the wrong. He is in the wrong. So what happened? What what what escalated? What escalated? What escalated is that I've been with this man two plus years with him beating on me while he's sitting here being a behind my back. I'm sitting here thinking that, oh, when I'm going to get shipped out in January of next year, I'm going to come home to either this man sleeping with another woman or he's just gone altogether. I find the physical proof. And when I confront him about it, it's my fault. It's my fault. Now he wants to, oh, I'm going to call the cops because you want to sit there and put your hands on me. You want to put your hands on me, but when I retaliate, now you want to call the cops. When how many times has this man put his hands on me when I can show you the dates that those pictures were taken? I got pictures going back to 2022. Different scenarios. A+ scenarios. I had a major surgery on my hand because this man put my life at risk. He hit me with a car. April of 2023 here in No, in Bloomingdale, the parking lot of the Amazon Fresh in Bloomingdale. And they actually arrested him that same exact night. You could pull the records up for that, too. Um, so that that case has been dealt with, right? Right. No, it hasn't. It hasn't. It hasn't. He's still sitting here doing his domestic violence. He's on probation. He's got domestic violence classes that he has to take every Tuesday morning. He He It's not done away. It's not done away. I'm not the first domestic violence case that he has either. I'm the third I'm the third one. But I didn't know that until I finally called the cops. And then you learned that way that he has been arrested. Mhm. battery. Yeah. Have you ever been arrested for domestic battery against him? No. Okay. So, what happened tonight? You found whatever you found? I found what I found. And when I sit there and I try to talk to him, he always like just either he shuts me out, he yells at me and tells me to shut the up like it's it's my fault, or he gets physical. Okay. Were you guys drinking at all? No. Have you had anything to drink today? Nothing at all. No. Okay. So then you confront him and then what happens? So I confront him and he was driving. He's sitting there yelling at me to shut the up. Shut the up. We get over here to my house and he hit me in the face and that's when I started acting the way that I acted. I hit his windshield out because you know what? He did the same [ __ ] to me. He did the same to me. And then I'm sorry. I just I just I literally just got a little cut on my hand from the back of his windshield and the was kind of like leaking onto my hand. How did you break it? My my hand with your vape thing? No, just my hand. I mean, I had the vape in my hand, but my hand I don't know if Yeah, that was literally it. So, I don't know if y'all want to arrest me. What do you mean? Why did I break it? He did this to me. He's beating on me so many times. And guess what? Cook County don't give a cuz I can't tell you how many times I've sat there and called the cops and Cook County shows up and guess what they do? They don't arrest him. They don't arrest him. Yeah. And you know I don't So how how is this how is it okay we just let woman beaters walk around the streets? I mean I'm the third woman that he's sitting here beating on and nothing changes. So clearly it's the system. I mean let's let's look. I'm going to I'm going to look. I'm going to look right now. I'm going to look right now. The last time he put his hands on me, my daughter was a victim. My three-year-old sitting here in the back of the car was a victim because of him. Did he put his hands on you today? Yes, he did. Look. So, this was what? June 26th of this year. This is my three-year-old daughter who's sitting in the back of the car right now. He did that to her. He did that to her. Did you report that? I did. He was the one that actually called the cops. Is it okay if she opens up to you check her? She's okay. She was literally nowhere near it. But this was the last time. The last time. And you reported that, you said, right? Where is it that it happened? That happened in Cook County in Evergreen Park. Okay. Why are you back with him? I was only with him because as you can see my sticker is expired. I am trying to make the money so that I can get the sticker fixed and I was with him because his car I mean it doesn't have an expired sticker. So he has the money that is actually mine in his I don't even know. He didn't tell me. All I know is that when we work together doing our Ubers he is supposed to send me 50% of what we made in that day because we're doing it together. Yes. I get out of the car. I grab the food from the restaurant and he drops it off to the customer. So, it's 50/50 work. Yeah. I should The money that he has in his bank account right now is 50% 50% of it is mine. Okay. Um, is it okay if I run you through some tests to make sure you're okay to drive? Yeah, you could do that. Okay. Do you mind just putting your bait on for me? You said you didn't have anything to drink. Anything any medications or anything? No, I'm not on medic problems that I should be aware about. Do you need medics for your hands? No, I'm pretty sure it's just surface abrasions. You sure? Okay. If at any time you change your mind, just let me know and I can have medics come here to check it out. Okay? We want you. [Music] Inside the car, officers find cannabis and alcohol. And in the back seat, a child strapped in quietly, unaware he's being driven straight into danger. Did he hit your daughter today? He didn't hit my daughter today. No. Okay. Did he hit you today? When was this? This was before we pulled up into the parking lot of my house where I ended up getting out and I hit his windshield because at that moment I'm thinking, well, you did me. I spent over $1,500. It was after it was before. Before. Before. Okay. Before you kicked the screen? No. No. So that Yeah. No, it was before I kicked the screen. Okay. So before you guys pulled into the gate parking lot, he struck you. Throughout our our entire relationship, I have never been physical with this man. I'm not no dumb. I'm a female. I know my place. I'm not supposed to be sitting there trying to fight a man. Where the feet? He hit me in my face. Where exactly? Like over here on the side. I don't know if you can see anything cuz it kind of like grazed me and like kind of like it slid. Okay. How did he hit you? Close fist. Close fist. Watch you like that. Okay. You were sitting in the passenger seat. He was sitting in the driver's seat. And he's done that multiple times. Can you demonstrate how he It was kind of just like like shut the up like and it kind of just like graced my face cuz I was sitting back. I always sit with the seat like far back and like lean back to be comfortable. All right. So, no no physical issues, nothing like that. Right. Okay. Um, do you have any issue with your eyes? No. Okay. So, I'm going to have you look at the tip of my finger. Follow the tip of my finger with your eyes and your eyes only. Okay. Don't move your head. Okay. Uh, for this next part, uh, can you just imagine a straight line in this parking lot in front of you? I want you to put your left foot on that straight line. It's going to look something like this. One, two, three. I'm taking three, but you are going to take nine. 