682 is going to be Tampaia and Cleveland, Florida Golf Hotel, Charlie Alpha 31 on a white Nissan Rogue. driver. Roll down your back window, please. That's good. >> Good evening. >> Monster Bailey, Tampa Police Department. >> Yeah. >> Ma'am, do you have any idea why I pulled you over? >> No, I do not. >> Are you aware your lights are turned off? >> I did not. >> Now they're on. There you go. >> I'm so sorry. >> You got your driver's license, registration, insurance card with you, ma'am. >> All right. It's your driver's license and your registration. How about your insurance? >> Um, I think I might have >> Is this your current address on >> Um, that is my mom's. It's not my current here in Tampa, but it's my mom's address. Let me see if I can get my insurance. >> Is this vehicle registered to you? >> Yes, it's to me. Mhm. >> It should be me and my mom on it together, but yes. And where are y'all coming from? >> Um, I just picked them up from Barh Howard. >> You just picked them up? >> Mhm. >> So, you weren't hanging out at Bar Howard yourself? >> I was not. No. >> Where you headed now? >> Um, I'm taking them home. Where's your house? >> Belide. >> Channel side. That's where I'm going. You're >> going to channel side? Yeah. >> You guys, you're going the wrong way. >> My maps routed us around this like thing. up to the stop sign to the right. >> And Miss Sans, how much have you had to drink tonight? >> Um, nothing much earlier today, but not anything recently. >> All right. How much was that earlier today? >> Two drinks. >> Two drinks. Mhm. Is there a reason that your your lights are turned off? >> Um, no. I just wasn't aware. We literally just left. I just picked them up. So, I was not aware that they were turned off. Um, I would have to call her to get my >> Do you not have the uh the app? >> Um, the app for >> the app for your insurance? >> I do not on my phone. Um, >> don't worry about it. >> Miss Sans, I'm so sorry. >> Here, you going to have that back? >> You step out of the vehicle so I can make sure that you're uh okay to be driving. >> There you go. Stand right over there behind your car. I'll be with you in just a second. Is your license valid and everything? >> 71. I'm not. >> You keep your hands out of your pockets for me, please. Thank you. >> Time 027. All right, Miss Sans, >> you stand over here for me facing me. All right, Miss Sans, like I said, the reason I asked you to step out of the vehicle is based on some observations I made of your driving >> and while talking to you, I'm a little concerned about your sobriety. I want to make sure it's safe for you to be driving. >> All right. Now, do you suffer from any kind of medical problems I might need to be aware of? >> Are you a diabetic? No. >> Do you take insulin? >> Do you have seizures? High blood pressure? You taking medication for any reason? >> Not do you have any problems with your eyes? >> Do you wear glasses or contacts? >> No, sir. >> Okay. You're not blind any eye or anything like that? Now, one of the things I'd like to do to help me determine your sobriety is to check your eyes. Is that okay? >> Yeah. >> All right. Can you move the hair out of your face for me? >> Yeah. >> All right. You stand right where you're at. >> Sides of your feet touching, hands all the way down at your side, just like this. All right. Can you see the light I'm holding in front of your face? What color is it? >> Red. >> All right. Here's what I want you to do. I want you to look at that red light. >> Follow the red light with your eyes only while keeping your head completely still. Okay? >> Do you understand? Mhm. Don't move your head, only your eyes. Let's try that again. Good. Good. Remember, keep your head completely still. >> Sorry, I have it. All right, you can relax. All right, Miss Sans, listen. I'm seeing some medications in your eyes that's causing me some concern. So, what I'd like to do is continue our investigation and ask that you perform some additional field sobriety exercises. That would consist of you walking a line and standing on one leg. Do you have any injuries or physical defects that would prevent you from being able to walk a line or stand on one leg? >> Yes, sir. >> Okay. Are you willing to do those exercises for me? >> I guess. >> Okay. Um, so you can use the roadway right here. Um, just stand right here behind your car. I'm going to put a piece of tape on the ground and I'll be with you in just a second. Okay. >> It's on a It's on a slant. >> Can you just uh pull up right next to me and we'll just use