Okay. >> Got a fraudulent call. Was it last night or Tuesday night? >> Uh last last night. >> Last night. Uh the other manager who works here is friends with the the puff and play shop or whatnot. Yeah. She went over there and watched the cameras and pulled a video of one of our cooks up. Okay. >> With her wallet in her hand. >> Outstanding. >> I actually met actually had him come in today on his day off. >> They're not work for us. What are we here for? >> I don't understand. >> You can borrow the badge. Like >> I got I'm here for I want to work for hired if you want. >> Hey, you know what? Let me go get my keys. I got to go. >> They know I'm the I'm the I'm the police officer right here. >> Mayor. Okay. >> Anyways, um had him come on his day off. I like the kid. He ask him for 50 bucks. I give him 50 bucks. But $356 in charges on car, 40 bucks out of her wallet. >> Um, at this point, I'm going to walk out the back door and hand it right to you guys. >> Okay. So, let me ask you, since you're the victim in this, do you want to pursue charges? >> I've already filed a report online. >> Oh, you did already? That's going to complicate is things. That's fine. Um, >> I apologize. >> I got to make some calls and make sure they didn't get assigned to somebody. Okay. Um, so you do want to pursue charges. Okay. So, the way that this is going to go for the most part, all that stuff I'm going to need, I'm going to give you a part, email, all the footage and stuff like that to me. Um, >> now I didn't pull the footage over here grabbing it cuz it's a 6-hour time frame and I've not seen him do it. But this is the puff and play place. That's where Wallace is sitting in his hand right there. >> Can you confirm that's your cook? >> That's 100% my cook. >> Okay. 100 mand is his name. It's his bike. worked here for years. So, I don't have a license right now. So, I >> got >> So, I'm going to get a quick statement from you. Once we get all this sorted out, that can be done later on, right? So, did he give you any of the money back? We haven't confronted him. >> He does not know you're here. Does not know we've confronted him. Doesn't know we know anything. He is here. I bought him on his day off to >> How much in total did he take? >> Um 450. >> Okay. >> Plus the wallet. Yeah, that was >> the cash >> and the wall and everything. >> All right, so let's go bring him out here and we'll talk. >> Um if he can at least get some things back. >> We'll kind of knock that. That's cool. At least you get your wallet back and stuff like that. Um if he's got the cash too, then we'll >> I didn't want to wait till tomorrow and give him time to spend the money and do more damage. >> 450 in total plus wallet. How much is the wallet? >> How much is the wallet? >> Okay, so >> they're trying to get above 500, sweetie. >> No, it's not. [laughter] Now it's like 750. >> So, um, >> what I would do for the most part is Does he have any priors? Do you know? >> Not that I'm aware. He's a contract worker for my for another company that works here. He doesn't work directly for us. Works through a contract labor company. >> Okay. >> Um, I'm I'm going to make him an example out of my kitchen staff. I've had a problem with this in the past. >> Okay. >> And this is I I got to I got to show them I'm not playing with this. >> You That's up to you to decide obviously you want to terminate him or not. Okay, fair enough. That's cool. If you want to, we'll do a trespass, too, if you want him the property and never come back here again. All right, let's go talk to him. >> Thank you guys for this. >> Yeah. No, man. I appreciate you guys. You guys did all the leg work. We're just here. It >> happens about once a year. >> And I got to make sure about here. >> Yes, ma'am. >> That is very hot, guys. I'm going to touch that. Okay. >> All right. What is that? Oh, what's the >> crawfish boil? >> Yeah. >> Thank you. And I hope it's going to waste y'all's time. crawfish. I'll be the luckiest man alive. >> I can get some crawfish wherever y'all want. You let me know. >> Well, the old thing. >> Let me bring him out to you guys. I'm going to walk them out here to you guys. Is that cool, y'all? >> Yeah, I'm okay with that. Hey, you want to do that? I'm cool with that. >> I'm going hang out, though, cuz it's cold. Yes, sir. >> Hi. How are you? >> I'm good. How are you? >> Pretty good. Oh, sweet. They want to talk to you. Step outside. >> I know, dude. >> All right. So, we're going to chat. Okay. >> Yes, sir. >> Okay. So, how long you work here, boss? June. >> Talk to you. Talk to him right now. >> June of January. >> June or January. You have an ID on you? >> Yes, sir. It's in my bag. Where's your bag at? It's >> in there, sir. >> All right, let's go in there. Grab your bag. >> We can do this talking in here. It's waiting for you, guys. How about that? Hang on here. >> All right. So, here nothing. >> Okay. So, before I talk to you, right, do nothing. >> That's fine. All right. So, I'm going to read you these rights, okay? So that I can actually ask you the questions and we can actually get to the bottom of this. Okay. All right. You have the right to remain silent. Anything you say can and will be used against you in a court