I asked for a supervisor. >> I mean, uh, like I said, you guys are asking me about somewhere I'm not even at. I'm at a gas station getting gas. >> Yeah. Well, I'm talking about where you came before this. >> And like I said, we >> need your ID. >> Can I have a supervisor? >> No, you don't need one right now. >> You if I ask for a supervisor, you have to provide it. So, no. >> We need your ID. >> Provide a super. I will call my lawyer. I mean, if we're going to make this a whole situation, >> stay in the car. >> Stand right here, man. >> Stay in the car. >> You stay in the car. Stay in the car. >> Stay in the car. >> They're not getting no ID from me. They're not getting nothing. >> I told them I'm done talking to them until supervisor comes. That is not my problem. >> All right, man. Come on. >> You got your ID? >> We're asking for a supervisor. No, I currently don't have a ID. >> All right. What's your name and date of birth? >> What's your ID? What's your ID? >> I asked for supervisor. I'm asking for your ID. Come on, man. Just make Do you understand that you guys do work for me, right? Like you guys you guys work for for the city, which I pay taxes, right? Okay. So, you guys >> pay taxes at home? >> Yeah. >> Yeah. Let me see your ID, man. I told you. Just help me figure out what's going on. We can get you on your way. We can get you on your way, man. >> Supervisor. I'm not >> What's your What's your last name? >> Can I please supervisor? >> We don't need one right now. I need your name. >> I feel like I need a supervisor. I feel like I'm being targeted for >> You're being detained. >> Why am I being detained >> for retail theft? So, I need your ID >> for retail theft. >> Yes. >> Do you have any Can we get a reporting now or something? >> Something. >> That's loss prevention right there as video of you two stealing from. We need your ID. >> Uh, I asked for a supervisor, man. I have nothing else to say. I I keep saying it. I could I have every right to plead the fifth until you guys have a supervisor come here. >> All right, you can plead the fifth, but you got to have your ID. >> So, you need to get your ID. Otherwise, that's going to be obstruction. >> So, you need to provide your ID. Actually, let me call my lawyer and then we we'll handle it that way. >> He didn't steal anything. >> Okay. Well, somebody stole something and there's there's >> my bag in the car. >> Okay. Well, then I need your ID. >> This is crazy. >> Hey, man. Do you not have an ID? Do you not have a driver's license? >> I don't answer any questions. >> This could just be a ticket. >> Yeah. Let me just I'm going just No, I don't have my ID. I have a picture. I have to turn my recording off. Yeah. >> All it is did steal something? >> Yeah, it's the bag in the trunk right there. I mean, >> and it's just a ticket. >> Yeah, it's this right here. It's >> just an ordinance ticket. I was going to say I'll take the ticket. He didn't do anything. >> Nobody's getting arrested. You're just getting a ticket. >> Yeah, he didn't do anything. That's why I hopped out the car. I don't need anything happening with him. >> Okay. >> All right, man. Let's put the phone away. >> I don't understand why we're not providing supervisor. >> Do you have your ID with you, man? Come on. >> Okay. I understand what you're saying, but I don't >> Yeah, if you understand, just take out the ID then. >> I just don't understand why I'm providing >> because I told you they're telling me that they saw you walk out with merchandise from the store. >> Okay. >> We're trying to figure out what's going on. >> Yeah, I understand that. And I'm not trying to call you no problem. I'm just saying it's the same instance though as if I say that he did that he stole something out of my car. I mean I can I can give a description. I can I can do all that. You guys are telling me I need >> breath if you said I just talked to I just talked to Cheyenne. >> This is a simple ticket. >> Um he didn't do anything. I won't talk the damn story. >> Okay. >> Thank you. I already know. He doesn't he doesn't know and he's just cuz he doesn't want to drop my ID. >> I'm going to arrest you. >> Do you still have your supervisor come please? I'm I'm requesting a supervisor and you're telling me I'm not allowed to have a supervisor. That's in my rights. >> So, we're violating my rights. >> No, it's simple for tail theft. You get a ticket. >> Babe, can you just stop talking so we can just get a ticket and go? Just shush. >> It's literally a piece of paper and you pay a fine. That's it. You don't go down the county. You don't do any of that I'm trying to solve this as easy as possible. It is a simple retail theft where I give you a court date. That is it. Because this guy's got you on video. >> Okay. I mean, but I >> I'm not just harassing you for no reason. >> And I'm not saying that. I I totally understand that. But I asked him for a supervisor. I don't like the way he spoke with me. >> We don't need We don't need a supervisor. >> But if I request all it is, it's a local ordinance to keep it. >> But it's my right. If I request a supervisor and I want one on seen, it's my right. 