this >> lane. Do you have a unit? request to a 28 report. That can be 51, but I'm coming from the area. >> Would you keep your hands out of your pockets for me, Miss? >> Thank you. You step right over here. Can you stand on that on the end of that piece of tape? Just hold it down for me with your foot. All right, you can step off of it now. Hello. All right. Can you stand right over here for me and then face this direction? You don't have to do anything other than just stand there for right now. Are you comfortable in your shoes? >> Yeah. >> All right. Now, here's what I would like to do. Okay. I'm going to give you some instructions. I'm going to demonstrate what I want you to do and I'm going to give you a chance to ask me questions if you have any. It's all pretty straightforward. I'm not going to try to trick you or surprise you. It is important though that you follow my instructions exactly. So, if there's anything about these instructions that you don't understand, just make sure you ask questions on it. Give me the chance. You understand so far? >> Okay. Now, I know this sounds like a silly question, but I have to ask, do you know your right from your left? Show me your left hand. Okay, good. Here's what I want you to do right now. Okay, go ahead and take your left foot, place it directly on the line at the beginning of the line. Now, take your right foot and place it in front of your left foot, touching heel to toe. Next, put your hands all the way down at your side, touching your legs. Then, stay in that position and don't do anything else until I tell you to. You understand? So far, I need a yes or a no from you. >> Yes, sir. >> Okay. Now, when I tell you to, you're going to take nine heel totoe steps down the line. Turn around like I'm about to show you, and then take nine heel to toe steps back. I'm going to demonstrate. It's going to look just like this. From the starting position, I want you to start walking with your back foot while looking down at your feet. Count each step out loud as you walk like this. One, two, three, and so on until you get to nine. Once you get to nine, keep your front foot on the line. You're going to take your back foot off and use your back foot to take a series of steps around your front foot to turn around. Once you've turned around, take nine heel to toe steps back. Again, looking down at your feet and counting each step out loud as you walk like this. One 2 3 and so on until you get to nine. Make sure every step touches heel to toe. Keep your hands down at your side the entire time. Don't step off the line and don't stop walking till you complete the entire exercise. Do you understand the instructions? >> I need a yes or a no from you. Yes, sir. >> Do you have any questions? All right, ma'am. If you don't have any questions and you think you understand, whenever you're ready, you may begin. >> 1 2 3 4 5 All right, go ahead and relax. >> All right, stand right here on top of that light. Turn and base my car. All right, I want you to stand with your feet all the way together. Hands all the way down at your side touching your legs. Stay in that position. Don't do anything else until I tell you to. Do you understand so far? All right. Now, when I tell you to, you're going to raise one foot, either foot of your choice, about 6 in off the ground with your foot parallel to the ground. Now, 6 in is about that high. It's about the height of a soda can. I'm going to demonstrate for you. It's going to look just like this. Either foot of your choice, about 6 in high. Notice how my foot is parallel with the ground. Both legs are straight. Hands all the way down at your side, touching your legs. Then looking while looking down at your race foot, I want you to count out loud like this. 1,00 1,002 1,003 and so on until I tell you to stop. Don't raise your arms for balance. Don't hop. Don't sway. And don't put your foot down. Okay. >> Do you understand those instructions? >> Yes, sir. >> Do you have any questions about the instructions? >> Yes, sir. >> All right, ma'am. If you don't have any questions and you think you understand, whenever you're ready, you may begin. >> Keep your foot parallel to the ground. Make sure you're looking at your foot. 2016 2018 2019. >> Keep going. >> All right, you can stop. All right, chains behind your back for me. Unfortunately, I do believe you're impaired at this time. I am placing you under arrest for DUI. All right, step right over here for me. 68215 signal email. You have female available for search. >> 682.
