I see you pass all points of sale. All right. >> [laughter] >> He's going to be happy to hear >> [music] >> How much is 5 6? A group of teen siblings were on the radar of Target loss prevention workers. They started to notice this group loading up three carts of merchandise of items. It quickly went to over $5,000 worth of goods. The Albuquerque Police Department was called to the scene to stop the shoplifting. So, just let you know, the ones carts are right by the front. Uh they're kind of just posted up um waiting, I'm guessing, for her to for the one in the pink pants to pull up so that they can run out. So, the one in the sedan is pulling up in the front and the kids uh with the carts look like they're getting ready to make their way out now. So, they'll be exiting the store here. Three two one. Right now, they're just trying to get out. Call mom. You got mom's number? Go on Facebook. How old are you? Don't answer any questions. We don't have to answer any questions. >> there's there's two ways this is going to go, ma'am. I want a lawyer. Lawyer in person. That's not how this works. So, what's going to happen is we're going to figure out who all you guys are and then we're going to call your parents. I'm going to move this hand into a into the praying position. [clears throat] Okay, then we're going to call your parents. And if you guys don't want to talk to us, that's fine. You're going to get booked in the JDC. We just called our parents. No, we are going to call your parents. Okay, you can call our parents and then what? Let them know why you're here. I'm going to call the juvenile probation officer and see if they're going to book you guys. Put this hand in the praying position behind your back. booked. I'm praying. I'm sorry, I can't put it in the praying position. Now face the wall. Okay, hold on. You got these on I'll take you, dude. You got these on like I'll take you. Oh, I'm trying He's going to fix these. You guys are facing the wall right now? Yeah, we're facing I'm just going to try and do this side, okay? What the [ __ ] I can't put it in the praying position. Okay, put them behind your back like you're praying. How come I'm the only one You're the oldest. You don't know how old I am. You guys tell you're older than those two. How do you know? I'm 1 year older. Okay. All right, have your Let's let your sibling fix you next, you guys. I got you. She's struggling to turn over. All right, I'm just going to pat you down real quick. Make sure you don't have like no weapons on you. Oh, I have pepper spray. Where where at? It's in the Which pocket? This pocket. This pocket right there, sir. In the jacket. I'm going to go and grab that. No, sit down. Could I get my phone from the car so we could or could you guys We >> car. That that there. Okay, could you please um Do you know your dad or mom's phone number? >> It's on my phone. Okay, we'll we'll get it. We'll get it. So, here, just take a seat real quick. We're going to make this as quick and painless as possible, okay? Get all your names and all your dates of birth. But do we have to answer this or can our parents answer this for us? You guys I'm telling you this is going to be the easiest way to do it. Your parents can't answer it, but we're going to have to get a hold of your parents. Our parents will answer it. Okay, I'm going to start with you, okay? First name? Don't give me your name. We have our rights to not talk. We could tell them that. So, that comes with incriminating questions. I do this every day. That comes with incriminating questions. You don't have to tell us anything if we ask you incriminating questions like, "Hey, why are you stealing today?" You don't have to answer that. >> Okay. Now, with identifying yourself, you do. Cuz if you're an adult and you're like, "I want to talk to a lawyer." One thing I would do is I'd drive you straight down, get you fingerprinted, and then book you in jail for for not telling me your name. But how did How are we How did we steal those clothes though? Cuz when we drove up, when you that car was staged out front when You guys have to >> that conspiracy of a crime though? That is that is the We didn't commit the crime yet and You had the shopping carts move past the point of >> that's conspiracy of a crime when they called the cops. Aren't How is it past the sale? Oh, that's that's conspiracy past all points of sale. How is it past the point of sale? That's lawyer. He's going to be happy to hear this. >> [laughter] [clears throat] >> I don't have the car. My Could we get our phones though? Could you guys get our phones? >> We'll get all that. We'll get that after I get your guys' information. The older sister was the getaway driver and did not know her siblings were taken into police custody. She was surrounded by police in her getaway car. Okay. Okay. You have your ID with you? Yeah, I just gave it to him. Okay. So, who all is with you today? >> Just my my sister and then her friend and then my little brother. Okay. How old's your little brother? Uh he's 10. Okay. So, he's small. Yeah, they're all they're all underage. Okay. So, right now you are not free to leave. I don't know if you could tell, but Yeah. So, you you you need to hang out. Um all your siblings are all detained inside the store. Okay. Okay. Um they're all suspects for shoplifting. Okay. Okay. Um do they live with you or do they live with your parents? >> Yeah, we do. How old are you? I'm I'm 18. You're 18? Yeah, 19. Well, just turned 19. Okay. Can you have your parents on the phone? Yeah. Okay. What's the number? Uh it's going to be 29, Frank. Okay, step out of the car. Oh, it's so loud. Okay. So, right now you are being detained. Okay. Okay. I'm going to set your phone on the car. Sorry. So, you're showing that you have a possible warrant for your arrest. Okay. Okay. So, we're going to confirm that, but right now you are detained. Okay. So, obviously