35 minutes, >> man. I mean, I I would like a supervisor. >> We don't. All we need is your name because you're involved in a retail theft. If you got warrants, that's that's something else. We don't care. >> Not one, but >> we're here for a retail theft. We give you guys a simple local ordinance. It's my ticket. >> Can you still have your supervisor come? I I want to speak with the supervisor. I have no idea. >> Why do you want to speak with our supervisor? >> Cuz when I call him, he's going to be like, "Why?" >> I would like to speak with the supervisor. >> I I'm going to need more than that. I don't like the way he conducted business with me or >> you can file you can file a complaint. >> Okay. But I would like the supervisor here for me to file the complaint. >> You can file it online. >> You got to do it. You got to do >> it's online. Can that way. >> So do I. So I'm going to give you my ID, but do I got to call the police to have the supervisor come? Like >> if you call the police, we're going to arrest you for misusing 911. >> We're going to go to court and you're going to make yourself look very terrible. I'm trying to save you guys some time. >> How are you saving this time, >> guys? We're going to we're going to ask you three times video. >> So plain and simple. pulled out my wallet and said, "Here, I'm going to give him my ID." >> Baby, okay. Like, can I talk to him? No. No. You can walk with me. Let me just talk. >> I just need you to stay stay here. Stay right here. >> Baby, baby, listen. Listen, babe. Baby, talk to me. Hey, man. >> I have no problem. >> Hey, man. Just listen to listen to what your girl's telling you real quick. >> Please, please, just give them your ID. >> I was giving >> You're not that wrong. This has nothing to do with you. Like, I even told them this is I did some dumb You was confused as to why they even walked up to you. Okay, just give them your ID. This one got nothing to do with you. They just need to identify you cuz you were with me. >> Okay, I'm giving them my ID. I just told him that, but I have it on video heard just saying now getting arrested for obstruction. So now I do want the supervisor to come. I really do. I'm not going to have >> I didn't know that she was saying he was getting arrested. I'm not going to ask again. >> I asked him three times to provide his ID. He then refused. So if you're going to continue to refuse, then it's going to be obstruction. So all right, we're fine now. But if you continue to do that, then yes, it's I need a supervisor here. This is >> I'll call him. >> We don't You're not getting arrested. You comply. >> We don't need that. Why are you trying to do extra stuff now? I'm trying to go home. >> I'm trying to go home. >> Go over there. Just go over there. >> I'm trying to tell him off. >> If I call my supervisor and he asked why >> we don't need him. >> I don't want a supervisor. I I personally do. >> He does not need one. >> He does not need one. What does he say he would like to do? >> He's going to want your guys' information. You guys can't come back. And then um ordinance violation. >> Okay. >> For retail. >> For retail. Okay. >> Okay. >> That's fine. Okay. That's fine. >> So, was all that stuff in those bags? >> Yeah. >> Yeah. I told you. >> Okay. >> All right. Can we grab that? We'll just have you guys sit in the car and then we'll give you guys the ordinance ticket. Okay. That's it. You ain't got no warrants, man. I want >> No, I want to speak for supervisor still. I don't care what she says. I don't want to speak as a supervisor. >> So, if I So, if I do call my supervisor, what am I going to tell her? that I would like to hear. I would like to speak with him more than that. >> For what though? >> For what? We're leaving with a ticket. So for what? Why are you calling him if what she said? It doesn't matter what she said. Clearly, right? It don't matter. So you calling a supervisor, keeping us here another 30, 40 minutes when we trying to go. Why are you trying to do all of this right now? >> If I want that, then I get that. I'm a grown ass man. I make my own decisions. So stop. Please. I'm not arguing with you right