Okay, we're not supposed to leave a 3-year-old unattended alone in a car outside, okay? >> I'm being cooperative. >> I understand. >> I'm asking you, can you check the cameras? I was not in the restroom for that long. So, I'm not resisting arrest. I'm just asking you to please not arrest me. Just allow for her father to at least arrive for >> We'll release her to her to her dad to her dad, okay? >> Yes, I I'm asking you I think I I know you don't care and this is not a sob story, but that what I did was use the restroom. Sir, I'm not a bad You can ask the the the the the workers at the gym. >> Yeah, take a seat. Take a seat. Yes, 1414. Hi. Do you guys have access to the cameras? >> They don't. The general manager doesn't look like he's on here right now. >> General manager's not here? And do you know if your cameras are just inside or you have it like >> We have outside as well. >> Okay. Do you remember seeing a a lady come here to use the restroom? She was like dressed in like a black hoodie, black leggings. Maybe she was just maybe like 10 minutes ago she walked out. >> she's a member by any chance? >> What is it? >> Do you know if she's a member by any chance? >> I don't know if she's a member. Did anybody I say I'm going to use the restroom or quick or >> Yeah. >> What time did she go? >> She was like a dark darker skin lady like 10 minutes ago more or less. >> Yeah, yeah. Well, it was a while back actually. It was a while back. >> Oh, no, no. I have her. She's with me. What I'm trying to find out cuz she left her 3-year-old in the car. So, I'm trying to find out how long she was gone. >> I can tell you it was definitely like at least an hour ago that I let her into the bathroom. >> But she didn't remember you? >> That she was. >> She had already checked in but I had to call him back from whatever I was doing. I don't know. >> Do you know her name? >> I'll get it now. I'll get it now. Are you the general manager here? Oh, perfect. >> Yeah, that's right. >> Actually, so I need the access to the cameras. I'm trying to figure out. So, this there's a young lady here who was driving this car. She came in here. She said she used the restroom. But she left her 3-year-old in the car. >> Camera guy. >> So, she's a like a darker skin I have her. She's in my car. I'm just trying to figure out how long was the time frame. >> The camera is this one right here but I can't This is the best service I got. >> So, what I'm going to do is I'm going to try to get the name and then see maybe if I don't know if she's a member here. >> All right, so ironically it's her who comes back to the the baby daddy. >> Okay. >> has a valid driver's license. He's on his way here. He's coming from Brickell. >> Do me a favor. >> What do you need? See if you can get >> the phone is on my uh hoodie. >> I'll unlock it real quick. >> And see if she'll give you >> any information on her? >> Yeah. Because she's being very like hesitant with me. Okay, thank you. So, I'm just going to get the name and try to see if I can make it easier. >> Yeah, if you can go up cuz I don't know when she got there. >> Um >> Yeah, it's probably the cameras probably go her going into like the lobby area maybe be better. >> It depends like if they're asking for a bathroom real quick, but let me ask the front real fast. Let me see what she look like. >> She's like a darker skin. She's short like 5'4. >> She just asked to go to the bathroom. >> She asked one of your employees was like, "Yeah, there was a girl that fit the description." She said she she did that but that was that was like an hour ago. >> have showered or something in there, too, from her bag. >> Got you. Got you. >> like she might have gotten in with a bag and showered. >> Got you. Let me see if I can find a time when she came in and kind of go back. >> Yeah. >> Hey, yeah, smells like 52 up the ying yang. >> Okay. >> Okay. Ma'am, All right. I need you to do me a favor, okay? I want to I want to get to the bottom of this, okay? I need you to help me out. I'm trying to get your I got your baby daddy on the way to pick up the baby, okay? She's okay. He's going to be able to take the vehicle and all that stuff. Now, when it comes to you, we need to find out who you are. Get your information, okay? I need you to help me with that, okay? This is not not Forget about what it's about now. We got to make sure we got everything right for the child and the dad. You're where you're at, but we need to have your information still, okay? So, that I need you to help me with that, okay? Can you help me with that? Please. >> I can't, sir. And now I really truly feel like I'm being targeted in a way because I provided that information. So, I don't understand why >> What did you give? >> making an assumption that I didn't >> Do you have a social security? >> I provided a a a photocopy of my identification to the previous office. >> Okay. And you were here at the gym? >> Yes, sir. >> Were you working out? >> I went to the restroom and I went to to shower. And and I did a light workout. In between sets, I came out to the car. I changed her diaper. My phone died. I plugged it up. I stayed in the car for 5 minutes. Charged it. Made sure it was on. Put on Sprinkles. I gave it back. I wrapped up and I came out. I live in my in in my child's father. That's not I don't I don't have a baby dad. >> Give me a second, okay? So, just to verify, you were you went to use the restroom, you know as we were doing you were using the restroom, you went to go take a shower, and then in between sets, you did a light workout, you said you went you were coming