you got to confirm it, but Yeah, I had a court today. Did you? Yeah. >> Okay, we'll check it out. Okay. Thank you. Thank you. How old are your sisters? Uh there's one is 14, I think. One's 10, and then the other one's 15. How old are you? I'm 19. Okay. I was just waiting for them. Oh, I'm glad you stopped cuz I was going to spike you. Oh, what is it? Oh, no. That's good. Yeah, that's good. Your car would have gotten spike belted and tires damaged and all that if you had. Oh, yeah. No, I didn't. You can look back there and walk through here. Okay. Do you want me to Is this your wallet? >> Yeah. Can I get my bag in there, too? Um where's your bag at? Uh that's going to be a little lighter. Torch. It's going to be a little That That purse right there and a little black backpack. And then a little black backpack. Okay. If If you will confirm your warrant, if you are under arrest, I'll grab them. Okay, thank you. Okay. If not, if it doesn't confirm it, I'll just let you do your own stuff. Okay, thank you. I just had court today, and then so Did you miss it? Yeah. Okay. I'm going to shut your door, okay? Are your keys Okay. It'll be fine. Nobody's going to take your car right now. Did you get my Did you get my mom's number? We'll get it from you. Do you want me to grab your purse? Yeah, it's a purse and a little black backpack. Okay. Um they won't let you take both. So, I can I can take it into evidence, or we can leave it in the car. We're not going to tow the car. Um what we're I think we're going to do is um cuz we're going to call your dad or like cuz the car >> mom cuz my dad's at work. >> Okay. My dad's out of town, I mean. Awesome. So, we'll have to get a hold of one of them. Okay. And then, um I assume they'll have to come pick up your siblings. Okay. Anyway, so we can I can get your your belongings out of there and then you can just leave whatever else in the car cuz I don't think we're going to take the car for anything. Okay. Okay? Um, okay. And then, when we get downtown, I'll give you a cigarette. Okay. Are you hot back here? Yeah. And it looks like you're sweating a little bit. You want me to crack the windows? Yes, please. Okay. Can I get a cigarette in the car, please? Um not here just cuz I don't want that my car to smell like cigarette. Can I stand with you outside? Please. You going to run away? No, I promise. Promise? I promise. I'm slippers. I got slippers on. I can't go nowhere. You might be fast. Go and step out. Okay. And just if you want to just sit down right here on the curb. I'm wearing duty with slippers. Will you I think I'm going to go. So, if I tell any more, it's fraud and then I just put it as more here. So, you you hit new offense again? You did the same do the same thing again? Okay. And then, just fill in more again. Yeah, it's just the same thing. It's a little different cuz you're doing it backwards. It's a white purse. I got it. I have what You have one, too? Do you have a 140? >> Is yours a torch? Mhm. Do you have anything else in your pockets? Uh-uh. Okay. What's this out here? What is it? >> I'm going to shut the door. That's crazy. You're so flexible that you can actually be handcuffed and still use your hands. I can't even like I can barely touch my hands. Um yeah. When I was skinnier. I do. I do. Some days it sucks, but most days are fun. What days does it suck? You ever seen a a kid killed? Yeah. Seen Seen dead dead people, dead kids. Seen people get hurt and cry and you know, having to tell people that, you know, their their kids or their parents died. That always sucks. So. Seen kids that get abused. That always sucks. You get a lot of those cases? Yeah. Oh wow. I've personally I Surprisingly I've seen so many mothers like throwing their kids in the dumpsters. Do you get a lot of those cases? Like I've seen a lot of those cases here. Yeah. Hey, where's Derek? He's inside. All right, 620 advised on this 2600 unit. What's up, brother? All right, uh voice calm down and wait. And I remind they remind me yesterday that I had court and then just for some reason my alarm didn't go off or I didn't get my alarm this morning. So So this warrant um I think was from a couple weeks ago. So it wasn't from today. Yeah, so you may >> for? What? Um it was for narcotics. So whatever you missed today Uh-huh. Um maybe while you're in jail you'll have to talk to a judge for this and maybe they can get that squared away too so you don't get a second warrant. Oh wow. I don't like I wonder what it's for narcotics. I don't know. Huh. That's so weird. What do you use? Meth. Meth. Powder or pills? Powder. Powder. I don't I haven't like I The last running I had with the law was this from this this court or from when I just got arrested. But I missed this court. So I'm pretty sure they're going to like file two warrants on Okay. So I I don't know what that was I don't know what that law is about but Unless it was the same incident they just had a different issue date. Oh okay. I didn't have anything on me that's what I mean. No. Is that not powder cheaper than the pills? Way more expensive. What's that? Way more expensive. It's way more expensive? Okay. They have been seizing a lot of it though. What's that? They have been seizing a lot of it. Yeah. They're not even doing the pills anymore. Oh I know. >> Can you save this one for me? Save it? Yeah. No, I'll give you a a different one. Just throw it on the back. Let's get you downtown and then if you want to have one down there we can do that, okay? Okay. Um Do you have Do you have my other black slipper? >> Yeah, let me I'll I'll go over there and I'll get your purse. Um >> Okay. Uh grab the little black backpack. The little back one? Is that where the keys are, too? Uh yeah. Okay. And you don't have anything else in your pockets? >> No. What? Actually, the key I don't see anything. The key is in the in the little black um No, okay. There's one key right here in my