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9 Okay, look at the tip of your toe and count out loud. 1,00 1 1,002 1,003 until I tell you to stop. Okay. Okay, you can begin. 1 100,00 2 100 3 100 4 100 5 100 6 100 7 100 8 100 Wait, how many how many do I have to count? I'll tell you to stop. Okay. 11 100 1,000 12,000 13 100,000 22 100 23 100 You can stop. Um did you So he showed us a couple videos. Um in in one of the videos I see that you also pulled your phone out. Do you have any videos of those? I had a video, but that was after the fact that he had already hit me. That's the thing that he always does. That's the thing that he always does. Cuz I can assure you, the time that he hit my daughter, the time that he hit my daughter, he's got all the videos. He's got all the videos of me like retaliating at the fact that he hit my daughter, but he doesn't have the videos of him hitting my daughter. You know what I'm saying? No, not today. I'm saying like the last time. It's something that he always does. He's got videos recording of like the first time he ever put his hands on me, he hit me in the face and I had nose running down my chest with no shirt. He's got a video recording of that, blood leaking down my chest and everything. I've never done nothing to him. He's the type of person who will pull his phone out and start recording what you retaliate to do after the fact that he did what he did to you so that he could try to use it against you. Okay. Um, can you are you willing to provide those with a breath sample? That's fine. Did he tell you that I was drinking or something? Oh, and there's an open bottle in your That's his bottle. That's his bottle. I took it cuz I mean like you're not going to sit there. I paid for it. I paid for I bought him the bottle and you're not going to sit there and take the bottle that I paid for you. Like I mean he's done it before. I bought him a box of He tried to take the box of Go make your [ __ ] with it. Like you know what I'm saying? Yeah. But I'm I'm fine. Deep breath and blow continuously until we tell you a stop. There you go. everything. Have great lungs, man. I've actually I cut back the past two months on the smoking just so I could pass my test for the army. Okay. Yeah. So, you are at a 0.09 plus.35. Yeah. So, how much did you have to do? I literally only had like three shots and that was from bottle right there. Yeah. When he had first bought the bottle, that was like I believe it was around like 7:00. 7:00. Where did you he bought the bottle? Well, I bought the bottle, but we stopped at the famous liquors up here, and we've been doing like the Ubers all day. It was like 6:30, 7:00 sometime around. They were just like a little bit. Yeah. No, when I take shots out of a bottle, because it's a bottle, it's not a full like shot glass. I can't take the full, you know, like amount as a shot. So, right now, you're under arrest. Turn around, put your So, what's going to happen with my daughter? Because her family is in Tennessee. Her family, her family is in Tennessee. So your dad's side of the family is intense. No. I Before you guys arrest me, I want to find somebody to come and get my daughter. I don't want that. No. No. No. We'll help you. You do not trust it. I do not [ __ ] trust it. I do not trust it. I do not trust. I've been in the system. I want to call my mother. Okay. We can do that for you. So you can open up my phone right now. You can open up my phone right now and you can call my mother. We're going to work with you. Okay. We want the best right there at the top corner. Go to the bottom contact. Go down to the seat. It's gonna sound crazy, but it's my brother. He's late, so he's gonna cut it off. Did you guys breathize him, too? I want to know if you guys breathalyzeed him, too, because he shouldn't be driving home to Chicago with the amount of liquor that he drank. He drank more than half that bottle. Okay. We'll talk about the other half of the bottle. No, no, no, no, no. I want to hear And we're bringing the he want like I like I'm not playing. I'm not playing when it comes to my baby. Where is your mom right now? She's in Plano. So, she's in Kendall County. It's going to be a while. And I'm not going nowhere until I physically see that my daughter is picked up by somebody in my family. I'll wait right here. You got to sit down. Okay. Well, I'm keeping my legs out the car. So, you can't shut the door because I'm not going nowhere until I know that my daughter. I don't trust my child with you guys. I don't. I'm going to tell you right now. I don't trust my child with you guys. You were driving while you were intoxicated with your child. Okay. I'm not intoxicated. You are under the influence of alcohol. I don't care what your laws are. Your laws are stupid. You got more restrictions on weed when alcohol people on the street more than marijuana. Let's be [ __ ] for real. Very true. I agree with you. It is very true. It is very true. Is he answering? No. So then go ahead and call mom. What's her name? It's just mom. Is there anything else that you need from your car? Like your purse and stuff? Well, I mean, we're trying to figure out your daughter sitting on the back of a You're not bringing that with Hello. Can I hit it before y'all take me? No, I'm like literally stressing. No, let me talk to my mother. Let me talk to my mother. Mom. Mom. So, you can What? We're going to take her to the police station. They can pick her up from there. Is she going to stay by me? No. So, where is she going to be in this time? So, she's going to sit in a lobby by herself. Bailey J.
