Oh. On the night of September 7th, 2024, Rome police in Georgia clocked a black Dodge Charger speeding over 100 mph. The vehicle, a redeye edition, a high horsepower variant of the Hellcat, vanished after officers initiated a pursuit, which was quickly called off due to the extreme danger. Moments later, farther down Turner McCall Boulevard, another deputy discovered the same Charger crashed into a hillside after a head-on collision with another car. What followed was a tragic scene that would spark national outrage and political controversy. >> Right here. >> Yeah. >> It's on fire. >> Hey, STOP RIGHT THERE. >> STOP RIGHT THERE. >> DISPATCH, this black vehicle is on fire.