of law, you have the right to talk to a lawyer and have him or her present with you while you're being questioned. Yes, sir. >> If you cannot afford to hire a lawyer, one will be appointed to represent you before any questioning if you wish. Yes, sir. >> You can decide at any time to exercise these rights and not answer any questions or make any statements. Do you understand each of these rights as I have explained them to you? Having these rights in mind, do you wish to speak to me? >> Yes, sir. >> Okay. So, we've got video and evidence showing that you are using somebody else's credit card somewhere that you shouldn't be. Does that sound about right? >> Yes, sir. >> Okay. So, where where did you get that wallet? >> Found this, sir. >> Okay. So, where at exactly? >> Found it in the this restaurant, sir. >> You found it here in this restaurant? >> Yes, sir. >> Okay. So, did you know that that's not yours? >> Yes, sir. I didn't. So, why did we why did you use somebody else's somebody else's money to purchase stuff for you? >> Uh, sorry. So, I didn't know the person. I didn't know who it was. It's not like I had the knowledge that it was theirs. I didn't know. I found it just like a normal person who found anything and use it, sir. It was my bad. >> Okay. >> I give it back. >> Okay. Where is it now? >> What? >> Where's the wallet? Is it with you in your bag? >> No, sir. >> Where is it? >> It's at home, sir. >> Where's home? Uh, when pizza, I give it back. I didn't know. I found it. As I said, >> how much did you use on that card that's not yours? >> Uh, 155. >> There's a little bit more. >> And plus $55. Keep >> going. There's more. >> Credit cards have have history, but also >> Yeah. Yeah. I'm not li 150 plus of 50. >> Okay. Where at? >> Uh, I did at Puff and Play. And >> how much did you do at Puff and Play? and what 50 something. Okay, >> that's it. >> Just keep going. Okay. And then where else did you go after that? >> Uh the gas station. >> Okay. Which gas station? >> That's gas station, sir. >> The one right here. >> That's so >> What else did you use on my card? >> I got some t-shirts to buy. >> From where? >> From the gas station. >> From the gas station. Yes, sir. >> Okay. >> All right. And then what what is the wallet? Where is it at? The actual wallet itself. Uh, it says whom sir, cuz I didn't know who it was. >> There was cash in that wallet. How much cash was in that wallet? Did you Did you spend? >> Uh, no, sir. $8. >> There's only $8 in there. That's all you spent? >> Yes, sir. $8 >> is all you spent >> in the wallet. >> Okay. So, >> so at this point in time, you're lesson. >> Sir, I didn't know who it was. >> Okay. >> I swear, sir. I can give it back. I didn't know who it was. >> You're going to give it back, right? That that's irregardless of this. >> Because I didn't know who it was, sir. I had no idea. So, if I found something that's yours and I didn't know who you were, is it okay for me to use it? >> Sir, I needed Sir, I didn't know. Honestly, I didn't know who it was. >> I just found something and I used it. I didn't know. If I did know who it was, obviously I would. >> Sir, you're best being honest, telling the truth right now. I'm being fully honest with him right now. Okay. You're not as much trouble as you think you're in because you have answers question answer. >> Yes, sir. >> I didn't want to lose this guy. >> So, I don't believe that you didn't know who the wallet belonged to. Okay. And I don't believe that you just found it. I was right here and I found the water too. That's right here. Right here. >> So, it wasn't just found in the middle of the store like you just said earlier. >> No, I didn't say in the middle of the store. I said the restaurant. >> Okay. So, where specifically did you find? >> Right here, sir. I saw wallet right here. I didn't see anybody's stuff. I didn't see nothing there. It was stuff. Yes, sir. >> All right. And you knew at the time that you took that wall that it wasn't yours, right? >> Yes, it was mine, sir. I didn't know it was I didn't know who it was. I give it back. No problem. >> Okay. So, at this point in time, you're under arrest, >> sir. I will give you back, please. >> You will, sir. >> Okay. I I you I don't like I'm not the one you got to apologize to, man. It's not my wallet. It wasn't my thing, right? So, people apologizing for doing some You took somebody else's money, their hard earned. Hear me out. You took somebody else's hardearned money and spent it on yourself. >> It was I didn't know. I'll give it back. >> I'll ask if they want to talk to you and you want to talk to them, I'll ask. I apologize >> and that's fine. >> So, I really didn't know who it was. I honestly didn't know who >> That's fine. Okay. Honestly. >> So, at that point in time, what we're going to do is you're we're going to go to that house and you're going to get me that wallet. >> I'm giving you >> We're going right now. >> That's why you're coming with me right now to go get that wallet. >> I really didn't mean this, sir. I honestly didn't mean this thief. >> So, >> no, sir. Honestly, you stole. No, I'm not >> a personal employee loggers. You know that, >> sir. I didn't find Sir, I didn't went in anybody's