now. I'm not doing that. just sat here. >> Okay. It's not It's not your problem. >> I do not listen to you. I don't We're not >> Would you accept a phone call? Because my my sergeant legitimately is is a half hour away, but I'm not trying to hold you guys up. I'm not trying to hold her up. Would you accept the phone call? >> I meet him at his office. I have no problem. That's >> 53. You know where our main station is? >> Do you want do you want his his phone number? He'll give you a call. >> Yeah. If you if you have a card from him for him or something. >> I don't have his card. And your and your beef is you've been like, "Oh, you conduct a business." >> No, I don't have beef. I never said I had beef. >> Why do you want to speak to us? >> No, I would like to make a formal complaint. >> How about >> I I don't I don't I mean I don't have to tell you exactly why. I would like to make a formal like supervisor. >> You want him coming off here? >> You guys don't have to. It's all >> the supervisor because she told you you were under arrest because we're still standing here. >> I'm going to walk away if you're >> I don't give a at this point. You're not listening. You're not listening. >> You were trying to cause a scene. You are dead ass trying to cause us. >> Give me the keys. Yeah. >> You understand? We had every right to do what we did, right? That's what I'm saying. >> I do understand. >> Cuz you're involved actually in a crime and you have to ID yourself cuz you're lawfully detained. >> Yeah. And if I But if I ask for a supervisor, you have to provide super. >> That's not That's not how that works. >> Okay. >> Oh, we have to have a reason why I'm going to make my sergeant drive 45 minutes for some >> I mean, I have a lawyer. >> You don't need a lawyer. You're not getting anything out of this. Oh, I'm I'm Yeah, that's it. She's taking heat for It's okay. >> Hey, Cheyenne. So, my partner uh took the bags over to the meer. >> Uh they're saying that there's still some more items that are missing, >> like a gallon of milk, some water. Are they in the trunk by any chance? >> No. >> Can Can we check real quick? >> I mean, no. I don't >> They're saying they're They're saying that there's more stuff. I don't want to I don't want to charge you with more than >> They're saying it's milk. They're saying that it's milk, like water, and some white box, like a mattress topper or something. What is it? >> That doesn't make sense. >> Do you have anything in the in the trunk? No, >> I know you've been honest with us. You know, you mind just showing me real quick? >> Some stuff in here cuz mine, I don't give what they say. >> So, this bag is from Meer, too. >> That's from Meer. >> This >> Uh-huh. >> And they said Gatorade. That's mine. That's mine. >> Okay. But the milk and so these stuff. Yeah. They said that it was like a another bag like some They didn't know if it was like water or like the Gatorades. >> Yeah, that's why I said >> Okay. So, the Gatorades and then another bag of stuff. >> No, we don't have another bag. >> No, no, this bag. This bag right here. >> Okay. >> All right. >> Okay. And I appreciate you being honest. I know it's >> I was saying more food and then I just didn't want to got on right now. Should if that if you're being honest with me and that that's everything, then that should be it. >> Do you know what number they're at now? >> I have no idea. I know my partner took the uh other bags and was at >> I have no idea what you would have me arrested. >> I we we'll figure out. We'll let you know. Okay, Cheyenne. I I appreciate you being honest with us. All right, Cheyenne. So, listen. The total amount came out to $300. >> That was it. $352 and.77 in state of Illinois over 300 is a felony. And right now, if Meyer had wanted to press charges, both of you, both of you would have gotten arrested and your car would have been. But they just said they just want the ordinance violation. You're not going to pursue any criminal complaint. You guys are formally trespassed. You can't go back. Both of you. Okay. So, you guys are both getting an ordinance ticket. The uh hearing is March 25th at 5:00 p.m. Both of you are getting an ordinance ticket. There's they're not charging. No, it's an ordinance ticket, but there's still a hearing. Okay. >> Would this be a violation probation? >> No. >> No. >> Would with the dollar amount. It was a class 3 film. >> That would have been a violation. >> So, with them not doing it, that's what saying. >> Yeah. We we still could have guessed up to it. Um so, this is just a local ordinance. It's not a state charge. It's a local ordinance. Won't violate your location.