bra, actually. You have a key in your bra? >> Yeah. One key in my bra. >> Well, um is it for the ignition? Yeah. Okay. I'm going to have her grab it. >> Okay. Um that way we can get it out. Okay. Can you come get a key out of her bra? Yeah. Thank you. So, you're This is my uh my partner. Here's Mom. And you can kind of give her a rundown of what's going on with uh her daughters. Was my son with them? Yeah. Yeah. So, But he had the names. Remember when I was like, "I don't have the names." And that Yeah, there's too many. Yeah, so basically what happened was um we got a call from the loss prevention worker here. And he was telling us that there was uh a total of four individuals here. We had the older sister, Isabella. Yeah. And then uh Um they got two carts full of items. >> No, it was three or three carts full of merchandise. That's my bad. The big The big baskets full? Big. >> Big baskets. $5,100 worth of merchandise. 10634. >> What did they think they were going to do with this? Just leave it out in the car? Uh well, so No. Go ahead and uh your thing. So, Isabella, they've done it before several times. So, basically Isabella pulls up and stops right here. Right in the front, and then the other little kids run out with all the stuff, throw it in the car, and they freaking book it. Oh my god. But so this time uh they notified us that they were loading up the carts. >> Do they come here all the time? Uh well, they've done it several times. I don't know about all the time. But like I don't I don't know about all the time. Yeah. >> So, they were the loss prevention was already familiar with them. Okay. So, loss prevention called me and was like, "Hey, this is what I got going on. Um you guys mind coming this way?" So, we we were >> Is it Isabella that she's got out of trouble? I know. She's in trouble. I told her the I told her when I talked to her I said, "You know that you're on bond." She says, "No, I'm not on bond, Mom." I said, "Yes, you are. You have stipulations of your release." I said, >> Well, she had a warrant for her arrest. Really? Mhm. She just got she's she's got out of jail and we she was released on her own recognizance. So, remember like when she did go to jail for the burglary? Yeah. >> So, that's what she got to jail for. So, um it was actually me and another officer we seized her vehicle that that um Nissan. >> Yep. And I wrote a search warrant on that car and so I searched the car Uh-huh. and uh found merchandise from another um or not merchandise, but I found property from another house that had been burglarized with and it was all listed. I found all that in the car and I also found uh methamphetamine in her uh purse. Oh my gosh. So, when did she get She didn't tell me she had a warrant. She knew she had a warrant? >> She probably didn't even know about it. So, I I wrote it and then um submitted it and stuff like that, and I think she had already gotten released. Okay. So, they send her something in the mail or something? Uh I'm not even sure if they even do that, to be honest. Okay, so what are So, her charges now are What are her charges now? >> So she's getting She's getting a warrant. She's getting contributing to delinquency of a minor times three for doing this. It's her sister. I don't know which one's doing it. It's this the youngest is Sophie. Those two together. They're the Yes, they're the Yes. And did you drive your two? Um I have my husband that drove me. Okay. Yeah. >> Does one of you guys got to take that little white car? Um I You can leave it, too. Yeah, I think I'm going to I think I'm going to find their father cuz it's their car. It's his car. I mean, I I could drive it home if I'm allowed to drive it home, but I tried to call him and and text him. I think that he's either really I can't believe that he lent them the car in the first place again. Cuz I actually was talking to Timothy when we had the car and I gave the >> No, this is all his fault with my children. I know I work all day. I'm the store manager at the Dollar Tree on Course In My Veins, Bravo. Okay. And I work all day. I work like 10 11 12 hours a day. And my kids I left him a while back, of course. And my kids My kids stay with him and he totally doesn't have any of them in school. And my cousin go to school. My son He's not going to go to school now for a while. And now he's going to home school them, but he's just He lets them They do whatever they want. And Bella hasn't been at home since she just went home now because whatever happened with her last time. Yeah. But I can't They don't listen to me. And I can't I My other daughter, Maddie Elena, she's on the She's on the streets right now and she's just turned 18 and she was a high school going to graduate from high school and everything and their dad just doesn't He just He doesn't He doesn't have no rules. None. >> That That sucks. Mhm. Well, hopefully this was a big wake-up call for the kids. Yeah. I think we I I got tried to tell him he can get it. Sorry, I didn't get a chance to So, those are for the those three and then he wrote down on a piece of paper the oldest sibling. The 49ers, so you guys have all that? So, here's the key to that little white car. Okay. And your daughter, if you want to see, that's the screensaver for 14 and I think that's pretty inappropriate. Yeah, I know. This one he Yeah, I know. Oh, that's It's not I need to go So, make sure you uh get them the 49ers for the oldest sibling. I write when you told me the name is right when she walked up. So, I didn't get it right down yet. Okay, then we'll we'll get it. So, let's go ahead and get her unhandcuffed and then they can go take they can be released to custody of mom. >> are going to be getting this nice privilege very soon. Both of you guys are getting of age and I'm going to take you guys out. Bella. She's so embarrassed. So, is Bella supposed She's just going to She's She's the big troublemaker. Yeah.