out and you were taking care of your child. >> Multiple times. I'm sorry. >> Okay. All right. >> I I The car is on. I don't even have the key on my person. The car is on. >> but but here's the thing though, you're How do you leave a 3-year-old child by her unattended, regardless if it's on or not? It's an unattended child. You understand? Oh. She's taking a shower? Give me a second. Do me a favor, move my car up so they can get me. Okay. >> Yeah, I remember. I checked her in. >> You checked her in? >> Yes, she has a membership. >> Can you tell me what time that was? >> I need the phone number so I can look her up and then I can see the check-in time. >> Her phone number. Hey, get the the old two from her. >> Her name or phone number? >> I have her name. >> I have her. We're going to call her. >> Okay, never mind. Never mind. So, I got this call cuz somebody came up to me, told me yesterday they saw all the same car, same people, and they the the guy got the member got concerned. He's like, "Oh, I saw the kid by themselves in the car." So, he goes, "I come out out of the gym and I see it again." So, that's why he saw me. He >> So, they were here for a while then cuz I checked her in at 1:02. >> Probably. >> Her name is She checked in at 1:02 p.m. >> All right. And when they leave, let's say she goes in to check in Does she have to come back and clock in or you guys just wave them in cuz you already saw them already? >> For members to check in, usually they check in. >> So, they checked in one time only today? >> She only checked in one time. >> 1:02? Okay. Can you Can you find video from that that window? From 1:02? She's saying that she's taking a shower or I mean sorry, she said she came in just to to do a restroom. Now, she's telling me one of my one of my partners that she came in, she did a workout, she worked out legs. So, if you have video of that, that would be helpful. You have her working out? >> I I can get it with her. >> Yeah. >> That's when probably she was shaking him. >> If you find that, let me know, bro. >> Yeah, I can find that. Or even if she stayed in the bathroom a lot, you know, because she walked straight to the bathroom right there. >> You spotted her? Okay. >> She was going back and forth. >> All right. Let's see if she comes out. >> She took a whole shower in there, then she had like a bag. >> So, the bag she looks like she took a shower, probably. >> Yeah, cuz if she's already 2 minutes in, I mean, unless she's getting dressed, but >> What time is it now? >> 1:03, 1:04. >> I thought it was 3 minutes later. >> Yeah. >> Hey, dad is going to come pick up the car and the kid. I think the car is under his name. >> Probably either took a shower or did work out also. >> If either one, if you could find her again, that'd be great. >> See in and out. And coming in and then going out, was her key. Let's make sure that dad brings a a seat. >> A car seat? >> There's no car seat. >> There's no car seat in the back? >> When I I did have a Google alert and like another person, they when I asked how long the car had been lost, they didn't mention a kid. They just said the it was a Honda. >> Honda, yeah. >> White Honda car? Told me the car they had they had been there the entire time that they left us. Like they locked him in, saw the car on, when they went out to leave, they saw the car on and that's when they called. They didn't mention a kid. But, yeah. >> What time was that call, you know? >> Well, that's if you can find it. >> You can find it? >> Yeah. >> But, it was on that one. >> It was probably the same thing. >> 5:30 p.m. >> What time? >> 5:30 p.m. >> What's the Did they tell you What did she tell you? >> Okay, I haven't really talked to her. The The brief that she told me is she was She was in the shower. She did She did do a quick brief workout, but in between the sets, she would come outside to carry the baby. At one point, she did change the the of the baby. She said, "I want to have to have to have to change his diaper her And it. But, um um I haven't really talked to her. I saw she still had >> Do me a favor. Do assault from what she told you. >> Okay. >> Just so you know, let me explain to you what was going on. She is She's going to jail for child neglect, okay? At one point in time, she came in here. She left the baby unattended. >> Do you know how long how long >> So, she came in at 1:00 p.m. and she didn't come out till close to 2:00, okay? She says that she did come out sometime during that time because she worked out for 20 minutes. During that workout, she said she did come out and change the diaper of the baby. I don't I'm not sure if we have that on camera yet that she came out, but either way, it's still child neglect. It could be a minute. It could be 30 seconds. So, you can't leave a car or baby unsecured in a running vehicle. I'm sorry. I mean, again, I don't know what's going on at home, but you know, she needs help. She needs help. That's baby mama. She needs help. It doesn't look like she's in some crazy state of drug or all that, but there's obviously something going on and you need to help her. That's your That's your baby. >> That's your daughter right there. This is That's your daughter, right? >> Yeah. >> You need to you know, that's is your mom. That is your mom, okay? So, there has to be some type of uh agreement that you guys have to come to comfort her out, you know, for the baby. Okay? But, she is going to jail today, okay? Um based on that, okay? >> She was charged with child neglect. Share your thoughts in the comments below and don't forget to like and subscribe.