bag. I'm going to do found it. Okay, that's it. >> Yes, I understand that. But I didn't went in nobody's stuff. >> You don't have to. >> I did. >> It doesn't matter. >> I found it right here. >> It doesn't matter. I found a bag right now. And then there's this backpack here. That's right here. I could take this, right? >> No, I didn't. I didn't do that. >> But why not? It's the same principle, >> cuz my bag was right here. I found it. I didn't do that. I didn't. >> So, are there assigned lockers here? >> No. >> No, they're not. Right. So, if somebody left something behind in that locker and you came in after and put your stuff there, does that make everything in that locker yours? >> No, sir. >> No, it's not an assigned locker. >> It's a community. >> Go with the wallet. Go with the wallet. Sir, >> you're not staying here. You're no longer welcome to the building. You did a trespass. >> I'm sorry. Watch. This is Listen, >> get your stuff. >> Okay, so grab your stuff. Grab your stuff. I don't have to say that you're trespassing, but we'll take care of that. >> Yes, sir. But honestly, didn't do anything wrong. I worked hard. >> He took somebody's money that worked hard, too. an employee. Nonetheless, a coworker. >> I didn't mean to, sir. >> Come on. >> We're not going to stand. >> I'm not arguing with you, man. >> I didn't mean to say. >> I know you didn't mean to, but that that's besides the point. >> Okay. >> All right. Before anything, cuz I'm not You don't need to tell us what we need to do. >> No, sir. I don't need no handcuffs. >> You're going to get in handcuffs right now. >> I won't run, sir. Go get turn. >> Turn. Put your hands back. >> I won't run. >> It doesn't matter if you're going to run or run. I know you're not going to run. >> I promise you. I'll catch you. >> You stole Put your hands back. >> You stole. >> Put your hands back. I'll go take you again, dude. >> Please. I need to right now. You just found it. >> Sir, we got that same principle. Papa key was my >> Okay. >> Please. >> All right. The only thing that's going to help you right now is going to be to get that property back. Okay. That's the only thing that's going to help you out. >> What does it I'm not I'm not going to take you straight to the victim. >> I didn't mean to. Honestly, didn't mean to, sir. I really didn't. >> Yeah, >> I didn't. Sir, I didn't I watch your step, >> sir. This is a mis misunderstanding. >> It's not a misunderstanding. It's somebody else's stuff. Wait up. >> Wait up. >> That's my earphones. >> Okay. I'm not going to I'm not taking them. >> What? You're taking them? I'm not. >> No, we're not taking stuff. >> I'm just making sure you don't have >> Sir, I don't have nothing, sir. >> A big misunderstanding, sir. >> A big misunderstanding. >> Sir, I didn't mean sir. >> Okay, I understand that you didn't mean to. You can tell me that you didn't mean to all day long. >> It's not going to make any type of difference. I know, sir. But it's not like I deliberately like stole someone's stuff. >> You You stole somebody's work. Their hardear earned money. >> I didn't mean they work. Do you work for your money? >> Yes, sir. I'll give them >> Okay, sir. Take a seat. >> I will after you get on the car, sir. >> Sir, sir, please. Please, sir. >> You took somebody's money, man. Sir, I give it back. I just like Please, sir. Please, please. >> I'm begging you. I have no job after this, sir. Please. >> Please, please, please, sir. >> You taking my stuff? >> No, I'm just keeping it up here for now. Okay. You can't have it with you when you're sitting in the backseat of my car. That's what it is. Okay, I understand. So, give me a quick second. Okay, let me go try to take care of some stuff and then I'll come back and we'll chat. >> Okay. >> Watch your feet. >> Watch your legs. >> Watch your legs. 432 maint forgot you're on the other side. Forgot you're on that side. Come on. >> Not taking the handcuffs off, man. I'm going to choose her. >> I'm going to go get the wallet. That's the most important thing right now. >> Just ask me. I'm going to >> I'm so need the wallet. Right. There you go. >> Yeah. >> No, it did. >> I thought it did. >> No. Want me to lock it? >> Yeah. Got it. Watch out. All right. Come on. >> It is pretty cold. Cold? Yeah. I'm not used to it either. Take a seat. >> 432 is tonight. Okay, >> I'll let you organize it your way. Okay, but that's everything. I essentially just listed exactly what I just showed you out just over here saying that I'm giving it back to you. Okay. Okay. So, there's that. You want me to tell you that he's sorry? >> Yep. That's about it. So, we're going to go take the ride. If you would let I forget his name. >> Yeah. If you would let him know. Um at least we got some of that stuff back. It's not my choice to make. >> You committed a crime. >> Understand? Understand? Understand. So, please >> whether or not you get deported is not on me. No, I didn't mean like that. It's a big misunderstanding. I'll take back. I'll give everything. I didn't know it was a big f like that. I didn't know. >> So, if it was a little felony, it would be okay. >> Sir, give back everything. I didn't know. I did something and I'm wrong and I admit it. Please, sir.
